BTB Savage Shooting: Rapper Reportedly Killed After Posting Bloody Photo Of Old Murder Scene

Another young rapper has lost their life as a result of senseless gun violence, VladTV reports. “Real Fraud” artist BTB Savage was allegedly shot and killed near Houston’s River Oaks section on Thursday (March 29) evening. This, just hours after posting photos on social media of him standing over a murder scene where he had previously killed someone. The images in question see the young artist proudly flaunting his flashy jewelry while standing beside a door riddled with bullet holes and a floor splattered in blood. “TOO MUCH MOTION,” he wrote alongside them, referencing a recent music video of his.

It would appear the friends of BTB Savage’s victim didn’t take kindly to his message. They seemingly set out for retaliation just hours later. Around 6:10 yesterday evening, a shooting transpired in the 2100 block of Mid Lane. Ultimately, the embattled lyricist lost his life. According to Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner, the young Black man was pronounced dead upon arrival. Official confirmation of his identity still has yet to come. However, Akademiks and DJ Vlad are both asserting it was BTB who was killed.

As HipHopDX notes, witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting note that Savage was driving a white Mercedes. Suspects reportedly pulled up beside him in a black Subaru, at which time multiple shots were fired and the latter vehicle fled down San Felipe. As they continue to investigate the tragedy, local authorities are asking that anyone with any information please come forward.

While his rap career was only just taking off, BTB Savage previously appeared on podcasts like Off the Porch and VladTV to discuss his experience openly killing a man in self-defence. The incident (which happens to be the one from the troubling photos he posted), took place after someone attempted to rob the rising star while asking him for a feature. MSCHF’s Big Red Boots Followed By Wild New Backwards Sneakers: Photos

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen any celebrities rocking MSCHF’s Big Red Boots. However, the Brooklyn-based collective is about to be back with a vengeance when their latest design makes its way into the hands of consumers. Earlier this week, the brand unveiled its new BWD Shoe. It’s designed so that owners can insert their foot into either the front or back. Wearing it the normal way will surely earn you lots of compliments. If you want to stand out, though, the way to go is by stepping out in a seemingly backward pair of sneakers.

As TMZ notes, the actual fit of the shoes remains unclear. Stock photos circulating online make it seem as though wearing them in the optical illusion style would feel more like a sandal than a traditional sneaker. The unique design obviously isn’t for everyone, though they’re already receiving an enthusiastic response online. They have yet to be promoted by any celebrities on social media. Still, we won’t be surprised to see MSCHF roll out another star-studded marketing campaign for the BWD Show in the coming weeks.

As you may recall, Ciara and Iggy Azalea both donned the Big Red Boots earlier this year. The former paired hers with a Michael Jackson shirt while dancing in the mirror. The latter showed off even more skin in a tiny red thong and a white t-shirt. Others to step out in the viral shoes include Pardison Fontaine, Lil Wayne, and Fivio Foreign, who was heavily clowned for his look at the time.

MSCHF’s BWD Shoe will drop on April 11th. It will be available for purchase exclusively on the brand’s website or the MSCHF Sneakers app. The price for the fashion-forward runners is $135. They’ll reportedly only be on sale for a one-hour window beginning at 2 PM ET. The cost is far lower than the Big Red Boots, which sold for $350, though it’s likely they’ll end up running eager shoppers far higher amounts on resale sites. Do you plan to snag yourself a pair? Ice Spice Throwback Photos Surface On Twitter, Give Glimpse Into Bronx Baddie’s Humble Past

Because she rose to fame at such a rapid rate, little is known about the early life of Ice Spice. She was born Isis Naija Gaston on the first day of the year 2000. While many simply love her for making bad bitch bops like “Bikini Bottom” and “In Ha Mood,” others have been dying to know more about her past, and what led her to become one of the Bronx’s most prominent rising drill artists. Thankfully, internet sleuths have been able to unearth old photos of Spice, showing just how much change has taken place since her low-key childhood in New York.

We’ve already seen some of the 23-year-old’s high school yearbook photos (which markedly had users drawing comparisons to Lauren London), as well as images of her on the volleyball court. Prior to blowing up thanks to “Munch (Feelin’ U),” Spice was a talented athlete who played for both Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers and the State University of New York at Purchase. While she’s left those skills behind in favour of pursuing rap, she recently said that her initial dream was acting. This is something the Spice Cabinet hopes she still chases, especially now that she’s well-known within the industry.

As XXL notes, this past weekend saw even more old photos of the Like..? artist surfacing on social media. Among them were candids snapped of her applying mascara in the mirror, throwing up peace signs while goofing off with friends, and letting her naturally brunette curls blow in the breeze while posing for photos outside. Apart from the childhood snapshots, Twitter user @icesmood also included more recent content of Spice before fame, which finds her sporting platinum blonde hair and putting her rap skills on display.

“And ending off with the ‘Thriller’ of our generation,” they previously wrote atop the thread’s final part, including a video of the rap diva twerking her behind in a cutout-clad two-piece black suit. Megan Thee Stallion & Kamla Harris Celebrate Women’s History Month Together: Photos

Though Megan Thee Stallion spent much of early 2023 away from social media and the public eye, the Houston native has been outside with a vengeance lately. Not only did she make her red carpet return at the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party, but she also announced that her first performance of the year will be taking place in her hometown at the end of March. Clearly, she’s feeling much better now that Tory Lanez has been found guilty of shooting her in the foot several years ago.

