Doja Cat might not be invited back to next year’s Met Gala after she was spotted vaping on multiple occasions at the event on Monday night. Anna Wintour and Met Museum Costume Institute curator-in-charge Andrew Bolton both remarked that smoking is a surefire way to get banned from the Met Gala during an interview with CBS’ Gayle King.

“What’s the best way to be invited and what’s the best way to never be invited back again? What really ticks you off, Anna?” King asked the two. “Smoking in the gallery,” Andrew interjected. “Touching the art.” “Smoking, yes,” Anna agreed, while Andrew added, “Those would be no-nos.”

Fans caught Doja vaping in the background of an interview between Emma Chamberlain and Jennie. The moment quickly went viral on social media. The Planet Her rapper previously spoke about smoking nicotine-free vapes during a conversation with Interview Magazine, last month.

“I haven’t smoked nicotine in like 10 weeks,” she told the publication. “And then Elle just came out with a shoot where I’m smoking a cigarette, but it was when I was smoking. They’ve had these photos in this interview for a thousand years, and now people are like, ‘Oh my God, she’s smoking again.’ But I don’t smoke. I’m nicotine free. And I love nicotine free vapes. Any zero nicotine vape doesn’t hit, it just feels like you’re breathing and it’s like, ‘What is this?’ It feels pointless. But this thing really feels… It hits, it has the same effect. I also got hypnotherapy.”

A$AP Rocky has apologized to the woman he jumped over at The Met Gala.

A$AP Rocky was set to attend the 2023 Met Gala, but it appeared he was running a bit late. Earlier in the evening, Rihanna was spotted entering The Carlyle Hotel solo. Then, to some fans’ surprise, Rocky was hopping a barricade to enter the building while other fans were strolling out.

He would later emerge dressed, next to a stunning Rihanna.

The next day A$AP Rocky hit Twitter with an apology.

There were a lot of fabulous outfits on display at the Met Gala 2023. From Ice Spice to Doja Cat, everyone was showing out. The fits on display ranged from the vanilla to the stylish to the furry. This year’s theme was in honor of the late, and controversial, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. However, one outfit that turned heads both on the red carpet and on social media was that of Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian showed up in a barely there pearl bead dress. Rows upon rows of pearls adorned the reality star’s upper body and legs, tied together with an off-white corset. The dress came courtesy of Schiaparelli, the iconic Italian fashion house. However, the outfit drew comparisons to another iconic Kim K look for many spectators. She walked the red carpet alone but attended the rest of the event with her daughter, North. Furthermore, she was briefly seen interacting with ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson at the event.

Let’s go back to 2007 for a moment. As the Bush presidency wound down and the world unknowingly moved towards a crippling financial crisis, Kim Kardashian began to take the spotlight. Cardi B turned many heads at Monday’s Met Gala. She donned not one, not two, but three outfits throughout the event, each one extravagant and attention-grabbing.

In a new behind-the-scenes video with Vogue, the rapper talked about getting ready for the important evening and shared details about her iconic ensembles. “My inspirations for this look, it’s just Chanel and Karl. It’s a little mix, because if you see the top, it’s giving the infamous Karl suits with the tie, the white collar. Almost like his suit, but not really,” she said. “At the bottom, if you see the skirt it has the camellias, which is the flower. So yeah, it’s just a little bit of everything. It’s representing the house of Chanel and Karl. Karl is so infamous for his gray hair.”

“Every single time that I got to the Met, it’s fun of course,” she continued. “After my first time going to the Met, I always get anxiety. And the anxieties just grow and grow and grow.” She added, “Maybe because my looks are so spectacular that people just expect every year to be more amazing than the last, and it’s so hard because imagine competing with myself. That is sickening.”

The rapper used a blanket as a cloak while his partner wore an extra-long Balenciaga coat, keeping herself concealed. They previously skipped out on appearing in 2022. This year, however, Rihanna made it clear she would be stepping out in style. Last weekend, she teased the big news in a vintage Chanel outfit during a dinner in New York. Some have said that Rih’s prelude look was even better than the one she served at the main event.

While her extravagant, floral design, accessorized with eyelash-clad sunglasses obviously wasn’t for everyone, the look the expecting mother wore for Dua Lipa’s after-party has the internet singing her praise. On hosting duty for Vogue was La La Anthony, who spoke with a number of celebrities about their designer outfits for the evening. Among them were Ice Spice, as well as Cardi B, who’s been friends with the Power actress for some time now. Of course, it’s well known that Anthony is popular within the Hollywood circle, as she has close relationships with stars like Kim Kardashian and Ciara, just to name a few.

Despite her obviously being well-liked, internet trolls still tried to start beef between the Invasion of Privacy rapper and La La after seeing a video of their interview on Twitter. “It’s so obvious that she can’t stand her😭💀,” one of them wrote, getting attention from Cardi herself, who didn’t hesitate to clear up the speculation with a quickness. “Not true,” she wrote on Tuesday (May 2). “I talk to La La more than any celeb… She knows everything!!! Teyana Taylor Orders Chick-fil-A At The Met

Teyana Taylor probably had the best time going to this year’s Met Gala. Although most times when we see Teyana outside, she’s usually enjoying life to the fullest, so this is nothing new. However, some of her celeb friends (Pusha T) weren’t feeling her choice of meal at the esteemed event. Teyana Taylor “embarrassed” her former labelmate by ordering Chick-fil-A to the Met. Push jokingly called out Teyana saying she was “embarrassing” him in front of all his celebrity friends.

Not only that, Pusha T posted on his Instagram story of the ordeal. “Teyana Taylor’s embarrassing me. She brought [Chick-fil-A] to the #MetGala. I want her away from me!…#HARLEM,” wrote the “Nosestalgia” rapper. He later added that even R&B legend Usher tried to stop Teyana Taylor, but to no avail. Although it was quite the spectacle, this is hardly the first time we’ve seen celebrities bring “normal people” food into a swanky event.
