Luh Tyler Wants All The Pretty Ladies To Put Their “Handz Up” On Newest Track

Luh Tyler is keeping his prolific stretch of singles going, as he drops “Handz Up”. The future Tallahassee, Florida superstar is keeping up with the more established names in his state, and he is going stride for stride with them. The quality is there in its own way, as the youngster continues to embody the trademark sleepy flows while staying original. In 2024, Luh Tyler has put out five singles in total now with “Handz Up” being out and this one sees him on his softer side. He wants to show some love to the pretty women out there who support his music.

“Yeah, yeah, if you a bad b****, then put your hands up (Put your hands up)“. However, for fans of his more cutthroat stuff do not worry, the bars are still very braggadocious. “Bust the Rollie down, I don’t got no timе for these b****es (Ice, ice, ice) / They ain’t never think that we would shine ’til we did it (On God) / Check my roster, all my b****es fine, yeah, they pretty (Bad b****) / Bro done lost his mind, he ridin’ ’round with that switchy (Grrah)“. But the overall atmosphere of the track is more lowkey. That is thanks to the watery instrumental and Tyler’s slower pace. He is also incorporating more melodic flows this time around, showing off that versatility. Be sure to check out “Handz Up” with the link below.

Lakeyah & Kash Doll “Get Ratchet” On Their Latest Collaboration

Lakeyah and Kash Doll are bringing the street grit of the Midwest, and the high energy of the South on their new single, “Get Ratchet”. This is the second release from the Milwaukee born Quality Control signee and the fifth from the Detroit MC. Both rappers’ calling cards are their ability to turn up on a song and that is certainly the case here. You are getting a symphony of sounds across this short and punchy banger, including triumphant horns and great bass. The former are taken directly from the 2005 Jeezy song, “Trap Star”. Lakeyah and Kash Doll are definitely stars on this song, giving this beat the business with hungry and braggadocious bars. This track could be a bigger deal for Lakeyah, as she has not dropped a project in quite some time.

In fact, it has been nearly two years since the release of No Pressure (Pt. 2). That tight, 10-song tape featured the young rising star bring a mixture of R&B and trap, showcasing her versatility. She brought on the likes of Flo Milli, Gloss Up, Lucky Daye, Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, Latto, and Layton Green. With the trajectory she is on, it would be the perfect time to update her resume. 2023 saw Lakeyah in an extremely active state four solo tracks. All of them could have the potential to be on album, and hopefully that comes true. As for Kash Doll, she is coming off a more recent project, Back on Dexter: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. Be sure to give “Get Ratchet” a spin and check out the accompanying music video below.

Kendrick Lamar Goes Viral For His Reaction To Being Pinched On The Cheek

Kendrick Lamar was on a bit of a victory lap last week. Overall, it all started with “The Pop Out.” It was here where Kendrick brought out numerous West Coast artists in an effort to unify Los Angeles. Moreover, it was an opportunity for him to perform his Drake diss tracks for the first time. In fact, he ended up delivering five-straight performances of “Not Like Us” which was the equivalent of twisting the knife in a stab wound.

Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar kept up the momentum as he was in Compton to film the “Not Like Us” music video. Fans are anticipating the video to come out this week, although there is no exact timeline for its release. Clips from the video shoot are going viral, including one in which Kendrick is walking by a crowd. As he makes his way through, a hand reaches over and pinches him on the cheek. Jim Jones Is “Too Turnt” With Taylor Ricard & Dilla Illa On New Single

Jim Jones is continuing to move past a turbulent couple of days just over a month ago. The longtime New York native rapper was at a Florida airport, when he was tag teamed by two men on an escalator. Outside of some bruising, the MC was pretty much unscathed afterwards. However, the same could not be said for one of his assailants, as he was bloodied pretty bad. Overall, though, things seem to be smoothing out. Since that wild and viral incident, Jim Jones has been getting back in the booth, with “Too Turnt” being one of his latest examples.