Aside from the glamorous parties (one of which found her smoking weed with Seth Rogen) she’s been attending as of late, Thee Stallion also has a few wholesome activities on her calendar. This weekend specifically found the “Big Ole Freak” hitmaker taking a trip across the country to Washington, D.C., where she and Vice President Kamala Harris spent some time together in celebration of Women’s History Month. Megan shared a photo dump from her vacation on Saturday (March 18), revealing some of the fun the two had together.

To begin her carousel, the 28-year-old showed off her outfit for the event, for which she kept it (mostly) conservative. Thee Stallion donned a calf-length black and blue skirt with a matching button-up sweater, which markedly dipped down her chest with a sweetheart neckline to reveal plenty of cleavage. In the second image, she and VP Harris snapped a selfie together. Megan sticks out her tongue to expose perfectly white teeth while the politician grins from ear to ear with excitement over the special moment.

JT Is “Actin Bad” In Saucy New Instagram Thirst Traps

JT just lit Instagram on fire again after she posted some new thirst trap pictures of her in a tight-fitting black ensemble. Moreover, she displayed a small top, tight unbuttoned jeans, and some pale yellow-accented big shades to match. The Miami MC wowed many in the comments section, whether famous friends or everyday admirers of her talent and style. For example, Diddy put some fire emojis, whereas her fellow City Girl Yung Miami wrote, “As you should!!!!!!!” Overall, whether it was people talking about her physique or about Uzi’s luck, she got a lot of love.

Speaking of Lil Uzi Vert, they recently caught some flack for a line that they included in an unreleased track they debuted at Rolling Loud. “I make a City Girl believe in Satan,” they rapped on the song. Of course, that got a lot of flack from the typical Satan-deniers who feel that such an aesthetic is too much, something even many rappers agree with. However, they said that they just meant that they can make a girl do “whatever [they] say so.” Also, Uzi added that JT “didn’t think too much of it.” From that and other public statements, it seems that Uzi’s choice is purely an aesthetic one and not indicative of legitimate devil worshipping.

Power Book II: Ghost will return this Friday, March 17. Ahead of the release, the show’s third season premiere was commemorated by STARZ on Tuesday, March 14, with a formal dinner at the Public Hotel in New York City.

Three-time NAACP Image Award winner Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Michael Rainey Jr., Larenz Tate, Lovell Adams-Gray, Gianni Paolo, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Berto Colon, Caroline Chikezie, Paton Ashbrook, and Shane Johnson were among the cast members who attended the intimate event, which was hosted by Daytime Emmy Award winner Tamron Hall. Additionally present were STARZ President of Original Programming Kathryn Busby, executive producer Mark Canton, producer Dorothy Canton, and showrunner Brett Mahoney.

Following a delectable sit-down dinner where guests interacted over vibrant and fascinating discussions about the much-awaited new season, the festivities started with specialty cocktails and passed appetizers.

Busby’s introduction at the event teased the new season, “You will see that this year the show is juicier, bloodier and sexier than ever before and that we’ve got the same betrayals, alliances and ‘Power’ dynamics you’ve come to love and respect.”

Hall added, “Season three is always a huge accomplishment, but when you become a cultural phenomenon, that is a next level that few shows can claim, but this show, this cast can honestly say that you are transformative, important, relevant, game-changing.” Hall continued, “I think we should toast to this phenomenal cast who have brought something to TV with STARZ that people truly can’t stop talking about.”

Ashanti & Her Bikini Bod Enjoy A “Floating Breakfast” In Abu Dhabi

For many women, aging is undoubtedly made out to be a terrifying thing. This causes some to attempt to hold onto their youth in vain through the use of various cosmetic procedures and beauty regimens. Thankfully, a new generation of 40-something celebrities has been markedly proving that getting older doesn’t have to be scary. In fact, it can actually be sexy. Starlets (and mothers) like Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj consistently put their curvaceous bodies on display online. On Monday (March 13), Ashanti joined them with some saucy snaps of her own.

The R&B darling’s Instagram photo dump starts off relatively innocent. She stands chest-deep in a beautiful pool, an extravagant tray of colourful food sitting in front of her. “Floating breakfast in Abu Dhabi,” Ashanti wrote in the caption, tagging her location specifically as Saadiyat Island. It appears that she indulged in tropical fruits, a smoothie, and plenty of other yummy treats while hiding from the sun in an oversized hat.

On Monday (March 13), the Canadian celebrated his 32nd trip around the Sun, which earned him a heartfelt tribute post from his ex.

In wake of that (somewhat) shocking news, reports came forward stating that the mother of two had no interest in a romantic reconciliation with Thompson. However, he’s since bought a house located incredibly close to Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, shortly before the death of his own mom, Andrea Thompson, in early 2023. Immediately upon hearing the news, the co-parents came together to fly to Toronto where they mourned their unexpected loss.

The tragedy seems to have brought them closer together and given the basketball star a new outlook on life. In a heartfelt tribute to his fallen angel, Thompson apologized for any embarrassment he may have caused while also promising to become better and grow.
