Tina Knowles-Lawson Suffers $1M Theft At LA Home

Reports have emerged that a burglary occurred at the home of Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé, earlier this week. It is believed that the theft occurred on July 4. However, it was only discovered on the morning of July 5. It is believed that Knowles was not present at the LA estate when the burglary reportedly occurred. Furthermore, it was discovered by an associate who had stopped by the house the morning after.

TMZ has reported that a safe was removed from the house, along with the cash and jewelry worth over $1 million that was inside. Police declined to provide details on how the thieves got inside, or how they were able to remove the safe from the property. At the time of writing, the police reportedly have minimal leads. Reportedly, they are currently speaking with neighbors and reviewing security footage.

It’s a massive collection that includes $30,000 worth of rings, a $60,000 watch, and a $100,000 glow-in-the-dark pendant. According to the Instagram post from the alleged thief, the watch and the pendant, which had been designed by Rebel’s son, were the items that had been stolen.

50 Cent Is Skeptical Of Los Angeles’ New Zero-Bail Policy

50 Cent has always been one of the most outspoken artists from hip-hop, whether it’s about the genre, TV, business, politics, and much more. Just a week ago, he even commented on rival Ja Rule’s concert antics, where he came out in a stretcher and was “revived.” However, his most recent take online concerned his disapproval of a reinstated bail policy in Los Angeles concerning misdemeanor charges (not more serious crimes). Moreover, these crimes specifically include burglary, shoplifting, drug use, vandalism, and misdemeanor battery. Under the new law, offenders of these crimes will not be arrested in their detainment and will instead go through a normal court process.

In addition, the city will free currently incarcerated individuals who they arrested on these charges and other similar offenses. Of course, this is a big step in cutting unjust prison time for low-level offenders, especially in trial. Still, 50 Cent believes that this will end up being a negative thing for the L.A. community. Lil Wayne Will Livestream Final “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour Stop

If you didn’t get a chance to catch Lil Wayne on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, at least you now have a chance to witness its greatness from the comfort of your home. Moreover, Weezy announced on Monday (May 1) that he and his team will livestream the trek’s final stop, which is in The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on May 13. Furthermore, the stream will begin at 9 p.m. PDT (12 a.m. EDT) that night, followed by a rebroadcast at 8 p.m. AEST and 8 p.m. BST the next day. These would be 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. in eastern time, respectively.

Also on May 14, the show will be available to purchase on-demand starting at 5 p.m. EDT, and said availability ends at 5 p.m. EDT on May 16. In order to access these airings and recordings, fans will pay $15 for their livestream tickets, which are available here.
