Beyonce’s NYFW Outfit Sets The Tone For “Act II,” Tina Knowles Hilariously Side-Eyes Cameras

When Beyonce pulled up to the annual Grammy Awards in cowboy couture to support her husband, Jay-Z, it’s safe to say the masses were confused. All through her RENAISSANCE era, the more of three wore lavish, over-the-top, avant-garde gowns that reflected the glamorous disco themes throughout her award-winning album. Now that she’s confirmed the album’s second act will arrive at the end of March, and will be a country project, we’re expecting to see Bey channel the best of the Wild Wild West more frequently throughout the final weeks of winter.

She didn’t disappoint when stepping out for the LUAR runway presentation during New York Fashion Week, as USA Today reports. The “Baby Boy” hitmaker surprised everyone by sitting in the front row on Tuesday (February 13) evening, just days after dropping “16 CARRIAGES” and “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” to introduce what her upcoming release will sound like. Her outfit was mostly silver, consisting of a bejeweled blazer dress, a head covering full of flashy gems, Mary J. Blige-esque thigh-high boots, and of course, her new signature cowboy hat.

ICYMI: LA Native YG Took New York Fashion Week By Storm

Rapper YG came to the east coast and showed out during New York Fashion Week. Sporting dope upscale looks, the west coast native kicked off the week by attending the Palomo Spain SS24 Runway Eckhaus Latta Show, held at the renowned Rockefeller Plaza. He later joined the festivities at the highly-exclusive CR x Dundas New York Fashion Week afterparty, hosted at the iconic Casa Cipriani in New York City. 

The following day, YG made an appearance at the Phillip Lim SS24 Fashion Show and that evening he attended and performed at the highly-exclusive Flaunt Afterparty located at the glamorous Ned NoMad Hotel. The star-studded event welcomed the grammy-nominated artist as he sported a cool leather ensemble by Jean Paul Gautier. On Tuesday the 12th, YG attended the GQ X Christian Louboutin Runway Show and on Wednesday the 13th he wrapped up his NYFW appearances by walking at the Willy Chavarria SS24 Show before performing at the Willy Chavarria afterparty.

Gunna Stunts Front Row At New York Fashion Week In Stylish Black & White Fit

The conversation around Gunna’s alleged snitching isn’t over, but there’s no one less fazed by it than Wunna himself. Moreover, he came back to his career this year following his December release from jail, where he served time for YSL’s RICO case. Now, after a sold-out New York show and a lot of fan acclaim for his new album, the rapper seems more comfortable than ever with popping outside. Not only that, but this heightened profile paired with some of his biggest commercial success to date. The College Park MC’s track “fukumean” recently beat out Drake’s “Search & Rescue” as the most streamed hip-hop song of 2023 in the U.S.

Furthermore, it seems that he wanted to show off his fit and look at other great ones to celebrate. Gunna recently attended the Luar fashion show for New York Fashion Week in the city this week, and looked dapper as ever while doing so. His look combined a lot of blacks and whites, from the top of his beanie all the way down to his kicks. Even if the 30-year-old’s career isn’t what it used to be, it’s far too early and successful right now to predict whether it’ll be even bigger than it ever was in the future.

Gunna Drips, Never Drowns, When He Hits Up NYFW

What’s more is that, when it comes to that “snitching” conversation, people close to both him and Young Thug have denied any bad blood. For example, Thugger’s father remarked during an interview with Infamous Sylvia that his Drip or Drown protégé is all good with them. “I love Gunna,” Jeffery Williams Sr. stated, further addressing the actual implications of his plea deal in the case. “Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case. Period.”

Meanwhile, this is a conversation that the “turned your back” spitter wants to lay to rest, too. During his recent concert, he gave a birthday shoutout to King Slime and called for his freedom with his stage design. Videos Of Ice Spice Performing During New York Fashion Week Emerge

Ice Spice has had a busy few weeks in the public eye. Earlier this week she was in attendance at the MTV Video Music Awards where she had a big night. She took home the fan-voted Best New Artist Award beating out other breakthrough stars like Peso Pluma and Renee Rapp. She was also seated next to Taylor Swift all night and found herself on camera often as the “Anti-Hero” singer took home awards all night. Even just a picture of the pair caught the rapper’s attention when she made a tweet about her own body surprising her.

Last week, Ice Spice was in attendance at New York Fashion Week. Pictures made the rounds of the rapper hanging out with Kali Uchis and Coi Leray, though fans couldn’t help but notice she wasn’t paying Coi much attention. Turns out, she also got the chance to perform during the week’s events. Earlier today videos of the rapper playing a show sponsored by Bose started making the rounds. In the clip she’s sporting an adorable outfit. She paired white knee-high, socks with a matching pink crop top and skirt set. Ice Spice has a new collaboration with Dunkin Donuts that fans find absolutely hilarious. Earlier this week she shared an elaborate 80-Carat Dunkin Donuts chain that she had made for the collab with fans online. Just a few days later she teamed up with Ben Affleck for the next step in her promotional campaign. Affleck has appeared in numerous commercials for the company already.

