Chrisean Rock Seemingly Reacts To Blueface’s Arrest

Earlier today, an Instagram post from Wack 100 got fans speculating that Blueface was back behind bars, which was later confirmed by his mother. Karlissa Saffold took to social media to weigh in on the debacle, also providing fans with more details surrounding his arrest. According to her, the mothers of the “Thotiana” rapper’s children are to blame.

“Jaidyn got him one charge, Rock got him the one that violated the other,” she wrote. “That’s why it’s so quiet. Praying everyone now understands why I didn’t want them together. Because parents want the best for their children. I love them all but not together. Praying for everyone to listen to their parents [prayer hands emoji]. My baby is in jail and my heart is broken again. Because they don’t listen.”

Chrisean Rock Is Down In The Dumps

It’s no secret that Blueface has contentious relationships with both Jaidyn and Chrisean. Regardless, Blueface has always found his way back to each of the two women in one way or another. In recent months, he’s been focusing most of his attention on Jaidyn, the mother of his first two kids. Her budding rap career has been more than enough to keep him busy, however, he never fails to find time for beef with Chrisean.

Most recently, the two of them went at it over a drop-off gone wrong, and Chrisean accused Blueface of punching her. She later alleged that he came to her house to try to fight her brother, ripping the door of her refrigerator off in the process. Despite this, Blueface’s arrest appears to have Chrisean Rock down in the dumps. She took to Twitter earlier today to share some vague messages, which fans think could be related to her ex’s legal troubles. “Damn,” she wrote. Specifically, he said that Williams should have worn something different, because he accused his Fendi jacket of being a fake piece. Overall, it seems like it was a pretty funny breakdown, but people really interpreted these jokes as a serious jab. One of those is Hart, who quickly had some words to say about the comedian’s attacks against him and his career. However, it seems like a lot of fans were a little disappointed with his clap-back, or that it wasn’t a very worthwhile effort. While Joe Budden by no means named this directly, many fans still interpreted that this is what he tweeted about on Saturday (January 6).

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart went at Katt WIlliams again on his NBA Unplugged show. “Do you entertain the circus or do you watch it?” he inquired to Kendrick Perkins. The 44-year-old also joked that Williams bought the New York Knicks and “returned them with a receipt,” plus some jabs at his comments about being an avid book reader as a child. Overall, it seemed like he backtracked his own remarks about this anger management being sad, and if he was just trying to joke around and be light about the topic, it didn’t really resonate with the crowd.

Vince Staples’ “WHEN SPARKS FLY” off of his amazing 2022 project RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART is, like many great hip-hop songs, a story. The first verse centers around a man speaking to his gun, and the second flips that angle in reverse, all through the metaphor of a romantic partner. If this sounds familiar to you and you hadn’t heard this track before, then you’re probably a fan of Nas’ 1996 classic “I Gave You Power,” in which he raps from the perspective of a gun. After hearing fans compare the two for so long, the Long Beach wordsmith finally figured out what people drew attention to.

“Finna listen to this Nas ‘I Gave You Power,’” Vince Staples tweeted on Thursday (January 4). “Since y’all keep talking about it in regards to the power ballad that is ‘When Sparks Fly’. Stay tuned.” Ten minutes later, “The Caliphate” MC came back to the social media platform with his verdict– plus a hypothetical. “So we back and this was a good tune. He shoulda put Ghostface on here.” We can’t say we disagree with him; after all, having Toney Starks on a record is always a blessing.

But Vince Staples doesn’t just look back to his predecessors for inspiration or guidance. In fact, he’s more prone to champion the contemporary, like his good friend, the late and great Mac Miller. “He changed my life, like my perspective, and made me a better person,” the 30-year-old stated during a recent interview. “I used to be confused, like, ‘Why is this white boy with all this money f***ing n***as and not [just] anybody with some substantial talent?’ Like, he would sit there and teach me how to make sure I’m on beat, and like, rap with certain energy. Furthermore, we know that the two have at least spent some time chatting, as they hung out at the 2016 GQ Men Of The Year party. Sure, that was almost eight years ago, but there’s no reason to believe that the two simply stopped communication since then. For those who don’t know, 50 Cent has also been one of Diddy’s biggest critics amid his various lawsuits, frequently putting the Bad Boy Records founder on blast on social media. He’s made countless insinuations about his sexuality, and even announced that he has a new project in the works detailing the allegations. All of the proceeds from the project, which he’s jokingly dubbed Surviving Diddy, will go to victims of sexual assault.

The Alchemist keeps proving himself as one of the game’s best producers year after year, but it seems like not everyone’s caught up. Moreover, Billboard recently put out their list of the 25 best hip-hop producers of all time, including Dr. Dre, The Neptunes, J Dilla, and many more. However, Uncle Al didn’t make the list, something that many hip-hop fans lamented online despite the incredibly steep competition across the culture’s 50 years. Via Twitter on Thursday (December 28), he suggested that he was pretty unbothered by the lack of mention while maintaining that the important thing is to focus on proving yourself right every single time.

As one of Memphis’ top MCs right now, Key Glock is slowly becoming one of the first names you rattle off when thinking about the best trap artists today. However, the depth behind that name has quite an interesting backstory, which just recently got a saddening but honorable new set of context. Moreover, he recently took to Twitter on Wednesday (December 27) to mourn the death of Gaston Glock, the engineer who founded the Glock firearm company and designed its products. “RIP UNK,” the Tennessee rapper expressed on the social media platform, a succinct but nonetheless tributing statement on an underrated influence in his career trajectory.

Furthermore, he’s used the “Glock” name for a lot of his promotion and branding, such as his most recent album Glockoma 2. But Key Glock had previously explained that his artist name stems from a nickname that he got while coming uo in Memphis. As such, there might be more direct reasoning as to why this name is what he formed a career off of, and whether he had a special affinity for Glocks. Still, the Paper Route Empire hitmaker has never gotten too specific about this name’s origins, so there’s plenty to unveil if he so chooses.

Kai Cenat recently reacted to Lil Baby’s new song “350” while streaming, and he wasn’t the most forgiving of critics. However, his main issue with the single doesn’t stem so much from a performance, lyrical, melody, or production standpoint. Rather, the Twitch giant noted that his beat sounded way louder than his actual vocals, leading to a muddy and unclear mix. He had to take a second to really make sure that he wasn’t just hearing nonsense in the Atlanta MC’s newest track. But the New York social media star didn’t hold back in his critique, although he probably didn’t hate the cut for what it was.
