Blac Chyna & Tyga Reportedly Resolve Custody Battle

Things are looking up for Blac Chyna and her ex Tyga, as the two of them have finally settled their longwinded custody dispute over their son, King Cairo. According to sources who reportedly spoke with TMZ, they resolved things amicably. Now, both parents will have rights when it comes to making decisions for King’s sake.

Blac Chyna will spend weekends with the 11-year-old, while Tyga will care for him for the remainder of the week. Additionally, the court is said to have ordered them not to speak badly about one another around their son. While this is sure to mitigate some of the tension that’s been brewing between them in recent months, they’ll also be enrolling in a program that will monitor their communication regarding co-parenting. Further, Tyga won’t have to pay child support, which Chyna requested back in August when she filed for custody of King.

Things got messy after Chyna filed, with her mother Tokyo Toni weighing in on Instagram. “@tyga you should be paying child support,” she wrote in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. “What kind of man are you? She never asked you for a dime her son. You should be ashamed of yourself.” Tyga later responded to Blac Chyna’s request, claiming that there’s no reason for him to pay child support when he cares for King during the majority of the week and pays for his schooling.

Tyga eventually filed for sole custody of the child, and Chyna revealed that she would have preferred to work things out without getting the courts involved. According to her, aside from the resources they had to expend on the legal proceedings, she also didn’t want to battle her ex in the public eye. In a recent interview with Graham Bensinger, Russell Simmons opened up about his relationship with his family. The 66-year-old has been making headlines in recent months for accusations of abusive behavior coming from his ex-wife Kimora Lee and their daughters. He revealed how the debacle has impacted his life, denying any allegations that he’s been a “deadbeat” dad.

“The only thing that affects me about this is my children being upset with me,” he explained. “I love them more than I love everything. And when my children have a narrative about me that’s not accurate, and when my children publicly say that I haven’t acted well — I’ve always been the one to hold space for them. He continued, questioning his daughters’ suggestion that he’s mentally unwell. “Do I seem mentally ill to you?” he asked Bensinger. “Yesterday, you [Graham Bensinger] were with me when my daughter texted me. Tomorrow, I close on their new apartment — the 23-year-old, and the 21-year-old… To say that I’m a deadbeat when I paid $50,000 a month for 20 years — and I still pay. And I’m still signing a new lease for the two of them so they can live in Manhattan, so one can model and the other one can go back to school.”

Iman Shumpert Disputes Teyana Taylor “Endangerment” Claim

Iman Shumpert has asked the court to dismiss new documents filed by Teyana Taylor in their ongoing divorce proceedings. The documents in question see Taylor amend the reason for the divorce from “irrevocable broken bond” to “cruel treatment”. This implies that Shumpert was physically, mentally, or emotionally abusive toward Taylor. However, Shumpert has called for the documents to be dismissed, stating that Taylor has not proven the allegation despite the filing.

It’s just the latest chapter in what is quickly becoming a nasty divorce case. Taylor originally filed for divorce only using their initials for privacy. However, Shumpert had the court amend the filing to include their full names and thus put everything out into the public sphere. Since filing for divorce, the pair have been living separately and only communicate on matters relating to their two daughters.

Who Is Iman Shumpert?

Iman Shumpert was a first-round NBA draft pick for the Knicks back in 2011. He had been a solid player at Georgia Tech, although the team only made a single March Madness appearance during his three years as a Yellow Jacket. While hailed as an elite defensive prospect, Shumpert never fully reached his potential. He was never a first-unit starter, with his single-season starts benchmark set at 58 starts in his third season. He would win a ring with Cleveland in 2016. However, he only appeared in 54 games, starting 5 of them and averaging about 24 minutes.

He married Teyana Taylor in 2016, although the pair had meet all the way back in 2011. “I did not like him at first. He had just got drafted. He was young and doing a lot. However, is this still the case? Swift has now attended five Chiefs games. The team has gone 4-1 in those games. Furthermore, Kelce has 513 yards and two touchdowns. However, it should be noted that more than half of Kelce’s yardage in these games stems from monster performances against the Broncos and Chargers.

In comparison, Kelce has just 274 yards in the five games Swift didn’t attend since they went public. While he also put up two touchdowns in that run, the Chiefs only went 3-2. So yes, Taylor Swift is still making Travis Kelce a better player. However, as mentioned above, his Swift-attended appearances are somewhat skewed by some absolutely huge single-game performances. The Chiefs are next in action against the Bills this weekend.
