Toure Blames Rappers’ Support For Donald Trump On Younger Generation’s Lack Of “Political Spine”

Toure wants to know why a number of rappers have voiced their support for Donald Trump over the years. Kanye West, Lil Pump, Kodak Black, and many more artists in hip-hop have all controversially praised the former president. Toure gave his take in a video on TikTok.

“What in the Uncle Tom is going on?” he asked, as noted by AllHipHop. From there, he provided some ideas such as contrarianism, misinformation, and Trump’s reputation for being strong. He added: “But in the question of rappers and Trump, we also have to account for this. Modern Hip-Hop does not really have, for the most part, the political spine that those of us who loved 80s and 90s Hip-Hop had. I don’t say this to criticize the modern generation, and I know some rappers now are political, but the assumption that Hip-Hop will be progressive and political as we saw so often in the 80s and 90s, that world doesn’t exist really.”

Despite Trump’s popularity, plenty of voices in pop culture have spoken out against him. Earlier this week, Charles Barkley threatened to punch any Black person he sees wearing a t-shirt with Trump’s mugshot on it. “First of all, I’m just gonna say this: if I see a Black person walking around with a Trump mug shot, I’m gonna punch him in the face,” he said on CNN while speaking with Gayle King.

Killer Mike Proposes Child Support Change To Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Killer Mike has an idea to change the way child support works in the United States and proposed the solution to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In a video shared on YouTube, Mike speaks with the presidential candidate at a barbershop in Atlanta.

Mike began by clarifying that his jumping in the video was not an official endorsement of the candidate. He then proposed his change for child support: “This is the two-year plan: first two years are debt free. You don’t have to pay anything back so she doesn’t have to drag him into court and the court can say you owe us money for investing in your child in food programs and head start programs because in those two years he has the option to then go to a trade school. In my community, the girls are going to college and graduating. They have no men to marry because the boys are not going to college in the same way.” By the end of the conversation ends, Kennedy jokes, “Do you wanna be Vice President?”

Black Music Action Coalition Calls For Action From Joe Biden

The Black Music Action Coalition is calling on President Joe Biden to use his executive authority to pass racial equality and reparative justice legislation. BMAC co-founder and CEO Willie “Prophet” Stiggers explained the work the group wants done in a statement noted by AllHipHop.

“We launched BMAC in 2020 and one of our first initiatives was calling for a racial justice commitment within the first 100 days of President Biden being in office through the power of narrative change content and a national coalition,” BMAC co-founder and CEO Willie “Prophet” Stiggers said. From there, he brought up a lack of justice for George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and noted the inaction during Biden’s first 100 days in office.

He further said: “As part of a call for a U.S. Truth Commission and Restorative Justice, we supported ‘17 More Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black in America’ with artists like Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Khalid and Quavo, as well as ‘The Resolution’ with activists like Billie Eilish, Brittany Packnett Cunningham and Dr. Marcus Anthony Hunter. Despite the largest outcry for racial justice in our nation’s history, the first 100 days of the Biden Administration passed without any racial justice policy. We received no justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and the countless other lives that were lost.” They want a restoration of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and for the administration to start a commission to study and consider reparations for African Americans.

“In this crucial election year, we are joining the urgent demand for President Biden to move on executive actions and executive orders aligning with and supporting legislative efforts to achieve racial equity and reparative justice,” Stiggers continued. “We will do everything we can to utilize our resources and be a true bridge between the creative community and lawmakers to help push this fight forward.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Joe Biden on HotNewHipHop.

Joe Biden Reportedly Thinks Donald Trump Is A “F*cking A*shole,” Trump Advisor Responds

President Joe Biden and Donald Trump do not like each other one bit. Back in 2020, they engaged in a Presidential showdown that Biden eventually won. However, since that time, Trump has continued to denigrate the job Biden has done. Moreover, Trump is leading the Republican primaries right now, and is on track to be the nominee. This would subsequently lead to a rematch later this year. Americans are not excited for this prospect, however, it is all but inevitable.

