Gillie Bashes Police At His Boxing Event For Shooting Confusion That Led To Cancellation

Gillie Da Kid had to angrily kick everyone out of his boxing event this weekend due to an alleged shooting against police outside, but it turns out that this was a huge misunderstanding that made him all the more irate. “Shout out to everybody that supported us tonight,” Gillie began his video response to the matter. “Shout out to everybody that tuned into the pay-per-view. But I also want to say this, man. The Wilmington police is the worst f***ing police district in the f***ing country.” He claimed that he paid police and security $14,000, yet their captain had to ask him to control the crowd outside the venue that didn’t have tickets, who were apparently very rowdy.

Furthermore, Gillie Da Kid didn’t understand why this had to be his job, but he followed through anyway because the captain suggested that the police would have to use force as an alternative. “Five minutes later, y’all macing motherf***ers,” he ranted against the police. When Gillie heard that people were allegedly shooting at police outside, the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game cohost was shocked and kicked everybody out. But then, the police said that people were shouting at them, not shooting. “You made me kick all of these motherf***ers out the stands ’cause some n***as was outside shouting at the f***ing police?!” he asked indignantly.

Gillie Da Kid Addresses Boxing Event Shut-Down

This was a really rough situation for almost everyone involved, as the non-ticketed crowd and police cost a lot of people money, time, and peace. For Gillie Da Kid in particular, this situation might’ve hit home for him due to his condemnation of gun violence, but to hear that it was all a miscommunication afterwards was clearly a massive blow.

Hopefully he can avoid these types of situations in the future for his next events, as this is the last thing that he wants to promote or condone. Gillie Da Kid (or King, rather) has a brazen sense of humor, but you certainly do not want to be on the receiving end of one of his scathing rants. What should’ve been a great event seemingly fell victim to poor planning on behalf of security staff.

Quando Rondo Disses Police For Allegedly Trying To Steal His Jewelry

Quando Rondo is no stranger to legal troubles. He’s had several encounters with the police over the course of his career. The incident that allegedly took place on December 17 was unique, however. The rapper hopped on Instagram Stories to claim that local police tried to shake him down. Quando Rondo said that police officers tried to damage the jewelry that was on his person. To make matters even more surprising, the rapper claimed that they were trying to steal his jewelry.

“Police hate so bad,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “They broke my jewelry up and tryna steal my watch.” The photo that accompanied the IG Story was of a chain laying on Quando Rondo’s lap. The rapper did not provide additional context for the alleged encounter. It has not been a good holiday for Rondo in general. He will be serving a 33 month sentence in prison. He was found guilty of conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana. The case dragged on for over a year, and Rondo was facing a five year sentence at one point. He ultimately struck a plea deal with the Department of Justice in August.

Quando Rondo Accused Cops Of Breaking His Chain

Quando Rondo has also been on the other side of legal matters as of late. The rapper was identified as the target in a murder-for-hire scheme that allegedly took place in 2022. Lil Durk has been accused of flying several men out to California to perform a hit on Rondo. The rapper survived the shooting, but his cousin, Lul Pab, did not. Lil Durk and the aforementioned men will stand trial in January 2025. Rondo did not address Durk directly. He did address the situation, however, via social media.

Quando Rondo took a mature approach to the incident, and lamented the fact that rappers struggle to escape violent ends. “We didn’t get into this industry just to stay trapped in this street life,,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. “We have families and communities counting on us. It’s time to leave all that behind. We’ve lost too much already.” Lil Durk, meanwhile, has plead not guilty to the murder-for-hire charges. The rapper’s lawyer claimed there was “no real evidence” to link him to the 2022 shooting.

Trey Songz Must Now Pay A Police Officer $11 Million

Trey Songz will have to pay out a $11 million judgment after a Las Vegas judge ruled against him in a case brought by Tyrelle Dunn, a Maryland Capitol police officer who accuses the singer of assaulting him as he allegedly tried to rescue his wife from Songz’s hotel room in 2021. According to TMZ, Songz never responded to the lawsuit, leading to the default judgment.

“Plaintiff’s wife was escorted by Defendant security personnel to room 6014 where she was told she would meet Trey Songz,” the lawsuit alleged. “That while in room 6014, plaintiff’s wife was assaulted, tried to leave and had her phone taken away.” Dunn went on to allege he heard his wife screaming for help as he approached the hotel room. “The attack has had a profound and everyday impact on my life. I still have the scarring, and suffer emotionally from the attack,” Dunn wrote. “I think about the attack every day when I see the injuries to my face and body.”

