“Do You Love Me?” made its debut on streamers at midnight and is already getting tons of love from each artist’s fanbase. It comes in at just over three minutes and follows The Kid’s January joint effort with Famous Dex and Jay Critch.

Lil Tjay Joins Rich The Kid for “Do You Love Me?”

That single is titled “Where’s Dexter,” and it’s reportedly due to appear on the “Plug Walk” rapper’s forthcoming Life’s A Gamble album. “Do You Love Me?” is also among tracklist contenders. We don’t know what other guest features Rich has in the works at this time. Still, fans are certainly eager to hear his long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s BOSS MAN, his last solo effort.

That same year, The Kid went on to team up with NBA YoungBoy for their collaborative Nobody Safe project. In 2021, he and Lil Wayne also undeniably made their mark with the 10-track Trust Fund Babies mixtape. YG was the only other artist to join them, with all three lyricists markedly showing out on “Buzzin’.”

Lil Tjay Gifts Ice Spice $150K Richard Mille Watch on Valentine’s Day but the Two Aren’t Dating

Lil Tjay Gifts Ice Spice $150K Richard Mille Watch on Valentine's Day but the Two Aren't Dating

Lil Tjay put a $150,000 Richard Mille watch on Ice Spice‘s wrist for Valentine’s Day, but the rapper insists the two aren’t dating.

According to TMZ, TJay and Ice Spice aren’t an item, but the former wanted to give the “Munch” rapper a gift to celebrate their “Gangsta Boo” single hitting the Billboard Hot 100.

The watch was copped from NYC-based jewelry Benny the Jeweler, stating the watch is an RM-05 Rose Gold edition, equipped with a white band and the Valentine’s Day pickup is coincidental.

Last month, Lil Tjay was been arrested in the Bronx for gun possession. The rapper was reportedly headed to a video shoot with Ice Spice and was arrested after a gun was found in his car, according to TMZ.

Reports state Lil Tjay and Ice Spice were going to record a video for the single “Gangsta Boo.” The Post notes, Tjay was in an SUV with four friends and they were pulled over for tinted windows and a missing front plate. Four guns were inside the SUV.

Tjay’s arrest comes after he recovered from a shooting in the second half of 2022.

In Aug. 2022, Lil Tjay made a comeback with the release of “Beat the Odds.” The song’s title has special meaning as the 21-year-old platinum rapper’s meteoric climb to stardom abruptly came to an end after he survived a near-death encounter.

After being shot seven times, including once in the lung and multiple times in the neck and chest, Lil Tjay underwent treatment for gunshot wounds. The new single was the product of being inspired while recovering in the hospital.

Tjay portrays tenacity in the riveting music video and uses moving real-life footage of him recuperating in the hospital while family members visited him as his condition improved to inspire viewers.

Lil Tjay Gifts Ice Spice A Richard Mille Watch For Valentine’s Day

Ice Spice continues to dominate the rap game but she’s also one of the most sought-after women these days. Though the Internet might have jokes about her, she goes viral every single time she drops a new pic on Instagram. We’ve seen online celebrities like iShowSpeed and Druski shoot their shot, though only the former appeared to be successful in his attempt. Needless to say, Ice Spice has the Internet crushing on her as she continues to ascend to stardom.

With Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, there was clearly a rise in folks in her DMs and comments trying to catch her attention. During her recent performance at New York Fashion Week, one zealous fan attempted to shoot his shot in person. The individual got down on one knee and brought a bouquet of roses for her but unfortunately, Ice Spice rejected the gesture and walked away. Clearly, there needs to be more than roses involved to catch her attention.

Lil Tjay Fuels Dating Rumors With $120K Richard Mille For Ice Spice

Lil Tjay and Ice Spice proved that their chemistry is unmatched on wax when they teamed up on “Gangsta Boo.” The song propelled to the Billboard 100, marking Ice Spice’s first charting single. However, it appears that their relationship is deeper than music. Lil Tjay fueled dating rumors this week after he gifted her a six-figure watch. Benny The Jeweler revealed the Richard Mille timepiece that Tjay gifted to his “Gangsta Boo” collaborator. “When You Say You The King Of The City You Gotta Step Different EVERYTIME New Richard Millie RM-05 Rose Gold Gifted To @icespice from my brotha @liltjay,” Benny captioned the post.

Though Tjay and Ice Spice haven’t necessarily confirmed that their relationship is anything other than professional, they have been popping out together in recent times. In December, the two were spotted handing out turkeys for their Thanksgiving drive in the Bronx. Around the time Ice Spice dropped Like…?, she and Tjay returned to their stomping grounds to shoot the music video. Unfortunately, police arrested Lil Tjay and she ended up shooting a video for “In Ha Mood.” Check out the watch above and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Ice Spice & Lil Tjay’s “Gangsta Boo” Marks Her Billboard Hot 100 Debut

On her viral “In Ha Mood” single, Ice Spice lyricized about being proud of her constant growth as an artist. Today (January 31), her rise to superstardom continues as the 23-year-old makes her debut on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart.

