Foolio Explains How He Got Shot, Claims It Was Because Of A Vape

When you have a strong addiction to something, odds are that you will see signs along the way that you should take a better path. However, some habits are very hard to beat, and even life-threatening situations can’t always reset that switch in your mind. That’s what apparently recently happened to Foolio, who recovered earlier this month following a shooting in his home city of Jacksonville. Moreover, he recalled on Instagram Live how he was at a gas station when someone shot him in the foot. Specifically, the rapper stopped at the establishment to get a vape, a vape that he kept on hitting in the Live clip in which he talks about the near-fatal experience.

Furthermore, this got a lot of people debating in the comments, whether they’re Foolio fans or they just happened to come across coverage of his statement. Many came to the conclusion that, if a bullet didn’t turn things fatal in this case, then continued nicotine use certainly could. Others made jokes insensitive jokes about passing away over an Elf bar, while some expressed that this should’ve been a sing for him to stop. No matter how you slice it, the Florida native should be grateful that both attempts on his life, with violence and poor health, have been unsuccessful so far.

Foolio Smokes The Vape That Got Him Shot: Watch

In other Foolio news, YK Osiris recently blasted him for exposing Osiris for allegedly giving him NBA YoungBoy’s location amid their beef. “This s**t is so l*me, bro,” he quipped. “I gotta get on here and defend myself every freakin’ time. I be chillin’, drinking my margarita. A n***a wanna come up here and cap, and get clickbaits. Man, leave me the f**k out of that, n***a. You know damn well I ain’t got nothing to do with that. Stand on your own. You a man, bruh, stand on your own. I’m not with none of that, bruh. That ain’t no real n***a s**t.”

Meanwhile, we’ll see what other antics the Jacksonville native gets into; hopefully, they aren’t as dangerous or life-threatening as these. It’s always tough to fight addictions with a lifestyle that makes you depend on them. Still, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. 6ix9ine Involved In New Lawsuit, Vape Companies Battle Over Endorsement

Tekashi 6ix9ine is involved in yet another lawsuit. The 27-year-old is now at the center of a legal battle between two vape companies. The rapper’s vape brand Dummy Vapes is suing Fume, alleging that they’ve been trying to get him to endorse their vaping products despite an exclusive deal they have with him.

According to Dummy Vapes, 6ix9ine agreed to “exclusively endorse” their vaping products in February of this year. In the suit, they claim that Fume offered 6ix9ine $1 million to meet with them earlier this summer, but he turned their offer down. Fume then allegedly contacted 6ix9ine’s partner, Yailin la Mas Viral, and offered her a $250K contract. In July, the rapper entered into a merchandising deal with Fume. The brand released various flavors, some of which were reportedly named “Dumy Vapes by Fume.”

Dummy Vapes Suing Fume

The brand claims that 6ix9ine clarified at one point that he only works with Fume under Yailin la Mas Viral’s deal. Dummy Vapes, however, alleges that when they spent $60K for him to take a private jet to an event to promote their products, he backed out. According to them, he canceled his appearance “due to directives from Fume.” The brand is seeking damages from Fume for allegedly meddling in their relationship with 6ix9ine.

Unfortunately, the vape drama is not the only legal battle 6ix9ine’s gotten wrapped up in as of late. He was also sued by tattoo artist Takashi Matsuba earlier this summer for alleging that he used to use drugs. In documentaries on both Showtime and Hulu, the rapper claimed that the artist was the inspiration for his rap moniker. He added, however, that Matsuba was a former heroin addict. In his suit, Matsuba says that he lost various friends as well as his wife due to 6ix9ine’s false statements. What are your thoughts about the two vape companies’ legal battle over 6ix9ine’s endorsement? Doja Cat Might Not Be Invited Back To Met Gala For Vaping

Doja Cat might not be invited back to next year’s Met Gala after she was spotted vaping on multiple occasions at the event on Monday night. Anna Wintour and Met Museum Costume Institute curator-in-charge Andrew Bolton both remarked that smoking is a surefire way to get banned from the Met Gala during an interview with CBS’ Gayle King.

“What’s the best way to be invited and what’s the best way to never be invited back again? What really ticks you off, Anna?” King asked the two. “Smoking in the gallery,” Andrew interjected. “Touching the art.” “Smoking, yes,” Anna agreed, while Andrew added, “Those would be no-nos.”

Fans caught Doja vaping in the background of an interview between Emma Chamberlain and Jennie. The moment quickly went viral on social media. The Planet Her rapper previously spoke about smoking nicotine-free vapes during a conversation with Interview Magazine, last month.

“I haven’t smoked nicotine in like 10 weeks,” she told the publication. “And then Elle just came out with a shoot where I’m smoking a cigarette, but it was when I was smoking. They’ve had these photos in this interview for a thousand years, and now people are like, ‘Oh my God, she’s smoking again.’ But I don’t smoke. I’m nicotine free. And I love nicotine free vapes. Any zero nicotine vape doesn’t hit, it just feels like you’re breathing and it’s like, ‘What is this?’ It feels pointless. But this thing really feels… It hits, it has the same effect. I also got hypnotherapy.”

Doja Cat’s Met Gala appearance comes as she prepares for the release of her next album. In a tweet posted last week, she hinted towards dropping the lead single from the project within the next month. Be on the lookout for more information regarding new music from the rapper in the coming weeks.