Now, in new reporting from Politico, Biden’s distaste for Trump was made apparent. In fact, Biden thinks Trump is someone who loves to see people suffer. “The president has described Trump to longtime friends and close aides as a ‘sick f*ck’ who delights in others’ misfortunes, according to three people who have heard the president use the profane description,” Politico reported. “According to one of the people who has spoken with the president, Biden recently said of Trump: “’What a f*cking asshole the guy is.’”

An advisor for Trump, Chris LaCivita, had some strong words of his own for Biden, in response. “It’s a shame that Crooked Joe Biden disrespects the presidency both publicly and privately,” he said. “But then again, it’s no surprise he disrespects the 45th president the same way he disrespects the American people with his failed policies.” All things considered, a truly negative presidential election is being set up right now.

Meek Mill Says Joe Biden Is “Too Old” To Be President

Meek Mill called out Joe Biden on Twitter, earlier this week, suggesting that the 81-year-old is too elderly to be President of the United States. The Philadelphia rapper had been responding to a report that Biden said he delivered a message to Iran’s leaders with the airstrikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen.

“Joe Biden is too old to be our president ‘respectfully’ wtf is going on in the American system that yall pushing this through like it’s okay to trust what we seeing,” he wrote. “We talking [missiles] … advance technology… mental and physical warfare …. That’s not a lane for the older!”

Ebro Darden was among the many users to respond to Meek’s take. He wrote: “The President has a staff of 1800 people. I don’t think any President is an expert on all topics.” Another fan disagreed with Meek: “If his age is a problem, then keep the problems coming because he has been extremely effective. He has my vote!” One more user replied: “Bruh, what? Look at his record, he’s had a better presidency so far than the last 3 presidents. Yall gotta stop misleading people. If you don’t like him, cool. But to say he’s too old? He’s getting the job done at a high rate. His age hasn’t stopped anything…”

Kanye West Reveals Whether Or Not He Will Run For President In 2024

Kanye West is someone who always has a million different projects going on at the same time. However, not all of these projects are created equal. Some of them don’t really go anywhere while others are just mired in controversy. Overall, the latter could describe his Presidential bid in 2020. Although there were people who voted for him, he was not a serious candidate. No one thought he would win, and he never even came remotely close to the office of the Presidency.

However, there were reports that he would try it all again in 2024. He got very much into politics last year as he was running around with Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos. Ye was additionally running around with streamer Sneako, which just goes to show what kind of politics he was espousing. Furthermore, he was getting extremely anti-semitic the whole time, which ultimately ruined his reputation with a lot of people. Regardless, his foray into these kinds of politics made a Presidential run seem inevitable.

Well, as it turns out, Ye has changed his mind and is turning his back on the office of the Presidency. In a report from Rolling Stone, Kanye’s attorney made it crystal clear that he will not be a candidate this year. Although this might be a bit of a disappointment to some, it comes as a relief to others. A run for the presidency would probably come with plenty of legacy-breaking comments. Moreover, his remaining fans would prefer he focus on music.

In fact, he seemingly has an album on the way with Ty Dolla $ign. Although, as we already know, Ye has been known to go back on his album promises before. Let us know what you think of his most recent decision, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. Jeezy Recalls How Jay-Z Hopped On “My President” & Their Wild Live Debut

It’s not always that an artist gets to hear a remix of their song live for the first time alongside a lot of fans. Still, that’s exactly what happened to Jeezy when it comes to his track “My President,” which has a killer Jay-Z feature on the remix. Moreover, the trap pioneer recently stopped by NFL MVP Cam Newton’s Funky Friday Podcast earlier this week. During their conversation, he told the story of how Hov really wanted to be on that beat and how they got those gears turning. In fact, the Atlanta legend was incredibly surprised when the New York rapper got on stage and performed his verse- which his collaborator had never heard prior.

“I remember Jay-Z called, he was like, ‘Yo man, I need to put a verse on that ‘My President,’” Jeezy began. “I ain’t heard the verse, we in the club and I’m performing the song, the music stops. He start rapping the verse I’ve never heard in the club in front of everybody and they’re going cr*zy. I’m just sitting up there I looked at my man like, ‘I told you! I told you!”

