Fredo Bang Addresses Each & Every Hater On New Single “You Hate Me”

Fredo Bang can be a bit of a goofball sometimes in his music, but on “You Hate Me,” he is not playing any games. Yes, the normally happy-go-lucky Baton Rouge product who puts out some wild bangers is strictly business on this new record over here. This is a good direction for him to go in our opinion, as it shows off his tonal versatility. With “You Hate Me,” Fredo Bang is definitely making a hater anthem.

They wanna see a n**** fall, they just waitin’ on it / F*** it, let’s bang it out until we all dead / I heard another n**** died, I’m like, “Oh, yeah.” Those are the opening lines from Fredo and they set the tone the rest of the way. This is now the third single he has been a part of or been the starring role in.

Listen To “You Hate Me” By Fredo Bang

On top of that, this also follows Fredo’s 2024 album Yes, I’m Sad. That has indeed been a big deal for the Louisiana native because it was his first LP since 2022’s UNLV. This could be another busy year for Fredo, as 2023 saw him drop single after single. “You Hate Me” is certainly a statement, and maybe a look at how he will be coming going forward.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “You Hate Me,” by Fredo Bang? Is he on a solid run right now in your opinion, why or why not? Is this one of his better songs as of late, why or why not? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Flau’jae & NLE Choppa Team Up For Uber-Confident “AMF”

Flau’jae and her LSU Tigers are doing a good job defending their title so far in the March Madness tournament. The three seed has taken out each opponent, (14) Rice and (11) Middle Tennessee State, by double digits. Against the latter program, they wound up pulling away in quarters three and four, thanks in part to Louisiana State’s star guard. She posted 21 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a pair of blocks. Number four was also efficient, shooting 60% from the field, 50% from three, and 80% at the free throw line.

To help celebrate reaching the Sweet 16 again on Friday, Flau’jae decided to drop a new song “AMF.” However, this is not just a solo single, though. NLE Choppa, a first-time collaborator, joined her in the recording booth for this boastful banger. If you take a look at the lyrics, there could be a subtle shot toward Middle Tennessee State.

Listen To “AMF” By Flau’jae & NLE Choppa

I walked in so it’s up, it ain’t my fault / Hella tears in the lobby, it ain’t my fault,” Flau’jae raps. This could be a subtle reference to the star player who fouled out in the third quarter after getting tangled up with Angel Reese. A video went viral where she got really upset walking back to the bench after picking up her fifth and final foul. So much so in fact, that she wound up crying as she had to watch on from the sideline the rest of the way. “AMF” could have been made before that happened, but it is all up for speculation.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “AMF,” by Flau’jae and NLE Choppa? Do you think she can have a stable rap career regardless if she goes to the WNBA, why or why not? Is this one of her better songs as of late, why or why not? Do you think a new project is on the way soon? Polo G Gives Emotional Performance On From The Block Track “Heavy Heart”

Polo G is one of those rappers who is in a weird spot in his career. The Chicago, Illinois multi-talented product has put out some of the bigger hits of the late 2010s. But for most people, his style is becoming stale. Everything down to the flows, production, and topical focus, what made him pop off is not hitting the same anymore. Hopefully, Polo G can continue to win listeners back with “Heavy Heart.”

This track comes courtesy of the YouTube channel 4 Shooters Only. They are known for their hit series From The Block, which sees your favorite artists rap passionately in random locations. In this case, Polo G is performing “Heavy Heart” at his gorgeous home with rows of expensive cars. Fun fact, DDG, YouTuber and fellow rapper, recently filmed a vlog for his channel and he and Polo G took a look around at his “$3 million” car collection.

For Polo G, “Heavy Heart” is not the only time he has collaborated with 4 Shooters Only. From what we can find, this is his second appearance. His last time on the channel was for “Diaries Of A Solder / Luh Da Raq” about a year ago. Interestingly though, neither of his three offerings have become streaming releases. For now, the only release in “Sorrys & Ferraris,” which dropped on February 16. HOOD POET, the next rumored project, still does not have a solid date yet, so who knows when that will happen.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Heavy Heart,” by Polo G? Do you think he should release this performance as a single, why or why not? Is this one of his better offerings as of late, why or why not? Do you think an album is on the way soon? Rich Homie Quan Teams Up With Clever & Matt Monaco For “Authentic”

Last week, Rich Homie Quan joined forces with Clever and Matt Monaco to drop a mellow new single, “Authentic.” The track sees the Atlanta-born performer reflect on his success, all while staying true to his roots. It arrives alongside a carefree accompanying music video, in which the trio shoots pool, turns up at a laundromat, and more.

While fans appear to be feeling “Authentic,” Rich Homie Quan’s latest release has managed to leave fans desperate for more. His comments sections are flooded with questions about plans for his next full-length project, which remain unclear at the time of writing. While he hasn’t dropped an LP since 2022, the rapper has dropped various collaborative tracks with other artists in recent months. Hopefully, this latest release indicates that there’s more to come.

