Quavo Reacts to Migos Breakup Rumors

The future of Migos still remains unclear.

Earlier this week, fans noticed that Offset unfollowed both Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram, as did his wife Cardi B. Quavo also appears to have unfollowed Offset, but Takeoff still follows Offset.

This sent fans into a frenzy as they started speculating why the trio would unfollow each other and what this could mean for their future.

“Damn this really the end for the migos? Why else would offset unfollow quavo and takeoff,” pondered one fan.

Now Quavo is seemingly reacting to the breakup rumors. After the story gained traction, he changed his Instagram bio to read, “HUNCHO 1/3rd Of Greatest Group In The World MIGOS.”

It’s unclear if that means the trio is still together or if he’s just celebrating their legacy. He still does not follow Offset. Meanwhile, Offset and Takeoff have oddly remained silent on the topic.

This all comes as Quavo and Takeoff ready their new collaboration “Hotel Lobby,” set for release Friday under their new duo name “Unc and Phew.”

All three Migos members are currently slated to perform at upcoming festivals including Governors Ball, Rolling Loud Toronto, and Life Is Beautiful.

In a 2018 interview with XXL, Quavo vowed that the group would stick together. “All of the great groups that we’ve seen have never let their group be what they could have been,” he said. “Ain’t nothing gonna stop us but us and God. Everything else is in this water.”

The tweets is watchin’ and they say Offset has unfollowed fellow Migos members Quavo and Takeoff. Twitter user Kurrco pointed out the social media activity, which many associate with “I no longer deal with this person.” If you need a bit more to convince the potential break-up, Cardi B, Offset’s wife, has unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff as well.

Quavo and Takeoff are currently promoting a new single “Hotel Lobby,” which will be released under the moniker Unc and Phew, pointing toward their real-life family relationship.

Migos Breakup Rumors Are Swirling On Social Media After Offset Unfollows Quavo And Takeoff On Instagram

Migos have blessed rap fans with memorable tracks and highlight moments since they earned their mainstream breakout with 2013’s “Versace.” From then to now, Migos has graced the world with hits like “Bad And Boujee,” which became their first No. 1 song, “Motorsport,” “Stir Fry,” “Walk It Like I Talk It,” “T-Shirt,” and more. They also have a discography filled with fan favorites like “Fight Night,” “Handsome And Wealthy,” “Hannah Montana,” and more. Nearly a year removed from their most recent album Culture III, it seems like Migos’ end could be near as many fans noticed Offset seemingly made a surprise move on Instagram.

It appears that Offset unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram which shocked many as the move generally signals that a breakup has occurred. To make matters worse for Migos supporters, it was also revealed that Cardi B also unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram which adds fuel to the breakup rumors.

The rumored rift in the Migos camp comes after Quavo and Takeoff announced that they are dropping a new single as a duo called Unc And Phew, which references their familial connection. According to XXL, the upcoming track is called “Hotel Lobby” and it remains to be seen if the record plays a role in Migos’ possible split.

Jim Jones Drops Visuals For “We Set The Trends” (Remix) Feat. ‎Lil Wayne, Migos, DJ Khaled & Juelz Santana

Screen Shot 2022 04 13 at 4.44.59 PM

Jim Jones has gathered Lil Wayne, Migos, DJ Khaled, and Juelz Santana for the official remix of “We Set The Trends.”

Directed by Shila The Don, Jim Jones, Will C and Denity, Khaled is seen chilling in his classic, white maybach claiming no one believed in us, but God did! Lil Wayne starts off his first verse spitting iconic bars, per usual. The superstars all stand around in the cypher, rhyming over the horns melody. Juelz Santana then enters the scene on a rooftop with Jones with the global Diplomats logo covering the ground. Santana says “Gave them a head start now I’m shaving the distance, need mine with interest to be more specific,” dripped out in the most fashionable way, harlem-style.

Jim Jones & DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz  We Set The Trends was released on January 14th, distributed through #VLrecords EMPIRE. The project marks the duo’s first collaboration since 2006’s The Seven Day Theory.