Jeezy On Funky Friday

“My President” appeared on Jeezy’s fifth studio album The Recession, which he also called his best. As far as how Jay-Z entered the picture, that’s actually because of, well, a president. The Snowman and the Roc mogul were at Washington, D.C.’s Love Nightclub in January of 2009 to celebrate President Barack Obama’s inauguration, which is where Mr. Carter debuted his verse. The energy in that room must’ve been electric for many different reasons. Few collabs have such a specific and meaningful context behind them.

Still, the 45-year-old did it all for the love of the game; he’s making his money elsewhere. In a recent interview with Forbes New Money, he spoke on how his business ventures outside of rap, like food and liquor (not the Lupe Fiasco album), got him some bags. It’s something that the two lyricists can share, actually, and hopefully there’s another stellar link-up on the way. On that note, stay logged into HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Jay-Z and Jeezy.

Joe Rogan Slams Joe Biden, Says There’s “Undeniable Evidence” of “Corruption”

Joe Rogan slammed President Joe Biden while discussing politics with author Patrick Bet-David during a recent episode of his podcast. Rogan labeled the current president “corrupt” and described him as a “goof.”

“Whether you like Trump or not, whether you think he’s corrupt or not, that’s a human being. You know what that guy is,” he said. “Joe Biden has been a goof his whole fucking career. He has always been a goof. He has been caught lying so many times, he is so full of shit. There is so much evidence that he is corrupt.”

From there, Rogan claimed that there is “undeniable evidence” of Biden’s “corruption.” In doing so, he cited “the stuff with him and his son.” He further referred to Devon Archer, “who just testified he was business partners with Hunter who talked about all the different things that Joe was involved with.” “It’s fucking undeniable,” Rogan continued, before accusing the mainstream media of ignoring the alleged corruption. “The fact that mainstream news is ignoring this except for right-wing media is fucking cr*zy.” Check out Rogan’s full comments on Biden below.

Joe Rogan On Joe Biden’s Presidency

The discussion with Patrick Bet-David isn’t the first time Rogan has criticized the President for being “corrupt.” Back in June, the podcaster made similar accusations. “All the fucking stuff with his son and the ties to Ukraine and China and the money. The family, they got paid millions of dollars and everyone was trying to obscure it because, ‘Well, better than Trump. Better than Trump,’” he said at the time.

Kanye West’s 2024 Campaign Reportedly Received Zero Donations In Recent Weeks

It’s been a turbulent back and forth battle concerning whether Kanye West’s presidential campaign for 2024 is even happening. However, the most recent report to come out concerning it certainly doesn’t suggest any good news. Moreover, Radar Online reportedly obtained copies of the Federal Electoral Commission’s (FEC) filings on the campaign on Monday (July 17). These documents suggest that not a single person has donated a single penny to it within the past few weeks. As such, hope for the run vanished, yet people wondered how much Ye even cared about in it in the first place.

Furthermore, on April 1 of this year, apparently the campaign had around $125,000 to spare concerning expenses. After paying consultants and additional employees around $101,000 in total, Kanye West’s efforts didn’t have much money to spare by June 30. While the run doesn’t have any outstanding debts indicated by these reports, this means that the campaign apparently had just about $23,000 upon June’s end. In addition, the Chicago artist claimed he blew over $2 million in bills, but only garnered close to $455,000 in donations since his 2024 strategy’s inception.

Back in April, he allegedly told a documentary filmmaker he hired to document the campaign that he wanted to scrap it. “Right now, I am living my life- like I’m concentrating on the school, the Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it,” Kanye West apparently told Adam Camacho. “I just want to be left alone.” What’s more is that this turbulent campaign garnered assistance from controversial right-wing figures that hopped on-board, jumped off, and kept teetering on that edge. One of these is Milo Yiannopoulos, who received a $31,000 payment for being Ye’s “Director of Political Operations.”

Meanwhile, rumors of a new album from the Yeezy mogul sprouted online. As such, many fans hope that Ye can rectify his past mistakes and bring new great art to the table. Still, with all these extracurricular controversies, it’s hard to say whether this will even be worth it. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, stick around on HNHH.
