Benzino Roasts Eminem’s Face In Reaction To “Doomsday Pt. 2” Music Video: “What In The Plastic Surgery?”

Benzino and Eminem have had it out for each other for years and years. Hip-hop heads will know this, but the younger generation might find this to be new news. The most recent chapter in their never-ending feud stems from the Detroit legend’s appearance on the Lyrical Lemonade and Cole Bennett debut album All is Yellow. One of the most talked about moments on the record was Eminem’s “Doomsday Pt. 2.” In it he directly goes after Benzino, making fun of his neck, the time he was in bed with men at a hotel, and the Coi Leray comments about asking for a feature.

Being honest, it was a pretty funny diss toward his rival. Now, the hatred is being revived yet again, as Benzino recently gave his reaction to Eminem’s “Doomsday” music video. THE HIP-HOP WOLF shared a post on Instagram of the comment left by the co-founder of The Source and it is quite the response. “He finally responded‼ Can someone tell me what in the plastic surgery happened to his face?? Benzino wrote.

“He looks like a walking corpse. Nah… this ain’t it. RAP ELVIS DESTROYED @eminem.” Coi Leray also shared a blunt and sarcastic comment underneath Cole Bennett’s post thanking Eminem. “Cute,” she wrote in reply.

What are your thoughts on Benzino’s reaction to the music video for Eminem’s “Doomsday Pt. 2?” Who is winning this battle of words in your opinion and why? Is Eminem washed or still delivering quality music in your opinion? Is All is Yellow still in your rotation? Playboi Carti Gets Nicked By Machete During Music Video Shoot For “KETAMINE”: Watch

It seems that DJ Akademiks was onto something the other day when he told Playboi Carti fans to “stay tuned.” While people did not want to believe it, the social media pundit wound up being right in a way. We did not get Music, but we did receive another new single. If you have not heard, Playboi Carti delivered “KETAMINE,” presumably the sixth taster from the long-awaited aforementioned record. Like a couple of the tracks already, this one was released on the opium_00pium Instagram account. The visuals are quite unique as well as the sonics, and during the video shoot for “KETAMINE,” Playboi Carti suffered an injury.

You can actually see it play out in the full music video. Or, if you want to skip to it, check out the shortened clip below provided by Kurrco, found by HipHopDX. In the rundown and dilapidated room is a random mattress. Carti jumps off of it and and leaps toward the half-naked guitarist that is performing alongside him.

However, hanging from the ceiling by an exposed lightbulb is a sharp machete. Carti wound up jumping right into it and you can see that he appears to be shaken up. It is unclear whether or not he meant to do that, but hopefully it is not too serious of an injury. If you have not already, you can check out “KETAMINE” and see for yourself if it is deserving of the hype it is getting.

What are your thoughts on Playboi Carti getting hurt during the filming for the “KETAMINE” music video? Are you enjoying the song so far? Where would you rank the single compared to the previous ones and why? When do you see him releasing the album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Offset Reveals Just How Sweet Whitney Houston Was When He Danced In Her Music Video

These days it would be pretty hard to not notice Offset appearing in something. The rapper rose to prominence as a member of Atlanta hip hop trio Migos around a decade ago and hasn’t left the public view since. Last year he released his new album Set It Off which did impressive numbers. It spawned hits like “SAY MY GRACE” with Travis Scott and “JEALOUSY” with Cardi B. The track “WORTH IT” featuring Don Toliver recently re-entered the Hot 100 and sits at #93 this week.

But during a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Offset recalled a time before he was famous. He told the story of his mother seeing a billboard advertising auditions for a Whitney Houston music video. I pulled up. I remember my mama told I’ll never forget, ‘When the music come on, just go out there and do your thing. I was smaller than everybody. Everybody was 11 or something, and I was like 8. Then I did it,” he begins. Clearly something about his dancing impressed Houston. “I remember she came from the back and pointed me out. When we shot the video, she was just a nice, sweet soul. Bobby Brown was cool too. He was making us laugh. He was cool. Yeah, both of them. I got a lot of cameos too,” he revealed. Check out the music video that a young Offset danced in below.

Drake Admits Biting This Underground Group For “Headlines” Music Video

No matter how big or how small you are as an artist, you’re bound to constantly take inspiration from other things to craft your art. Even Drake knows this, as he recently took to his Instagram Story on Thursday (March 7) to celebrate The Table of Nonsense, an early 2000s rap album from underground Canadian group The Empire. In fact, his frequent production partner, OVO mainstay, and close friend Noah “40” Shebib appears in the project’s artwork, and he commented on this via this IG Story post. “@ovo40 this flick is incredible I think I bit this swag for sure,” the Toronto superstar expressed online.

