Latto Performs At Coachella, Seemingly Shades Nicki Minaj & Previews New Music

It was a markedly wild weekend at Coachella, from Bad Bunny’s technical difficulties during his headlining set on night one to Frank Ocean’s disappointing return to the stage on Sunday (April 16). Somewhere in between those two milestones, Latto finally graced the Sahara stage with her presence. She obviously pulled out some of her discography’s most popular releases, much to fans’ pleasure. Aside from blessing the crowd with her own talent, the Atlanta-based artist also brought out Saweetie, as well as Tia Corrine to perform “Freaky T.” On top of those two surprises, she also gave Megan Thee Stallion a shoutout during her performance.

While there was certainly lots of evidence of Latto being a self-proclaimed “girl’s girl,” we did also hear her appear to throw shade at another rap diva – Nicki Minaj. The two famously beefed on social media a few weeks back, and while they never officially squashed it, both artists made it sound as though they had moved on from the drama. However, the 24-year-old poked the bear once again at Coachella, seemingly dissing the mother of one in an unreleased track she previewed during yesterday’s set.

Latto Teases New Song at Coachella

“Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through / She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds,” the “Wheelie” hitmaker chiefly spits in the unnamed track. “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke / Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor,” the speculative single continues. While she doesn’t definitively name-drop the “Super Bass” artist in the song, it wasn’t hard for fans to piece the puzzle together.

The blonde beauty also appeared to address her situation with Minaj once more before leaving the stage but again, no exact names were used. “Pussy hoe, let a bitch know, we tired of the subtweets this year,” she said while exiting the stage, seemingly in reference to her Twitter beef with the 40-year-old a few months back. Lil Tjay Performs For Massive Crowd In Paris After Shooting Recovery

At just 21 years old, Lil Tjay has been through a lot – including being shot seven times last June. At the time, the young lyricist was hours away from hopping on a flight to Paris. This obviously never came to be as a result of his nearly fatal injuries. He’s taken the time since then to recover and focus on his health – still showing out with noteworthy new music releases from time to time. Now that he’s feeling more like himself again, Tjay finally took his flight to France this past weekend. He performed in the city of love for a crowd who was nothing short of enthused to see him back on stage.

On Sunday (April 16), Akademiks posted a video from the recent event. It shows hundreds of people shining light from their phones back at Tjay as he entertains them. “I got shot right before I got on the plane,” the “Beat the Odds” artist reflected at the show. “I got a second chance at life,” he also noted before launching into a fan favourite from his discography.

Lil Tjay Does it Big in Paris

On his own Instagram feed, Tjay has been commerating his time overseas with plenty of content. He began the month of April in Israel, later travelling to Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Hungary. Earlier this week, he also hit up Italy. To mark his time in France, the lyricist cleverly referenced a bar from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N*ggas in Paris” in his caption. “If you escaped what I escaped, you’d be in Paris getting f*cked up too!! 🤷🏾‍♂️🍻,” it reads.

Speaking of Hov, he also made an appearance in the capital of France this weekend. The father of three was tapped to perform at Louis Vuitton’s surprise concert in honour of Andy Warhol and Jean Michel-Basquiat, during which he rapped his and Ye’s 2011 hit, along with a host of other popular tracks. Aside from those performances, music lovers have also been raving about sets at both Coachella and Rolling Loud Thailand over the past few days. Scroll on to see more photos and videos from Lil Tjay’s Eurotrip, and tap back in later for more hip-hop news updates.

Monica Stops Fight At Her Concert: Video

Monica does not want you fighting at her shows, especially not when she’s singing a love song. The Grammy-winning icon had to shut down an altercation between two fans at her show on April 1 in D.C. She was in the middle of singing her acclaimed 1995 ballad “Why I Love You So Much” when the spat broke out. It appears that she didn’t realize what was happening at first, but it soon became impossible to ignore. Unfortunately for patrons who were simply there to enjoy the show, Monica had to stop the song to say something to the two women.

After signaling to the DJ to stop the backing track, the singer spoke directly to the concertgoers involved. “Come on now, I’m singing a love song. I ain’t singing ‘Knuck If You Buck,’ baby, calm that shit down.” However, not even Monica could get the two to stop, and their confrontation continued. In an attempt to return peace to the crowd, the R&B icon tried to do one of the women involved a solid. “Somebody take her, get her a drink on me. Calm down,” she said.

