Wendy Willians Ices Out Fan Attempting To Help Her Walk
It’s a common occurrence to run into celebrities from all walks of life throughout New York City. This is something one social media user, Queen Nurys, knows all too well. Judging by her viral posts, the woman seeks out well-known names as she treks through the city for photo ops. Most even seem to welcome Nurys with open arms as she records their public encounters. Her recent chance meeting with Wendy Williams, however, didn’t go exactly as she’d planned it to.
In one of Nurys’ latest TikTok clips, Wendy Williams can be seen exiting her SUV in the bustling city. Though the 58-year-old was recently quoted saying she has “the mind and body of a 25-year-old,” this didn’t stop her from demanding assistance getting onto the sidewalk. “I’m going,” the controversial TV host announces, proceeding to point to the ground. “Somebody help me.” While it’s not clear if anyone came to her aide at first, Queen Nury goes on to show her own attempt moments later. The woman extends her phone-less hand to the former radio personality, to which she responds with an icy “Oh no.”
Wendy Williams Blocks Fan’s Attempt To Assist Her
”I tried to help her but she had a nasty attitude like wtf,” Nurys wrote into the clip. The run-in, which has since amassed over 1.7 million views, saw a legion of fans coming to Wendy Williams’ defense. Many made a point that Queen Nury’s gesture seemed insincere, following her trend of finding stars for likes. “The gaslighting is real,” one user began. “Imagine being in a vulnerable state, needing help but the only person with a hand out is ready to tell the world they did a good deed.” Nurys says she was simply a fan of The Wendy Williams Show and was going to ask her for a selfie.
Regardless if the gesture was genuine or not, it was a clear response to Williams’ ongoing health battles. The longtime tea-spiller was documented leaving a rehab facility in October 2022 following her show’s end. Though Wendy Williams struggles with Graves’ Disease, she confirms she’s feeling “better than ever.” Her and publicist Shawn Zanotti have also confirmed future projects in the works, including an upcoming podcast.
Jadakiss Praises New LOX Mural In New York
Jadakiss and The LOX have been receiving their flowers from many over the past few years. The iconic New York rap trio has aged gracefully since their reign in the early 2000s. People have taken notice of that, including hip-hop stars of today’s era. One of the first instances of this was Kanye West. In 2021, he included the group on his “Jesus Lord” track off Donda. Including The LOX during such a huge moment of his career truly showed how much Ye loved the trio.
Another recent instance of this was when DJ Khaled added a “Jadakiss Interlude” on his recent studio album GOD DID. The August 2022 project was also accompanied by a music video for “Jadakiss Interlude.” This was another great demonstration of appreciation for Jada and his group’s impact. Additionally, The LOX got their proper praise during their Verzuz battle with DipSet. General consensus says The LOX won the battle, which took place in August 2021. Even DipSet’s Juelz Santana came out and said The LOX was victorious.
Jadakiss Loves It
With all this love going around lately, an NYC painter found another opportunity to honor The LOX. On Thursday (Feb. 16), Andaluz The Artist debuted his LOX mural near a Whitecastle restaurant in The Bronx. This mural is the first piece of his collection that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. “First mural of 2023 is finally finished. In dedication of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. Wanted to give @sheeklouch @stylesp @jadakiss and @thelox their flowers. I grew up listening to these guys so I’m honored to have painted this wall,” he wrote on Instagram.
The next morning (Feb. 17), Jadakiss was able to get a look at the mural. Although it could only be on FaceTime because he is currently on tour, Jada was blown away. “That sh*t is mean!” you could hear Jada say about the neon-accented wall art. The tour Jada is out of town for includes the likes of Jeezy, T.I., Rick Ross, Gucci Mane 2 Chainz and more. A “reloaded” version the “Legendz of the Streetz” tour that originally took place in late 2022, their latest stop was Feb. 18 in Birmingham, AL. So, whether it be on the road or in his neighborhood back home, Jada and his legendary rap group still have dedicated fans.

