Mustard’s Ex-Wife Chanel Thierry Claims He’s “Deflecting” Amid Custody Beef

Unfortunately, things between Mustard and his ex-wife Chanel Thierry don’t seem to have gotten any better. In fact, their social media beef has only heated up in recent days, with Thierry taking various shots at the producer on Threads. While Mustard continues to insinuate that Thierry’s only coming at him because she’s not over their relationship, she denies this. According to her, she simply wants him to stop getting in between her and their children, and has no interest in rekindling their own bond.

“Feeding ‘Radar online’ lies to spread about me to ruin my imagine and clean your image is a joke,” she wrote. “I’ve taken it quietly for the last year. I’m not playing no more. I will RUN ALL THE TEA. It’s me Vs You and I’m not going out like no sucka more then I already have ! Now run and tell that !!”

Chanel Thierry Rants About Mustard

“The world has watched you uplift me as a mother and wife and now because you decided to leave and try to replace me and it didn’t work,” she continued. “You want to demolish my name !? It’s disgusting. The nerve to have me fighting for custody because you are so bitter and don’t want to pay CS. I sat in that house YEARS watching them kids while you toured the world! RUN THAT SH*T SOMEWHERE ELSE!”

Thierry’s latest rant follows her claim that Mustard won’t let her spend time with her kids for the holidays, despite him previously approving it. She accuses him of being bitter, controlling, jealous and more. “Imagine not allowing a mother to see her kids on Christmas for the second year in the row is NASTY WORK,” she said. “Especially after they already expected to see her. Some of these men are more bitter then they appear.” What do you think of Mustard and his ex-wife Chanel Thierry continuing to go back and forth online? Tensions only continue to rise between Mustard and his ex Chanel Thierry amid their divorce. A jealous BD ain’t nothing to under estimate. Mind yall I just told my mom. ‘My bday coming up, watch he gonna do his big one to rain on my parade’ typical jealous behavior.” Thierry’s most recent rant follows an October development in the estranged duo’s legal battle. He accused her of attempting to unlawfully obtain his financial information, demanding that she give him $10K.

Reportedly, she issued five subpoenas to his former employers, seeking documents that are not “relevant” to their own legal battle. Allegedly, she was looking for more information about his income in order to push for higher child support payments in court. “She will use an abusive discovery strategy to cause this divorce to last longer than the entire length of the marriage,” his filing reads. DJ Mustard And Ex-Wife Battle Over Child Support After His Income Is Revealed

DJ Mustard may be on the line for a pretty penny in child support. Chanel Thierry, Mustard’s former wife, has publicly criticized his substantial income. This was done in an effort to persuade him to pay more child support. In January, Thierry submitted a request to a California judge addressing various matters. The issues were many and varied, including child support, custody, spousal support, attorney’s fees, and the breakdown in communication. She sought joint physical and legal custody of their three children. However, she requested the judge to grant her the authority to make final decisions regarding their children’s health and education. Thierry claimed that co-parenting with Mustard had become increasingly challenging due to his lack of communication. She also mentioned that their former nanny now serves as Mustard’s house manager. According to her, this further hindered effective communication regarding child-related issues.

DJ Mustard initiated the divorce proceedings in May 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. The court documents revealed that he and Chanel Thierry had signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding in 2020. Mustard recently requested a status judgment to establish his and his ex-wife’s single marital status. Furthermore, he sought to postpone the resolution of issues related to their children to a later date. Additionally, in another filing, he asked the court to retain jurisdiction over all other matters concerning their marriage. These issues included child custody, visitation, child support, and spousal support. He also asked the court to oversee division of assets and liabilities, confirmation of separate property, reimbursement claims, attorney and expert fees, and any other matters deemed appropriate.

Chanel Thierry Shares Message About Mustard’s New Fling

Last year, Chanel Thierry and her then-husband, DJ Mustard, decided to end their relationship. The couple had only been married for 18 months when the famed producer filed for divorce. According to documents obtained by TMZ at the time, the reason for their union ending was “irreconcilable differences.” DJ Mustard, whose real name is Dijon McFarlane, has three children with Chanel Thierry, who are between the ages of two and 10 years old. When he filed for the divorce, he requested joint legal and physical custody of the children. Mustard and Thierry had been together for a while, but they only got married in October 2020.

After the two announced their divorce, Chanel broke her silence via her Instagram stories. “Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers,” she wrote at the time. “Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me. I’ve [dedicated] 12 loyal years and it is more [than] heartbreaking to see things end.” The divorce has ended up with DJ Mustard paying Chanel’s living expenses. He currently must pay her around $20,000 a month. However, it looks like Chanel might still have some hard feelings about the split.

Chanel Says She Isn’t Jealous

In a new Instagram story, Chanel Thierry makes her feelings about Mustard’s new fling very clear. The video, which is a screen recording of a TikTok, shows Megan Thee Stallion talking about not being jealous. “Anybody try to play with me, nine times out of ten, they’re gonna get their feelings hurt. You wanna make me jealous? Not gonna work. I’m a bad b*tch. Were you going after this?” Meg says in the TikTok. “You tried to piss me off? Not gonna work. I’m naturally happy. Like, you don’t dictate my happiness. You know what I’m saying? I was happy before you got here. I’m gonna be happy when you leave. Like, I’m gonna still be me at the end of the day.”