This is the veteran’s first solo release of the year, but it follows up a handful of collaborations. One of his biggest ones includes his appearance on “6 Minutes”. That is the opening track of Ghostface Killah’s latest record, Set The Tone (Guns & Roses). Others include Richie Valentino, Brodie Fresh, and Ron Suno. This time through, Jim is running the show, as he heads a roster of Taylor Ricard and Dilla Illa. As the title suggests, “Too Turnt” is about that feeling very feeling. It helps that the music video was filmed in Miami during the nighttime. It sells the uncontrollable party atmosphere of the song with great effect.

Millyz Reflects On His Success On New Single “Chosen”

It’s already been an incredibly busy year for Massachusetts-born performer Millyz, and luckily, it doesn’t appear as though he’s showing any signs of slowing down. Earlier this week, he unleashed his new track “Chosen” alongside a cinematic accompanying music video. The melodic track sees him rap about his climb to success, loyalty to his city, religion, and more. Boastful bars are grounded by a breezy beat and atmospheric instrumentals, making for an easy-to-listen-to and summer-ready single.

The accompanying music video pairs well with the dreamy track and shows Millyz roaming around the city with his crew, taking photos with fans, and more. His latest release follows his eight-track project called Katrina’s Son, which he unveiled in April of this year. It featured various collabs with the likes of G Mizzo, Sada James, and more. He even teamed up with Meek Mill for “Soul Survivor,” which he dropped a similarly impressive accompanying music video for at the time.

Millyz also joined forces with fellow Massachusetts native GNipsey back in May for their collaborative track “OPP.” The hard-hitting track certainly made the most of the two rappers’ strengths and arrived alongside a fittingly high-octane music video to match. What do you think of Millyz’s new music video? Will you be adding “Chosen” to your summer playlist this year or not? Who do you want to see the Massachusetts-born artist collaborate with next? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

J Cole & Tee Grizzley Link Up To Film Music Video In NYC

It goes without saying that it’s been a busy year for J Cole. After catching strays on Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” he unleashed his fourth mixtape in April, Might Delete Later. The project arrived complete with a scathing response, “7 Minute Drill.” Shortly after unveiling it, however, J Cole backtracked and removed the song from all streaming services. He also issued a formal apology to Kendrick onstage at his Dreamville fest. This was a controversial move until the Compton MC went nuclear on Drake amid their lyrical battle.

Shortly after that debacle blew over, he joined forces with Cash Cobain for “Grippy.” His feature was far from well-received, however, and he was immediately ripped to shreds for what listeners called “cringe” bars. He managed to redeem himself with his fan-favorite appearance on “Free Fall” from Tems’ new album, and now, he’s gearing up to unveil yet another high-profile collab.

J Cole & Tee Grizzley Have New Music On The Way

Earlier this week, the North Carolina-born performer was spotted filming what appears to be a new music video alongside Tee Grizzley. In a clip from the exciting moment, the two artists are seen spitting in the streets of NYC. The video is expected to accompany a new track they have on the way, which does not yet have an official name. It doesn’t have a release date either. The fact that they’re already working on a video, however, indicates that it should arrive sooner rather than later.

What do you think of J Cole linking up with Tee Grizzley to film an upcoming music video in New York City? Are you surprised or not? Are you looking forward to seeing it? Who do you want to see J Cole collaborate with next? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kwazii Is Not Giving Up On Love On “White Flags”

“‘White Flags’ is a song that represents a connection shared between two people with a common flawed perception of genuine love. Parting ways isn’t an option; Surrendering to love is the only way to move forward”. That is how Kwazii and his team are describing his new single “White Flags”. This is now his second promotional track from an upcoming mixtape the Canadian artist has in the works. Fans can expect I WAS PERFECT TO SOMEONE on September 20.

Yes, that is a long time, but Kwazii seems to have a lot of faith that “White Flags” is going to a track that holds listeners over. We can see the vision here, as he delivers a passionate performance about a relationship, he is willing to fight tooth and nail for. “I spent so many days tryna feel some / When the cut comes from someone you love it always heals wrong / And you draw for the knife / Oh isn’t love f***ing awful at times / I’m on the edge and it’s all on the line“. All of this is performed over some tasteful R&B-esque production, adding to the moodiness of the song. It is worth noting that I WAS PERFECT TO SOMEONE is Kwazii’s debut tape. If we are getting this kind of quality on an inaugural project, then he is in for an explosive rise to fame.