Then, he shared a screenshot for the music video for his 2011 hit “Headlines,” and you can see the parallels between a shot from the visual and The Table of Nonsense‘s cover art from 2003. “@ovo40 yup, there it goes,” Drake wrote on this second part of his Instagram Story reminiscing. It’s a mood that he often jumps into with a lot of nostalgia, frequency, and cheekiness, and it’s curious to see these less-scoured origins. Furthermore, we’re sure that Drizzy and 40 will have a lot more memories to share and celebrate in the future, and that more inspiration points will make themselves clear.

“My original rap crew circa 2000, these guys taught me how to make records when I was 17,” 40 wrote of The Empire back in 2015. “Craven Morehead, Talksick, Adam Bomb, Joker aka Joe Keezy, Tek Man, Mr. Shebib, Scandalis, T.R.A The Rhyme Animal, Nickel Bagz, P.I.L, Dj Shortcut, Meziah, special shout outs to Friday, Skinny The Nutcracker and Quackas.” Meanhwile, Drake found a recent “muse” in a certain St. Louis native, and we’re sure that Sexyy Red could say the same about the 37-year-old.

Meanwhile, history is still being written, and he’s still finding inspiration. The “Evil Ways” spitter recently teamed up with 4batz to remix his breakout hit. We’ll see what else inspires him in the 2020s… and what else he “bites” from. Regardless, for more news and the latest updates on Drake, keep checking in with HNHH.

Eminem Celebrates “My Name Is” 25th Anniversary With Wild Behind-The-Scenes Facts

In honor of the 25th anniversary of his iconic track “My Name Is” and its accompanying music video, Eminem has provided fans with a rare glimpse behind the scenes. The performer shared a new installment of Vevo Footnotes, in which he uncovers fun details about the song, the video’s creation, and other wild facts about the hit. He recalls working alongside Dr. Dre, hints that he might have been high during one of the scenes, and more.

In the video, Eminem describes coming up with the unmistakable chorus during a session with Dr. Dre. He says that after turning Labi Siffre’s track into a beat, Dr. Dre transformed it into a hip-hop classic. Months later, they went on to shoot the music video, which was a learning experience in itself.

Eminem Calls Shooting The Video “Such A Big Deal”

According to Eminem, the music video was the first he had ever filmed on such a large scale. He was in completely new territory, as his first-ever video was done on the cheap. “The video was the first big-budget thing I had ever done,” he explains. “It was such a big deal to experience a soundstage, a full crew, and all the things that come with shooting something at that scale. It was such a huge learning curve to see what a big Hollywood production looked like.”

He also reveals how the video’s concept came to life, noting how Dr. Dre was previously acquainted with the director, Phil Atwell. “They created the vision,” Em says. “It’s hard to imagine the song existing without that video,” he then adds, “They perfectly complement each other.” Atwell later went on to direct various other videos for the rapper, including “Stan,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and more. What do you think of Eminem giving fans a glimpse behind the scenes of his iconic “My Name Is” music video? Which fact surprised you the most? Safaree Admits Watching Nicki Minaj Kiss Nas “Hurt”

Safaree says that it “hurt” watching his ex, Nicki Minaj, kiss Nas for the music video to, “Right By My Side.” She dropped the Chris Brown collaboration for her 2012 project, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Safaree recalled the point in time during a recent appearance on the Keep It A Stack Podcast.

“You wanna know what’s so crazy? I didn’t know it happened until the video came out,” he revealed. “N***a, I was hurt. When that sh*t happened, I was hurt. I was there the whole day so I was like, ‘Damn. Did that happen when I left to go? I must’ve left for like an hour, two hours and I think that’s when that scene happened, yo.”

It’s not the first time Safaree has admitted to being upset over the music video. Back in 2018, he made similar comments while reflecting on the experience. “I was there,” he said on the Easily Offended podcast. “You wanna know what’s so crazy? I didn’t know it happened until the video came out. I ain’t gonna lie, I was hurt when that shit happened. Before that, I used to be able to [say], ‘Great. Give Drake a lap dance, great. Wayne. It was all love.’ That was whatever, but I was there the whole day, I was like, ‘Damn, did that happen when I left?’ I must have left for like an hour. I think that’s when that scene happened.”

Sexyy Red & Hunxho Spark Relationship Rumors After Music Video Together

Sexyy Red and Summer Walker’s new music video for their track “I Might” vaguely tells the story of a woman choosing a new partner over her current baby daddy, and the conflict that this creates. However, some fans think there’s even more beneath. Moreover, the St. Louis MC recently posted a video on Twitter from the visual’s shoot, in which fellow rapper Hunxho acts as her new flame. Given the specificity of the clip, and the use of the line “I need a n***a that keep it real ’cause my last n***a was phony” in it, some fans speculated that the two are actually together, although this is completely just based on gossip and likely intentional connections.

