The mother of one allegedly first got into contact with the Yeezy founder after a mutual friend received an inquiry about Fox from West. He apparently called her up dozens of times, only to dominate the conversation. During that outing, the “Off the Grid” artist bluntly asked Fox if they could date and take their union public. This is when she began to grow concerned about the validity of their fling. “I feel like he’s using me in some weird, twisted game. It makes me feel dirty,” the fashionista wrote in her book. The final few days of their time together took place in Paris for Fashion Week, where Julia and Kanye argued frequently, according to her recount of the events. When gifting her and friends Birkin bags, he allegedly made them recreate photos and videos of the moment several times, rubbing the starlet the wrong way.

Elsewhere in her Down the Drain memoir, Julia Fox revealed that Kanye West offered to pay for her breast augmentation during their relationship. Jada Pinkett Smith reveals that she suffers from “bouts of depression” in her new book, Worthy. PEOPLE published an excerpt from the upcoming memoir, last week. In the section, Jada explains that despite her successful career and marriage, she finds herself dealing with moments where “helplessness” floods in.

In doing so, she recalls battling with a mental break around her 40th birthday. “I want to be grateful for this moment, for this opportunity, but a feeling of helplessness floods me…” she writes. “Don’t be afraid, I tell myself. You are in peaceful, beautiful Ojai. Why are you so scared? Because, I answer right back, what if THIS actually kills me?”

From there, she continues: “Three months earlier, in the wake of my fortieth birthday, my biggest worry was Well, what if it DOESN’T? For two decades, I had been putting on a good face, going with the flow, telling everyone I was okay. Yet underneath, bouts of depression and overwhelming hopelessness had smoldered until they turned into raging hellfire in my broken heart. Unwelcome feelings — of not deserving love — made it harder to understand the disconnect between the so-called perfect life I had achieved and the well of loss I carried with me. Therapy helped up to a point. It got me to forty! But to what end?”

Elsewhere, she describes “checking off boxes” to prove she lives a happy life and how those “boxes” haven’t supplied her with the joy she expected. “I followed the rules … the rules we’re told to follow. After much anticipation, Julia Fox’s memoir, Down The Drain, has finally arrived. Longtime fans of the Uncut Gems starlet have been eager to read all about the tumultuous ups and downs of her life before fame. As for hip-hop heads, they’re mostly curious about the few months that Fox was in Kanye West’s orbit. The unconventional pair attended Fashion Week (and various other events) together in early 2022, though it wasn’t long before their differences, and the intensity surrounding Ye’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, drove them apart.

Prior to her book’s release, Fox shared with the press that the nature of her and the rapper’s relationship wasn’t sexual. However, as Page Six notes, she did reveal that West offered to pay for her plastic surgery while they spent the day playing card and word games. “We spen[t] the day playing Uno and a game that involves highlighting positive words in the dictionary,” an excerpt published by The Guardian this past weekend says. During that link-up, the “Through the Wire” hitmaker reportedly told Julia, “I’ll get you a boob job if you want.”

While Julia Fox continues to replay her short-lived fling with Kanye West for the media, the father of four has obviously moved on with Bianca Censori. Fox has been on a bit of a press tour in recent weeks promoting the project. She’s notably for editorials in Cybr Magazine and on the cover of King Kong‘s Americana issue.

Those photoshoots saw the 33-year-old dramatically switching up her look and flaunting her slim thick body. However, what’s really caught our attention is the latest post on her Instagram feed. On Friday (September 29) afternoon, Fox posted a promotional video for her soon-to-be-released book. It consists of behind-the-scenes clips captured during modelling gigs. She’s admitted to having work done on her body in the past. Still, it’s obvious that the entertainer has been spending time in the gym lately too. She clearly looks more shredded than ever before.

As noted in her caption, Fox will be hosting a box release event at Palladium Times Square on October 10th. The event begins at 6 PM and will wrap by 7:30, with tickets starting at $86. I didn’t want to skip over things. So maybe some things are too detailed,” Fox continued. However, when asked about sleeping with Ye, she said we won’t be reading about what because it’s not how the pair spent their time together. “There, like, wasn’t any. It wasn’t really about that,” she told the outlet.

Juicy J says that Mac Miller once brought a “party pack” of tons of different drugs to the studio prior to his death. He reflected on the moment during a recent interview with Allison Kugel. Juicy says he regrets not taking the drugs away from him and being a better influence.

“We was in the recording studio and he had a party pack … it’s like every kind of drug you can take and it’s in a pack or a box or whatever,” Juicy J said. “He pulls out this box and pops a couple of things and he offers me some coke. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have snatched that box. And I know he probably would have tried to fight me, but I would have snatched that box and I would’ve dumped it in the toilet and flushed it.”

