Cardi B and Offset have created a luxurious life that many others envy since first collaborating on “Lick,” but now, it seems that’s all coming to an end. We’ve previously seen the couple at odds due to the Atlanta native’s infidelity, but they were thankfully able to patch up issues that nearly led to a divorce. After losing Takeoff in late 2022, things have been particularly difficult for Set, seemingly leading to tension between him and his other half.

Because their drama began to unfold around the same time that Nicki Minaj began her Pink Friday 2 rollout, Barbz believe the “Clout” rappers are taking the opportunity to steal the spotlight from the Queen of Rap. However, weeks after the album’s drop, Bardi and her husband continue to spend time apart. Both are making major changes to their appearance, such as the new dermal piercing the father of five is sporting in the video below.

Antonio Brown had a bone to pick this holiday season, as he just unleashed some attacks against football legend Michael Irvin. Of course, this might just be because the former wide receiver and now commentator has often spoken out about his antics, behavior, game, and general place within or outside of the NFL. Still, there doesn’t really seem to be much of a news item attached here other than Irvin’s recent list of the greatest wide receivers in league history. As you probably guessed, he left off Brown, which prompted him to get scandalous and homophobic in response. It’s just the latest addition in his long series of wild statements and claims.

“Sleeping at the top with Nightmares at the bottom,” Antonio Brown tweeted recently, starting off his tirade with what sounds like a bar. “Everybody want to be fly Until you swat em. Michael Irvin stay off the cocaine I got way more stats than you f***ot. You from Broward not Miami we slap the s**t your old a**. Merry chrisma PlayerHater.” At least he didn’t namedrop Keke Palmer this time, or invoke any other wild celebrity takes or attitudes in this instance.

Antonio Brown Goes Off On Michael Irvin

In other news, Michael Irvin is too preoccupied with his commentary endeavors to pay this much mind, although that’s exactly the avenue that might prompt him to respond. In addition, he’s also quite busy with parenting, but that’s more of a comical relationship if you go off of recent headlines. For example, the Cowboys legend recently clowned his son’s rap career, joking that he’s trying to flex while having grown up in a gated community. Not exactly the most supportive of statements, but at least it seemed in good fun.

Meanwhile, there’s no telling what AB will say or do next, whether it’s about the NFL or his personal life. Hopefully he’s able to find some stability and happiness and this isn’t the result of wider issues or unresolved conflicts. T.D. Jakes Dismisses Diddy Rumors During Christmas Eve Sermon

American pastor T.D. Jakes has vehemently dismissed rumors that he has any connection to Diddy. “I will not use this sacred day and this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have the chance to preach the truth,” Jakes said at the start of his Christmas Eve sermon.

This comes after Jakes’ team vehemently denied the reports. Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless. What has always been true, in the words of the late Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon, ‘If you want the truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it,’” the executive of public relations for Jakes’ church network said earlier in the week.

Has Diddy Been Cursed?

Meanwhile, resurfaced photos of Diddy‘s full-back tattoo of the Haitian spirit Ezili Dantor have led to wild speculation online. Many have theorized that Diddy’s recent legal troubles are a result of angering the Vodou spirit, which represents the divinity of love but has also been likened to an “angry mother” by some anthropologists. Due to Diddy’s alleged victims being women and children, some believe that Ezili Dantor is working against the Bad Boy Records founder as a form of retribution.

There are now four lawsuits out against Diddy, with one settled. The accusations against Diddy have been growing increasingly disturbing. Both the third and fourth lawsuits alleged rape against the Bad Boy Records founder. The third suit, filed late on Thanksgiving, stems back to the late 90s. In the suit, the anonymous woman claims she went on a date with him in 1991 while attending Syracuse. However, she alleges that Diddy drugged her during dinner, before filming them while he raped her. Furthermore, she claims that she was later made aware that the video of the assault had been shown to and viewed by multiple people.

Wizkid Wows On Our New “R&B Season” Playlist Update: Stream

We’re pretty deep into the holiday season, and as you may have noticed, the new music release schedule is looking quite scant these days. Rather than promote new work or perform, artists would rather relax with their loved ones, take a nice break, and allow people to do the same without missing out on any big drops. Still, there are a couple of new songs and projects to sink your teeth into that we couldn’t help but shout out. On this new R&B Season update, we took a look at the few but fulfilling releases within and adjacent to the genre this week. Turns out that even amid a slower season, there are always plenty of gems to find in the music world.