After all, what better way to get some promo swirling around a new release than some rumors for the headlines? In addition to this, Sexyy Red also posted a couple of new snaps on Instagram whose caption is the aforementioned line above about getting a new man. Of course, she just gave birth to another child, so some fans might assume that she’s not really in the mood to start a new relationship because she’s so busy. Also, there could still be some healing left to do from the last fling, although we don’t want to speculate much on that.

Sexyy Red Sparks Hunxho Dating Rumors

Furthermore, it’s not like the “SkeeYee” hitmaker is any less provocative or sultry in her online presentation. Amid a lot of new music previews, she got social media to start a twerk thread on Twitter to hype up her next moves in 2024. Sexyy Red already came through with some new releases this year, and we’re sure that she has no plans of slowing down throughout it. It’s going to be a pretty competitive one, but not one that some club bangers and raunchy lyrics can’t participate in.

Red’s New IG Post

Meanwhile, she’s also inspiring others with her art, whether it’s collaborators, fans, or other industry peers. For example, Drake labeled the 25-year-old his “muse” on IG recently, and that probably goes both ways for the “Rich Baby Daddy” duo. But perhaps a stronger point of inspiration is a new boo, so we’ll see if we ever get confirmation or denial on this. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Sexyy Red and Hunxho.

DaBaby Goes Buck Wild On New Single “GRAMMY PARTY”

It really is not a secret anymore that for most hip-hop fans, DaBaby has gotten stale. His 2022 sequel record, Baby On Baby 2, left quite a sour taste in people’s mouths. Especially after the first installment had more memorable tracks like “Suge,” “Goin Baby,” “Baby Sitter,” and more. However, 2024 could be the year DaBaby turns things around.

The Cleveland, Ohio born rapper is back with his first solo release since his three track EP LET’S DO IT. That dropped back in October, so fans have been patiently waiting. “GRAMMY PARTY” sees DaBaby go insanely wild, as he raps with blistering speed over a bassy beat. He really packs a lot of words into each line, showcasing his technical abilities.

However, this is not DaBaby’s only release of the year. He has been busy in the feature department, working with artists like That Mexican OT and Icewear Vezzo. While this is his first streaming release in a few months, DaBaby has been dropping quite a bit on YouTube. About three weeks ago he rapped over one of JAY-Z’s most famous beats of all-time, “Public Service Announcement.”

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “GRAMMY PARTY,” by DaBaby? Is this one of his better tracks as of late, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Matt Champion Unleashes Danceable New Single “Slug”

It looks like 2024 will be a major year for former Brockhampton member Matt Champion, who dropped off his second solo offering of this month earlier this week. Towards the beginning of February, the performer teamed up with Dijon to unleash the melancholy single “Aphid.” Now, the Texas-born performer has delivered yet another atmospheric track, “Slug.”

The bright single also arrives alongside a creative accompanying music video, which sees the performer covered in slime, dancing in a clear plastic bubble in the woods. Eventually, he’s joined by several other dancers, who confidently strut around him as he crawls around on the ground looking out of place. The fun, danceable track is grounded by heartfelt lyrics about pining for someone to love, and being willing to do anything to keep them around.

Homeboy Sandman Targets The Cash In New Single & Music Video “$”: Stream

Homeboy Sandman is a very prolific artist, but don’t think that he’s not one to take a retrospective on his illustrious career. Moreover, he just released a new music video for “$,” one of the many great cuts off of the I Can’t Sell These mixtape from 2022, available exclusively on Bandcamp. “Money is the primary interruption between people and God,” the “Real Good” MC wrote in the video’s description on YouTube. “In other words, it is the primary interruption between people and reality. The truth is that everything and anything that comes to anyone comes from God. This is true of food, clothing, shelter, relationships, opportunities, capacities, experiences, lessons, anything. The falsehood that things are obtained through money and not God is the most devastating force that I witness around me in my day to day life.”

Not only that, but Homeboy Sandman previously called this his “favorite song [he’s] ever written” on Bandcamp. It’s not hard to see why: this is easily one of his most topically focused and thorough tracks as he goes over the issues with prioritizing money over happiness and health in a capitalist system. The Now! creative also pairs this with a drumless, dramatic, and lush string-carried instrumental, sampling “The Kiss” by Trevor Jones. To top it off, Nathan Dufour Oglesby (professionally known as Nathanology) provides a colorful, cartoonish, but nevertheless engaging visual treatment with a lot of allusive graphics and Sandman’s chilled-out rapping. It’s the kind of artistry, message, and presentation that the New York rapper’s always prioritized on past albums like 12 Days Of Christmas & Día De Los Reyes.
