50 Cent Hilariously Recalls His First Time Meeting Eminem

50 Cent was the most recent guest on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game will Gillie and Wallo, and a great one at that. In their episode, which dropped on Sunday (September 1), they discussed Fif’s career, business moves, and his unbelievable spending on legal fees over the years. However, one of the most colorful and heartening parts of the interview was when 50 recounted the story of the first time he met Eminem. Given their incredibly strong bond as musical collaborators, business partners, and decades-long friends, hearing this backstory from him is a pretty hilarious experience that feels nonetheless wholesome.

“It was wild,” 50 Cent told the media duo around the 51-minute mark of the video below. “It felt like… Remember that show they had? Punk’d on MTV? I thought they had cameras and they was going to come out and say ‘You’ve been punked.’” Also, he revealed that he wore a bulletproof vest when he first met Eminem. This took Em aback when he excitedly hugged him after looking forward to this meeting for a long time. Apparently, this made the G-Unit mogul more doubtful.

He flew me to L.A., right?” 50 Cent continued. “I came out. I was so bugged out from the experience that I came through the airport with the vest and s**t on. I’m lucky I took the shock plate out the front of the joint. Because when I came through, it didn’t. But the lawyer that I had with me that took me to [Eminem]. I get there he’s like, ‘Yo!’ He felt the vest and s**t and was like…” 50 then imitated the Detroit MC’s reaction.

“‘Yo this is going to be the biggest s**t right?’” 50 Cent recalled Eminem asking. “He was so excited that it made me question whether what was happening was right ’cause I just wasn’t so used to it. It felt so good that it couldn’t be like right. I’m like ‘Yo, nah.’” Well, all’s well that ends well, right? After timeless hits, millions of dollars, and a whole lot of contributions to each others’ legacies, we’re sure that they laugh back at this moment now.

Big Sean Suggests The Alchemist Collab Album Is In The Works

Big Sean may have just dropped his new album Better Me Than You, but he’s already thinking about the future. In fact, he has a lot more full-lengths where that came from, and he spoke briefly on them during a new Complex interview. Specifically, the Detroit rapper spoke at one point about the struggles of being a famous musician and how it can stress him out. While reflecting on these emotions, he revealed that one of his perceived weaknesses and difficulties is how he works on a lot of different things at a time. It’s here where fans got a hint about a full-on collab project with The Alchemist.

“I have been burnt out lately because I have chosen to take so much on by doing multiple music projects,” Big Sean told the outlet. “So what I mean by that is my album and then also cooking up with Alchemist too,” he said of the legendary producer behind his recent cut “Together Forever.” In addition, they also collaborated on Larry June’s “Palisades, CA,” and surely have more gems in the vault.

Also, Big Sean spoke on his current ideas for his TWENTY88 duo with his partner Jhené Aiko, as well as other loosies. He suggested that these two categories and others might end up on Better Me Than You or on a forthcoming project. “Conceptually, I got this song I did with KAYTRANADA called ‘My Life’ as the last song,” Sean stated. “That kind of concludes the album from a conceptual standpoint, and it’s basically more so saying it is the light at the end of the tunnel, and I wanted to end it like that.

“But then, after I had already turned it in and was releasing it, I was like, I kind of do want to go one more step further. Maybe even add an alternate ending, how they do with movies and stuff to the album,” Big Sean explained. “I’ve been looking at [the album] as a living, breathing being because I decided to put it out this week. I was going to keep holding onto it. I had a song with Nicki [Minaj] that I was working on. One of the TWENTY88 songs, I was like, ‘Oh, it kind of fits better on the album’. But it wasn’t all the way done yet.”

Tyrese Refuses To Squash DJ Envy Beef In Return To “The Breakfast Club”

Tyrese came back to The Breakfast Club after some previous clashes, and fans couldn’t be happier with the results. But that’s not because of how entertaining, funny, or easy this new conversation was. Rather, it was because of the emotion and honesty that he shared concerning his divorce, his grief, and his current mindset. Of course, that’s not to say that it was all tearful expressions and deep thoughts, as the multi-hyphenate and the radio hosts also chuckled along the way. He even embraced Charlamagne Tha God at one point, and overall, fans are happy to see him back and in good spirits with the crew.

