Travis Kelce’s “Red Flags” Scrutinized On “The View”

The hosts of The View recently debated what they believed Travis Kelce was “hiding” about his relationship with Taylor Swift. “Some of the things he said raised some red flags for me. He said, ‘The biggest thing to me: Make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away.’ What is he hiding then? For me, I want to know the good, the bad and the ugly up-front,” Sunny Hostin said of Kelce’s recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. Meanwhile, Sara Haines said she was concerned that Kelce admitting to “thinking constantly about retirement”.

However, Joy Behar came to Kelce’s defense. She dismissed any notion that Kelce was looking to leave football to “live off” Swift. While Haines tried to argue that wasn’t what she meant, she didn’t make it clear why Kelce leaving football was a “red flag”. Kelce is 34 and has been playing in the NFL for a decade. For context, the average age of retirement in the NFL is 27.8. Kelce’s current contract, which pays him over $57 million, expires after the 2025 season. Furthermore, both Kelce brothers have begun to public eye a life away from football.

However, Behar’s defense of Kelce is surprising given her previous comments about him. Last week, Behar labeled Travis Kelce “illiterate” while discussing tweets that Kelce made in 2010 and has recently deleted. Furthermore, Behar called Kelce’s tweets an “obsession” with girls. Many of the now-deleted posts expressed a visceral disdain for fat women. Others appeared to express homophobic sentiments. Kelce has not released a statement about the deleted tweets.

However, Whoopi Goldberg came to the defense of Kelce. “Find me a high school boy who hasn’t said something stupid about girls. Young people do young people stuff. What you said 25 years ago, may not be the way that you feel this time. So everybody needs to lighten up and let these people do what they want to do,” Goldberg argued. Kelce was 21 at the time of the deleted tweets.

Former NBA first-overall pick Joe Smith has claimed that Love & Hip-Hop star Moniece Slaughter forged over $109K in checks while they were dating. Smith told DJ Vlad that his financial advisor first alerted him to nine checks totaling $109K. Furthermore, Smith later confirmed the claims through a private investigator. Slaughter had reportedly sent all of them to a mystery acquaintance, Timothy Carr. However, Smith also claimed that he was unable to file charges against Slaughter because the authorities ruled it a “he said, she said” situation.

The revelation came after Smith opened up about his financial situation. He claimed that despite making $61M during his NBA career, he only ever saw $18M of it due to taxation. Furthermore, Smith revealed that he was put into debt by his first divorce. However, Smith also took responsibility for his own actions, saying his infidelities cost him his marriage. Furthermore, he noted that his family’s current financial instability was a result of poor investments and expensive impulse purchases on his part.

However, the situation between Smith and his wife continues to get more and more bizarre. Last week, Smith’s wife returned to It Is What It Is at the request of Ma$e to provide his co-host, Cam’ron, a massage live on the show. The move was a throwback to the week before when Chavis revealed during an interview on Check That Stat that one of her non-OnlyFans side hustles was running a massage business. Cam’ron hyper-fixated on this detail, asking Chavis if she would perform a massage on him.

Additionally, the move comes just a few days after Smith himself spoke out about Cam’ron’s conduct towards his wife. “It bothers me a lot. I did not just see that but the messages I got from people who actually went to her OnlyFans page. They sent it on Instagram [and] Facebook, talking about how my wife looks and what kind of pictures my wife got,” Smith told DJ Vlad as part of their ongoing interview about the subject.

While Sharpe was hesitant, Johnson was full-throated in his support of the concept. He acknowledged that OnlyFans can be a way to find financial stability in a world where a lot of people increasingly find a lack of it.

Diddy Allegedly Pressured Cassie To Get Breast Implants

Diddy pressured Cassie into getting breast implants and had her reverse the operation despite warnings from doctors against doing so, according to an anonymous source for the Daily Mail. They claimed that Diddy met with celebrity surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan in 2009 to discuss work that could be done on Cassie’s body. The story comes following the singer’s recent bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of sexual, mental, and physical abuse.

The source recalled: “It was him talking about what he wanted. [Cassie] was like his doll, like a dress up doll. She had a flat chest. He said he wanted a full shape, sexy but not too big.” They added: “To me, watching this, it was just so cruel, so horrible. She was treated like a rat. It was literally like her voice was snatched and there was nothing she could do, that if she started standing up for herself, she’d be in trouble.“

Less than a week after getting the implants, Diddy returned to Dr. Ryan with Cassie demanding that they be taken out, despite the singer still recovering from the initial operation. The source continued: “He felt bad for her. Cassie was not talking at all. She was crying, visibly traumatized, but she wasn’t saying anything at all and just going along with whatever he said. Privately, Dr. Ryan told me this was mutilation, that I can’t even believe this. He was saying poor Cassie, this is awful.”

At the time, the Porter family matriarch brought the young rapper to his dad’s workplace, where she dropped him off at the receptionist’s desk and told the woman sitting there that she had a job to get to, but would be back later. It’s possible the 26-year-old’s resentment toward Saffold stems as far back as that, and while we’ll likely never see them resolve all their issues, at least we know that Blue and his father are working on keeping their relationship healthy.

The Color Purple will be Bailey’s first film since The Little Mermaid. She recently reflected on the making of the second film adaptation of Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel during an interview with Cosmopolitan in October. “Set was like going to a cookout – it felt like a family reunion, honestly, like you’re surrounded by your aunties and cousins,” she said at the time. “I was just excited to be there as a fan of everyone.