Monica Has Feuding Fans Removed

After Monica couldn’t stop the conflict between the fans, she had to tell security to remove them. The other audience members appeared pleased as the mood killers were escorted from the venue. While they left, the singer dedicated a performance of her 2003 single “So Gone” to the women. As it turns out, Monica herself is no stranger to physical altercations. During a now infamous performance of their 1998 single, “The Boy Is Mine,” she and Brandy seemed extremely tense.

It was noticeable at the time, and it seems even more obvious watching it now. Especially considering we know that Monica had punched Brandy in the face directly before the two performed. It’s a piece of pop culture history that is now the stuff of legend. Luckily, the pair have since quashed their beef, and have even gone on to show each other love. What do you think about the altercation in the video? Was it was serious enough to warrant tossing the fans out? Let us know in the comments.

Megan Thee Stallion Fan Arrested For Impersonating Police Officer In Hopes Of Meeting Houston Hottie

Some fans would do anything to meet Megan Thee Stallion – including face felony charges for impersonating an officer. This past weekend, local barber Trayvone Lil Darus Stevenson did just that, dressing as a member of the K-9 unit last Friday (March 31) to catch the rap diva’s first performance of the year at the AT&T Block Party. According to ABC 13, the man successfully gained admission into the concert by telling the administration on-site that he was working as security for the sold-out event.

While he surely felt great about making it into the venue, Stevenson was ultimately arrested around 8 PM, before the object of his desire even began her performance. It seems the 28-year-old spent his weekend at the Harris County Jail. Now, he’s facing charges of impersonating a public servant. Attorneys working on the case claim that the accused “has no qualifications as any type of law enforcement officer.” It’s also worth noting that the barber didn’t bring a dog with him to the AT&T Block Party, despite choosing to dress in a K-9 unit vest.

Houston Barber Dresses as K-9 Officer to Meet Megan Thee Stallion

Yesterday (April 3), Stevenson was granted a $15,000 bond by the judge presiding over his antics, KHOU reported. Because he has no previous record, he was able to bond out following his hearing, court records reveal. Despite the relatively quick release, Prosecutor Mathew Jackson made it abundantly clear that “this is still a felony case,” and what the Houstonian hairstylist attempted to pull off is a serious breach of the law. “Megan Thee Stallion is a fantastic draw, big draw, especially here in Houston, but this is still a felony case. You cannot go and impersonate an officer to get into a concert venue,” he insisted.

The 28-year-old hasn’t responded to the situation herself, which is completely understandable seeing as she had the most jam-packed weekend we’ve seen in a minute. Aside from performing in her hometown for the first time in years, Thee Stallion also threw the first pitch at an Astros game in a curve-hugging all-white outfit a few days ago. On top of that, she also linked up with Shania Twain at the annual Country Music Awards, which you can read all about here. Make sure to check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Megan Thee Stallion Out-Twerked By Male Fan, Links Up With Shania Twain At The CMAs

She’s only just getting used to being back outside after a few months out of the spotlight, but already, Megan Thee Stallion is as booked and busy as ever. To kick off her weekend, the Hot Girl Coach gave her first performance of 2023 in her hometown on Friday (March 31), which saw her twerking skills put to shame by a fan. While many female lovers of the rap diva have been known to show what their knees can do, this time around, it was a man who broke the internet with his behind.

In a video that’s circulating online, Thee Stallion and a group of Hotties dance along to one of her twerk-worthy anthems. Many of those surrounding the “Big Ole Freak” hitmaker are women who had their booties bouncing along to the beat. At one point, she turned around to give the audience a view of her cheeks clapping, at which time she noticed a man on the stage who was making his presence felt with his dance moves. After noticing his talent, Meg quickly moved out of the way to hype the entertainer up while he continued to shake every ounce of junk in his trunk.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Twerking Put to Shame by Fan

Since @theneighborhoodtalk shared the clip on Sunday (March 2), countless users have been leaving hilarious comments. “He been practicing in the mirror for this very moment 😂!” one person joked. “He threw it in a circle better than most of us chile 😂😂,” and “Ok McLovin! 🗣🙌🙌🙌,” others later quipped. Even from just the brief footage, we can tell that Thee Stallion’s return to the stage was obviously exactly what she and her fanbase hoped it would be after a tumultuous end to 2022.

