Kali Uchis Creates A Gorgeous Atmosphere On New Album “ORQUÍDEAS”

Kali Uchis is one of the more versatile Latin music artists we have going right now. The 29-year-old singer is delivering the perfect mixture of vibes on her fifth overall project, ORQUÍDEAS. Rumblings surrounding this album began back in early August of last year. One of half of the City Girls, JT, had the internet talking when she landed on the single lead, “Muñekita.” Kali would then go on to release four other tracks.

One of them had people showering her with “congratulations” comments. That is because in the music video for “Tu Córazon Es Mio / Diosa” revealed that Kali was pregnant! She is dating rapper Don Toliver and has been for quite some time. Obviously, Kali has plenty to be thankful and happy for right now. “Tu Córazon Es Mio” refers to her relationship with Don in one of the most beautifully sentimental moments on the record.”

21 Savage Takes Aim At Those Spreading Misinformation In New Tweet

Rumors and straight-up misinformation being spread online is an epidemic. It can impact some celebrities and high-profile musicians in particular as people online are liable to make almost any claim they want about them. That privilege has been particularly protected on X, formerly known as Twitter. Since the company was taken over by controversial billionaire Elon Musk it’s been more difficult than ever to separate fact from fiction on the platform.

One person who’s noticed that is 21 Savage. Earlier this week he made a series of announcements that had fans buzzing. It started when he confirmed that a biopic based on his life story would be dropping soon. Fans were surprised to see that Donald Glover was involved in the project, though at the time his role was unclear. Later when a trailer for the film dropped, it was revealed that he will be playing Savage at an earlier point in the rapper’s life. On top of those bombs, Savage also revealed that he’s dropping his first solo album in 6 years alongside the film. The album is also called American Dream and is due for release tonight. But with this blitz of news, there was unsurprisingly some misinformation going around.

21 Savage Responds To Inaccurate Rumors

In a new tweet, 21 Savage says “Yall be on here saying anything.” While it’s unclear if there’s any one specific rumor or piece of misinformation that’s bothering him he’s clearly seeking out some clarity. Hopefully when the album and accompanying short film drop, all the misinformation bothering him

Earlier this week, Savage teased potential features for the new album. That’s caused fans to rush to the comments to speculate if big names will appear. Drake, Young Thug, and Travis Scott have all been heavily speculated. The album will drop tonight in the midst of a stacked weekend. Jay-Z And D’Angelo Announce New Song Coming This Week

Two legendary musicians from two different genres who don’t release music often are teaming up for a new single. The first is Jay-Z, whose last studio album 4:44 dropped in 2017. Hov hasn’t been completely silent since then though. The next year he teamed up with Beyonce as The Carters for a full collaborative album. Since then he’s popped up for a few notable features as well. He’s appeared on songs from Kanye West, Pusha T, Pharrell, and DJ Khaled since 2020.

The other artist is D’Angelo who has been far more reclusive. His last studio project is nearly a decade old. Black Messiah dropped in late 2014 and marked the R&B legend’s first new studio project since 2000’s Voodoo. Since then the only new song he’s released is a track called “Unshaken” which landed on the soundtrack for the video game Red Dead Redemption 2. Now D’Angelo and Jay-Z are coming together to collaborate on a brand new song. The track is called “I Want You Forever” and it’s also a collaboration with musician and filmmaker Jeymes Samuel. Samuel described the track as “nine minutes and 32 seconds of absolute soulful, biblical bliss.”

The new song is landing on the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Book Of Clarence. It’s part of a full soundtrack Samuel is releasing alongside the film. Jay-Z and D’Angelo aren’t the only notable contributors to the soundtrack either. Doja Cat. Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Kodak Black, Jorja Smith, and more are set to feature on the soundtrack accompanying The Book Of Clarence. The full soundtrack is due out for release later this week.

Additionally over the weekend, Jay-Z took home an Emmy for his directing work on Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show. He’s become a bit of a staple of the category for Directing A Variety Special with his Super Bowl shows landing among the nominees every year. 21 Savage Confirms Release Date And Reveals Cover Art For “American Dream” Album

21 Savage is finally making a full return to music. The 31-year-old rapper hailing from the UK will be delivering his third solo album, American Dream, this Friday, January 12. On January 8 reports came out that the project would be out this week, but now we have confirmation direct from the source. 21 was thrilled to announce this on his social media accounts just moments ago. “My 3rd Solo Album AMERICAN DREAM This Friday !!!!” This will be his first release since his arguably his best LP to date, i am > i was.

That was a little over five years ago and plenty of standout tracks such as “a lot” with J. Cole. In addition to the release date, we also have our hands on the cover art. You can see below that it has a vintage look to it. It shares some similarities to the Without Warning cover, with its wrinkles and hazy filter.

Though Spice wasn’t there in real life, a clip of her “Pretty Girl” music video was playing on the TV behind Latto while she rhymed for the camera. “I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she so nervous,” the blonde beauty spits, with many viewers speculating she’s referring to her redhead contemporary.

Bryson Tiller Flows Effortlessly On New Soundcloud Single “Lost Intro”

One of the most beloved figures within the R&B space has to be Bryson Tiller. People who keep a closer eye on music know how the Louisville, Kentucky native got his start. It was an incredible one at that. In 2015 God Tiller came through with T R A P S O U L. The project was a great mixture of soulful and sexy R&B and impressive rapping. Bryson’s ability to spit may be his most underrated skill.

Now, he might not feel that way, because the 31-year-old artist just came through with a new Soundcloud exclusive track. “Lost Intro” features fantastic rhyming and breath control across the 1:41 runtime. The instrumental is fairly skeletal with rapid-fire hi-hats and a low-key drum pattern. Bryson Tiller has been active on the Soundcloud platform as of late. Back in August, he came through with SLUM TILLER VOL. 1 & 2, which was also a nice release for him.