As the outlet notes, her collaboration with Lil Tjay on “Gangsta Boo” appears on the list dated February 4th in the 82nd position. It was officially released on January 20th as one of the six titles on her Like..? EP via Dolo/TenThosand Projects/Capitol Records.

The popular song has amassed upwards of five million U.S. streams and over 725K radio airplay audience impressions. Additionally, there were 3,000 downloads in the first week (ending January 26), Luminate states.

The Hot 100 debut is huge news for Spice, though that’s not the only chart where it’s doing numbers. Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs have “Gangsta Boo” sitting at No. 16 and 32, respectively.

The New Yorker’s Like..? project is doing well overall. Presently, it’s No. 13 on Top Rap Albums and No. 19 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. On the all-genre chart, the “Bikini Bottom” rhymer’s work landed at No. 37 after moving 15K equivalent album units.

Spice has had plenty to say while doing press for her recent arrival. While chatting with Ebro Darden, she revealed that her type is “good boys & girls,” not hoodrat types. She also dished about her backstage experience at Drake’s legendary Apollo Theatre shows earlier this month.

Besides celebrating this major career milestone, Spice recently found herself clearing up any drama with Chance The Rapper. Over the weekend, the 29-year-old asked the redhead if she was throwing shade on her new EP.

Ice Spice Has Landed Her First ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 Entry With ‘Gangsta Boo’ Featuring Lil Tjay

It’s astonishing considering the song’s seeming ubiquity, but Ice Spice’s breakout song “Munch” was never actually on the Hot 100 chart, instead peaking at No. 5 on Billboard‘s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart in September. It didn’t take her too long to top that accomplishment, though; her latest single, “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay, has garnered the Bronx rapper her first-ever Hot 100 appearance on this week’s chart.

“Gangsta Boo,” which appears on Ice’s debut EP Like..? alongside her previously released singles “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood,” enters the Hot 100 this week at No. 82. Considering the omnipresence of Ice Spice catchphrases like, “you thought I was feeling you?” and “how can I lose when I’m already chose?”, it’s likely only a matter of time until we see her making regular appearances at the opposite end of the chart.

The signature redhead probably won’t stop at the charts, though; earlier this month, she hinted that a screen career might soon be on the way. “I didn’t ever really like see myself being a rapper,” she told Hot97’s Ebro Darden. “I always wanted to be an actress. That was my first passion.” With her witty personality and a gift for self-promotion, don’t be surprised if she takes over movies and TV, too.

Lil Tjay Arrested For The Second Time This Month

It seems like Lil Tjay can’t catch a break: The New York City rapper has been arrested for the second time this month. Just two weeks ago, the “Resume” rapper was detained for gun possession while on his way to film a music video with Ice Spice. The video was presumably for their recent collaboration on the “Munch” rapper’s EP Like..?, on a track titled “Gangsta Boo,” which dropped on January 6.

Reports show that Tjay was with several other people inside a vehicle in a “no-idling zone” before the police searched the car. It’s alleged that the authorities then located a firearm, and despite the rapper not being the driver, he was still arrested.

Tjay’s attorney, Dawn Florio, gave a statement in a recent interview with XXL regarding the rapper’s current situation. According to his attorney, the rapper was not arrested on another gun charge but for missing court.

“Lil Tjay was not rearrested for another gun charge,” she told XXL. “He was excused from appearing in court last Friday by the arraignment Judge. Another Judge revoked his bond and put him back in jail for missing court on Friday even though he was told by the first Judge that he did not have [to] appear.”

Florio also revealed that Tjay’s family has posted bail for the rapper and that he is free.

“It is so unfortunate that he had to be jailed for something that was not his fault,” she said.

Lil Tjay Arrested For The Second Time In 2023 In Connection To Gun Charge

According to several confirmed reports, Bronx drill rapper Lil Tjay has been arrested for the second time in two weeks for failure to appear in court in relation to his felony gun possession charge that he caught at the Ice Spice video shoot earlier this month.

Dawn Florio, attorney for Lil Tjay aka Tione Merrit, says about Tjay’s most recent arrest, “Lil Tjay was not rearrested for another gun charge. He was excused from appearing in court last Friday by the arraignment Judge. Another Judge revoked his bond and put him back in jail for missing court on Friday even though he was told by the first Judge that he did not have appear. Lil Tjay’s family posted the bail yesterday and he is free. It is so unfortunate that he had to be jailed for something that was not his fault.”

Tjay was originally arrested for felony gun possession on January 16 at an Ice Spice video shoot in the Bronx. The NYPD conducted a search on a vehicle that was illegally parked containing Lil Tjay and four other individuals and uncovered four firearms. Tjay was arrested, but bonded out the next day.

Florio claims that Tjay’s arrest was a result of an illegal search and says that she can prove that the illegal weapons did not belong to her client.

Tjay’s next court appearance is scheduled for February 14.
