Tyga & MSCHF Lose Ruling In Vans Trademark Infringement Case

Tyga and MSCHF came out with a shoe last year that turned out to be pretty controversial. Of course, we are talking about the Wavy Baby. Upon looking at this shoe, it is clear that it is supposed to be some sort of take on the Vans Old Skool. However, this fact is so obvious that anybody could see what is going on here. Unfortunately for Tyga and MSCHF, this actually led to some litigation from Vans. According to Billboard, Vans sued the two sides, saying it was “blatant trademark infringement.”

Not long after the lawsuit, a court ruled that MSCHF needed to stop selling the shoes immediately, at least for the time being. Well, the case was officially ruled on Tuesday, by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Once again, Tyga and MSCHF were struck down. Originally, they argued that this shoe was protected by the First Amendment as they were creating a parody. Essentially, it was a critique of sneaker culture, or at least that is what they had been claiming.

The court decided that this was not, in fact, a viable defense. “If a parodic use of protected marks and trade dress leaves confusion as to the source of a product, the parody has not ‘succeeded’ for purposes of the [federal trademark law], and the infringement is unlawful,” the court explained succinctly. Needless to say, you will not be seeing these kicks on the market again. Instead, they have been banished, never to be heard from again. Although we’re sure MSCHF will find a new sneaker to shock and appall people with.

Rubi Rose Wears MSCHF X Crocs Big Yellow Boots To Visit The Corner Store In New Thirst Traps

Just when memories of MSCHF’s Big Red Boots taking over your timeline earlier this year are finally fading away, the company is back with another innovative design. Earlier this week, they confirmed that their collaboration with Crocs will be dropping in August. It finds them offering their viral cartoon-ish shoe in a new colorway – Yellow – and adding holes throughout the bottom and a strap on the back to make the boot resemble a Croc. They’re certainly not for everyone, but so far, we’ve seen a few stylish celebrities step out in the soon-to-be viral shoes.

As he continues on his personal healing journey, Lil Durk posted up in his Big Yellow Boots, receiving an expected mixed response from followers. The internet may not have been feeling like 7220 hitmaker’s OOTD, but the look Rubi Rose put together seems to be faring better among social media users. Likely because it showcases plenty of her slim thick figure, but hey, who’s counting?

Rubi Rose Matches Her Wig to Her Big Yellow Boots

“Sweet yellow bone he call me honey mustard 💛,” the OnlyFans creator captioned her latest IG photo dump. In the first snap, Rose proves she’s just like “normal” girls, stopping at the corner store to fuel up her white SUV. To match the MSCHF shoes on her feet, Rubi donned a shoulder-length yellow wig, creating contrast with a green tube top and hat.

Other images show the 25-year-old cheekily grabbing a drink from inside, using her perfectly manicured hand to hide her underwear beneath her ultra-mini skirt, and finally, checking out her endless options in the snack aisle.

MSCHF Rumored to Drop 'Big Black Boot' | The Source

Donald Glover & The Clermont Twins Wear MSCHF’s New Backwards Sneaker

Big Red Boot season may be over but fear not sneakerheads, MSCHF has another wild design that’s sure to be seen everywhere this summer. The BWD Shoe is a multi-colour sneaker that offers owners two ways to slide their foot inside – one of which obviously resembles a backwards model. Photos of the product surfaced online late last month, and now, some of our favourite stars have been seen wearing them out and about. Among them is Donald Glover, who stepped out for the Brooklyn Nets vs. Orlando Magic game on Friday (April 7) in his fresh kicks.

While his footwear certainly stood out for its abnormal nature, the rest of the Swarm creators outfit allowed him to (mostly) blend in with the crowd. Glover donned a white tee with a QR code printed on it, a Hawaii cap, and classic blue jeans. He also carried a tan leather jacket with him, later draped over his leg while watching the NBA players tear up the court. The multi-talent’s public appearance in the MSCHF shoes comes just days before their quickly approaching official release on April 11.

