Moneybagg Yo Unveils Tracklist & Features For Highly Anticipated “SPEAK NOW”

Fans are not going to have to wait much longer for Moneybagg Yo to drop SPEAK NOW, as the rapper has just revealed the tracklist. According to HipHopNMore, the platinum certified artist did so moments ago and we also have full knowledge of the accompanying features. This is a big deal, mainly because Yo was hyping up a guest that he wanted, which forced him to move the LP back to a later date. It is why fans have been a little restless, as the album was supposed to hit streaming on May 24.

It appears that the artist that the Memphis native was able to sneak in was Lil Durk. Yo shared a screenshot of a text conversation with him and Smurk, and both were pleased with how it turned out. The Chicago native is one of five guest artists for SPEAK NOW, with YTB Fatt, Kevo Muney, Chris Brown, the already-known Rob49, and country star Morgan Wallen rounding out the names. The latter may be a shocker to some, but he has worked with rappers in the past, including Lil Durk.

Moneybagg Yo Grabs Six Guests For SPEAK NOW

In total, there will be 17 songs, three of which are already out. Those include “TRYNA MAKE SURE”, “BUSSIN”, with Rob49, and the most recent, “PLAY DA FOOL”. All three have been hitting for Moneybagg Yo and there is good chance that more bangers are on the horizon. Speaking of which, this will allegedly not be the only album we get from Yo. He announced a second tape, which will feature him in a more vulnerable state. Get ready to feast y’all.

Moneybagg Yo Enlists Morgan Wallen, Rob49, Lil Durk & More For His Upcoming ‘Speak Now’ Album

Uproxx cover artist Moneybagg Yo announced his new album Speak Now a few weeks ago, and now, has revealed the tracklist for the upcoming project. Dropping on June 14, the album’s tracklist features guest appearances from Chris Brown, Kevo Muney Lil Durk, Morgan Wallen, Rob49, and YTB Fatt.

The June 14 release date for Speak Now puts its release a little over a year since Moneybagg’s mixtape Hard To Love dropped last year with appearances from Fridayy, Future, GloRilla, Lil Durk, and YTB Fatt. Moneybagg told Uproxx that he was working on the album, which would feature Morgan Wallen, two years ago; of the delay, he told fans on X, “Just Got A Crazyyyyy Feature In I Couldn’t Drop This Project Without Now Everything Locked In Fasho sho Its Worth Da Wait.”

While he took time between albums, Moneybagg Yo went on tour with Finesse2Tymes, Sexxy Red, Luh Tyler, Big Boogie, and YTB Fatt in 2023 and appeared on the Gangsta Art 2 from his label, CMG. More recently, he contributed a verse to GloRilla’s new mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang.

Moneybagg Yo Drops Off Blistering “PLAY DA FOOL” One Week Ahead Of “SPEAK NOW”

Moneybagg Yo has fans on the edge of their seats. The Memphis, Tennessee spitter was on pace to drop his newest album SPEAK NOW on May 24. However, the 32-year-old was not quite ready to release it to the masses just yet. Subsequently, fans were left disappointed, but there is a good reason for it. The hitmaker revealed that a major feature could not be left behind and he wanted to make sure that record would make the cut. SPEAK NOW is just one week away from dropping (June 14), so the wait will hopefully be worth it in the end. But before that arrives, Moneybagg Yo has one more single to share from it called “PLAY DA FOOL”.

This is the third offering from the project, as it supersedes “Bussin” with Rob49, and “TRYNA MAKE SURE”, which has been popping off. Yo is synonymous with being cutthroat and aggressive and “PLAY DA FOOL” is no different. Subsequently, you get a lot of bars about street life, snitches, violence, and the like. Moneybagg locks in and finds a pocket as soon as the record starts, leading to a thoroughly entertaining 2:20.

Ari Fletcher Claims Moneybagg Yo’s Ex Has Been Harassing Her For 5 Years

Ari Fletcher has been going back and forth with the mother of one of Moneybagg Yo’s children all week. It started seemingly innocuously when she took to her Instagram story to share a selfie. While that isn’t out of the ordinary for Fletcher she was sporting a shirt that got some attention. “His ex is my biggest fan” the text on her shirt reads. That didn’t sit right with everyone and it specifically rubbed one of Moneybagg Yo’s exes the wrong way.