The incident led to Dunn allegedly sustaining fractures to both eye sockets and injuries to his nose, face, ribs, stomach, ear, and head. In turn, he missed out on over a month of work. 8 News Now has obtained a 911 call from a worker at the hotel, in which they described Dunn as being “battered.” “He was battered in a room and we can’t go up there because we’re not sure if the people are armed,” the worker told the operator. “They battered him and they stole his money and his chain.”

It’s unclear whether Songz intends to appeal the decision and he has yet to discuss the judgment publically. Despite the lawsuit, Songz was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in the incident back in April 2022.

JAY-Z Takes Legal Action Against Kansas City Police Amid Alleged “Abuse And Misconduct” Investigation

JAY-Z and his Team Roc initiative are taking legal action against the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department after helping fund an investigation into wrongful convictions in the county back in 2021. The organization says the department has failed to follow through on a public records request issued they issued in November 2023 while looking into the “longstanding” pattern of alleged “abuse and misconduct.” In the new lawsuit, Team Roc writes that the KCKPD has been “stonewall[ing] plaintiffs for almost a year… Defendants have produced zero documents relating to any complaint or investigation into even a single instance of misconduct by any member of the KCKPD.”

The lawsuit continues: “Kansas City residents have suffered enormously as a result of KCKPD abuses. Some have been framed for crimes they did not commit; some have been coerced into providing false testimony; some have been sexually assaulted; some have endured brutal beatings; and some have even been killed. Rather than promoting a culture of transparency and accountability, the KCKPD has a long history of turning a blind eye to, at best, and even covering up, if not worse, abusive and/or corrupt conduct by its officers.”

Operating under the Kansas Open Records Act, Team Roc says it paid out $2,200 in fees to get access to the public records. Of the 225 documents that authorities have provided, they allegedly amount to mostly personnel locator records and training materials not directly related to the complaints of misconduct.

“This filing is because human beings with badges have betrayed the public’s trust … That type of behavior must be held to a standard,” Team Roc’s managing director, Dania Diaz said during an interview with NBC News. Check out Team Roc’s announcement regarding the lawsuit below.

Yungeen Ace’s addition to a concert lineup featuring Gucci Mane, Plies, Yung Miami, and Rob49 allegedly caused Tampa Police to shut down the event. Sean Kingston’s Home Raided By Police: What We Know

Law enforcement swarmed and raided Sean Kingston’s home in South Florida on Thursday morning amid an ongoing probe relating to fraud and theft charges, Page Six can confirm. The raid, involving multiple law enforcement agencies, targeted Kingston’s residence in Southwest Ranches and resulted in the arrest of his mother, Janice Turner. Moreover, the operation was part of an active investigation led by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was not present during the raid, as he was in transit from Los Angeles to Las Vegas following a performance. The specifics of the investigation and the full extent of Kingston’s involvement remain unclear at this time.

Details Of The Raid

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that their investigation commenced early Thursday in Dania Beach, Florida, and subsequently extended to Kingston’s home. The raid involved several detectives from the Dania Beach District, the Strategic Investigations Unit, and a SWAT team. Local news outlets reported a significant police presence as they raided his home, with over a dozen deputies and a command center set up in Sean Kingston’s driveway.

Authorities served arrest and search warrants, leading to the detention of Kingston’s 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, on multiple fraud and theft charges, per Local 10 News. The public information officer emphasized further that the investigation is ongoing, and more details will probably emerge as it progresses.

At the time of police raided his home, Sean Kingston was not at his Florida residence. He had posted on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, indicating he had just finished a show in Los Angeles and was heading to Las Vegas. This suggests that Kingston may have been unaware of the imminent police action at his home.

The “Beautiful Girls” singer is currently entangled in a legal dispute with Ver Ver Entertainment, which has sued him for failing to make payments on a 232-inch television installed at his Broward County home. Furthermore, court documents filed in February outline the allegations, with Ver Ver Entertainment accusing Kingston of fraudulent behavior to acquire expensive items without payment.

Dennis Card, the attorney representing Ver Ver Entertainment, described Kingston’s alleged tactics as a systematic fraud. Card stated, “He induces them into giving him really expensive things. We know that our property is inside this house right here, so as soon as the raid takes place, we are going to have a crew of people in there to reassemble it and take it back to its rightful owner.”