Leading the way this season is Wizkid’s new four-track EP, S2, which is another helping of his Afrobeat waviness. Moreover, there are two specific cuts from this brief collection that were particularly refreshing and enjoyable for (hopefully) your days off. One is the Zlatan-assisted “IDK,” which brings some crisp percussion, well-contrasted vocal performances, and gorgeous backing harmonies to compliment the melodies. The other, “Ololufe” with Wande Coal, is more of a dancehall-inspired cut with more club flair, watery synthesizers, and shuffling beats to vibe out to.

HNHH R&B Season Playlist: Stream

Next on R&B Season is the new single from SAFE: the sultry, slow-burning, and infectiously atmospheric “ttuctmd.” This is a track that fits much more snugly into these wintery months with its restrained vocals, woozy synthesizers, and minimal production. However, there’s a Jersey club flip at one point that injects the song with some brief revitalizing energy before slipping right back into its cloudy soundscape. Given how subtly the Toronto artist was able to switch between these appeals, we can’t wait to see what else he does to develop this skill.

Finally, we want to highlight the new song from Nic Dean, as “Withdrawal” is a similarly hazy but much more dramatic offering. With cavernous drums and wailing synth pads, it’s a fitting single to lose yourself in and become fully immersed in its emotional pallet. Future Teases Metro Boomin Collab Album Yet Again, Acknowledges Long Wait

One of the most anticipated projects of 2024 is hands-down Future and Metro Boomin’s long-awaited collaborative album. Although the two trap icons have an avalanche of material together, it’s going to be very exciting to see them team up for a full LP. Moreover, Hendrix recently took to his Instagram Story to repost a recall of one of his earlier tweets back in May of this year which teased the release. With that, and by saying that the “album [is] on the way,” he seemed to acknowledge that it’s been a long, long wait up until this point. However, given that Pluto is teasing this and not Metro, who usually takes up audience hype duties, this is a pretty promising “update.”

Of course, at this point, all we can really do is wait until it releases, as Future and Metro Boomin have had this in the cards for a while now. Still, recent rumors of bad blood within this camp might affect fan perception of this album, given the spicy narrative. As the producer and Drake are seemingly in a cold war, many folks have theorized how frequent and downright classic collaborators of both, those being the DS2 pioneer and 21 S*vage, are reacting to this. It’s a difficult position to be in, which puts the “truth” behind this speculation more in doubt.

Future Says Metro Boomin Collab Album Is Coming Soon

Other developments that fueled excitement for this album include Metro Boomin’s recent comments on his recording process with Future. Apparently, he doesn’t let him skip on any beats he brought to the table, emphasizing that even if he doesn’t like it at first, he at least has to try. It’s a very interesting revelation, but one that clearly leads to a lot of gems and amazing moments. For example, the beat on “I Serve the Base” off DS2 is forward-thinkingly distorted and aggressive, which wasn’t really the vibe that Fewtch was on during this era. Today, many fans might consider it one of that tape’s best highlights.

However, few of them are making bold statements with their outfits the way Cardi B has since her come-up. Interestingly, her “MotorSport” collaborator Nicki Minaj seems to think the New Yorker is taking one too many pages from her book. For her latest transformation, Bardi swapped out her signature jet black hair for a long, platinum blonde wig, which she paired with a stunning white fur coat to film a clip for Instagram earlier this weekend.

Before long, the Barbz and even Minaj pointed out that the Queen of Rap previously stepped out in a similar style. “B**ches Jackin. I’m still Queenin,” she wrote in her caption on Saturday (December 23). In both photos, the mother of one’s hair sits in a shoulder-length 613 style, bringing out the golden tones in her complexion more than usual. Of course, Nicki isn’t the first lyricist to style herself like this either, but her fans seem to enjoy stressing Cardi out by drawing comparisons between the two women.

Bandhunta Izzy’s Brother Killed In Baltimore Shooting

Bandhunta Jugg, the brother of Bandhunta Izzy, has reportedly been killed in a shooting in western Baltimore. Jugg was named as one of five victims in an early morning shooting in the neighborhood of Woodlawn. Jugg was the only deceased victim, with the other four victims being transferred to hospital.

“Our detectives are trying to ascertain what exactly transpired here before officers arrived. I believe the white vehicle is what the victims were sitting in at the time. I don’t necessarily know where all the victims were, but I do know this vehicle was involved. [Detectives] are working with local businesses to get all surveillance footage that’s available that may have captured this incident and the suspects responsible for this,” a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson told reporters.

Tributes Pour In For Bandhunta Jugg

As the news of Jugg’s death broke, tributes poured in for the late rapper. The most emotional tribute came in from Jugg’s partner. “My handsome boy. You are my everything, i will forever love u past measures and i am so grateful to have experienced unconditional love from you. i will accomplish everything we discussed and i will always make sure ur name lives on. i have came to peace knowing that you will always be with me no matter what.