Fittingly, his ex took to social media with her own t-shirt slogan. “tell your boyfriend to stop calling me,” her response shirt read. That led to a full-on back-and-forth of the pair taking shots at each other. Fletcher clapped back next with a post about May being mental health awareness month, which was obviously her taking a shot given the context. “Only thing mental is your fake happy ass,” Moneybagg’s ex posted on her Instagram story shortly after. But it was actually a reply to Moneybagg Yo himself where Fletcher made the biggest revelation of the entire brief beef. Check out what she had to say below.

Ari Fletcher Talks To Moneybagg Yo’s Ex

When Moneybagg Yo tried to take himself out of the picture and claim that nobody was actually talking about him, Fletcher replied. Though his original tweet was eventually deleted, Ari got her response in beforehand. “Don’t say nobody say your babymama. It’s been 5 years of stalking and harassment. This sh*t is SO beneath me” the tweet she made reads. That wasn’t the only post she made though. She followed up her first response with a scathing post about Yo’s ex calling her out for being obsessed despite not being all that close to him.

Moneybagg Yo Disses BIG30 On Leaked Song, He Seems To Respond

It seems like Bread Gang Entertainment, Moneybagg Yo’s label, is facing some internal conflict at the moment, as an unreleased diss track seemingly against signee BIG30 surfaced online over the weekend. In it, he claims that there have been sneak disses and behind-the-scenes betrayals on BIG’s part, and that Bagg gave him all the resources necessary for his career. However, the label boss thinks that his artist fumbled the bag and just isn’t connecting with the fanbases anymore, as well as suggesting a gambling addiction. Furthermore, it’s not the best look for the former “GO!” collaborators, and hopefully they can resolve their issues through a clean rap battle or just a heart-to-heart.

However, BIG30 allegedly responded to Moneybagg Yo via a Facebook post from Friday (May 17) after he first heard the unreleased diss track. “And who tf said they gone die bout that lame a** s**t,” the Still King MC reportedly expressed, per AllHipHop. “That don’t even sound like me truth be told n***a recruited my n***a for protection. Sholl hope yeen never thought my n***a had super powers he couldn’t do it by his self fool a** n***a. You came to our hood for the muscle cause them folks starting putting pressure on his a** extortion only!! He still paying n***a to this day to stay off his ahh.

GloRilla Recruited Megan Thee Stallion, Finesse 2X, And Moneybagg Yo For Her ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang’ Mixtape

GloRilla is about to have the summer on lock. This week, the Memphis rapper is set to release her new mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang. The mixtape precedes an international tour with Megan Thee Stallion, where she will serve as the Hot Girl Summer Tour‘s opener.

But that won’t be the only collaboration between the two rap powerhouses. On Ehhthang Ehhthang, Meg and Glo have a collaboration called “Wanna Be,” which, despite not having been released yet, is pretty much guaranteed to be the song of the summer.

Glo also recruited our cover star Moneybagg Yo, Finesse 2X, and more to appear on the mixtape, which — if its anything like her infectious hit “Yeah Glo!” — will be on repeat for the foreseeable future.

Moneybagg Yo is one of the most prolific Memphis rappers in the modern era. The CMG/Bread Gang Music Group MC has one of the largest catalogs with about 19 projects, not including deluxe versions. Even though we are accustomed to hearing multiple projects from him every year, 2023 was perhaps his biggest. In 2024, Moneybagg Yo is starting off with a raunchy bang by dropping “Bussin” with Rob49.

This marks the first-ever track with the Tennessee and Louisiana natives, as they rap about women and sex. It is easily one of the most bombastic tracks we have heard all year. The NSFW lyrics are not being subliminal whatsoever as you know what Yo and Rob49 are talking about on this cut. Helping with this basic trap banger are the master producers of the subgenre Tay Keith and Wheezy.