Others who got their hands on a pair of the BWD Shoe early include the Clermont Twins, who showed theirs off in their usual thirst-trappy fashion on Instagram. “BADDIES COME IN TWOS👯‍♀️,” the sisters wrote in their caption, almost perfectly mimicking the twin emoji with their stance. Aside from the MSCHF sneakers, both Shannon and Shannade wore pink and white crew socks to their mid-calves, as well as tiny black lingerie sets, which markedly exposed their underboob. Finally, they completed their look with large cross chains covering their chests.

Over the next few days, it’s entirely likely we’ll see more stars sporting the BWD model, similar to the rollout that came along with the Big Red Boots earlier this year. Keep scrolling for more photos and videos of celebrities sporting MSCHF’s new design. Will you be purchasing a pair for yourself? MSCHF’s Big Red Boots Followed By Wild New Backwards Sneakers: Photos

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen any celebrities rocking MSCHF’s Big Red Boots. However, the Brooklyn-based collective is about to be back with a vengeance when their latest design makes its way into the hands of consumers. Earlier this week, the brand unveiled its new BWD Shoe. It’s designed so that owners can insert their foot into either the front or back. Wearing it the normal way will surely earn you lots of compliments. If you want to stand out, though, the way to go is by stepping out in a seemingly backward pair of sneakers.

As TMZ notes, the actual fit of the shoes remains unclear. Stock photos circulating online make it seem as though wearing them in the optical illusion style would feel more like a sandal than a traditional sneaker. The unique design obviously isn’t for everyone, though they’re already receiving an enthusiastic response online. They have yet to be promoted by any celebrities on social media. Still, we won’t be surprised to see MSCHF roll out another star-studded marketing campaign for the BWD Show in the coming weeks.

MSCHF’s New BWD Shoe

As you may recall, Ciara and Iggy Azalea both donned the Big Red Boots earlier this year. The former paired hers with a Michael Jackson shirt while dancing in the mirror. The latter showed off even more skin in a tiny red thong and a white t-shirt. Others to step out in the viral shoes include Pardison Fontaine, Lil Wayne, and Fivio Foreign, who was heavily clowned for his look at the time.

MSCHF’s BWD Shoe will drop on April 11th. It will be available for purchase exclusively on the brand’s website or the MSCHF Sneakers app. The price for the fashion-forward runners is $135. They’ll reportedly only be on sale for a one-hour window beginning at 2 PM ET. The cost is far lower than the Big Red Boots, which sold for $350, though it’s likely they’ll end up running eager shoppers far higher amounts on resale sites. Do you plan to snag yourself a pair? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more sneaker updates.

Janelle Monáe Wears MSCHF Boots With A Twist At NBA All-Star Weekend

Janelle Monáe just stepped out in customized MSCHF boots during the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend. Of course, their style and ability to keep up with (and set) trends is no doubt impressive. As such, it’s only fitting that their embrace of the viral Big Red Boots should come with a twist. Furthermore, artist Kevin Rejtö Lowry painted the custom “Float” boots for Janelle, referencing their latest comeback single. Moreover, it’s a sky-blue background with various clouds floating over the shoe, making for a beautiful sight. Also, Monáe combined them perfectly with a sky-blue “Float” varsity jacket and blue-white shades.

However, the 37-year-old’s fashion talents didn’t necessarily translate into a high-scoring Celebrity All-Star performance. Even though Monáe played defense on their opponents while the singer’s team had possession, they still had a good time. “Nah fr that was bucket list,” they tweeted after the game. “I got cut from my team as a kid (it was traumatic!) and now I’m laughing. Thank you @NBAAllStar for having meeeee.” Also, Rolling Stone reported that Dwyane Wade (who ran Monáe’s team) told them to step up at one point. “When we down here, I need you to be ready to score,” he allegedly said.

