Sukihana Blasts Haters For Misrepsenting Her Nicki Minaj Comments

Earlier this week, Sukihana expressed her respect for Nicki Minaj. “I respect Nicki, I know I’m not gonna get a Nicki feature,” Suki said. Her comments came while appearing on The Armon Wiggins Show. “I don’t give a fuck if a bitch don’t like me or not,” Sukihana says, keeping it 100 percent real. “But imma still say that I respect [her]… I don’t know if I’m blocked or not, but I will say… I know I’m not gonna get a Nicki feature… That’s cool, I fuck with you.”

However, these comments were somehow taken as Suki saying that Nicki Minaj doesn’t like her because she was in the video for “WAP”. This likely stems from the war between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B that is largely fueled by their online fanbases. Regardless, is uncharitable slander was not taking lightly by Suki herself, who took to Twitter to refute several of the claims being made.

“I never said that ??! Stop making shit up about me. He said that,” Suki said of a tweet claiming that she was pushing a false narrative because “Rosalia was in the wap music video and here they are.” Suki then addressed the edited clips published by the likes of The Shade Room and The Neighborhood Talk. “Child I showed love to everybody I’m a real bitch watch the whole thing and get off my dick fr always tryna twist shit. Suki also shared a comment she left on Instagram, presumably on the original “clip” of her talking about Nicki. In the comment, she tells the poster to “post the whole clip”. Remaining on the topic of context, Suki says “Show the love I showed showed sexyy, show my love for Cardi in the interview. Y’all gone make me really call y’all out as much drama y’all try to stir up. I said what I said and I stand ten toes down. I’m not a trouble maker or problematic. I speak the truth and show love.”

Jimmy Butler Makes Shakira “Smile” As Pair Explore New Romance

A lot was made about Shakira’s very public breakup with Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué in 2022. After nearly 10 years together, Shakira reportedly discovered infidelity on the part of Piqué. According to multiple reports, this came after his new paramour allegedly left jam out at their home. Shakira reportedly does not eat jam herself.

However, it appears that Shakira may have a new athletic love interest – the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler. Rumors began to circulate earlier this week after the pair were spotted at Novikov in London’s swanky Mayfair district. That was the most recent outing for the pair, who have been spotted several times since Shakira’s recent move to Miami with her children. It’s believed that the romance formed sometime after Shakira attended a Heat game in May. Butler was publicly in London to support young tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon. Shakira was also spotted at the All-England Club.

After the London date, a source appeared to confirm the romance to Us Weekly. “They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it’s too early to tell if there’s long-term potential there,” the source alleged. Furthermore, the source noted that the 13-year age gap doesn’t bother Shakira “whatsoever.” Furthermore, it appears that Butler is a bright spot for the singer after something of a rough period in her life. “Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him.”

It’s no secret that Piqué’s infidelity hurt the singer greatly. “This is really hard to talk about personally, especially as this is the first time I’ve ever addressed this situation in an interview,” Shakira told Elle in September 2022. “I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all. … It’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it. And because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation. I’ve tried to conceal the situation in front of my kids. I try to do it and to protect them, because that’s my number one mission in life.”

Kanye West Might Be Working On New Music, Rooga Claims

It’s been almost a year since Kanye West’s controversial comments landed him in hot water once again. This time, though, amid brand deals splintering and particularly concerning comments and behavior, no one knew when he would try to make his musical comeback. Now, we have some rumors based on alleged collaborators that said day is soon to come. Moreover, Rooga recently appeared on the No Jumper podcast and claimed that Ye is putting together a new album in Japan, where his wife Bianca Censori is also staying with him. While the host, Adam 22, tried to get more details out of the Chicago rhymer, all he said was that “he’s working on an album.”

Of course, given the Yeezy mogul’s track record when it comes to released music, any news of a Kanye West record on the way is bound to make huge waves. Still, the most interesting thing that a new project will demonstrate, maybe, is how much his controversies bleed into it. After all, following his 2009 disruption at the MTV VMAs, reflections on fame, narrative, and being “the bad guy” fueled My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. With rampant antisemitism and his messy divorce from Kim Kardashian in mind, this could make for either a retribution or a disappointing double-down for the 46-year-old.

