Pi’erre Bourne Shares Highly-Anticipated “Honeyberry 2”
Pi’erre Bourne recently dropped his much-anticipated song, “Honeyberry 2.” The rapper previously produced work for top artists like Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, and Lil Yachty, so it’s no surprise that “Honeyberry 2” has a hard-hitting beat that makes the song instantly memorable. The song is a sequel to the iconic 2017 song, “Honeyberry,” on which the rapper raps about chasing money instead of love.
Both the sequel and the original song explore similar topics. In the new song, the “Drunk And Nasty” rapper details a tumultuous relationship with a woman. With lyrics like “I’m on stage (Stage), she’s outside (Side) /Come backstage (Stage), spend some time (Time)/ If I come back, I’ma hit your line (Line) / Duo Love, hit that b***h two times (Times)/Show me love, sendin’ hearts all the time/Say she in love, but I know she lyin’ (She).” The song also has lyrics that detail being unable to trust the woman in question, with other lyrics that say she may be cheating while she searches for signs of his infidelity. The song acts as both a solid stand-alone as well as a sequel.
The Long Awaited Sequel Is Here
Fans have been waiting for “Honeyberry 2” since the 2019 album, The Life of Pi’erre 4. There was a lot of hype around the original “Honeyberry,” so it’s unsurprising that the sequel was received well. The song was expected to be an addition to Bourne’s latest album, The Life of Pi’erre 5, but wasn’t to the disappointment of some fans.
The song fits the general theme of the album well while still showcasing Pi’erre’s versatility. The song’s outro speaks about the woman’s love being ancient, which adds an additional layer to the song. Other recent songs from Pi’erre, such as “IG,” touch on the topic of unfaithful women, but it’s a testament to his artistry that all of the songs are distinct.

Pi’erre Bourne Drops Long-Awaited Single “IG”
Sometimes having a cult fanbase can be a double-edged sword. One of the finest examples of this is Pi’erre Bourne. In 2018, ahead of his now-beloved debut studio album The Life of Pi’erre 4, he previewed. song on his Instagram Live titled “Instagram Hoes.” Although fans went wild for it, he decided not to include it in the track list for the June 2019 album. After the release and subsequent 2020 deluxe passed, though, Pi’erre still kept the song close. Two years later, he previewed the song again on Instagram Live in 2020. Fans became even hungrier for it naturally.
But, all these loyal followers of Pi’erre could do is replay the clip of his Instagram Live session. Still unreleased, his fans would ask him in the comment section of every Instagram post and tweet to drop it. In 2022, another album release passed without the inclusion of “Instagram Hoes.” On Sept. 2, he dropped Good Movie, including 23 tracks and features from Young Nudy and Don Toliver. Even this couldn’t satisfy fans. Months later in April, unfortunately, “Instagram Hoes” leaked finally. While this may have pleased some of his fans, true Pi’erre supporters still wished he would put it on digital streaming platforms. This week, their wishes finally came true.
Pi’erre Bourne Pulls Through

Jamie Foxx’s Kids Don’t Believe That Pi’erre Bourne’s Producer Tag Is Him
Pi’erre Bourne is rising. The producer is prepping for the release of Good Movie and is heading out on a big tour soon. He’s so famous that Jamie Foxx’s kids are fans, and they don’t believe that his producer tag is actually an old sample of Foxx’s voice.
“I thought that was great, man,” Foxx said when asked in an interview what he thought of the producer tag sample. “My kids… I’m always trying to impress my daughter. She’s 13 and with her friends and I’m like, ‘Listen, that’s me saying that,’ and she’s like ‘Dad, that ain’t you.’ Because, you know, she’s too young to have seen that show when it was out.”
The iconic tag, if you don’t know, comes from an episode of The Jamie Foxx Show and it consists of Foxx shouting, “Yo Pierre, you wanna come out here?” and then making the hilarious sound of a door creaking.
Good Movie is set to arrive in just a few days, and it follows up a joint album with Juicy J in June and reuniting with Lil Uzi Vert on his album The Life Of Pi’erre 5 last year. Last week, the rapper unveiled the single “Good Movie” which kept fans eager to hear the rest of the album.