Kyrie Irving Roasted By NYC Mayor Eric Adams
Kyrie Irving will no longer be a member of the Brooklyn Nets moving forward. On Sunday, Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster move that will shake up the league. Overall, this move is something the Nets were forced into as Kyrie decided to request a trade. Of course, the team had little to no interest in fighting him, so they just made a deal as quickly as possible. Subsequently, they could be at risk of losing Kevin Durant, who won’t put with mediocrity for long.
As for Kyrie, he certainly built up his fair share of enemies while in Brooklyn. Although Kyrie didn’t pay much attention to this, there is no doubt that his foes were watching intently. One of these enemies was none other than New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Adams is the one who implemented the vaccine mandates, which subsequently led to Kyrie sitting out for home games last season. Interestingly enough, now that Kyrie is off of the team, Adams is still going after the point guard.
Kyrie Irving Called Out
During a recent interview on Spectrum News in New York, Adams got very honest about his thoughts toward Kyrie. Simply put, he believes the NBA superstar was not good for the Nets locker room. Consequently, he thinks that the trade was good for the team, moving forward. “I will find the team that beats us the most and send him to that team, because then we’ll start beating that team,” Adams said Monday. “It’s about synergy in energy. No matter how much talent you have, your ability to interact with your colleagues is more important. One player can bring down the synergy of the team. And so I would send him to the team that beats us the most so we can start winning better.”
Overall, these are some pretty harsh comments. However, it is clear that many New Yorkers feel this way right now. Moving forward, Kyrie will have to make it work with Luka Doncic, and there is no guarantee that will happen. Hopefully, he is able to change the various narratives surrounding his name. Like many NBA players, Ben Simmons isn’t just known for his work on the court – his love life also keeps him in the news near-constantly. As you may recall, the 26-year-old was previously engaged to English TV host Maya Jama after a whirlwind romance. Things between them, unfortunately, didn’t end as expected. Recently, the athlete took legal action to have the ring he proposed to his ex with returned.
Upon receiving the demand letter, the brunette beauty’s team says she was shocked, but happy to comply with the request. It remains unclear if she’s been seeing anyone else in between her hosting duties on Love Island. However, we do know that Simmons seems to have moved on. According to Page Six, he was out in New York City with a certain actress earlier this weekend.
The Brooklyn Nets player and 33-year-old Eiza González were photographed in the Big Apple on Friday (February 3). Apparently, they’ve been seeing one another on the low for months. “They’ve been hiding and trying not to get seen [together],” an insider tells the outlet.
During their date night, the rumoured couple were photographed leaving Manhattan’s Bondst restaurant. It’s a high-end sushi place, and the pair are said to have dined alongside “a group of friends.” A source notes that “They weren’t alone [for the dinner], but they are very clearly together.”

The images taken don’t show any PDA between the two, but they allegedly went back to Simmons’ place together afterward. It remains unclear if she spent the night, or how serious the couple considers their union to be at this time. The baller clearly has a type, as he’s been involved with plenty of dark-haired beauties in the past.
He previously dated Kendall Jenner for two years, from 2017 to 2019. Their romance was inconsistent in nature, and the model eventually moved on with Devin Booker, who she’s also no longer with. Yet another starlet who once was seeing Simmons is 333 singer, Tinashe.

Julia Fox Responds To NYC Apartment Tour Backlash
Thanks to social media, celebrities are able to share more intimate content with their fanbase than ever before. Those who live in luxurious abodes often wind up sharing their homes on the cover of Architectural Digest. However, Julia Fox chose to stay true to her brand by showing off her modest New York City apartment on TikTok.
Last week, the Italian starlet uploaded a video breaking down the layout of the home she shares with her 2-year-old son, Valentino. She reveals that she turned her living room into a bedroom, and converted her closet into a playspace for her beloved little boy.

Fox also didn’t hesitate to point out any of the mess and clutter surrounding her. There was a collection of shoe boxes in her kitchen, and a mouse responsible for picking up crumbs. While many praised the Uncut Gems actress for being “real” and “humble,” the TikTok obviously didn’t come without its share of criticism.
Yesterday (January 30), the Forbidden Fruits podcast host responded to a comment inquiring why she lives in such a modest apartment if her net worth is allegedly $30 million. “Even though I could have probably afforded a bigger place — probably, ’cause I am in New York after all — you know, it’s about having that sense of normalcy for Valentino,” she explained.
“I don’t want him to grow up and be, like, a f*cking prick,” she went on. Fox also noted that she grew up in a one-bedroom in Italy before moving to Manhattan at age six. Because she “grew up in the real world,” she hopes that her only child will have a similar experience.
The 32-year-old also addressed the rumours regarding her net worth. “First of all, I’m not worth $30 million. Not even close. And second of all, I don’t give a f*ck because I don’t need $30 million,” she told the camera. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. All those celebrity net worth [websites] are complete BS.”
In the past, some haters have accused Fox of spending thousands of dollars on her unique designer wardrobe. She later brought this up in the same video, explaining that the pieces she wears are often borrowed couture. Many also come from young designers on the rise.
When reflecting on the response to her NYC abode, she said, “I got a lot of mixed reviews. Most of it was really… supportive, and it really warms my heart that so many people could relate. I used to be, like, an aesthetic queen and want my space curated perfectly a certain way, but then I realized there’s more to life. I don’t give a f*ck, OK?”
Her apartment may have people talking now, but earlier this month, it was the socialite’s past relationships with Kanye West and Drake that made headlines. During a sitdown with Andy Cohen, she candidly answered questions about both men, among other things.