Despite Monáe’s hooping skills, they certainly impress with their fashion every time. What’s more is that there were plenty of other people on their team who carried that weight already. For example, in almost prophetic fashion, 21 Savage scored Team Wade’s 21st point with a clean three-pointer. Their team, coached by Giannis Antetokuonmpo, faced Utah Jazz governor Ryan Smith’s team, under Fat Joe’s coaching. Moreover, Monáe went head-to-head with Cordae, Ozuna, DK Metcalf, and many more.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City artist recently returned to music with their “Float” single, during which they boast in classic, confident Janelle fashion. Came back from the future to take all y’all n***as and take all y’all h*es,” they rap. “They said I was bi, yeah, baby, I’m bi, a whole ‘nother coast / She stay in the Hills, he stay in Atlanta, I paid for them both / My face card don’t come with a limit, I swipe it, I spend it, I swear I be doin’ the most.” Check out their new track above and return to HNHH for the latest greatness from Janelle Monáe.

Ciara Sports MSCHF Big Red Boots & A Michael Jackson Graphic Tee

We’ve seen some undoubtedly questionable fashion trends throughout the years. The latest craze to have everyone talking is MSCHF’s Big Red Boots. All month long, various celebrities have been stepping out in the undeniably obnoxious footwear, either earning praise for taking a style risk or being totally trashed by trolls. Fivio Foreign mostly received the latter, while Coi Leray conversely seems to be influencing people with her look.

On Thursday (February 16), Ciara revealed that she too is finally buying into the trend. The southern-born songstress posted a video on several social platforms that finds her singing her upcoming “DaGirls” track. For her outfit of the day, the mother of three donned sunglasses, layered chains, and an oversized Michael Jackson graphic tee.

The red elements on her shirt obviously match MSCHF’s boots, making for what some would argue is a very cute outfit. Of course, not everyone is a fan – and the haters certainly haven’t been quiet about speaking their opinion. “It’s giving Olive Oyl!!” one person joked, markedly comparing CiCi to Popeye’s animated wife.

“We need to start calling the cops on anyone wearing these boots. Stop trying to make fetch happen,” another user declared, expertly quoting Gretchen Weiners from Mean Girls. Thankfully, it hasn’t all been hate in the 37-year-old’s replies. “Only [you] could pull this off, beautiful queen,” a fan praised her on Twitter.

Other celebrities to step out in the MSCHF Big Red Boots lately include Iggy Azalea and Pardison Fontaine. The former paired hers with a red thong. She chiefly put her curves on display while the latter shared a photo in his amid rumours that he and Megan Thee Stallion have split. They officially went on sale earlier this week, though they’ve since sold out and are going for upwards of $1,000 on StockX.

Ciara’s Instagram feed has been lighting up with stylish content since 2023 began. In fact, at the top of the year, followers began speculating that the “1, 2 Step” hitmaker is with child again after she appeared to hide her stomach in a post. The rumours have since seemingly been put to bed, but you can still read all about them here.

Iggy Azalea Pairs MSCHF’s Big Red Boots With A Bright Red Thong

Iggy Azalea is one of the most photogenic artists in the entire world right now. She is someone who is constantly posting on her Instagram page, and more often than not, she is giving fans some thirst traps. Overall, these thirst traps have certainly ramped up since she created her OnlyFans. This OF page was created as a way to help promote her music. Consequently, she has seen an uptick in sales. Moreover, she has seen some huge returns when it comes to her overall earnings.

Now that she is making this kind of content, she can do a better job of capitalizing on certain trends. One of those trends is none other than the Big Red Boots that were released by MSCHF today. These boots are known for their peculiar construction. Additionally, they are pretty massive and aren’t exactly convenient. However, plenty of people love these right now, and they are the perfect piece of footwear if you are trying to get off a fit pic on Instagram. Apparently, Iggy has been attempting to do just that.

Iggy Azalea Stuns

In the Instagram post above, Iggy can be seen wearing a pair of the Big Red Boots. Additionally, she was wearing a white cropped long-sleeve and a bright red thong. The post was then captioned with the phrase “Big red boots for a big boss bitch.” Clearly, Iggy Azalea was feeling herself while wearing these massive boots. It also helps that she was getting off of a private jet which just adds to the aesthetic. Moreover, Iggy wrote her name on the bottom of one of the boots which is giving big Andy from Toy Story vibes.

