Shy Glizzy Detained By Police At Gunpoint After Allegedly Pulling Gun On GF: Video
It’s been relatively quiet on Shy Glizzy’s front since the arrival of his Flowers album earlier this year. That saw the lyricist enjoying a moment in the spotlight in February. Fans were appreciative of both his various solo efforts on the tracklist, as well as collaborations with names like Chris Brown and NBA YoungBoy. Today (May 15), unfortunately, his name is connected with far less flattering headlines. Among them are allegations of pulling a gun on his girlfriend during an argument and threatening to harm her.
According to TMZ, Glizzy was arrested this past Saturday following a verbal altercation with the woman. Their situation is said to be on-again-off-again in nature but apparently reached a new low when he brought a firearm into their latest feud. The incident took place on a public street around 9 AM, and afterward, the 30-year-old “took off.” Sources have told the outlet that the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Deputies became involved when a criminal report was filed. Glizzy was tracked down around 6 PM, and promptly arrested alongside his manager.

A video of the Washington, D.C. native’s detainment has been circulating online, showing a group of officers surrounding Glizzy and his manager at gunpoint while yelling out orders at them. Authorities didn’t find a gun on the accused, and he denied having threatened the girlfriend, who’s allegedly only been in his life for four months now. Regardless, Shy was booked on a felony charge of making criminal threats.
After approximately four hours behind bars, the “White Girl” rapper was freed on a $50,000 bond. At this time, the WeHo Sheriff’s office continues to investigate. Police Rush To Lady Gaga’s House, Intercept Man Delivering Flowers
Police rushed over to Lady Gaga’s Malibu home on Thursday night, due to reports from security that a man was on the property. Her security reportedly detained the man, who revealed that he was simply trying to deliver a bouquet of flowers to the pop star. He got into her driveway and dropped off the flowers before being stopped from making his way closer to the home, according to law enforcement. Police later told the man it was a bad idea to try to hand-deliver any kind of gift to Gaga.
Gaga’s security team reportedly told police that the man has tried to deliver gifts for her in the past. Gaga made no contact with the man, and he was not arrested. It was determined that “no crime had occurred,” as he never tried to make contact with Gaga who was inside her home at the time of the incident.

In 2021, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot in the chest while walking the star’s three French bulldogs. Two men allegedly approached Fischer in a vehicle and demanded that he give up Gaga’s dogs. When Fischer refused, they shot him and stole two of the pets, Koji and Gustav. The singer offered a reward of $500,000 for the return of her dogs. She shared a post to her Instagram followers highlighting the reward and saying, “My heart is sick.” She added, “I am praying my family will be whole again.” Surveillance footage captured the crime taking place.
At the end of 2022, 20-year-old James Howard Jackson pleaded no contest to attempted murder for shooting Fischer. The dog walker told Jackson during the sentencing hearing, “With the attack, you completely altered my life.” He added, “You shot me and left me to die, and both of our lives have changed forever.” The dogs were eventually returned to Gaga unharmed. Jackson was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the violent attack. Two additional individuals were also charged as accessories to the crime.

The 41-year-old nearly fell victim to a kidnapping plot put together by her newly-hired domestic staff. They’ve since been taken into police custody in Nigeria. Thankfully, the singer-songwriter’s security team and local authorities acted swiftly. Nigerian Police Force Criminal Investigation Department spokesperson Oluniyi Ogundeyi spoke with the media earlier this weekend, confirming that Savage’s safety is a top priority. “Yes, we have some suspects. They are in our custody, they are about four,” the African officer reported. Houston’s police force announced that they have a suspect in the tragic and fatal shooting of rapper BTB Savage. Moreover, they said on Friday (April 7) that 40-year-old Montrel Lenard Burley is a wanted suspect in the case. Not only that, but they said that they’re also looking for at least one other individual suspected to be guilty for the crime. Savage, real name Darrell Gentry, was fatally shot in Houston on March 30 and pronounced deceased on the scene. Paramedics responded to the 26-year-old’s death and informed police on the case. According to witnesses, officials maintained, two suspects sped off in a black SUV following the shooting.
Furthermore, federal agents also formed part of the investigation, which might be part of something larger.