To end her weekend, the 28-year-old stepped out for another public appearance while celebrating country music. For tonight’s annual CMA Awards, she donned a ’70s disco-inspired look, consisting of a custom Defience blue dress that markedly comes complete with a sultry hip cutout and large white buckle. As has become tradition lately, her hair was worn in a bold afro, and perfectly matched by her giant hoop earrings. Keep scrolling to catch photos of Megan Thee Stallion and her Canadian friend, Shania Twain, at the event. Make sure to check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Lil Uzi Vert On “The Tonight Show”: Watch Rapper Perform “Just Wanna Rock”

Lil Uzi Vert has been doing their part to keep listeners enticed lately, frequently hinting at an upcoming collaboration with Playboi Carti. Earlier this month, a version of their “Sauce Real Hard” single surfaced online, generating plenty of buzz for what else the duo may be cooking up. Aside from that, the Philly-born rapper was also announced as a part of Pharrell’s Something In The Water festival lineup, along with Lil Wayne and other famous friends.

More recently on LUV’s agenda, however, was last night’s (March 27) appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The eccentric artist didn’t sit down to converse with the host, though they did drop by to perform 2022’s “Just Wanna Rock,” which has quickly become a favourite from their discography. Surrounded by a crew of talented dancers, Lil Uzi brings out impressive moves of his own while letting out the track’s brief verses.

Lil Uzi Vert on The Tonight Show

“Hit it once, no ties, how the f*ck you gon’ kill my vibe? / Stand on my money, don’t know my size / Pick them sides, and you better choose wisely / That’s my high, one, two, three, four, throw up the five, that’s my high,” the fast-paced lyrics go. While there isn’t much to the words, the Jersey-club-inspired “Just Wanna Rock” beat had audiences in the studio and at home grooving along with the 27-year-old’s performance.

Earlier this year, ahead of the Super Bowl, DJ Drama sparked an interesting hip-hop debate by suggesting that Lil Uzi Vert’s single could replace Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as the Philadelphia Eagles’ unofficial anthem. While many understood what the Generation Now founder was getting at with his comments, even the rappers themselves argued that the latter song could never be topped. “I don’t think so,” the “Myron” artist responded at the time. “That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever.” Check out a video of LUV’s performance on Fallon above, and tune in later for more hip-hop news updates.

Snoop Dogg Denies Beef With Chris Rock, Says He Wants To Perform At King Charles’ Coronation

As King Charles III’s long-awaited coronation quickly approaches, Snoop Dogg is throwing his hat in the ring to perform at the royal ceremony. The gig was previously offered to names like Elton John, Adele, and Harry Styles, though none of them were particularly eager to take on the responsibility. Seeing as the late Queen Elizabeth allowed the rapper to stay in the UK back in the ’90s as haters made an attempt to ban him, however, the Doggfather would be happy to pay his respects to the monarchy and its new leader.

“When they tried to kick me out of England, the Queen made a comment that her grandbabies loved Snoop Doggy Dogg, and he had done no wrong in Britain,” the Death Row Records owner recalled in a 2015 interview. “Those grandbabies grew up to be Prince William and Harry, so I had influence on them, and they had influence on their grandmother, which enabled me to get into this beautiful country. They love my music, and it is what it is.” In a more recent chat with The Sun, he confirmed, “I’m down to perform at the coronation. Make it happen.”

Snoop Dogg Expresses Interest in Coronation Performance

Nothing has been confirmed as of now, but seeing as the Palace appears to be having a tough time booking its headliner, Snoop Dogg may become their only option, which would certainly be a show to remember. Elsewhere in the news, the “Gin N Juice” hitmaker is shutting down rumours of any beef between him and Chris Rock following the comedian’s Selective Outrage Netflix special. The stand-up show has markedly earned him backlash for his comments on Meghan Markle and Jada Pinkett-Smith, and it seems some were also upset by his comments about the recording artist too.