MAVI Begins Rollout For New Album “Shadow Box” With Sobering “Drunk Prayer”

MAVI is going to send you to outer space with his new single “drunk prayer”. This is the Charlotte, North Carolina native’s first solo release of 2024, and the lead single for his third album. According to Stereogum, there is good chance that this record deals with a lot of heavy topics. The talented multi-hyphenate revealed that he was disappointed in how his sophomore record, Laughing so Hard, it Hurts, played out. So much so, that MAVI sent himself in a spiral.

“I didn’t really know how to get back into making stuff into the way I like. I felt really hopeless about it… getting really drunk, dealt with love and heartbreak, having to be there for my family”, MAVI said. Overall, it sounds like it was a really difficult time for him. However, it seems that he is back to making art that he enjoys. Furthermore, this most likely means we are going to get the very best out of him when Shadow Box drops on August 9. As for this new single, MAVI is delivering a dark tale about said alcohol, death, and other grim imagery. Additionally, the production is absolutely transcendent. Credit here goes to Angelo Leroi for putting together so many compelling layers.

Don Toliver Throw A Houston Block Party In Music Video For “BROTHER STONE”: Watch

Don Toliver finally came by with his highly sought after fourth album, HARDSTONE PSYCHO. Fans were dying to get their hands on the project as soon as “Bandit” premiered back in February. So far, it seems that a lot of people are pleased with the end result. The features are adding to that satisfaction, playing a major role on the record. Travis Scott, Future, Teezo Touchdown, Charlie Wilson, Cash Cobain, and Kodak Black all bring something to the table. The latter might have the top performance on “BROTHER STONE”, and it seems that it will find a spot in a lot of listeners’ rotations. Due to the song popping off already, Don did good by dropping the music video for “BROTHER STONE” moments ago.

We can see why, as the beat commands your attention right away. The twinkly and haunting piano melodies, along with the thumping bass and punchy kick drums add up for a winner of an instrumental. Kodak is arguably the best part of it though, with his stop-start flow and energetic delivery. Don also does his thing, keeping the engines revved. As for the music video, Don and Kodak head to the former’s home for a lit party with strippers and lowriders. The now 30-year-old father of one continues to rock his HARDSTONE PSYCHO leather get-up, further promoting this punk rock aesthetic. Travis Scott and Trae Tha Truth, two other Houston natives, make some brief cameos later on at a grungy nightclub. All of them sling ones at the women dancing around them, as they rage throughout the night. You can check out the new visuals with the link below.

Tiffany Haddish Preaches Self-Improvement & Empowerment On “Woman Up”

Tiffany Haddish has become one of the more recognizable figures in Hollywood over the last decade. However, the road for the Los Angeles multi-talent has not been the smoothest, to say the least. Overall, the Girls Trip actress has dealt with some addiction, which then turned into some legal trouble as well. To her credit, she has been making serious life changes and so far, they have been paying dividends. Not too long ago, the prolific artist celebrated sixth months of sobriety. Perhaps this new single “Woman Up” is a message to Tiffany Haddish herself that things only get better when you act on things.

In fact, she kind of confirmed that sentiment with Billboard when talking about “Woman Up”. “The essence of this song accurately describes how I get myself motivated on a daily basis and pick myself up when I need it most”. This the latest release from Tiffany, following up on “Till The Club Close” with Lil Jon and Fivio Foreign. She does not put out a ton of music, but it is another strong passion of hers. It is part of the reason why this track was such a big deal for her to get out to the public. Another reason was because she got to work with critically acclaimed songwriter, Diane Warren. She has crafted hits for people like Celine Dion, Aerosmith, and more. Tiffany cited that she has been a huge fan of her work for years and that this was a “dream of mine”. Well, that dream is now realized, and you check out the music video below, which Diane also makes an appearance in too.