Rooga Says Ye’s In Album Mode

Regardless, that’s all just speculation and assumptions at the end of the day, beyond what Rooga expressed. While Kanye West has plenty of amazing albums, he also gained notoriety for the string of albums that he teased, previewed, or announced, but never released. Many fans out there probably won’t believe it ’til they see it, especially with his public context in mind. However, perhaps we will get something soon, as other reports indicate that Ye is working with Hit-Boy and Freddie Gibbs and spending time in Japan with Digital Nas and Ty Dolla $ign.

More Hints At Kanye West’s Musical Return

Meanwhile, there are a few other tidbits of information that could point to a new album, but they’re quite minimal and largely hearsay. In addition, previously unreleased tracks that resurfaced online from the 2011 era are also adding a little bit of excitement and hunger for new Ye. Drake Surprises Fans In Montreal With J. Cole Appearance

After six shows in the United States, the It’s All a Blur Tour has headed to the Great White North for the first time. The Drake/21 Savage co-tour hit up Montreal’s Bell Center for a pair of shows beginning on July 14. Of course, there has been a little bit of controversy with the tour so far. The start of the tour was delayed multiple times without explanation. The tour was originally meant to begin in Memphis on June 16 but actually began in Chicago on July 5. Furthermore, people were surprised to learn that the “hologram” that formed part of Drake’s set was actually just a guy playing “young Drake”.

However, fans were treated to yet another surprise guest during the Montreal show. Drake has brought out some heavy hitters on the tour so far. The most notable of these was in Boston when Drake brought out Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum. Despite this, Drake’s guest in Montreal was not a local star. Instead, Drake’s guest for his first show in Canada was North Carolina rapper J. Cole. Regardless, fans were very excited about the superstar, who walked to the stage through a sea of outstretched hands. After Montreal, the tour is set to head to Brooklyn on July 17.

However, an appearance by J. Cole wasn’t the only tour-related news coming out of Drake’s first Canadian performance. Drake also shared photos from the tour so far on his personal Instagram. “You love thinking that this shit is all heavenly and what not like we’re not capable of being enemies and what not like it’s just security moving heavily and what not you boys over the hill like you seventy and what not or over the hill like we in Beverly and what not. Even when we sober react we tend to over react…allegedly or what not,” Drake added as a caption.

While many of the pictures show the love that Drake has received on the tour so far, or his energetic performances, one picture stood. A picture of a goth/emo child appeared as the final image of the set and was tagged with the account of “V4ng0thz”, a Canadian artist and musician. V4ng0thz also appeared in the comments of Drake’s post, saying “y’all sleeping on the last pic.”

Beastie Boys’ Deluxe ‘Hello Nasty’ Vinyl Will Get A Reissue In Honor Of The Album’s 25th Anniversary

Beastie Boys will be honoring the 25th anniversary of their Hello Nasty album with a special 4xLP deluxe reissue of the record. The version was originally released in limited qualities back in 2009, but has since been sought after, according to a press release.

It features 21 bonus tracks, with rarities, b-sides, and remixes included. Upon the original Hello Nasty release in 1998, it sold nearly 700,000 copies in the first week.

Beyoncé Poses With Jay-Z And Blue Ivy To Celebrate Her Husband’s ‘The Book Of HOV’ Tribute Exhibit

Beyoncé took to Instagram to share some new pictures from the Brooklyn Public Library’s opening night event for their new Jay-Z-themed exhibit. In the first picture of the slideshow, she posed with a “The Book Of HOV” blue book (named after Jay’s exhibit) — as she stands in the middle of the library stacks.

After a few other selfies, including one where she shows off a sparkly earring, Beyoncé poses with Jay-Z in what appears to be the elevator of the library.

Her daughter, Blue Ivy, was also in attendance. She rocked a blue dress and some sunglasses.

Finally, Beyoncé added some inside glimpses of The Book Of HOV exhibit — between old tour lanyards from the rapper and throwback photos on a wall.

According to Billboard, the Brooklyn Public Library’s The Book Of HOV exhibition includes “archived objects, including original recording masters, never-before-seen photos, iconic stage wear, prestigious awards, and recognitions, as well as videos and artifacts from every facet of Jay-Z’s professional life.”

“We are proud to celebrate his mastery of music, poetry, the written word, and the oral tradition, and we hope the exhibit will inspire visitors to bet on themselves and pursue their own dreams, musical or otherwise,” Linda Johnson, the library’s CEO, also told the publication.