While poking fun at Snoop, Rock compared his friend to Morgan Freeman, who’s appeared in ads for products like Mountain Dew and the Professional Golf Association. As of late, the California native has also been heavily in his bag, lending his personality to various campaigns, which the Madasgcar couldn’t help but joke about earlier this month. While chatting with MailOnline, the 51-year-old confirmed that he didn’t take the comments to heart.

No Beef with Chris Rock, Rapper Says

“Chris Rock is my friend,” Snoop Dogg explained. “He was basically saying how did I go from being America’s Most Wanted, to America’s most loveable? It’s all about transformation, growth, development and being willing to accept change.” The industry icon went on to confirm that he “says no” to a lot of opportunities that come his way. “If I feel like your family and I believe what you believe in there’s no problem. You stand behind your brand, but there are some things in life that don’t mix with me and I can’t promote everything, so sometimes I do have to say no,” he shared. Do you want to see the Doggystyle hitmaker perform at the coronation in May? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news.

Megan Thee Stallion’s First 2023 Concert Taking Place In Houston This March

Some artists have already begun showing out in the first quarter of the year, dropping off singles and full-length projects to entertain audiences and show off for the competition. Megan Thee Stallion, on the other hand, has kept mostly quiet since the ending of Tory Lanez’s tumultuous trial. It ultimately concluded with the Canadian being found guilty of previously shooting her in the foot. While winning against the father of one certainly felt good, the Texas-born artist has been keeping any celebrations lowkey as defence lawyers attempt to free her assailant.

As per Uproxx, the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker has finally announced that she’s ready for a comeback. On Friday (March 10), it was revealed that she’ll be taking to the stage in her hometown later this month. She’ll be at the AT&T Block Party, which takes place from March 31st through April 2nd in Houston’s Discovery Green park. It’s scheduled to unfold at the same time as the Men’s Final Four weekend.

Megan’s Music Comeback

In a statement, Thee Stallion expressed her excitement over booking shows once again. “There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” she gushed. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe. I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”

Other names on the setlist include Lil Nas X, Maggie Rogers, and Mickey Guyton. Those acts are due to perform after Megan’s show, on the second and third days. It’s been noted that the 28-year-old’s last performance in her hometown dates back to 2019’s Astroworld Festival. This took place shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic shut most of the world down. The Houston hotties are surely grateful for their coach’s long-awaited return to the stage in the Lone Star state.

Future Endeavours for Thee Stallion

News of her return to the stage certainly has the internet buzzing, but it’s got nothing on the intrigue surrounding Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s reported B.A.P.S remake. Director Robert Townsend confirmed earlier this month that the “WAP” collaborators are among those who have asked to be cast in the project. Of course, nothing is official just yet, but many would love to see the two rap divas further their acting skills alongside each other. Read more about that here, and make sure to check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Rihanna’s Best Live Performances

Since her audacious debut with Pon De Replay in 2005, Rihanna has been an unstoppable sonic force in hip-hop. In what feels like a matter of moments, she has gone from sparkling ingenue to tour-de-force performance artist whose talents have found equal spotlights in the worlds of music, film and fashion. Her performance at Super Bowl LVII was only an inevitable bullet point on an already epic resume.

Still, like many of the greats – think Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige – it is Rihanna’s live performances where her genius is on full display. She might be performing for a sold-out stadium, but she has mastered the uncanny ability to individualize her productions, creating an intimacy between fans and herself that allows them to believe that they are in her orbit, if only until the song is over. Watching her live is to watch a virtuoso in the midst of an artistic renaissance happening one right after the other. In a matter of a few beats, she can go from coy and seductive to fierce and uncompromising.

When reflecting on her own performances, jazz chanteuse Nina Simone once said, “I want to shake people up so bad, that when they leave a nightclub where I’ve performed, I just want them to be to pieces.”

That ability to shake the earth and everyone on it is something that Rihanna can also claim to do. People are not just humming and dancing when they leave her arenas; they’re thinking, their brains rattling around even as their bodies are still moving to rhythms cast on the wind in their wake.

