Wiz Khalifa Reacts To The Notion That He “Fell Off”

Wiz Khalifa is an artist who has been around for a very long time at this point. Overall, he goes on sold-out tours and has gotten to perform with some legendary artists. However, there is this narrative that he has fallen off. He doesn’t have the same mainstream appeal he once had and fans have caught on to that. In his mind, he never did fall off. Instead, he believes people are just caught up in numbers and appearance. While on the Back On Figg podcast, he explained his thoughts on the matter.

“I think people are always gonna say that if you’re not right in their face, but if you look at what I do or the amount of shit that I put out or how constantly I’m working, you can’t say that,” Wiz said. “Even the old songs that I have, they’re still streaming, they’re still popular. The n****s who might have old songs, they can’t do those old songs right now.”

Wiz Khalifa Speaks

Subsequently, Wiz spoke on the phenomenon of big artists not being able to sell out their shows. Despite huge streaming numbers, Lil Baby has had a hard time getting an arena tour together. However, Wiz has been able to sell those out, even if he may not be dominating the charts. “They can’t sell tickets, they can’t go places across the world,” Wiz detailed. “So I’m still able to do those things and I’m still releasing newer music. So that’s not even possible to say that and be real about it. You can say it because that’s what you think, but if you add it up, it don’t make no sense.”

Wiz is still quite popular, and his fanbase shows out for him. For an artist to last a long time, you need those fans engaged, and Wiz has achieved that. GloRilla Blasts Twitter Hater Saying She Fell Off, Says She’s Not Going Anywhere

Femcees are at the top of the hip-hop game right now, with GloRilla being one of the biggest stars of the new wave. Between high-profile co-signs and performances, huge hits following “F.N.F.,” and a sought-after social media presence, she’s starting her career off with fireworks. Still, short-term memory loss is a very real thing online, and many believe that the Memphis rapper already fell off after a couple of months being a bit more under the radar. However, she’s not letting any of these assumptions define her right now, and she has no reason to. Moreover, the “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker recently clapped back at a hater on Twitter who thinks she’s done for.

“Glorilla, we will remember your run from May 2022 through September 2022 but it’s over,” the cynical listener wrote on the social media platform. In her response, Big Glo was quite blunt and direct, as she tends to be when dealing with trolls online. “I’ll never go nowhere & I’ll bet every dollar to your name,” she responded to this particular tweet. The industry can be pretty fickle, but probably not enough to stop the CMG signee in her tracks.

What’s more is that this commenter didn’t even time the tweet properly, because you can’t chastise her for a lack of effort. After all, GloRilla just appeared on the CMG compilation Gangsta Art 2 a couple of times, namely alongside Fivio Foreign on the track “Cha Cha Cha.” In fact, she’s been celebrating the drop on Twitter, engaging with fans that are loving the material and building up hype around it. After dominating on her own for a bit there, it’s exciting to hear the 24-year-old step into other artists’ spaces and vice versa to further develop her skills and repertoire.

Meanwhile, she’s always going to be one massive song away from recapturing the excitement behind her breakout onto the scene. Charisma, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to what made the music special will take Big Glo very far. All that’s left to see is how long it takes for the haters to hush up. On that note, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on GloRilla.

Meek Mill wants to know whether he “fell off.” The Philadelphia rapper asked fans for their honest opinions on the matter on Twitter, Wednesday. Meek described the move as a “social experiment.”

“Who think I fell off or don’t really think I got it with rapping anymore?….” Meek began in his tweet. “I’m fr I need answers and tell the truth I’m not taking it personal … I need to hear how people think before I do what I do! A social experiment! Answer if you a supporter of mines!”

Fans had mixed answers for Meek. One argued that he’s gotten lazy. They wrote: “@MeekMill is lazy now, probably have other personal things his focus on. The thing is are you going continue with rap on the old wave or are you going to adopt, to this new gen z music. You ready have to name, experience, the fans & billionaire’s friends. Leave a legacy.” A different user said that Meek has simply grown: “It’s all about growth my guy. To understand who don’t rock with you the same is to also understand that you’re not the same. In that sense you’ll never fall off. The ones who choose not to grow with you fall off.”

Others called on Meek to release more music to put the thought to rest. “Just stop the talk & drop. That’s how we ALL feel. We KNOW what you capable of. SHOW IT,” one fan replied. Another echoed similar sentiments: “You just gotta keep dropping albums in my opinion, with good rollouts, singles, videos and features.” Meek has yet to reply to any of the opinions.

CeeLo Green Falls Off Horse During Tribute Party To Shawty Lo

CeeLo Green hilariously fell off his horse during Wednesday’s (March 22) tribute party to late Atlanta legend Shawty Lo. While many might find it unfortunate that such a mishap occurred on a day of remembrance, people seemed more dedicated to celebrating his life through a good time. Moreover, CeeLo decided to show everyone up by arriving on horseback, and actually held his own for some time. However, then someone startled the horse, they took a tumble, and brought the Goodie Mob MC down with them. Radio personality Lil Bankhead of V-103 captured it all, but the crowd presumably kept enjoying what would’ve been Shawty’s 47th birthday.

Furthermore, the event took place at The BANK in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, and many other famous friends attended. For example, T.I. and DJ Street Greg were there, as were Lo’s D4L partners Fabo and Mook-B. Shawty Lo tragically passed away in 2016 after a single-car accident in Fulton County. His solo albums, such as Units in the City, contributed to his already impactful legacy as a member of ATL’s D4L. Their hit “Laffy Taffy” landed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006, and his solo track “Dey Know” made a big impact.

CeeLo Green Falls Off Horse

Tragically, CeeLo recently spoke on another close friend who left him far too soon: Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia. Moreover, he shared their last text message exchanges, which was an invitation for her and the rest of the rap group to be on his next Gnarls Barkley album. “I know you fought sis we love you unconditionally and we still gone ride for you baby boo,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Boo is my sister,” the 47-year-old expressed. “She a big Homegirl to my son he hurting we hurting! She is the queen a icon and innovator those that knew her knew that she was extremely intelligent. Hard ,real but sweet and kind at the same time. We #family round here! We all came up together and put the #south on our backs at the same time and took it to the top. I’m glad she got the opportunity to represent articulate and speak so well on all of the major platforms here recently and was given her flowers and she knew she was loved.” As always, come back to HNHH for the latest on CeeLo Green. Rest In Peace Shawty Lo, Rest In Peace Gangsta Boo.
