One social media user even accused her of accepting “a huge, undisclosed amount” to speak at the rally, which she denies. She hopped on X last night to shut them down, and to remind them that she’s been using her platform to discuss politics for years. “I did not get paid a dollar for this,” her response began. “I actually been talking about these topics for the past couple years FOR FREE on ALL my platforms!! Before I was a celebrity I was a product of poverty for 24 years so you not gonna tell me what I want to see in MY community.”

During her speech, Cardi revealed that she wasn’t even planning on voting until Harris replaced Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket. “[Harris] changed my mind completely,” she explained. “I did not have faith for any candidate until she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear — things I want to see next in this country. She kept this streak intact during the campaign rally on November 1. Cardi B took the stage in Milwaukee and made it crystal clear that she was endorsing Kamala Harris for president. The rapper not only praised Harris for what she represents, but she criticized Donald Trump for what he represents.

“Hustler” is a term that’s been utilized positively in hip hop, but Cardi B made it clear that she was not in support of Donald Trump’s hustle. Beyonce delighted many of her fans she appeared at a recent Kamala Harris rally. She went onstage to represent her hometown of Houston, Texas alongside Destiny’s Child peer Kelly Rowland. Beyonce didn’t perform, but she made her support of Harris clear. This, evidently, did not sit well with Harris’ opponent, Donald Trump. The former president claimed that rally attendees booed Beyonce during her speech, and the singer’s father felt the need to set the record straight. Mathew Knowles made it clear that Trump was merely bashing the singer due to her political affiliation.

Let’s first dish on Donald Trump’s statement. The former president took the stage at Madison Square Garden and claimed that he didn’t need celebrities like Beyonce to endorse him. He then claimed that the singer and Harris were booed by the crowd. “They said, ‘Beyoncé’s coming to sing’, and she came, but she didn’t sing,” Trump said. “And then, Kamala came on as Beyoncé was leaving without singing even one song, and they booed the hell out of both of them.” TMZ caught up with Mathew Knowles on the heels on these allegations, and he made it clear that no such booing occurred.

“I can unequivocally say no one was booing,” Knowles told the outlet. “That’s just a lie. Everyone has the right to have their own perspective, but they don’t have to right to lie.” Knowles is not the only member of Beyonce’s family who has made their political beliefs known. Months before Beyonce threw her support behind Kamala Harris, her mother, Tina Knowles, endorsed Harris on Instagram. Harris also showed love to Beyonce and her fans by using “Freedom” as her introductory song during a press conference.

Beyonce’s decision to endorse Harris has been met with its fair share of derision. Trump’s mockery comes mere days after the singer was bashed on Fox News. Internet personality Xaviaer Durousseau dragged the sales for Beyonce’s last album, Cowboy Carter, and claimed she should focus more on her music career than politics. “Beyonce doesn’t need to be doing that,” he said. “[She] needs to focus on keeping her album on the charts because it’s already gone.”

LeBron James Emphatically Endorses Vice President Kamala Harris: “What are we even talking about here??”

Well, arguably the most influential athlete in the world just took a side. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has now officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States. The basketball icon shared his support for the Democratic candidate on social media.

In a post on X (formerly twitter), James wrote:

In his post the 39-year-old future Hall of Famer shared stark clips from the racist MAGA rally at Madison Square Garden his past weekend, clips of the negative press headline that ensued and additional footage of social justice protests. James was making a point and we hear him loud and clear.

As you know, James, who has consistently voiced his opinions on issues important to him, joins NBA star Stephen Curry in supporting VP Harris.

Curry endorsed the Vice President earlier, while James had kept his choice private until now.

Known for his outspokenness on social issues, James’ endorsement signals his belief that Vice President Harris is best suited to lead the country into the future.

Set to appear are performers GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, The Isley Brothers, and DJ Gemini Gilly, with oh snap, Cardi B scheduled to deliver remarks in support of Harris.

What’s more is a press release from Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s team highlighted the influence of these artists: “These artists and public figures are trusted voices for millions of Americans, who listen to their music, follow them on social media, or otherwise are inspired by them. The Harris-Walz campaign believes that by using their voices to lay out the stakes of this election, it will further encourage and mobilize people to go vote.”

In related news, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, a longtime Republican, endorsed Harris and Walz. Today (October 31), the Harris-Walz campaign announced that there will be some very special guests in attendance during the When We Vote We Win event in Milwaukee tomorrow. The guests in question are Cardi B and GloRilla, who will take the stage for two different purposes. Cardi B plans to speak to the crowd, according to Billboard, while Glo intends to perform.

They’re not the only artists expected to be there, as The Isley Brothers, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, and DJ Gemini Gilly also plan to take the stage. Their appearance will take place just a few days after Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Tyler Perry endorsed Kamala Harris at her rally in Texas. Several other celebrities have attended her rallies in recent months too, including Eminem, Usher, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.

In July of this year, Cardi fired back at those hatefully comparing the Vice President to the “Hawk Tuah” girl. “I always knew how people are when it comes to women but the disrespect?” she said on Twitter Spaces at the time. “Let me tell you something, if you don’t like her as a politician, that’s you. But the disrespect that she’s getting, all because she’s a woman, it’s very disgusting.”

As for GloRilla, she took to TikTok earlier this week to endorse Harris, telling viewers some of the reasons she thinks she deserves their votes. “A woman’s right to choose, Protect the LGBTQIA+ Community, Funding for Public Education and $15/hr minimum wage,” she listed.