In looking at Rihanna’s oeuvre of performances, certain shows stand out more than others, though in no particular order:

Diamonds- 2014 Concert For Valor

Dressed in black sequins, with her hair as straight-as-a-ski-slope as it angles down her back, all Rihanna said was “Hello D.C.” before she launched into her song “Diamonds” at the 2014 Concert for Valor in the nation’s capital. She was only 26 at the time, and yet she held her own at a star-studded event where the roster of performers included Jennifer Hudson, David Grohl and Metallica. The entire show was broadcast on HBO.

Diamonds- 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Cue to the same song, but a different tenor. At the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – which capped in at 53 million views – Rihanna skipped all introductions as she sauntered on stage in a slinky black dress with a slit from ankle to hip. Black thigh highs offered a teasing glimpse of skin that fit the show’s theme of Dangerous Liaisons, a story that is all about the games men and women play when confusing love for power. Fog billowed around her as she crooned to the audience in an ultimate delivery of seduction and ‘look-but-don’t-touch’ vibes. The sunglasses with the white rims kept the number playful while the black opera gloves maintained an aura of class.

Love The Way You Lie/Not Afraid (Ft. Eminem)-2010 VMAs

After the release of her fifth studio album, Loud, which was released in 2010, the Barbadian songstress adopted a new look that included shockingly bright magenta hair and a roster of songs that were not afraid to seduce. In this S&M era, she joined forces with Eminem to perform “Love the Way You Lie / Not Afraid” at the 2010 VMAs. After Eminem performed with a sacrosanct prowess that was infused with gospel, Rihanna appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, like a waifish prom queen who has decided that she’s got more important things to talk about than who won king and queen that night. She had a song to sing and hearts to break, and she was going to deliver.

Bitch Better Have My Money-2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Even if she hadn’t been wearing the sour-apple-green faux fur, Rihanna would have commanded attention at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards – a show that nabbed 86 million views – with her rendition of “Bitch Better Have My Money”. As if adopting the adage ‘go big or go home’, Rihanna entered the stage by slyly stepping from a helicopter and then launching into a song and dance sequence that nailed every beat with a techno precision.

Love On The Brain-2016 Global Citizen Festival

In 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival, Rihanna asked her audience, “Are you ready?” before beginning her jazz-fueled ballad “Love on the Brain.” Everything about the performance called to mind a blues club where everyone knows everyone and everyone is willing to share their heartache. Between the occasional pauses so that her fans could sing the lyrics, to her own soft and subtle sways, this was a Rihanna who can tell the rest of us all about heartache.

Pon De Replay- AOL Sessions

When an artist has had the kind of robust and dynamic career that Rihanna has had, it is tempting to overlook the earliest material. That would be a mistake. In hindsight, Rihanna’s AOL sessions with “Pon De Replay” was a sneak peek at who she would become, both as an individual artist and as a person who knew how to make her name a brand that could not be replicated or minimized. She sang and danced on a minimalistic sound stage where red dominated, commanding the camera as if she were already a seasoned veteran. The dance moves were natural and uninhibited, making it clear that she was a performer who was on the verge of something unprecedented.

Chris Brown’s Best Performances

Whether you hate to admit it or not, Chris Brown is one of the greatest performers we have ever seen.  Just like there is always a conversation of who’s the greatest basketball player, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or LeBron James?  Or who’s the best rapper in this generation; Drake, Kendrick Lamar, or J.Cole?  For R&B, the conversation is always Michael Jackson, Usher Raymond, and then Chris Brown.

Last year, at Usher’s Las Vegas residency, he brought out Chris Brown to perform, in which he called his co-collaborator for “New Flame”, a “legend”.  Usher is right, Breezy is a legend.  He proves he can do it all as a singer, dancer, rapper, and actor.  You’re bound to get a bit of everything when you see him in concert.

Chris Brown has too many great performances to count.  Whether it be on tour, the Grammys, or the BET Awards, Breezy has always left it all on the stage.  Let’s take a look at the seven best performances from Chris Brown throughout his career.

7. Chris Brown sings “All Black” at 2011 American Music Awards

Although they rescinded their invitation for him to perform there in 2022, Brown hit the AMAs stage in 2011.  In a performance where he solely displayed his vocal abilities, Breezy put his heart in it when he sang “All Back”.  The slow ballad turned into the uptempo song, “Say It With Me”, where he put his moves on display, per usual.

