Nardo Wick & BossMan Dlow Remind Everyone Who They Are On “Oh Sh*t”

Nardo Wick has been building a career by bringing a murderous and unforgiving tone to his music. He’s drawn a lot from the playbook of former collaborator 21 Savage, and it was cool to see them tour together during the American Dream run. Since starting his professional career four years ago, the 22-year-old MC has just gotten better and better. However, with all of that time, there’s still only one project to show for it. That would be his 2021 debut, Who is Nardo Wick? In that same breath though, it seems that the Jacksonville native has been hard at work on his sophomore release. Proof of that comes in the form of “Oh Sh*t”, the first song between Nardo Wick and BossMan Dlow.

Both have been doing their thing, so it’s nice to see the bubbling Floridians finally unite. This looks to be single number five for WICK, which is due sometime in October. The lead-off cut looks to be the Sexyy Red joint “Somethin’”, which hit DSPs back in early February. Then, we would receive “Wickstyle”, followed by “Back To Back” featuring Future and Southside, as well as “Deep End”. On “Oh Sh*t”, you are getting both MCs in the braggadocious bag, as they continuously remind themselves and others that they are “him” as they say nowadays.

Nardo Wick’s Brother Reportedly Enters Insanity Plea Over Florida Burglary

Nardo Wick and his family are in a tough situation right now following his brother Hayward Biggins’ arrest for attempted burglary back in March. Moreover, Ring camera footage below is what allegedly identified Nardo’s brother as the shooter in this incident. While the rapper had nothing to do with this incident, his community still expressed outrage, as this burglary apparently took place near his home. Nevertheless, Biggins and his legal team reportedly filed for an insanity plea in this situation, which means that he seeks mental help in recovering from this incident but doesn’t think that he’s directly responsible or accountable for it given his struggles.

However, this isn’t the only contentious and dangerous situation involving one of Nardo Wick’s close associates these days. For example, some members of his entourage apparently beat up a young fan when he tried to ask for a picture, which drew a lot of controversy online. Many debated whether or not this was a proper response, and most people agreed that Nardo’s team took this way too far in this incident. Still, this is another situation that the Jacksonville MC had nothing to do with, and he quickly spoke out about this fan.

Nardo Wick’s Brother Shoots At A Door In Ring Footage

I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any type of way,” Nardo Wick expressed on social media. “I expressed to him and his momma how sorry and concerned I am that it happened to him multiple times before anything [hit] the internet. And I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened. And I was even gone make a post to find out who he was before his mama text me. I can’t control another grown man actions. I aint know that was gone happen and I was mad when it happened.”

At least those responsible turned themselves in for the attack, so it’s clear that they understood that something was very wrong here. Regardless, we’ll see whether a similar situation happened with this shooting case’s insanity plea and whether Nardo Wick will speak out about it again. In any case, hopefully these situations resolve themselves sooner rather than later for the sake of everyone involved.

Nardo Wick And Future Go From Sunshine To Grime In Their Rugged ‘Back To Back’ Video

With Future fresh off the release of We Still Don’t Trust You, he re-teams with Nardo Wick for “Back To Back.” The “Me Or Sum” dream team reunites for a surprisingly smooth summer banger ahead of Wick joining 21 Savage on the Atlanta rapper’s upcoming American Dream Tour. The song sets out the Jacksonville native’s life philosophy as he establishes his hood credentials and positions himself as a loner who stands on business.

Nardo also co-directed the video for the song, which was shot in Los Angeles and Miami, alongside Ndoh and Supo Supreme. It’s the second single Nardo released this year, following the Sexyy Red-featuring “Somethin’.”

It certainly looks like Nardo Wick is gearing up to release a follow-up to his 2021 debut album Who Is Nardo Wick? which established the Florida rapper as one of hip-hop’s hottest rising stars. The album, which featured tourmate 21 Savage, Big30, Future, G Herbo, Lakeyah, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk, landed at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, building on the breakout success of its second single “Who Want Smoke??” With his upcoming tour and another co-sign from the red-hot Future in the bag, Nardo Wick looks to be having a big 2024 in the works.

Future Disses Drake (Again) On Nardo Wick Single “Back To Back”

Future wasn’t going to stay silent forever. Future and Metro Boomin were the ones who turned the rest of the hip-hop industry against Drake by releasing the pointedly titled albums WE DON’T LIKE YOU and WE STILL DON’T LIKE YOU. They clearly have a problem with the 6 God, and they teamed up with every rap star who feels the same way to bomb on him. Future has been suspiciously quiet since the collab albums dropped, however, leading many to ask whether he was still in the battle. Fans got their answer on April 25.

