Gillie Da Kid Appears To Shade NBA Youngboy Or Drake, Fans Theorize

Fans believe Gillie Da Kid was throwing shade at either NBA Youngboy or Drake with a recent rant on social media. Filming himself in a hotel bed, Gillie explained why he is unable to land certain guests on his podcast. In doing so, he referenced the unnamed artists instead speaking with “a little white girl.” Drake sat down with Bobbi Althoff for a polarizing interview, earlier this year.

“To all the people that’s in my DMs that be like, ‘Yo, get such and such on the podcast,’ a lot of them people we reach out to but they don’t come to us because they can’t control the narrative,” he said. “That’s why they’ll go to a little white girl that you’ve never heard of. Or that’s why they’ll go to a little white dude that you’ve never heard of because they can’t control the narrative over here. We not recording you. We not sending you nothing to look at. We don’t ask nut-ass questions. So, why would we have to send you something to review? We ain’t doing that sh*t.”

Gille continued: “So a lot of times when you see motherf*ckas and you’re like, ‘Get them on the podcast,’ and they can’t control the narrative. They don’t wanna come. So, we don’t want your b*tch-ass.” When Akademiks shared the video on Instagram, one user commented: “Definitely talking abt drake zesty ahh.” Another wrote: “I think he talking about YoungBoy and Drake.” Others had more directly negative responses to his comments. “Why you mad a n***a wanna view sh*t before y’all put it out, y’all could say some slick sh*t I aint catch, then why you always speaking, it’s really like wallo show cause if it was just Gillie nobody wouldn’t even watch that shit being real,” one wrote.

Bun B says that Megan Thee Stallion, Big K.R.I.T., and Killer Mike all remind him of Pimp C in different ways. He explained how during his recent appearance on Drink Champs while discussing the legacy of his late UGK partner. For Megan Thee Stallion, Bun says she’s approaching Pimp’s style from a “female perspective.”

“There is no one man I think that can replicate it, right?” he began. “You see some dudes with the personalities. [Like elements of Pimp], I see that in most people. You know, Megan Thee Stallion embodies a lot of what Pimp represented. I think that’s why it was so jarring for people to see it coming from a woman. But she’s not saying nothing Pimp wasn’t saying, it just came from a female perspective.”

From there, he brought up Big K.R.I.T. and Killer Mike. “I think, Club God – BeatKing, I think he’s talking about a lot of the crazy, nasty shit that Pimp would be talking about. I think there’s a lot of people that carry his beliefs. Like [Big] K.R.I.T. carries this passion of making southern musical production looked at at a very high level. Killer Mike has the care and concern for his community and people that Pimp had. There’s so many different things, but I don’t think no one person could encompass everything that Chad encompassed. “Pink Friday 2” Sales Projections Increase, Nicki Minaj Promises To Cuss Joe Budden Out: Watch

The Barbz have long predicted that Nicki Minaj’s comeback would be epic, but even they weren’t fully prepared for the creativity unleashed by the Queen of Rap on Pink Friday 2. She reconnected with frequent collaborators like Drake and Lil Wayne on her tracklist, while also tackling new challenges, such as working with 50 Cent and J. Cole. The initial first week sales projections for the LP hit the internet this past weekend, with HDD speculating Minaj would move 170-190K album equivalent units over the next few days. After making a splash on Friday (December 8), those numbers have gotten a significant increase today (December 12).

This time, HDD says the mother of one is aiming to land on top of the Billboard chart and should sell 200K. “It would mark her biggest debut since The Pinkprint in 2014,” @chartdata noted when sharing the information. Minaj’s last album, 2018’s Queen debuted at No. 2 with 185K units sold, coming behind Travis Scott’s Astroworld, which arrived atop the Billboard 200 the week before. The Trinidadian wasn’t happy to lose out on her throne last time, so she’ll be happy to see that competition is minimal this time around.

During an appearance on Amazon Music’s +44 Podcast, Busta explained that Cole releasing more music than Kendrick keeps him in the race. Other names he listed include himself, Rakim, Nas, and Eminem.

“Greatest rapper ever? I don’t think I have one,” Busta said. “I could say five. Rakim. Some might disagree with me but Nas. I would say Eminem. I’m starting to feel like there some new guys that are starting to go into that list to me. I’m almost there with J. Cole but I’m still torn between him and Kendrick. I’m talking about only bars! If Kendrick was to get active in the same way that Cole is being active, it would be a way different conversation but again, I’m torn between Cole and Kendrick, but it would be one of them two.”

2 Chainz praised 50 Cent for “killing” his contribution to his new album with Lil Wayne, Welcome 2 Collegrove, during an appearance on the Rap Radar podcast. He says that 50, who did skits on the album, submitted his portions in one take.

“I actually wrote these things for 50 to say,” Chainz explained. “And I sent it to him because first of all, 50 is somebody that has a voice I think people can recognize. Two – he’s in the TV space and three, I knew that when it was time to put out a album, I was going to do something to maybe f*ck people up to think maybe he was.”

Additionally, Robert Allen accepted a plea deal, testified, and was granted two years, but has 20 years of probation.

Any sort of information we can get about XXXTENTACION is always nice to see, especially when it relates to his personal life. According to XXL, his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, chatted with podcaster, Gary The Numbers Guy, for an interview that delved into the mind of XXX. Sharon Osbourne Says Whitney Houston Accused Her Of Trying To Get With Bobby Brown

Sharon Osbourne says that Whitney Houston once accused her of “trying to f**k” her then-husband, Bobby Brown, during rehearsals for VH1’s Diva Duets in 2003. She recalled the incident during an episode of her family’s podcast, The Osbournes, on Tuesday.

“I was hosting the Divas for VH1, and I was at sound check, and Whitney was up on stage doing her sound check,” Sharon said. “Her little girl [Bobbi Kristina] obviously liked watching The Osbournes and she came up and sat next to me — gorgeous little thing. And then suddenly her dad came and sat [on] the other side of me, Bobby.”