6. Chris Brown Performs Hits at 2014 Soul Train Music Awards

Chris Brown’s ability to sing while dancing is what separates him from other artists.  Most singers often lip sync their lyrics while performing their moves, but not Breezy.  In this performance, he started off with his hit song “Yo”, where you can clearly hear his voice over the music.  He transitions to his hits like “Poppin”, “Take You Down”, and “New Flame”.

As the camera points to the crowd, you can see fellow artists enjoy the song, including Tank.  The R&B crooner caught himself trying to move like the Virginia artist at one point.  To wrap up this set, Breezy performed his hit, “Loyal”, which got some people off their feet.  Even nearing the end of his set, he still sounds good while dancing like his set just started.  It’s safe to say the man is in shape.

5. Breezy Gets Intimate at 2011 Summer Jam

Chris Brown gets intimate with his fans at the 2011 Summer Jam as he starts off with “Wet the Bed”.  He continues the theme by performing his slow jam, “Take You Down”.  The “No Guidance” singer has always been about his fans and is known to bring women on stage.  Of course, he did it at Summer Jam, too.

The woman on stage was subject to Breezy dancing and caressing her as she sat in a chair.   She even experienced a few intense thrust at one point as women all throughout the stadium went crazy longing to be her.

You can see Chris put his all into this performance nearly falling to his knees as he belted out “Take You Down”.

4. 2016 iHeartRadio Awards

In a set that shows all different sides of Breezy, iHeart fans were blessed in a set that was less than 10 minutes.  He starts with “Liquor” with his background dancers, but transitions to “Back to Sleep” by himself.  Brown is singing to a woman on stage before jumping into “Wrist”-literally.

As he raps “Wrist”, he dances along with his background dancers, but somehow he always manages to out do them.  His style is second to none.  Chris and his crew break out into his pop hit song, “Yeah 3x”.  Not too many artists can give you hits across different genres like Brown. And to top it all off, his clothing company, Black Pyramid, received a bit of promo during the set.

An-all around great performance by Breezy yet again.

3. Chris Brown performs in Timbs at the 2007 Grammys

Gliding down the stairs while coming out in a mask, Breezy started his performance with a step show before going in to his debut hit “Run It”.  Dancing in Timberland Boots is something we haven’t seen before and Chris makes it look easy.

Just like his MTV Awards performance that year, the “New Flame” singer performed alongside two kids that might be the future Breezy.  From backflips to handstands, he received a standing ovation.  And to think, he did it all on a sprained ankle and in TIMBS!  This could be considered his greatest performance based on the circumstances alone.

2. 2007 MTV Awards

Breezy’s first time performing at the MTV Video Music Awards was in 2007.  He started it theatrically, as he acted if he was trapped in a booth.  Two kids came to free him and he started dancing alongside them.  As the two kids leave, his dance crew forms behind him as Breezy makes some stunning moves.

As “Wall to Wall” begins, Brown jumps from the stage to another platform and the show starts.  With this being his first performance on this stage, it’s no secret that he was going to be lip syncing.  As “Wall to Wall” ends, Rihanna comes out to her hit song, “Umbrella”.  After a few moments, she approaches Chris and they dance together, shortly, before going their separate ways.  This is one of the first interactions we see of the two young superstars.

Breezy starts his Michael Jackson impression as his DJ plays “Billie Jean” in the background.  Moments like these are the reasons people say he is the second coming of MJ.  He maneuvers just like Michael did when he was on stage for a few seconds before going into his hit “Kiss Kiss”.   With the “Run It” artist jumping from platform to platform, moving like Michael, and dancing with Rihanna, there’s no way the crowd wasn’t entertained.

1. 2006 World Music Awards Michael Jackson Tribute

Breezy did a tribute to the King of Pop at the 2006 World Music Awards.  As soon as the light hit him, the audience started cheering and did not stop.   Chris comes out in the same red “Thriller” jacket Michael had on in the original video moving like MJ himself.  He re-creates the video on stage following a young woman serenading her while dancing.

Of course, Chris Brown and his crew perform the iconic dance scene that’s in the “Thriller“ music video, to which the crowd couldn’t get enough of.  You bet he received a standing ovation that night and he was only 16 years old!

Let us know your favorite Chris Brown performance in the comments!
