Quavo And Travis Scott Jokingly Sing National Anthem At Olympics: Watch

Quavo and Travis Scott felt patriotic on August 8. The rappers attended the basketball semifinals at the Paris Olympics, and decided to put their musical talents to use. Well, sort of. When it came time for the crowd to stand up and listen to the National Anthem, the rappers sprung into action. Instead of putting their hands over their respective chests, they got their phone out and sang. Quavo and Scott obviously had fun, but suffice to say, it wasn’t their strongest work.

Quavo and Travis Scott appeared to be standing court side during the National Anthem (no surprise there). What was surprising was how bad the two rappers sounded during their mock performance. It was obviously done jokingly, but man did they lean into the bit. Quavo was a little more reserved, since he was the one handling the phone, but Travis Scott really cut loose. Especially during the “banner give way” part of the song. The Houston rapper tilted his head back and gave the line everything he had. It’s hilarious.

Quavo And Travis Scott Attended U.S. Semifinals

Travis Scott’s attire also garnered attention online. The rapper was rocking a Sand Springs Public Schools letterman jacket during the semifinals game. Nobody was quite sure why, but Sand Springs social media capitalized on the free publicity by posting about it on Facebook. “Medals aren’t the only gold things at the Olympics today,” the organization stated. “Travis Scott was spotted at the France vs. Germany basketball game wearing the familiar black and gold of a Sand Springs letterman jacket.” For context, Sand Springs Public Schools is located in Oklahoma.

Quavo, meanwhile, has been more patriotic than ever. The rapper recently attended the campaign rally for Kamala Harris in his native Atlanta. He not only endorsed Harris as President, but spoke on the importance of gun control. “One thing I learned from working with Vice President Harris is she always stand on business,” Quavo explained the audience. “From inviting me to the White House last year to discuss these solutions, to passing the biggest gun safety laws today.” The Migos star is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming album. His latest single, “Fly,” which contains a sample of Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away,” is slated for release on August 9.

Lil Pump Claims He’s Leaving The U.S. If Kamala Harris Becomes President

Lil Pump is someone who’s certainly never shied away from putting his Donald Trump support on full display. In the past, the rapper has paid tribute to the former U.S. president with social media posts, hairstyles, and even a tattoo. Now, he’s hopped online to slam Kamala Harris, who’s running against Trump in this year’s election.

In a clip, he refers to Harris as a “st*pid a** b*tch,” and also insists that he’ll flee the country if she becomes president. While everyone’s entitled to their opinions, social media users agree that his stance on Harris is pretty intense. He even has a diss track about her at the ready, which he plans to drop on his own birthday later this month.

Lil Pump Slams Kamala Harris

At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly where Lil Pump plans to go if Harris gets elected. Reportedly, his parents are from Colombia, so perhaps he’d have better luck there. This is far from the first time Lil Pump has gone after Harris, however. Last month, he made some false statements about her racial background, insisting that she “isn’t Black.” He also put Megan Thee Stallion on blast earlier this month for performing at her Atlanta rally.

“Who tf performs at a kamal Harris rally,” he wrote. “She’s an embarrassment to the culture. This is an embarrassment to our country. Kamal Harris should’ve booked killer mike for the rally instead of Megan estallian. Kamala Harris needs Megan the stallion shaking a** to have people show up to her rally. Donald Trump needs himself to have people show up to his rally. One person is powered by the people, the other is powered by the establishment. Trump 2024.” What do you think of Lil Pump claiming that he’s leaving the country if Kamala Harris wins the election? Are you surprised or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Eminem Becomes Second Rapper To Pass 50 Billion Streams After Drake

Eminem is having a good year. The reception to his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady, has been strong. The rapper’s fun promo tour has appealed to fans who’ve long since given up on his non-Slim rebrand, and both helped him reach a major streaming milestone. The blog HipHopAllDay announced that Em has surpassed over 50 billion streams on Spotify. This makes Eminem the sixth most-streamed on the platform, and the second most-streamed rapper.

Eminem is in excellent company in terms of crossover success. The four non-hip-hop artists who are ahead of him include Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. The Detroit rapper is closing the gap on Beiber and Sheeran, though, who both have 54 billion streams. If Eminem continues to go strong, he could very well surpass The Weeknd’s 67 billion streams. Ironically, the only other rapper on the list is the artist who tops the list: Drake. The Toronto superstar has a staggering 101 billion streams, making him the only artist in history to cross the 100 billion mark.

Eminem Is Still The Best-Selling Rapper Of All Time

Eminem may be team Kendrick Lamar at the end of the day, but he has complimented Drake in the past. He said that he will always respect the rapper during a 2019 interview with Sway. “Drake will always be in my good graces,” he noted. “Because he did something for one of my daughters that I will never forget.” Eminem also predicted that the public would turn on Drake in the 2020 song “Zeus.” He was a few years early, but not incorrect. “Drake, they’re gonna turn on you (You) one day, too (Too),” Eminem raps. “And the more you win, the sooner (Sooner) they do/They’ll be calling you a trash bin.”