Rich Homie Quan Drops Visual For Fun New Single

“That Quan from the past came back,” one YouTube commenter says of the new song. “I saw this and it reminded me of 2015 days,” another writes. Various others agree that “Authentic” is reminiscent of RHQ’s early days, while still showcasing how he’s evolved creatively throughout his career.

Listeners are also praising Clever for his contribution to the track, and are hoping to hear him team up with Rich Homie Quan again in the future. He’s also been hard at work on various collabs as of late, even hopping on a song with NLE Choppa last fall, “Stick By My Side 2.” It followed the pair’s 2019 track, “Stick By My Side.” In the past, he’s also worked with the likes of Post Malone, Dax, and more. What do you think of Rich Homie Quan’s new song with Matt Monaco and Clever? Will you be adding “Authentic” to your spring playlist or not? Jay Exodus & Boldy James Tell Their “Stories & Lessons” On New Single: Stream

Buffalo, New York’s own Jay Exodus is making a big impact in the rap game this week with his new single “Stories & Lessons” featuring Boldy James. In it, he reflects on the conflict between maintaining a romantic relationship amid his life in the streets, whereas the “No Fighting” spitter matches this thematic energy by speaking on his bond with his mother. Overall, both verses are pretty melancholic in their lyrical focus and delivery, but it doesn’t take away from the vividness or compelling quality of their titular experiences. While it’s by no means un-treaded territory, they focus on the execution to paint meaningful pictures of their lives.

Furthermore, the beat provides a lush bed of sampled instrumentation for Jay Exodus and the Penalty Of Leadership MC to slide over engagingly. There are a lot of curious and wondrous woodwind elements popping up all throughout “Stories & Lessons,” plus some chimes, ethereal synth pads, and some vocal sampling toward the end. But these are simply additions to the instrumental’s root combination of crisp, warm percussion, watery electric guitar chords, and horn additions. Even though seeing the elements on paper may sound nondescript as far as rap beats go, it matches the tender, conflicted, and moody subject of the song. It’s definitely a case of two good elements coming together to make something greater out of it.

Future, Metro Boomin & Rick Ross Champion Their “Everyday Hustle” On New Collab: Stream

Future and Metro Boomin’s new album WE DON’T TRUST YOU obviously has a lot of great trap highlights all over its tracklist. However, one of its most dynamic and triumphant offerings switches things up and expands the project’s arsenal of appeal. That would be “Everyday Hustle” featuring Rick Ross, a track about exactly what it suggests with two different flips of the same soulful sample. Moreover, the first beat on the track is structured much like Metro’s previous cut “Feel The Fiyaaaah” featuring A$AP Rocky and the late legend Takeoff on his 2022 LP HEROES & VILLAINS: a slow trap triplet drum sequence that you can feel in 3/4 or 4/4. Then, its second iteration switches to a boom-bap inspired percussion pattern that transitions seamlessly into a banging trap beat.

Lyrically, Future and Rick Ross focus on their “Everyday Struggle” with a lot of flair, sharp braggadocio, excess, and confidence. But it also contained some stray shots for Rozay’s ex Tia Kemp, which she was not happy with at all. Regardless, it’s hard to listen to a feature from the Maybach Music Group mogul and not look at it as a grandiose, opulent, and lavish moment. Still, don’t sleep on Fewtch’s performance here, as he flows with ease over both beats without losing his charisma and focus. While it isn’t a mode that we haven’t seen him in before, a lot of fans wanted this album to be what we know him and Metro Boomin to do best, and they delivered on that front.

Meanwhile, with Drake allegedly experiencing a rift with Pluto, still beefing with the St. Louis producer, and with Ross seemingly unfollowing him, this narrative has overshadowed a lot of the musical discussion around WE DON’T TRUST YOU. Yet cuts like “Everyday Hustle” are very well-crafted, and we can’t wait to debate what are some of the other best moments on the album. On that note, what did you think of this Future, Metro Boomin, and Rick Ross collab? If you haven’t listened to it yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and peep some standout bars down below. Also, stick around on HNHH for more great music drops around the clock.

Flee Lord & Conway The Machine Lyrically Spar On Crisis-Produced “Drum Mobb”

Flee Lord and Crisis did a great job promoting their now-released collaborative project Full Court Press. They did so about a week ago with the basketball-inspired “Play Amongst The Stars.” It featured one of the greatest lyricists of all-time, Inspectah Deck, as well. This is something that the rapper and producer duo is known for. Their love of basketball was prevalent on their previous team effort 2-3 Zone. So, you can view this latest album as a sequel of sorts. Today, we wanted to highlight Flee Lord and Crisis’ track “Drum Mobb.”