Well… Maybe not all the crew. If you didn’t hear, Tyrese claimed that DJ Envy tried to ban him from The Breakfast Club last week amid their ongoing beef. Their issues, stemming from how they’ve spoken on each other’s relationships and on their personal bond, have dogged them around for the past year now. It’s hard to identify exactly what caused all this, since it’s one man’s word against another. Still, Envy reportedly didn’t say anything during this Breakfast Club interview, and fans wonder whether he was even in the studio.

Savannah James Reveals Why She Doesn’t Like The Term “Wifey” While Discussing Side Chicks

Savannah James provides some keen insight into her family dynamics from time to time, but she can also speak generally about relationships. Moreover, she recently spoke on the difference between terms like “wifey,” “side chick,” and “sneaky link” on the latest episode of her weekly Everybody’s Crazy podcast with April McDaniel. In fact, LeBron James’ wife didn’t think there was a difference between being a side chick and being a sneaky link until someone else clarified it. Most interestingly, though, she went on a small rant about how she despises the term “wifey,” presumably from how she described it as a minimizing and diminutive way to refer to a marriage.

“Nothing,” Savannah James responded to a question about what the difference between a side chick and a sneaky link is. “[Nothing] to me. Young people, help us, we old,” she added. Then, an off-camera participant explained that a side chick is someone that a man’s main partner knows about, whereas the partner does not know about the sneaky link. “Oh!” Bronny’s mom exclaimed. “Just be single,” she continued as her co-host agreed.

Savannah James Explains Why She Loathes “Wifey”

“[The main chick know about the side chick] is wild,” Savannah James went on. “It’s too much, just, it’s stressful to even be talking about.” “I don’t want to be ‘wifey,’ I don’t want to be nothing, I want to be the wife,” McDaniel posited. “Ooh!” Savannah cried out while balling up her first. “Ooh! When I tell you I hate, loathe ‘wifey’ with my whole entire soul. Because, n***a, don’t – Oop! I’m sorry, I’m sorry. *laughs* I’m sorry. Don’t call me your wifey when I’m not… I’m not. I had to politely tell my husband back in the day. You think you know, but you have no idea.”

Meanwhile, there’s a theory running around the Internet that LeBron and Savannah James are beefing with Drake. Joe Budden seems to think so, and a lot of other people are looking at mixed signals about their movement in relation to each other. Of course, that’s all just a load of gossip, so we’ll see if anything comes of it. At least we know that if any of these terms rub Savannah the wrong way, that’s when the real drama will come.

Tyler, The Creator Calls Out Hackers & Over-Obsessive Fans For Being “F***ing Weirdos”

Tyler, The Creator keeping it real in any scenario is Grade A content. In this case, the California multi-genre superstar is speaking on the hacking community at large, as well as fans who feel they are entitled to know everything. This is one of many discussions that him and Maverick Carter have in their brand-new interview. You can find it on the YouTube channel SpringHill, which is a media company ran by Carter and LeBron James. The show is called Mavericks with Mav Carter and he interviews tons of influential figures across all sorts of industries. Their sit-down was teased online yesterday with a sub one-minute clip of him going off the new generation of rappers and how they don’t value being a true musician.

As we mentioned, the segment we are focusing on here is about internet culture and how fans want to be as connected as possible to the celebrity. As you could probably guess, Tyler, The Creator is not a huge fan of this societal shift. “Because you like a song, or because you like a movie, that gives you permission to be a f***in’ weirdo?”. That is just one of many hilarious but real quotes from the IGOR MC. This topic came to light through Carter asking him about a time when he said making music is tiring. If you know his personality, Tyler doesn’t mean that 100 percent seriously. However, because of how many “kids hack everything”.