Drake may be winning the streaming game, but Eminem has him beat in album sales. The Detroit rapper remains the best-selling artist in the genre’s history. He’s moved over 220 million units since he debuted in 1996, which places him in the company of artists like Whitney Houston and the Rolling Stones. He was the best-selling artists of the 2000s, and the third best-selling artist of the 2010s. Drake, by comparison, has sold 170 million units since 2009. He has time to catch up, but there’s something to be said for the longevity and success that Eminem has maintained. He’s going to be a tough one to topple.

Tory Lanez Becomes The First Artist To Achieve This Impressive Streaming Feat

While Tory Lanez is currently behind bars for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, his music and fanbase are still as active as ever. Moreover, he recently dropped some new tracks for his die-hards to enjoy, “Know What You Need” and “Shots Come For Free,” after figuring out a way to record music from prison. But the Canadian artist is also seeing a lot of success with his previously released tracks, with his song “The Color Violet” marking a never-before-seen career feat. The record now has over 1 billion streams across all platforms, thus becoming the first song ever from any artist to do so with zero playlist support.

This description is a little vague, but we assume that it means that platforms like Spotify and Apple Music did not include “The Color Violet” on their curated, editorial, or official playlists. Tory Lanez should be very proud of this achievement, and very grateful to his fanbase for their support despite his actions. This news also arrives amid more curious and odd news concerning him, as his good friend Adin Ross suggested that he would ask Donald Trump to pardon him and set him free if he’s elected.

Tory Lanez’s “The Color Violet” Is The First Of Its Kind In The Streaming World

Elsewhere, Tory Lanez also told Adin Ross via a phone call that he graduated high school while incarcerated and enrolled in college. “I’m great,” he expressed. “I know that a lot of people sometimes when they hear prison or they hear somebody’s down, they think n***as in the corner somewhere bawling his eyes out,” remarking on his “great space” mentally and “bettering [himself] in every single way.”

“A n***a just graduated high school, enrolled in college,” Tory Lanez added. “Never thought I’d do that. But I’m taking this moment and I’m taking advantage over everything that’s good. I’m a f***ing high school dropout that just graduated high school. That s**t matters to me. So, it’s the small things that just have me feeling good about life right now.” There’s still a lot of baggage left over from the Megan Thee Stallion case, but it’s clear that this singular moment will not define his life and career, regardless of whether you support him, like his art, or not.

Consequence Blasts Kanye West’s Dentist Amid Nitrous Addiction Allegations

Earlier this week, Kanye West’s former Chief of Staff Milo Yiannopoulos made some shocking claims about the rapper’s dentist in an affidavit. He accused the dentist, Thomas P. Connelly, of providing Ye with “enormous quantities of nitrous gas” for “explicitly recreational use.” Yiannopoulos expressed concern for the artist’s well-being, citing his alleged dependence on the substance.

For obvious reasons, fans quickly became worried. This morning, #SaveYe was even trending on X, suggesting that supporters think there could be a real problem. This is still unconfirmed, but now, his peers are even beginning to chime in. Today, for example, Consequence took to Instagram to share an old clip of his studio session with Ye and Timbaland.

Consequence Reacts To Milo Yiannopoulos’ Claims About Kanye West’s Alleged Nitrous Addiction

“G.O.O.D. things come To those who wait,” he captioned the post. “Me and YE in @Timbaland studio cooking up what would be my next single ‘Overdose’ featuring @YNWMelly THIS FRIDAY 08.09.24. By The Way F*ck Thomas Connelly If That Sh*t Is True!!!” Ye himself has yet to address the speculation, though another one of his affiliates did earlier today. In a since-deleted post, YesJulz slammed Yiannopoulos for his claims, alleging that he was the one to connect Ye with Connelly in the first place.

Who suggested for him to get the grill in the first place? When [they told me] to book the appointment I expressed my concerns & pushed back twice asking if he [for] sure wanted to do it. I was told that the decision was made,” she wrote. “As your b***h a** & the rest of the world knows, I was let go shortly after bc you couldn’t stand to see genuine people with innovative ideas & real work ethic around.” Connelly has denied the allegations. What do you think of Milo Yiannopoulos accusing Kanye West’s dentist of supplying him with nitrous gas? What about Consequence’s reaction to the allegations? Ben Crump Issues Statement on Reintroduction of George Floyd Justice in Policing Act

Ben Crump to Announce Lawsuit Against FL Gov. Ron DeSantis Over AP African American Studies Course

Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump has issued a statement following the reintroduction of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act in the United States Congress. The death of Sonya Massey has underscored the persistent issues with police conduct in America, even after George Floyd’s tragic death.

