There are not many better rappers than Armani White right now. Especially in terms of technical ability. His command of the microphone, his breath control, and the way he can rap fast while sounding coherent are just some of the skills he possesses. On top of that, you know Armani is going to be an energizer bunny on pretty much every track. He put all of this on full display on his second project, Road to CASABLANCO. Since the release of that back in February of this year, the Philadelphia native has continued to build on his style.

In the past month or so, Armani has put out two fun singles. At the beginning of October, he put on a lyrical masterclass on a YouTube exclusive freestyle, “REDEYE TO PHILLY.” Toward the end of the month, he linked with producer TroyBoi for “Shut S*** Down.” Both fit each other’s colorful and idiosyncratic styles to a tee. KYLE & Teezo Touchdown Link Up For “Somethin Bout U” Single: Stream

The biggest names in hip-hop are hoping to end 2023 on a high note after taking over half the year to secure a No. 1 single and album. This New Music Friday (November 10) in particular brought forth plenty of must-hear new albums and singles, including a joint effort from Meek Mill and Rick Ross, as well as a surprise LP from Kodak Black which name drops both Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande. One of the most unique collaborations to land on DSPs yesterday is “Somethin Bout U” from KYLE and Teezo Touchdown.

The joint effort finds the pair trading verses about the object of their affection. “I wanna make somethin’ with my face and your face / ‘That’s a beautiful baby,’ that’s what thе nurse say,” Teezo sings early on over the Alex Goldblatt and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes-produced beat. When they come together on the chorus, he and KYLE croon about many women they’ve previously crossed paths with being “all the same.”

Conway the Machine and Wun Two are ramping things up once again after the release of their single, “Brick by Brick,” two weeks ago. What we have come to discover is that it is the lead song for the rapper and producer’s upcoming collaboration project, PALERMO. The prolific New York MC has worked with tons of talented producers in the past. These past two tracks have been their first works together.

Interestingly, Conway has not promoted the record at all, but Wun Two has. If you go to the producer’s Instagram, he has a pinned post about it from October 26. The caption for it reads, “Today I have the pleasure to announce a new project with @whoisconway. Together we have a record coming with 10 wonderful tracks. The record is called ‘PALERMO.’ And will be released on ‘DECEMBER 22.’” He continues with a hilarious list of equipment used to record the record.

Ralo Shares Aptly-Named Single “First Day Out”

Just this past Wednesday, November 8, Ralo became a free man. He was serving six years behind bars for drug conspiracy charges. Now, he is looking to make up for lost time by getting back into the recording studio. When we reported that Ralo was out, we mentioned that he was going to be releasing a track shortly after. Well, he delivered on that promise, releasing the appropriately-titled, “First Day Out.” The Atlanta rapper took to Instagram to post about the song, but also leave a wise message for his followers. For those who do not know, Ralo does practice Islam, so that is why he mentions it in this caption.

He starts by saying, “I seen True Kings & Queens risk their life, freedom and livelihood to help build and feed villages, but when the wars came they lost their freedom, allies, wealth, property and some even lost their lives. If it’s anything in this world that can turn a person heart against you, then the love wasn’t never real in the first place.” Ralo goes on, “A pretty lie can bring out the ugly truth. PinkPantheress Showcases Her Versatility On Her Debut Album, “Heaven Knows”

Chris Brown Drops His 11th Album “11:11”

Chris Brown’s career can be defined in many ways, good and bad. We all know that by now. It is the classic question of, “Can you separate the music from the person?” However, there is one thing that is hard to dispute. Breezy has one of the best careers in the R&B genre of all time. That is a very high honor with all of the greats that are going now and the ones that have paved the way.

The Virginia native has just added to his legacy and discography with his 11th studio album, 11:11. This project had a pretty clever and on-the-nose rollout. Originally, Brown was going to drop the project on Saturday, November 11. It is quite rare for big-name artists to do such a thing, which is why it was no surprise he switched it to today.

In addition to that original plan, he was going to shorten the project to a concise 11 tracks. That would have been a massive far cry in comparison to how long his previous efforts have been. Three singles were pushed out prior to the album. Those were “Sensational,” “Summer Too Hot,” and “Nightmares.”