This recent raid is not Kingston’s first encounter with legal issues regarding his financial dealings. In 2016, he was sued for $300,000 for jewels he allegedly could not afford. Additionally, a separate Florida jeweler took legal action against him for $48,000 worth of unpaid goods. In 2015, a court ordered Kingston to pay over $356,000 to Avi Da Jeweler, a New York-based jeweler, for bounced checks related to watches. Kingston’s penchant for a lavish lifestyle, including high-value watches, custom beds, and state-of-the-art electronics, has undoubtedly brought him into conflict with creditors and legal authorities. His legal representatives have yet to comment on the latest developments.

What’s Next?

As the investigation continues, questions remain about whether Sean Kingston himself will face arrest. Law enforcement has not confirmed whether one of the arrest warrants issued was for Kingston or if plans are in place to detain him in connection with the fraud and theft charges involving his mother. However, he has since responded to the raid, writing, “People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother! My lawyers are handling everything as we speak. Fans and observers alike will be pay close attention as more information comes to light and as Kingston potentially navigates yet another legal storm.

Police Find Bullets At Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ House Amid 2Pac’s Murder Investigation: Report

Las Vegas police reportedly recovered several .40 caliber bullets while executing a search warrant on Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ home in Henderson, Nevada, last week. The search was conducted for a renewed investigation into the murder of 2Pac in 1996. Davis is the uncle of ‘Pac’s alleged killer Orlando Anderson.

According to the Daily Mirror, a Vegas police source says the bullets will undergo forensic testing “to determine if they have any link to the bullets found in 2Pac’s body or on the scene of the homicide.” Detectives have kept clothing and bullets from the scene of the infamous shooting for over 25 years.

“Microfibers or residues from the weapon or the bullet could prove to be a link,” the source added. “There is no information yet on the history of the bullets, how old they are, or their significance. And it will take some time to assess how the bullets play a role in this case.”

The source went on to confirm that police executed the search warrant because “investigators feel they can assemble enough information that could lead to an arrest or indictment.” Despite the possibility, they admitted, “it is a long shot that the bullets will be the ones from 1996.” In addition to the bullets, police seized computers, hard drives, and various photos from the 1990s of possible suspects from Keefe D’s home. Investigators will eventually present their findings to a Las Vegas grand jury to determine whether to pursue an indictment.

As for Anderson’s role in Pac’s death, the accused killer was himself murdered just two years later in 1998. On the night of Pac’s death, Anderson famously got into a fight with him in the lobby of the MGM Grand following the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing fight. Pac was shot and killed later that night.

[WATCH] Quavo Cuffed as Police Investigate Reports of Men Threatening Yacht Captain

Quavo Stars in 'Crash Bandicoot' Trailer

Quavo was handcuffed on a yacht in Miami as police investigated reports of two men threatening the boat’s captain. According to TMZ, Quavo or anyone else did not get arrested, but the video shows zip ties around the wrist of the rapper as he spoke with officers.

The call was in response to two men who were demanding a refund for the yacht experience once the captain said their rental time was coming to a close. The police report states two men threatened the captain’s life and also threatened to toss him from the boat if the trip ended.

Lil Nas X’s E-Scooter Adventure Shuts Down Tunnel: “About To Go To Jail In Norway”

From the very beginnings of his career, Lil Nas X has undeniably always kept us on our toes. The Georgia native’s debut album, MONTERO, came with a wild rollout that found the singer pregnant – much to the internet’s entertainment. Since then Nas has continued to raise eyebrows with his antics, most recently during a trip to Norway. As Rolling Stone reports, while doing some sightseeing around the capital city of Oslo, the “DEAD RIGHT NOW” artist and his friends rode down a local tunnel on e-scooters.

While it was surely fun to cruise so freely through the Norwegian streets, Lil Nas X was disappointed to find out that his scooter’s GPS wasn’t equipped for the tunnel. He and his company ultimately had to contact authorities for help, and the local police sent out an explanatory message via Twitter. “Four people on scooters have lost their way into the Fortress Tunnel. They have used large parts of the roadway, so the road traffic centre has closed eastbound lanes until we can transport them out,” it reads when translated to English.

In the time following the tweet, Nas’ IG Story lit up with a photo of him from inside the Fortress Tunnel. “About to go to jail in Norway 🔥,” he later trolled his fans, awkwardly smiling with a pink hoodie shielding some of his face. Seeing as he’s known for telling tall tales for comedy purposes, few took the 24-year-old seriously.

That’s probably a good thing, seeing as one of next photos to appear on his profile showed the recording artist posing with two police officers. “[Nevermind], they f**k wit my music,” Nas wrote on top of the image, confirming his safety like only he would.
