In case you didn’t know, Lil Uzi Vert just announced their long-awaited new album The Pink Tape. The young star and “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker is following up three albums they released in 2020. Early that year they dropped the highly anticipated Eternal Atake. That was followed up by the shorter and more feature-heavy LUV vs. The World 2. And later in the year, they teamed up with Future for a collaborative album called Pluto x Baby Pluto. Now the follow-up is just a few days away and Uzi is celebrating.

Last night, Lil Uzi Vert hosted a party in anticipation of The Pink Tape‘s release later this week. In the aftermath of the party, photos emerged of Uzi hanging out with fellow singer and rapper Trippie Redd. The pair have teamed up on music at least once before. Uzi appears on the song “Holy Smokes” from Trippie’s 2021 album Trip At Knight. The pair also have some unreleased music that has leaked in the past.

Trippie Redd isn’t the only old friend that Lil Uzi Vert has reunited with recently. Yesterday an adorable new video emerged of Uzi running into interviewer Nardwuar. The pair did a timeless interview together back in 2018 that fans still reference and joke about. In the new video, they reunite to give each other hugs and express how much they’ve missed each other.

Lil Uzi Vert’s album announcement did draw most of the headlines but it wasn’t their only recent news. In a statement recently Uzi claimed they’re a better dresser than A$AP Rocky. The claim had fans online comparing Uzi’s fits to the notoriously fashionable rapper. The Pink Tape is set to be released on June 30th. The album has received a trailer and updated cover since its original announcement. Uzi also performed a song from the project at the BET Awards over the weekend. On Friday, Lil Uzi Vert will be dropping The Pink Tape. Fans are very excited to finally get to hear this project. So far, we have only gotten one single in the form of “Just Wanna Rock.” That said, there are supposed to be 26 tracks on this album, which means a ton of fresh new songs are on the horizon. Tyler, The Creator Shares Picture With ASAP Rocky At RZA’s 1st B-Day Party

Tyler, The Creator shared a photo of himself on Instagram with ASAP Rocky at the first birthday party of the rapper’s son, RZA. In doing so, he included the picture in a series of photos, one of which featured a letter he penned to reflect on the impact Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes have had on his artistry.

Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their first son, RZA, named after the Wu-Tang Clan legend, back in May 2022. Less than a year later, Rihanna confirmed the two are once again expecting after her appearance at the Super Bowl.

As for his comments on Pharrell and The Neptunes, Tyler reflected on the first time he heard “Frontin’.” “137th and Prairie, Hawthorne, CA. 2003. 6th grade. 12 years old,” he began. “Sam Goody had physical records and Kazza had mp3’s, but before the options of streaming we have now, there was this thing called Real Player. A few weeks before June 3rd, someone posted a link of FRONTIN’ from some dj radio show on the STAR TRAK message boards. a nice treat for me, given ive spent every dollar my mom could spare on any album that had Waters of Nazareth in the credits.”

43-Year-Old Remy Ma Says She’s 35, Claims She Doesn’t Count Prison Time

Remy Ma recently hosted a prohibition-themed birthday party, where she thanked guests for attending the event. “I appreciate all of you coming to my 35th birthday party,” the 43-year-old said, “I don’t f**king count the ones I was in prison and I don’t count the ones during COVID.” The artist was previously incarcerated for shooting a woman during a money dispute in Manhattan.

Her husband Papoose also recently celebrated her “35th” birthday, sharing a sweet Instagram post dedicated to his wife. Papoose wrote, “Happy born day to 1 of the best mothers/wives I know,” going on to call her “The Queen of all Queens.” He continued the post, “We too solid!! They can’t penetrate steel with wood babe.” Alongside the heartfelt caption, he also shared various photos of him and his wife with their children.

Remy Ma shared her thoughts recently on someone else’s prison time as well, Tory Lanez’. She explained feeling as though the public plays a major role in the verdicts of celebrity trials. “Coming from somebody who was on trial before, everything is never 100% on your side,” she wrote, “Each side is gonna bend s**t so that it goes to whatever caters to them. I just feel like lot of times, especially with celebrities, everybody go with who’s their favorite.”

Remy Ma also recently surprised Mary J. Blige during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. “You know how you meet somebody or aspire to meet somebody… sometimes, in this industry you meet them and they’re not really what you envisioned them to be?” she said, joined by her daughter. “Not only is she everything that I thought she would be, but she’s like past that.” She went on to say, “I think what she’s doing in her legacy is — I don’t even know she’s aware of how many people that she touched.”

Apparently, Chris Brown’s 34th birthday bash ended with violence, at least according to various online sources. Moreover, the R&B singer and his crew allegedly jumped Usher at the event, which is shocking considering their close relationship. While this story is unconfirmed and still mostly the result of gossip and speculation, there’s been no shortage of reports on it from all angles. Even though some people won’t believe it until they see video evidence, most others are wondering what went down. From what these stories indicate, it wasn’t a matter of personal beef but rather the result of defending a victim of Brown’s actions.

To elaborate, Usher threw Chris Brown a skate party for his big day, which also included guests like Mario, Bow Wow, and many more. However, at a certain point of the night, reportedly things got pretty heated as Brown was quite drunk. Not only that, but he was apparently being disrespectful to Teyana Taylor, approaching her in an intoxicated manner. CeeLo Green Falls Off Horse During Tribute Party To Shawty Lo

CeeLo Green hilariously fell off his horse during Wednesday’s (March 22) tribute party to late Atlanta legend Shawty Lo. While many might find it unfortunate that such a mishap occurred on a day of remembrance, people seemed more dedicated to celebrating his life through a good time. Moreover, CeeLo decided to show everyone up by arriving on horseback, and actually held his own for some time. However, then someone startled the horse, they took a tumble, and brought the Goodie Mob MC down with them. Radio personality Lil Bankhead of V-103 captured it all, but the crowd presumably kept enjoying what would’ve been Shawty’s 47th birthday.

Furthermore, the event took place at The BANK in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, and many other famous friends attended. For example, T.I. and DJ Street Greg were there, as were Lo’s D4L partners Fabo and Mook-B. Shawty Lo tragically passed away in 2016 after a single-car accident in Fulton County.