Ice Spice cemented her breakthrough 2023 with the release of her Like… EP Deluxe Edition. One of the extra songs was “Deli” which has become her most recent Hot 100 hit in a year packed full of them. Another duo that’s making headlines is Pardison Fontaine and Jada Kingdom, who seemingly confirmed their relationship.

The Shade Room has been hinting at a romance blossoming between the two since spotting Fontaine’s jewellery in the Jamaican’s birthday photo dump earlier this month. Kingdom left a comment on one of the posts to address the rumours. While she didn’t specifically claim the lyricist as her man, she did make it known that she’s already grown tired of her love life being the talk of the town. Regardless, when the “D**kmatized” hitmaker stepped out with Pardi during NYFW, the latest photos of them became the centre of public discourse.

An unexpected twist happened where Lola Brooke fell off the stage during her performance, however she got right back up. The moment showcased Lola’s resilience and professionalism, as she continued to perform and even made light of the moment with the audience.

Caught on camera, Lola can be seen confidently walking towards the crowd. It was then that she misstepped and teetered of the side of the stage. She was in the midst of performing her hit song “Make Me Feel Good.” Subsequently, she momentarily misjudged her steps and almost disappeared into the midst of the crowd. The audience helped her get back on stage, and she resumed the performance like nothing happened.

Ice Spice linked up with both Coi Leray and Kali Uchis during New York Fashion Week. The three artists all sat front row for Dion Lee during an event on Saturday night. Afterward, they shared pictures from the meet-up on social media. Diplo and Lourdes Leon were also in attendance.

“Me and @icespicee_ hair colors,” Coi Leray captioned a photo of herself and the New York rapper. She added several heart eyes emojis. Ice Spice also shared a series of pics from the night on Instagram, one of which features Kalis Uchis. Ice Spice has been in the midst of a huge year for her career. After blowing up in 2022, following the success of “Munch (Feelin’ U),” she’s continued to dominate headlines in 2023. Back in May, she graced the stage alongside Taylor Swift at one of the singer’s concerts on her Eras Tour. “I was like, ‘You f— with my project? Like, what?’” Ice Spice told The Guardian when asked about how their relationship came together. “She’s so sweet — I was so obsessed with how humble she was and willing to work. After recovering from the wild ride that is summer/music festival season, many of our favourite fashionistas are currently spending their September in New York City for another season of Fashion Week presentations. There appears to be a broad mix of recording artists, actresses, socialites, and internet personalities nabbing front-row seats at some of the biggest brands’ events. Among them are Ice Spice and Julia Fox.

Both women have obviously become known for turning heads with their outfits throughout their rise to fame. The rap diva chiefly prefers booty-baring mini skirts and showing her panty. Fox tends to explore more avant-garde style choices, such as the heart-shaped nipple pasties she rocked around the Big Apple on Friday (September 8). The Uncut Gems actress styled her long, red hair in two braids, complete with pretty black bows, almost emulating shirt sleeves running down her chest.

Fox has been redefining her status as a style icon for the past few days, wearing everything from fairy wings to a two-piece set covered in watches.

Lil Kim’s Daughter Hits The Runway At New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is in full swing but one of the people making the biggest headlines is also one of the youngest attendees. Royal Reign, the nine-year-old daughter of Lil Kim, is garnering widespread praise for her appearance on the runway. Royal made an appearance at the 13th Annual Rookie USA Fashion Show earlier this week. Other famous faces included Ice-T’s daughter Chanel and Chanel Iman’s daughters Cali and Cassie. Kim shared several shots of her daughter, including a black and white tracksuit look that inspired some serious deja vu. Elsewhere, Kim showed off her daughter in a white-and-purple Jordan jersey.

“I’m such a stage mom. My baby killed it. I’m sooo proud of her!!!” the 49-year-old rapper wrote on Instagram. It’s something of a full circle for the mother and daughter. Back in 2014, it was an appearance at New York Fashion Week that revealed to the world that Lil Kim was pregnant. “My little boo boo is coming! My little baby boo my sunshine!” Kim told E! News at the time. It’s not the first time that Royal has found the spotlight this year, however. Back in June, she was spotted taking in a Saucy Santana concert during Hollywood Pride.

However, the attention on her daughter is likely a breath of fresh air for Lil Kim, who has not had the best week. Kim was recruited by Ebony as the anchor of their Hip Hop 50 feature and was shot in a gorgeous satin gown. However, fans immediately noticed that Kim had been subjected to some poorly implemented Photoshop or similar editing.

“The entire staff deserves JAIL,” one irate fan wrote on social media, which was a good summary of the backlash the feature received. “More like Kim Jong Un,” another remarked. “Lil Kim looks like a Sims character,” joked another. “This is egregious. Why is Kim looking like she’s been generated by AI,” lamented someone else. As mentioned, it’s likely that with so much backlash to her Ebony feature, Kim will much likely prefer putting her energy into supporting her daughter’s runway debut.
