Drake And Sexyy Red Pose As A Couple In “Rich Baby Daddy” Music Video

Last year, Drake released his highly-anticipated new album For All The Dogs. The project features some of his strangest collaborations and song concepts to date and the videos accompanying the era have been appropriately outside the box. The first video from the era was for “8 am In Charlotte” and starred Drizzy’s son Adonis, who also makes his rap debut on the album itself. Tracks like “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole and “Another Late Night” with Lil Yachty also got videos of their own. The EP that followed the album Scary Hours 3 even got a video that featured an appearance from another one of the biggest stars in all of music, country singer Morgan Wallen.

Now one of the most unique and exciting tracks on For All The Dogs is getting a video of its own. That track is “Rich Baby Daddy” which features Sexyy Red and SZA. For the music video, they play off Sexyy Red’s recent pregnancy. Drake and Red play a couple in a series of home video-style recordings documenting her pregnancy. As the video goes on her water breaks and by the time her verse arrives she’s rapping alongside a newborn baby. It’s another stylistically distinct video from this era and perhaps the funniest yet. Drake is currently on tour alongside J. Cole for his It’s All A Blur tour. The tour has been going on for months now dating back to the 21 Savage-supported shows last year. Despite claiming last year that he was going on a hiatus, Drizzy teased new music during a recent stop on the tour. While nothing actually concrete has emerged about what he could be releasing and when, he seemingly refuses to let his fans go without new music for long.

Brent Faiyaz & Lupita Nyong’o Drop Enticing & Mind-Bending Music Video For “WY@”

Brent Faiyaz had his fans and Lupita Nyong’o’s dazed and confused all day yesterday with a little teaser. He posted some shots and audio for a music video to his song “WY@.” It was a track that was a part of the rollout for his now-released album Larger Than Life. It is Brent’s fourth studio LP and it follows up his 2022 tape WASTELAND. The Maryland R&B songwriter had some stellar tracks on his 2023 endeavor such as “Moment Of Your Life” with Coco Jones. But, Brent’ Faiyaz’s “WY@” is the track getting more attention.

As we mentioned, the preview for the music video had people shocked when they saw him and Lupita about to make out. However, we did not get to see the full extent of that scene. That is, until today. To help celebrate Valentine’s Day, Brent dropped the five-minute long “movie” for “WY@.”

The full video is as equally confusing but intriguing as the teaser. It depicts him and Lupita acting out scenes for their upcoming action film. The part where the two artists are about to kiss winds up being a dream as he is back in his “bedroom” watching Lupita on a late-night talk show discussing said movie. However, that too is a scene for the motion picture. It really bends and twists your mind in all the best ways.

Latto’s “Sunday Service” Visual Takes Us On A Trip Through The Bronx

Whatever’s going on between Latto and Ice Spice definitely isn’t as tense as the drama between Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. However, hip-hop heads have been curious to see how the two younger women will handle the beef that’s been brewing between them for months now. While they’ve never come to blows in person, there’s been plenty of subliminal shade thrown online, and more recently in the studio too. After the redhead confirmed that her first single of 2024 is a diss aimed at Latto, the 25-year-old seems to have aimed at Spice on her “Sunday Service” song, which hit DSPs today (February 9).

Not long after the single’s debut, the former reality star shared its accompanying visual, much of which was filmed in her opp’s neighbourhood – The Bronx in New York. “Every time y’all book me with them h**s, it’s gon’ be big drama / Twenty black Suburbans, we pull up like Sunday Service,” Latto enunciates on her hook. In the following verse is when her apparent shot at Spice comes out. “These b**ches corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do / Do you rap or do you tweet ’cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b**ch,” she begins.

“Think I’m the s**t? / Bitch, I know it, ho / Jesus walked on water, I got ice boiling though,” Latto’s clever bars continue. She tapped Go Grizzly, Pooh Beatz, and Bankroll Got It to produce for her, creating a distinctly Southern sound reminiscent of the blonde beauty’s roots.

