Donald Trump Hopes To Secure Black & Latino Votes With Hip-Hop & Athlete Endorsements At Massive Madison Square Garden Event

Donald Trump reportedly wants to hold a massive campaign event at Madison Square Garden in New York City featuring Black hip-hop artists and athletes. According to a new report from the Associated Press, the former President of the United States hopes the move can help him earn key votes from Black and Latino Americans that could push him over the edge in this year’s election.

Lynne Patton, a senior adviser on the campaign overseeing coalitions, says the Trump team is laying the groundwork for an expansive outreach toward minority voters. “We are speaking with Black leaders, we are speaking with small-business owners, we’re speaking with famous athletes, hip-hop artists, some of whom I think you’d be surprised if you knew who was talking with us right now,” she said in an interview according to the AP. “These are people who are expressing openness to supporting President Trump both publicly and privately.”

Plenty of artists in hip-hop have voiced support for Donald Trump over the years including Kanye West, Kodak Black, as well as Lil Pump, and more. Former President Barack Obama theorized why some rappers support Trump during an interview with The Atlantic in 2022. At the time, he previously suggested that, for some artists in the genre, “it’s all about the bling, the women, the money. A lot of rap videos are using the same measures of what it means to be successful as Donald Trump is. Everything is gold-plated. That insinuates itself and seeps into the culture.”

Jasmine Harris, who works as Joe Biden’s campaign director of Black media, labeled Trump a “fraud” in response to the report. “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans proudly admitting that they have no real strategy to reach Black voters because they believe all they need is rap concerts and free chicken is only surprising if you haven’t paid attention to Trump’s fraudulent relationship to Black America for years,” they told the AP. Trump Says If He Doesn’t Win the Election There Will be a ‘Bloodbath’

Donald Trump Hints at Possible 2024 Presidential Run

Donald Trump delivered a threat to all of America while at a rally in Ohio. Speaking in his trademark MAGA hat, Trump stated there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election.

“Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it,” Trump said. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it.”

He also said, “If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

The Biden administration responded, via spokesperson James Singer:

“This is who Donald Trump is: a loser who gets beat by over 7 million votes and then instead of appealing to a wider mainstream audience doubles down on his threats of political violence. He wants another January 6, but the American people are going to give him another electoral defeat this November because they continue to reject his extremism, his affection for violence, and his thirst for revenge.”

Chuck D Reacts To Joe Biden’s State Of The Union Address: “Pay Attention”

Chuck D says watching Joe Biden’s State of the Union address is more important than watching any “sporting event.” He shared his take on the President’s speech in a post on Twitter, earlier this week. Biden called for unity in the country, spoke on Ukraine, discussed Israel and Palestine, and much more.

“Pay Attention,” the Public Enemy rapper began. “Understanding this State of the union right now is more crucial than any sporting event going on especially with elections looming in November. The divided country looks on these faces on this screen is sad ass comedy of a haunted terrain ahead either way. Making sports appear as important as someone else’s masterbation Pay Attention. Gonna be a lotta civil casualties no matter who you vote for.”

Joe Biden Takes Aim At “MAGA Extremists” In Re-Election Announcement

President Joe Biden is someone who has experienced massive fluctuations in his approval rating. From the withdrawal from Afghanistan to gas prices, there have been plenty of headlines throughout his time in office. However, he certainly hasn’t had a turbulent tenure like the likes of Donald Trump. Regardless, Biden has a low approval rating, and it has led to speculation over whether or not he would run again for president in 2024. Overall, there are plenty of Democrats who would love to be in his position.

Although, it seems like President Joe Biden doesn’t care about the calls for him to step aside. We know this because today, Biden announced his re-election campaign. Yes, that’s correct. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be looking to maintain their spot in the Oval Office come January of 2025. In order to launch this new campaign, Biden offered a video on his Twitter account. Within this video, he explained his vision for America, while also taking aim at “MAGA Extremists.”

Joe Biden Has A Message For His Constituents

“Freedom. Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There’s nothing more important. Nothing more sacred,” Joe Biden said in the video. “Around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take those bedrock freedoms away.” With abortion rights and voting rights being taken away from the working class, Joe Biden is looking to make a case for the Democratic vision. Although, he will be facing stiff competition in the general election as it is looking likely that he will have a rematch against Donald Trump.

With Ron DeSantis plummeting in the polls, Trump looks like the likely Republican nominee. Overall, the general population has little interest in this sort of rematch. However, they may not have a choice. Either way, the next year and a half of political theatre is going to be exciting to watch. Trump and Biden do not like each other, and that hatred extends to their voter base. Let us know if you think it is a good idea for Joe Biden to run again, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news around the world.

Kanye West Not Running For President

Kanye West is reportedly no longer running for President of the United States in the 2024 election, according to the Daily Beast. According to this report, the Chicago rapper will instead focus on his family and his private Christian school Donda Academy. Moreover, this news came specifically from Adam Camacho, a documentary producer that Kanye hired in November of last year. He spoke of originally joining his team to make a movie for Ye, but also said that communication with the rapper fizzled out after a contract extension. However, once Camacho reached out to him again, he reportedly told him of another direction

“Right now, I am living my life,” Kanye West allegedly told Camacho, based on the latter’s conversation with the Beast. “Like I’m concentrating on the school, The Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it. I just want to be left alone.” Another anonymous employee of the Yeezy boss backed up these claims. “His interests are focused on his children, family, and creative endeavors… Anyone that is representing Ye in any political capacity is a charlatan. There is no political shop.

Unfortunately for Kanye West, his focus on Donda Academy is not as benevolent or unprompted as it may seem. Recently, two former teachers sued the 45-year-old for a slew of policies, including allegedly forcing kids to eat sushi every day and not allowing outside food. However, the charges also brought up much more serious charges, such as racial discrimination in hiring staff and wrongful termination.

“Ye West, I am so thankful for the opportunity to be at your school,” teacher Cecilia Hailey, one of the plaintiffs, expressed. “But things are not going the way they should, academically, socially or spiritually,” Hailey stated. “And you need to back down and try again with people who know what they’re doing, who can execute a vision, who can help you understand that we don’t know anything about producing albums, but we know how to educate. These children’s lives are in your hands and this vision, especially if you’re trying to carry out the vision of your mother, is just not working right now.” Even though he won’t run for President, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” artist still has a lot on his plate to make up for after a few months of intense controversy. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest updates and news from Kanye West.

“Started reform in nyc with @reform ended the home in PA to welcome @joshshapiropa as governor!” Meek captioned the post. “Today was incredible sometimes too much to process.”

2 Chainz praised Meek for his efforts in the comments section of the post. He wrote: “You be in the right rooms Killa.”

The REFORM Alliance page also replied: “You’ll always win when you move with love and genuine intentions. With @meekmill’s leadership we’ve passed 16 bills in 10 states.”

Meek Mill founded the organization in partnership with Michael Rubin, Jay-Z, Michael Novogratz, Clara Wu Tsai, and Daniel Loeb in January 2019. The organization “aims to transform probation and parole by changing laws, systems and culture to create real pathways to work and wellbeing.”

Michael Rubin also shared a collection of photos from the event congratulating Shapiro on his victory.

The post comes a day after Shapiro was sworn in as the new Governor of Pennsylvania. The ceremony was held outside the state Capitol, months after his victory over Doug Mastriano.

“Now is the time to join together behind the unifying strength of three simple truths that have sustained our nation over the past two-and-a-half centuries: that above all else, beyond any momentary political differences, we value our freedom, we cherish our democracy and we love this country,” Shapiro told the crowd.