This is another one of the plentiful collaborative tracks on the record. Speaking of features, listeners will find artists like Trizz, Tiona Deniece, Mummz, and Conway the Machine. Additionally, Full Court Press has 13 tracks at just a runtime of 38 minutes and change. Furthermore, Flee Lord and Conway are no strangers by any means with each other.

This is now one of over 10 meet ups, so you know the chemistry is already going to be there. Sure enough it is and both provide some hard-hitting and catchy flows. Additionally, each rapper hits a nice pocket in the Crisis beat that goes hard with the drum pattern. Conway especially brings a fun performance with his drawn out “o” sounds. Be sure to check out Flee Lord and Crisis’ new album and this track.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Drum Mobb,” by Flee Lord, Crisis, and Conway the Machine? Is this the best song off of Full Court Press, why or why not? Who had the stronger rapping performance on the track and why? Is this Crisis’ strongest instrumental on the project, why or why not? Roc Marciano Is Taking Aim On Cold-Blooded On “Gold Crossbow”

Roc Marciano, one of the hardest workers in all of hip-hop is gearing up for another run in 2024. The Long Island, New York MC delivered a solid pair of record last year. Nothing Bigger Than The Program with Jay Worthy displayed how talented of a producer Roc is. Then, he put of the deluxe version of his and The Alchemist’s The Elephant Man’s Bones known as The ALC Edition.

For most of his career, Marci has put out at least two to three records per year. Hopefully, that trend continues with MARCIOLOGY due next Friday, March 29. To promote the record, Roc Marciano has just delivered “Gold Crossbow.” This is also his first solo single of 2024, so you know he had to come back with some heat.

We are happy to say that he delivers tenfold on that promise. The dark and despondent piano-backed beat is the perfect backdrop for Roc Marciano’s cold-blooded bars. From brags to warning shots, he is not holding back in any capacity. From what we know, features on MARCIOLOGY include Larry June, Flee Lord, Jay Worthy and more. Furthermore, there will be production from Uncle Al, but most of it will be handled by the multi-talent.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Gold Crossbow,” by Roc Marciano? Does this get you excited for his upcoming album MARCIOLOGY, why or why not? Is this one of his coldest songs ever? Does Roc deserve more credit as a top-tier MC? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Shakira & Cardi B Team Up For The Spicy “Puntería” From The Colombia Icon’s Latest Album

One of the pillars of pop music from the mid 1990s to the present has to be Shakira. The Barranquilla, Colombia superstar always has hits up her sleeve and is a model of consistency. However, over the last seven years, fans have not gotten a new album. That all changes today, and one song from it that no one can stop talking about is the Shakira and Cardi B collab “Puntería.”

Released just hours before Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran or Women No Longer Cry, this is now her 12th album. Shakira and Cardi B were a trending topic for a little bit back in May of 2023. The rumblings were centered around a possible song, “Estoy Lamida,” coming that summer, but it never materialized. However, “Puntería,” might be what was in the works around that time.

The main draw of this track is the possible meaning behind it. The title of song translates to “aim.” According to Bustle, they feel this song and album title has some ties to Shakira’s ex-husband Gerard Piqué. The “Whenever, Wherever” hitmaker was already throwing shade at him and his new love interest all through 2023. The overall message of the track is expressing how difficult it can be to move on from a past relationship. It does not directly call out Gerard or his partner, but we can see why some believe Shakira might have attacked the song this way.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Puntería,” by Shakira and Cardi B? Is this the best track on the Colombian pop star’s new album, why or why not? Who had the strongest performance on the record? Do you think she is taking shots at her ex-husband? Metro Boomin, Future, & Travis Scott Deliver The Dreamy Fan-Favorite “Cinderella”

Most hip-hop fans would agree on the fact that Soundcloud has given us incredible snippets. To play devil’s advocate, it may ruin the listening experience when a song gets leaked and then eventually released. But in the case of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Cinderella,” fans of the unfinished version were dying to see it get officially dropped. There was some speculation that this was going to be on UTOPIA given the time it made its way onto Soundcloud.

Instead, its home is Future and Metro Boomin’s eagerly awaited WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The album has been getting everyone talking in its first day out thanks to Kendrick Lamar’s surprise appearance. His shots toward Drake and J. Cole have been the main focus of this project for the most part. But “Cinderella” is still a big deal as well and hearing Travis Scott on it still was the cherry on top.

The unreleased version feels a little louder, while this official release relies a little heavier on the atmosphere from Future and Travis’ gravelly and subdued flows. Additionally, the twinkly synths that give the beat so much character are more prevalent and sound a little different too. Some are already complaining that the trio should have just stuck with the one everybody was used to. But we are here to say that Metro, Future, and Travis still did an incredible job keeping the spirit of the fan-favorite with the welcomed tweaks.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Cinderella,” by Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott? Is this the best track on the album, why or why not?