This new video comes as DJ Mustard was seen out and about with a new woman. In the comments on a post about Chanel’s video by The Shade Room, some pointed out that the producer’s new fling looked oddly familiar. “She look like her…wow he’s funny,” one user said. Others say she shouldn’t have posted at all. “I wouldn’t have even posted anything. He’s an ex for a reason,” said a comment. Still, after so many years together, something like this can absolutely sting. What do you think of Chanel’s response? Should she have said nothing and let it go? Let us know in the comments!

DJ Mustard To Pay $18K To Ex-Wife In Child Support After She Asks For $80K A Month

Mustard reached an agreement with his ex-wife Chanel Thierry in child support after she asked for $80K a month. According to Radar Online, the producer will pay $18,342 in temporary child support, which begins this February. The couple informed the court of their decision on Jan. 31st.

Mustard and Chanel share three children together, Kiylan, Kauner and Kody. Though the 32-year-old producer began dating Thierry since they were 19 years old, they got engaged in 2018 before tying the knot in 2020. Last May, Mustard revealed he and Chanel filed for divorce.

Chanel’s initially asked the court for $80K a month in child support. She told the court that there’s a prenup in place that requires Mustard to pay an additional $35K in spousal support. On top of that, she wants Mustard to cough up $40K to cover her legal fees.

Though Mustard undoubtedly secured a win when the judge ruled that he should be $18,342 monthly to Thierry, she might have her way in the future. The temporary child support payments should hold her over until their next child support hearing. The couple told the court they agreed to postpone the hearing to another day.

Thierry said $80K a month is reasonable for child support, especially after a “forensic evaluation” of Mustard’s finances. Her attorneys reviewed Mustard’s earnings and determined he raked in $10M in 2020. Her sworn declaration states “is a successful American Record Producer who makes an extraordinarily high living wage.” Additionally, it states Mustard “has more than enough income to pay for both his and my attorney fees.”

Mustard and Thierry’s divorce spilled into the public eye on more than one occasion. Last year, Thierry called out Mustard on Instagram for not paying any child support. “These men be so bitter after they leave. How u mad at me for stepping after you left me,” Thierry wrote on Instagram in November. “Not paying me child support or alimony to purposefully spite me. After I already signed a prenup.”

Mustard also is willing to pay the agreed-upon monthly child support amount of $18,342. He also submitted a claim that he has paid $40,000 more than what has been asked.

“Chanel’s claim that I have starved her out financially since separation is a flat-out lie,” Mustard’s court submission reads. “From the time Chanel and I separated in May 2022, I continued to uphold my obligation to support her and the children. I continued to pay all of Chanel’s living expenses, including all of her credit card bills. I also continued paying Chanel’s housing costs and the children’s expenses including private school tuition.

“Along with the voluntary child support, I also have continued paying for 100% of our children’s educational, medical and extra-curricular expenses. Finally, I have also paid 100% of our agreed-upon spousal support buy-out of $315,000 in accordance with the terms of the Premarital Agreement.”

DJ Mustard Paying For Chanel Thierry’s Living Expenses & Credit Card Bills Amid Divorce

Mid-way through 2022, news of DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry’s divorce shocked many in the music industry. The long-time lovers were together for years prior to the producer’s rise to fame (12 in total). She previously described their separation as “more than heartbreaking.”

Before they were married in 2020, they had three children together. “Finally after three years we decided to take a step out on fate, and date. When I got pregnant with Kiy I was so scared, you told me ‘I got you, I got us.’ I dropped out of college, moved out my mom’s, stayed in YG’s garage for a while (yup, that’s what love will do). Then to your moms, until we got enough money to get our apt,” she recalled of how their family came to be.

Fast forward to 2023, and Mustard and Thierry are feuding like never before. According to documents obtained by Radar Online, his co-parent claims that he’s failing to meet the terms of their financial agreement. However, the California native shut down these allegations, coming back with a court filing of his own.

The DJ says that his ex is making the process difficult for them both. At the same time, he’s been paying for several of her living expenses as well as supporting their offspring.

The new documents reveal that Mustard is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their kids. As for child support, he’s willing to pay the previously agreed-upon amount of $18,342 a month. While it sounds high, Thierry originally requested upwards of $80k for the same payment.

“Chanel’s claim that I have starved her out financially since separation is a flat-out lie,” the 32-year-old writes in his filing. “From the time Chanel and I separated in May 2022, I continued to uphold my obligation to support her and the children. I continued to pay all of Chanel’s living expenses, including all of her credit card bills. I also continued paying Chanel’s housing costs and the children’s expenses including private school tuition.”

The father of three also believes his ex is disregarding their joint parenting plan. Consequently, he says the public is holding him in a “false and defamatory light.”

In response to his, Thierry disputed every saying she was being financially starved. “I cannot control what the media outlets pull from my social media page and what they infer from my writings,” she wrote. On the advice of her attorney, she’s also been “more cautious” about her social media interactions amid the divorce.

The exes began mediation early this month. The family matriarch allegedly said that the music star hasn’t been agreeing to anything “that would benefit the children and not himself.”