With this latest Instagram post, perhaps Iggy will inspire more people to go out and cop these kicks. Of course, that could be a hard sell considering just how tough these are to pull off. However, if you want to flex on your friends, then you may just have to get these. Not to mention, Iggy looks so good in these that she may just very well be a convincing enough vessel for these things. Let us know what you think of the big red boots, in the comments below.

Paraison Fontaine Rocks MSCHF Big Red Boots Amid Megan Thee Stallion Breakup Rumors

Pardison Fontaine is the latest celebrity to rock MSCHF’s viral and controversial Big Red Boots. Moreover, the rapper and ghostwriter posted many pictures and short videos on his Instagram page with the footwear. For the caption, he wrote “Damn ..looks like I got da boot,” adding a laughing emoji at the end. Also, he tagged MSCHF and Entire Studios in his post, so perhaps it’s part of a larger partnership. However, most people online think it might refer to the closure of another partnership.

Furthermore, Megan Thee Stallion sparked breakup rumors last week when she unfollowed Pardi on Instagram. Not much emerged since then, but maybe that’s the “boot” the New York native referred to. After all, the first pictures he posted with the boots show him on the phone, sitting on a flight of stairs. Many think it looks oddly similar to someone ejected from a room, home, or relationship. Still, it might all be fun and games, and there’s likely a lot happening behind the scenes that we’ll never know about. However, maybe that’s exactly the rumor that he’s playing with, and might just be trolling fans.

Pardison Fontaine & Meg’s Case

Despite these rumors, the 33-year-old will likely continue to support the Stallion. Moreover, he posted an Instagram message to women who, much like Megan, faced ridicule for their truth. “To any woman especially ones of color that has suffered an injustice I feel for you. When you do find the courage to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed. Your credibility will [be] questioned.. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass. In an instant you can go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public.”

“To any one with a daughter sister mother niece or aunt,” he added. “I pray for their protection, I pray for their covering, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.” Meanwhile, Meg spoke of the effects her ordeal with Tory Lanez affected their relationship while on the stand. “I feel disgusted, I feel dirty, my own partner is embarrassed,” she admitted. “I can’t even be happy, I don’t want to talk to friends or family.” Check back in with HNHH for the latest on Pardison Fontaine and Megan Thee Stallion.

Lil Wayne & Coi Leray Step Out In MSCHF Big Red Boots: Photos

Looks like Kanye West is getting the last laugh after all. After being relentlessly clowned for his own oversized black boots, the rapper’s contemporaries are finally catching on to his ahead-of-the-curve style. An increasing number of celebrities are stepping out in MSCHF’s Big Red Boots, including Lil Wayne.

Weezy is one of the most recent artists to hop on the trend. He’s taken fashion risks in the past, and his latest look is certainly raising some eyebrows. On Saturday (February 11), the “Lollipop” hitmaker wore his bright boots while filming a music video with NLE Choppa. The shoes were obviously the most interesting part of his OOTD. The rest consisted of a long white shirt and baggy yellow and black striped shorts.

As XXL notes, Wayne is (literally) following in the footsteps of Fivio Foreign. The New Yorker was clowned for wearing the MSCHF boots on TikTok. Regardless of the hate they’ve been getting, the trendy footwear continues to appear on social media. Surprisingly, the public doesn’t have access to them yet.

They’re going on sale later this week for $350 USD on the official MSCHF website. The release will take place on February 16th, so you have time to prepare your bank account. However, it’s worth noting that some resellers are already requesting over $2,000 for the highly anticipated boots.

If Wayne’s look hasn’t convinced you to purchase the BRBs, perhaps Coi Leray’s will. She also spent her Saturday stepping out in the viral, Astroboy-inspired footwear, pairing them with a black and white bodysuit and sheer tights. Not only did the Trendsetter model them, but she also proved that they’re easy to dance in while practicing with a crew behind her.

On her own Instagram feed, the Boston-born rap starlet posted a series of photos showing off her MSCHF shoes. At the same time, she thanked the Brooklyn Nets for having her at their game against the Philadelphia 76ers last night. See Coi’s Big Red Boots below, and let us know if you’ll be buying a pair later this month in the comments.