Tyler, The Creator Is Funny But Real At The Same Time

“They wanna know who your sister is, and like what you ate for dinner, like mind your f***ing business, go the f*** outside and listen to the damn art or the music. Like mmm”. Later he adds, “Because of the internet, people don’t know personal boundaries no more and its normalized and everyone thinks this s*** is cute, it’s like ‘we don’t know each other’”. Overall, he feels that fans getting the music isn’t enough anymore. Instead, they are “showing up to doorsteps… hacking this… following n****s’ moms home because [they] like a song”.

What are your thoughts on Tyler, The Creator calling out hackers in music and over-obsessive fans? Does he make some astute points here, why or why not? What is your favorite soundbite from this interview? Is Tyler one of the funniest and most real artists in hip-hop right now? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Tyler, The Creator. Tyler, The Creator Shares Harsh Opinion About A Lot Of New Rappers

Tyler, The Creator has proven again and again that he is an artist’s artist. He truly tries to evolve and experiment with sounds, textures, and genres, to bring a different listening experience to each project. It’s why he’s become one of the biggest names in hip-hop, especially over the last several years or so. It’s been quite a bit since we got a new project from the California chameleon, with CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST being the most recent in 2021. We did get the extended version, The Estate Sale in 2023, but not a truly fresh and separate LP. We are going to hear him collaborate with A$AP Rocky again when DON’T BE DUMB drops on August 30.

While we continue to hope for new music, Tyler, The Creator is sharing some pretty blunt comments/opinions on the current landscape of hip-hop. This is nothing new as he is going to speak out if he feels passionate about something. In this case, the IGOR creator is putting a lot of the new rappers on blast for not respecting the art form and thus do not deserve the musician title. In a repost from NFR Podcast, the clip sees Tyler sitting down with Maverick Carter, a close friend and collaborator of LeBron James.

Tyler, The Creator Thinks A Lot Of Rappers Aren’t True Musicians

He hosts his own show called Mavericks which is produced by Bron and Mav’s media company, SpringHill. His sit-down with Tyler will air on YouTube tomorrow, August 14, according to the teaser. In the short preview, he says, “There are so many n****s out right now who aren’t musicians, that are getting treated like musicians because they make meme records”, he states. Later, Tyler adds, “[They] publicly will be like, ‘I don’t give a f*** about music, I just do this s*** for money’”. Hilariously, at the end of the video, there’s an audio bite of Tyler saying that someone’s going to take this out of context. We will have to wait to hear the full conversation, but it seems pretty clear cut to us that Tyler doesn’t have a lot of respect for this new wave of talent.

What are your thoughts on Tyler, The Creator’s feelings toward the new crop of rappers? Do you think he makes a valid point, why or why not? Are you going to tune into this episode of Mavericks with Mav Carter? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Blacc Sam Recalls Churches Refusing To Host Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral

During a recent interview with Big Boy, Blacc Sam opened up about the tragic and untimely passing of his brother, Nipsey Hussle. The West Coast icon was murdered outside of his store in 2019, shaking the hip-hop community and leaving his loved ones devasted. Blacc Sam was no exception and described experiencing a loss of faith following Nipsey’s death.

“[I] just couldn’t understand it. It was like the Twilight Zone after that. Everything I believed in — my faith was shattered,” he explained. “Still can’t understand it, honestly. Just a twilight zone, man. [I] don’t understand. [It] shook my whole belief and whatever I believed in.”

Blacc Sam Recalls Struggling To Find Venue For Nipsey Hussle’s Funeral

Nipsey’s funeral was held at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly the Staples Center, in April of that year. According to Blacc Sam, however, finding a venue for the funeral was no easy feat at first. “Honestly, it was God,” he said. “You know, it was Hussle and God because we were just going through it… Obviously, we gotta get this funeral handled the right way, we were trying to hit churches and you know, Black churches, Black preachers. Nope, nope, nope. So, we couldn’t find a venue.”