Future linked up with Nardo Wick for the new single “Back to Back,” and you can guess where this is all going based on the title. The song isn’t as pointed as Drake’s 2015 diss, especially considering Wick’s general first verse. It’s only when Future hops on for a second verse that the purpose of “Back to Back” becomes clear. Pluto raps about “sliming out” an unnamed op and smashing a woman as soon as he met her. One of Drake’s recent hits was “Slime You Out” with SZA, and the feud between him and Future is rumored to be over a woman.

Future References Multiple Drake Song Titles

Future then uses the words “diss” and “back to back” in the same line. “Ain’t gon’ be no n**ga who dissin’ you, I’m spinnin’ back to back,” he spits. “Any n**ga save on the issue, I’m goin’ rat-a-tat (Brrt).” Future knows all eyes are on him in 2024, so there’s little to no chances these bars are coincidental. He wraps up the verse by threatening violence against his target. “Fifty bullets sittin’ in the clip, it got a n**ga arrogant. Murderers on murderers do murders, my natural habitat.”

Drake has been focused on battling Kendrick Lamar and generally ignoring others. It’ll be interesting to see if he takes time out to respond to Pluto’s latest subs.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Back to Back,” by Nardo Wick and Future? Do you think Future is really taking shots at Drake? Are his bars hard-hitting? Do you think Drizzy will respond? We want to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news on Nardo Wick and Future. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

Quotable Lyrics:

Bro, I’m clever, vendettas, raw dope, it’s whatever (Let’s go up)
I’m a rapper, but better, if I go, I go federal (Pluto)
I pour up, I don’t measure, I smash soon I met her (Oh)
I leveled up, my bread up, I’m fed up, it’s pressure
It’s gang-gang, you can’t hang, we slimin’ out whoever
I keep it on, get stepped on, in Maison Margiela

Nardo Wick’s Brother Identified As Shooter In Ring Camera Footage

Nardo Wick has had his share of legal troubles. The rapper was arrested on a concealed weapons charge in August 2021, but released soon after. The same may not be true for Wick’s brother, Hayward Biggins. First Coast News reports that Biggins was caught shooting at a house in St. Johns County back in March. The house is located near Nardo Wick’s family home, and the footage in question, which was captured via ring camera, shows Biggins trying to kick in the front door before pulling out a gun and firing a single shot.

The outlet confirms that nobody was injured in the shooting. That being said, the tenants have moved out of the house and are afraid to return to the scene of the crime. “They can’t live there because they are traumatized,” a neighbor revealed. “They’ve been sleeping in a hotel for the last few weeks.” The owner of the St. Johns Country home claimed that there was a community meeting about the shooting, and that many wanted to confront Biggins at his home. “I had to stop people marching to his house, that’s how angry the neighborhood was,” they revealed. “I definitely feel the need of protecting our neighbors.”

Hayward Biggins Was Caught Firing A Gun On Camera

Biggins was taken into custody shortly after the shooting occurred. He was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and attempted armed burglary. Nardo Wick’s manager was critical of the way the locals handled the incident, however. He accused Biggins’ neighbors of being “clout chasers” who are trying to drag Wick into the situation despite his lack of involvement. “[The family] had nothing to do with Hayward’s actions,” he said. “And the shooting had nothing to do with Nardo Wick.”

The name of the tenants will not be released due to safety concerns. Nardo Wick has not spoken on the incident publicly, but he has been quick to criticize those close to him in the past. He took two members of his security team to task in 2023 when they assaulted a fan who was trying to get a picture with him. “I don’t stand with the situation that happened,” he said on Instagram Live. “As soon as it happened I tried to deescalate the situation.” Wick’s brother, Biggins, is currently in jail without bond.

Reports have confirmed that two members of Nardo Wick’s entourage have turned themselves into authorities after they were accused of assaulting a fan that asked Wick for an autograph.

Zachary Benton, 34, and Edward Hamlett, 15, surrendered to Tampa Police and were charged with felony battery for “viciously beating fan” who suffered critical injuries including a brain bleed and concussion. 20-year-old George Obregon approached Nardo requesting a picture, but before he could snap a flick, Benton and Hamlett allegedly attacked Obregon, leaving him unconscious.

Obregon’s parents accused Wick of not cooperating with the police, but Wick denied involvement in the assault and offered to help the victim’s family.