Trippie Redd Is Finally Delivering ‘A Love Letter To You 5’ As A New Album For Fans Next Month

Trippie Redd has officially announced that his next album, A Love Letter To You 5, will be available for fans to listen starting next month. He had hinted at the project through his recent single, “Took My Breath Away,” which featured Skye Morales, as well as confirming the title earlier this year.

However, the surprises haven’t stopped there.

A few weeks after the record’s release, Trippie will perform across North America as part of his recently-announced Take Me Away Tour. Throughout the run, he will be joined by LUCKI, D.Savage, Ekkstacy, Jean Dawson, and K Sauve at select shows.

Drake Had The Kentucky Men’s Basketball Team Come Over To His House

Drake‘s love of Kentucky men’s basketball is pretty well documented by this point. For years, Drake has made appearances in Lexington, like the time that he appeared at the team’s Big Blue Madness event and got to warm up with the rest of the roster, although he did find himself on the receiving end of some jokes due to a pretty ugly airball he launched from behind the three-point line.

Regardless, Drake and John Calipari’s squad are basically tied together at the hip at this point, and recently, this meant that the young men who suit up for the Wildcats got the chance to go hang out at Drake’s place. The Wildcats were greeted by a gigantic banner in front of the place and then got the chance to practice a bit on his basketball court.

Calipari, the longtime Kentucky coach, posted a video from Drake’s pool, confirming that they were, indeed, at Drake’s.

The Wildcats are in Toronto for Globl Jam, a tournament that features men’s and women’s teams from several different countries, with Kentucky basketball representing the United States. The team played against Canada on Thursday, and there is no word on who Drake wanted to win that game.

Drake & Bobbi Althoff’s Upcoming ‘The Really Good’ Interview Clip Is Awkward And Cringey, But Certainly Worth A Watch

Drake, can you do something for me? Get rid of your uncomfortable Drake-isms for me. The “Search & Rescue” rapper’s forthcoming appearance on TikTok influencer Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good podcast will be awkward and cringey, as the teaser clip suggests, but it’s certainly worth a watch.

Following the satirical interview format made popular by creators such as Funny Marco, the pair engage in one of the most uncomfortable conversations we’ll see this week.

The clip opens with Althoff confessing, “I don’t know any other questions.” After a short exchange, the duo seemingly begins to flirt, and they get more comfortable under the sheets of the bed they share.

However, the funniest part of the clip, the influencer asks the musician, “Do you think it’s funny when your reference your own song? People could use that word, and it doesn’t mean your song.”

Drake replied in-between laughter, “I just thought that you were ending the interview on a note where you were like, ‘Haha, I do know your songs.’ You were just asking for a flight.”

“No, I don’t know your songs,” Althoff admits, much to Drake’s dismay.

Althoff hasn’t revealed when the full interview will be uploaded, but her followers have promised to tune in.

Future Seemingly Wants To Revive His Feud With Russell Wilson On Quavo’s ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’

Future and Quavo reignited their creative chemistry on Quavo’s new single “Turn Yo Clic Up,” but that isn’t the only thing being revived. It seems Future’s been carrying a torch for Russell Wilson all this time, and he drops a couple of lines on the song that has fans believing he’s stoking the flames of his one-sided rivalry with his ex-flame Ciara‘s current husband.

In his verse, Future throws out the line, “Big dawg status, bill hopper / I ball in his mall for my brothers / Goyard bag, tote the cutter / I got it out the field, fuck Russell.” The punchline plays on rappers referencing “the field” — i.e. “the streets,” “the mud,” “the trap” — with Wilson’s occupation as quarterback for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Here’s the track:

Future has seemingly long resented Wilson; after splitting up with Future, with whom she shares one child, in 2014, Ciara moved on with Russell Wilson in 2016. They were married in July of that year, and ever since, it seems Future can’t seem to help throwing petty shots at Wilson, despite co-parenting with Ciara. In 2019, he accused Wilson of “not being a man in that position,” after Ciara responded to him naming her in his song “My Collection. (Seems like she’d stop talking about him if he’d stop talking about her, though. Also, he was the one who allegedly blew it, so he’s kind of throwing stones from a glass house.)

Russell has, thus far, shrugged off Future’s antics — which could all just be pantomime for fans of his “toxic” persona, anyway.