Eventually, Nipsey’s friend and business partner Karen Civil stepped in and was able to secure the Crypto.com Arena with the help of LeBron James and Roc Nation. “After weeks and weeks of we can’t get a venue … we got the Staples for bro. And so, at that point, it was like, alright man, we gotta make sure we do this the right way for bro,” he added. This resulted in a 25-mile procession, with roughly 20,000 people in attendance to honor the later performer. What do you think of Blacc Sam’s recent interview with Big Boy? Big Sean Reveals What Is Keeping Him Out Of Big Three Conversations

Big Sean’s latest interview with The Breakfast Club‘s Charlamagne tha God is generating quite a bit of buzz. During their chat, they divulge in numerous topics, with perhaps the biggest surrounding him and Kendrick Lamar’s relationship. However, there is another section that is causing some debate amongst the viewers. Over each decade of hip-hop, you can point to three artists who have defined their respective periods. The one that gets perhaps the most traction is for the 2010s. Most throw in Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole in there, something that each MC has addressed several times as of late.

Other names you can debate are Future, Travis Scott, and Kanye West. The former of those names is someone that Charlamagne is willing to create a “Fantastic Four” for. Additionally, he tells Sean that the aforementioned “Big Three” is essentially unanimous, to which Sean rebuttals that he hears his moniker thrown around in those conversations. Additionally, though, the Detroit rapper can understand where people, including Charlamagne, are coming from. He cites that his “consistency” really isn’t there, mentioning how he hasn’t dropped an album in almost four years. Although, that dry spell will be ending on August 9 when Sean comes out with Better Me Than You.

Big Sean Notes “Consistency” Is Holding Him Back From “Big Three” Status

While the “Precision” rapper does show some humility, he does make clear that he can hang with the best of them on any track. He boldly mentions his verses on two Kendrick Lamar collabs, “Control” and DJ Khaled’s “Holy Key”, as his biggest flexes. In fact, he even claims he made sure he put together the stronger performance on the latter. This prompted fans to react. “He didn’t have a better verse on holy key though lol”, one user on X says. Overall, there were some fans that put Sean in the same air as three aforementioned pillars of the past decade and some that don’t. Maybe, though, he can convince the critics next Friday.

What are your thoughts on Big Sean knowing that he isn’t in the big three conversations like Drake, Kendrick, and Cole? Do you think he belongs in these debates, why or why not? Can his next album catapult him back toward the top of the heap if not? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Big Sean. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

50 Cent Surprisingly Expresses Regret Over Cam’ron & Fat Joe Beef

Mincing words and feeling regret aren’t common strategies employed by 50 Cent’s public persona, but there are always at least some reflections to make on what he could’ve done differently. Surprisingly, he applied this to some of his old rap beefs during an expansive and multi-faceted recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Moreover, Fif spoke on his feuds with Cam’ron, Fat Joe, and others during the 2000s, particularly within New York’s competitive mainstream scene. While some of these battles saw some prompt and proper resolutions, others became more contentious. Looking back, he seems to regret taking these issues so seriously and for so long.

“Look, I think we wasted too much time arguing,” 50 Cent answered when asked whether or not he regrets anything in his career. “Me and Fat Joe, me and Cam’ron. There’s other guys like Jada [Jadakiss], we cleared it up easier. But we wasted time because it was just the competitive nature. It wasn’t like we crossed paths and had real heat for each other. It went on more with Joe because he’s more like me, he’s closer in character to me. When we’re at odds, we are at odds, and we did that for a long time.

“And because of his loyalty to Irv [Gotti] and Ja [Rule], because he worked with them, I was seeing him not be happy from the things that were making me happy,” 50 Cent went on. “It’s easy for me to say, ‘F**k you’ if what makes me happy makes you unhappy. Then, we’re not on the same page and it turns into some s**t, and I couldn’t pinpoint what exactly happened.

“When you look back at it, you go, ‘Wait, what happened?’” 50 Cent concluded. “Because we didn’t even have no altercation or no specific thing that created it. Now he’s like my friend. I don’t care that he has relationships with people that I don’t. Because he’s always had those relationships.” Elsewhere during this interview, the G-Unit mogul also spoke on his distaste for Diddy, Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar, and many more revelations from his wide-ranging and versatile career.