We’re just weeks into 2024, but already it’s shaping up to be a big year for the music industry’s leading ladies. Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Unleash Apocalyptic Visual For “Vultures”

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have been teasing their new album Vultures for quite some time now. Although the album has yet to drop, it is clear that they are on the verge of making it happen. Just the other day, Kanye West came out and revealed that three volumes of Vultures would be released. Overall, these projects will be released on February 9th, March 8th, and April 5th, respectively. For now, we don’t know too much about the project. However, it does seem like it is closer than ever before.

One great way of knowing that this is the case is the fact that the lead single “Vultures” now has a music video. The video was directed by Kanye himself, as well as Aus Taylor and Onda. Kanye West Taps Ty Dolla Sign & North West To Star In New Music Video, “Talking/Once Again”

Kanye West has shared a new music video titled, “Talking/Once Again,” featuring both his daughter, North West, as well as his frequent collaborator, Ty Dolla Sign. The track arrives while he and Ty prepare for the release of their new album, Vultures, on Friday.

North previously performed her opening verse on the song at Wynwood Marketplace in Miami back in December. In response to the finished product, fans are proclaiming her and her father the best in the game. “I’ll let you finish, but Miss Westie has one of the best videos of all time,” one fan commented on the music video. Another wrote: “Kanye is literally the greatest. It’s just no way around that.”

The collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign comes as the two prepare to release a new album together, Vultures, on Friday. The tracklist is expected to feature Charlie Wilson, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown, YG, Future, and several more artists. One rapper not making the cut is Nicki Minaj, who rejected West’s request to include “New Body” on the project. “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster’. I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is. But we going to get this or we just ain’t going to push it,” West remarked in response.

Ye just made headlines, earlier this week, for complaining about the difficulty he’s been having booking stadiums in which he can perform. “We just sold out United Center in seven minutes, and I just want to express to everybody out there to see if there’s anyone that can help with this,” West said in one clip re-uploaded by a fan account. “It’s the only arena that I had access to in the past year. And when I call, people say there’s no avails for me, and you know why that is. The new Lyrical Lemonade album All Is Yellow is finally out, and to name highlights off of it would be a much longer article than needed. Still, there is one track in particular that its team, artists, and fans seemed to take a liking to in particular: Chief Keef and Lil Yachty’s “Say Ya Grace.” Moreover, as expected from a creative like Cole Bennet, its visual treatment is pretty stunning from a technical standpoint, even if it’s not the flashiest of most complex presentation on paper. Some yellow tarps, filter effects, simple outfits, and cameos from Denzel Curry, G Herbo, and Big Sean make this a compelling package.

But all this is unsurprising if you’ve been following All Is Yellow‘s rollout, which contained no shortage of bangers as both singles and music videos. Take for example “Doomsday” with Juice WRLD and Cordae, which is a refreshing spin on old ideas in both lanes. For what it’s worth, Lil Yachty and Chief Keef still come through with a lot of charisma and personality in the video despite their simple set-up. Seeing MCs bring life to ad-libs and contrast their recording delivery is always a really fun part of visuals, and they don’t disappoint here.

Their vocal chemistry is potent here, and though we would’ve loved to hear more trade-offs, their matching tones are enough to satisfy. Hopefully it’s not the only collab that the two have in store.

Travis Scott Brings A Twisted Tale About Two Loves To Life In Visuals For “I KNOW ?”

Travis Scott’s explorative fourth studio album UTOPIA was bound to be a major success when it dropped. It has become just that. Everything from the rich soundscapes, standout features, and sales numbers, to the theatrical tour, Scott made sure to give the fans what they had been yearning for. Another draw of the record is the performances by La Flame himself. There are a lot of great ones to choose from, but “I KNOW ?” is arguably the best of the bunch.

The Houston, Texas multi-hyphenate brought a mysterious and alluring quality to the track. From the hypnotic and eerie piano instrumental, to the storytelling, along with the melodic mastery, there is nothing to nitpick. Scott details his druggy utopia that he feels safe in but also acknowledges how twisted it is. On top of that, there is a theme of betrayal on his part. He is entangled with two women at once.

Travis illustrates that in the visuals that have just dropped moments ago. Directed by himself and Dave Meyers, the superstar rapper plays out scenes with supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and Anok Yai. There are some simple but effective shots, especially when he and Emily’s faces mesh together. The story comes full circle at the end when Travis drives back to his house and the shots go back and forth between Anok and Emily as to who he is living with.