From there, Juicy discussed his broader relationship with the late rapper. “I knew Mac Miller when he was like 17,” he told Kugel. “I threw his 18th birthday party at my studio … He was like a little brother to me. I hated to see him do that. He was around 25 or 26 before he passed, so he a grown-ass man. I seen what he was doing, I didn’t say anything. I just told him, ‘I’m cool, I’m straight. Let’s just finish the music.’ I swear, if I could turn back the hands of time, I would have snatched that box and thrown that box across the street.”

Michael Oher Referenced Conservatorship In 2011 Memoir

More details continue to emerge about the horrifying situation surrounding Michael Oher. Oher, who played in the NFL was 2009 to 2016, was made famous by his life story. His inspiring story served as the basis for the Oscar-winning film, The Blind Side. Oher, who is Black, was adopted by the white Tuohy family after they met him at an elite Memphis private school attended by their biological children.

However, Oher has claimed this week that he was never legally adopted by the Tuohy family. Instead, he claims he was tricked into entering into a conservatorship. That arrangement gave the Tuohys full financial control over his life and life story. Oher, 37, is seeking an end to the conservatorship as well as financial restitution. The Tuohy family has not denied the arrangement, but calls Oher’s lawsuit “insulting”. Furthermore, the family has alleged that Oher demanded $15 million from them before filing the lawsuit.

However, a major point of contention about Oher’s claims that he only discovered the truth in February of 2023 is a passage from his 2011 memoir. In I Beat The Odds: From Homelessness, to The Blind Side, and Beyond, Oher directly referenced the conservatorship. “Sean and Leigh Anne would be named as my ‘legal conservators. They explained to me that it means pretty much the exact same thing as ‘adoptive parents,’ but that the laws were just written in a way that took my age into account. Honestly, I didn’t care what it was called. I was just happy that no one could argue that we weren’t legally what we already knew was real: We were a family.”

This is being used as some sort of gotcha that Oher was fully aware of the situation he was in. However, let’s break this text down. “Sean and Leigh Anne would be named as my ‘legal conservators. They explained to me that it means pretty much the exact same thing as ‘adoptive parents,’ but that the laws were just written in a way that took my age into account.” Oher’s claim is that he was tricked into signing a conservatorship. This is 13-year-old proof of that. There are huge legal differences between adoption and legal conservatorship. Telling an 18-year-old with little legal knowledge that they are “pretty much the exact same thing” is indeed tricking them into signing a document that benefits you and not them. This is a developing story.

Jeezy Recalls Having “Suicidal Thoughts” For A “Brief Moment”

Jeezy says that he went through a “brief moment” he considered suicide while attending a Youth Challenge program in Fort Stewart, Georgia. He discussed the period from his life while speaking with PEOPLE. The interview comes amid of the release of his new memoir, Adversity For Sale.

“You’re basically in the Marines or the Army and people are telling you what to do. You gotta shine your boots,” the Atlanta rapper recalled. “I don’t know about anybody else [but] I’m just not good at being told what to do. And I’m coming from a place where I’m basically a boss. But maybe a few weeks in I’m like, ‘Hold up, I’m working out.’ It taught me structure. And it took me out of the environment that I was in for me to become even more focused than I was because I thought I was focused, but I really wasn’t. I didn’t have a plan. I just was going through the motions.”

From there, Jeezy continued: I remember standing there and saying to myself: ‘Man, if you go back home and you don’t figure this out. Because I don’t want to end up like my friends.’ My friends became junkies and they were getting killed and all these things. So it was all this stuff in my head. I just remember standing there and it was for a brief moment, I would say at least about 10 minutes, I actually contemplated jumping in the water. I had never had suicidal thoughts, but I [thought], ‘Well, shit, if I just jump in the water, I ain’t gotta deal with this, I ain’t gotta go back home, I gotta do none of these things.’”

Britney Spears Announces Memoir, “The Woman In Me”

Britney Spears will be releasing a memoir titled The Woman in Me on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023. Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will be publishing the work. Spears shared an announcement video for the book on Instagram, Tuesday.

“Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery,” Jennifer Bergstrom, Gallery Books Senior Vice President and Publisher, told PEOPLE. “I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”

The book promises to reveal “for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history,” while also showing “the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.” The press release also described The Woman in Me as “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”

Spears first teased the idea of writing a memoir in 2022, after the infamous legal battle she endured to end her conservatorship. The announcement of Spears’ memoir arrives just days after she made headlines for an altercation with the security team for San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. She claimed to have been “back-handed” in the face by a security guard in Las Vegas. Las Vegas police later determined that the singer inadvertently “hit herself in the face” while reaching for the 19-year-old.