On July 6, Deputy Sean Grayson shot Sonya Massey in the face, killing the 36-year-old unarmed woman who had called the police to report a suspected intruder in her home. Grayson has since been indicted and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct.

Crump’s statement calls for urgent action and reform, emphasizing the need for comprehensive measures to address police misconduct and ensure justice for victims like Sonya Massey. The reintroduction of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act aims to implement critical changes to policing practices and accountability nationwide.

“As the George Floyd Policing Act is reintroduced to Congress, we stand at a crucial juncture in our nation’s history. This legislation represents a significant step towards addressing systemic racism and ensuring accountability in law enforcement. The tragic loss of George Floyd and countless others, including Sonya Massey, who was unjustly killed by police in her own home, must not be in vain.

“It is imperative that we honor their memories by enacting meaningful reforms. This act aims to enhance transparency, implement stronger standards for police conduct, and ultimately build a safer and more just society for all Americans. I urge our lawmakers to come together, transcend partisan divides, and pass this essential legislation. The time for action is now.”

TI’s Atlanta Arrest May Not Have Been A Case Of Mistaken Identity

Earlier this month, TI’s trip to an Atlanta airport took a bizarre turn, as he was mistaken for a man wanted for stalking and domestic violence. Reportedly, law enforcement responded to an active warrant from Baltimore for Clifford Harris, which is TI’s government name. He was arrested and taken to Clayton County jail, though his attorney got him out within hours.

“This case highlights a concern that the State’s Attorney has raised previously and uncovers legislative changes that should be considered to ensure fair and appropriate use of the court commissioner’s office, including allowing input from our prosecutors before an arrest warrant is issued,” a spokesperson for the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office said of the debacle. “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the issuance of charges and the warrant in this case.”

New Details Of TI’s Arrest Revealed

Now, however, a new report by The Baltimore Banner suggests that this may not have been a case of mistaken identity after all. Aside from TI’s full government name, the woman wrote his birth date in court documents, accusing him and his wife of harassment. “I was hit and beat up punched, stalked and harassed me on the dates I gave,” Crystal Gorham Gorham wrote. “I was threatened to be murdered by this individual.”

This isn’t the only legal situation TI has been dealing with as of late, however. In July, he and his wife Tiny filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by an anonymous woman. She accuses them of drugging and assaulting her. They deny the allegations, and argued that “the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired.” What do you think of TI getting arrested earlier this month? YesJulz Accuses Milo Yiannopoulos Of Reaching Out To Kanye West’s Dentist Himself

Kanye West’s alleged nitrous oxide addiction, as claimed by his former Yeezy chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, shocked his fanbase this week. Moreover, Yiannopoulos filed an affidavit and complaint against celebrity dentist Thomas P. Connelly, accusing him of engaging in “the unlawful supply of enormous quantities of nitrous gas to a wealthy, famous patient for explicitly recreational use” after installing Ye’s titanium grill. In addition, the former chief of staff claimed that Connelly hired someone to physically attack him. But another affiliate of the Chicago artist’s, YesJulz, fired back against Yiannopoulos’ claims on Twitter after the legal paperwork mentioned her, accusing him of connecting Kanye to Connelly in the first place.

“Riddle me this hero,” YesJulz’s seemingly since-deleted accusation against Milo Yiannopoulos began concerning Kanye West’s alleged nitrous gas addiction. “Who suggested for him to get the grill in the first place? When [they told me] to book the appointment I expressed my concerns & pushed back twice asking if he [for] sure wanted to do it. I was told that the decision was made. He was sure it was what he wanted and to do not question it again.

“As your b***h a** & the rest of the world knows, I was let go shortly after bc you couldn’t stand to see genuine people with innovative ideas & real work ethic around,” YesJulz continued concerning Kanye West and Milo Yiannopoulos. “Firing staff isn’t as hard of a job as you make it out to be babes. It also doesn’t really help the company much if you are simultaneously overpaying yourself and, according to Ye & other team members, allegedly stealing while doing so. I wasn’t around to even know whether or not your claims about addiction were real – let alone be in a position where I could actually help IF that were the case.

“YOU made sure of that bc you knew the last time a plot like this was unfolding, I was there and actually did something about it,” she concluded about this Kanye West situation. “But YOU were there. & so was your partner in crime. I am going to say this for the last time, keep my name out of your disgusting, trifling, lying, theiving a** mouth & move on… Are you even a US resident? How are u still here without a job or an American spouse? So many questions. I know the answers. Your clock is ticking b***h.” YesJulz also demanded that Yiannopoulos remove her name from future legal moves, shared alleged messages of him using racial slurs, and accused him of harassment and trying to have her children seized from her.
