Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyer Calls Harassment Case A “Salacious” Money Grab

Megan Thee Stallion’s legal troubles persist. The rapper endured a multi-year case in which Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting her, and now she finds herself the accused. Emilio Garcia, a photographer who worked for Megan between 2019 and 2023, claimed he witnessed the rapper having sex while in a moving car. Garcia was reportedly told not to “discuss” what he saw, which led to what he described as a “hostile work environment.” The photographer is seeking financial compensation for his experiences, but Megan’s lawyer is not concerned.

Alex Spiro issued a statement to Page Six shortly after Garcia’s case were announced. The lawyer, who represented Megan Thee Stallion during the Lanez case, claimed that the photographer’s claims had no weight to them. Furthermore, he criticized Garcia’s comments for being “salacious” attempts to slander the name of his client. “This is an employment claim for money,” Spiro publicly stated. “With no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her.” The lawyer then stated that Megan Thee Stallion plans to disprove these accusations “in court.”

Garcia is seeking several different forms of compensation. He’s seeking unpaid overtime, unpaid wages plus interest, and employee benefits on top of punitive damages. The photographer cited the incident in the car as one of many in which he was made to feel “uncomfortable.” He also claimed Megan and her camp would repeatedly make jokes about his weight and appearance. “I felt uncomfortable,” he recalled. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked.” Garcia was fired shortly after the car incident, which prompted him to seek legal representation. He has not, however, filed an official sexual harassment claim.

Megan Thee Stallion has never been more popular. The rapper bounced back from the Tory Lanez drama to drop the number one single “Hiss” in January. The single was Megan’s third to go number one, making her the first lead female rapper to debut atop the chart. A month later, Megan signed a deal with Warner Music Group that allowed her to maintain her status as an independent artist. Her net worth currently sits at $12 million. The rapper has not directly responded to Garcia’s accusations.

Justin Combs Hires El Chapo’s Lawyer Following House Raids, Misa Hylton Confirms

Misa Hylton, the mother of Justin Combs, says that her son has hired Jeffrey Lichtman to represent him after Homeland Security agents raided the family’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami, last week. Lichtman is note-worthy for having previously represented the infamous drug trafficker, El Chapo. Hylton confirmed the decision in a rant on Instagram, labeling the police raids “deplorable.”

“The over zealous and overtly militarized force used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable,” she wrote in the post. “If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression. The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable! Enough is Enough! Did Justin need several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest?? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed?? How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??”

Cassie’s Lawyer Labels Diddy “Depraved” After House Raid

Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, who represented the singer in her case against Diddy has spoken out on the police raiding the Bad Boy mogul’s homes on Monday. In a statement provided to The Daily Mail, he applauded law enforcement for holding Diddy accountable for his “depraved” actions.

“We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct,” Wigdor declared to The Daily Mail. The raids were carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement. They are related to an investigation into sex trafficking in the Southern District of New York.

Kodak Black Shows His Lawyer Love After Securing His Release From Prison

Kodak Black spent the first few weeks of 2024 in prison. That came after he was hit with some possession charges when police found him passed out in his car. Though the charges were eventually dropped by the judge, Kodak remained in police custody. But after a few weeks behind bars, he navigated through the legal system enough to secure his release. That wasn’t without the help of his lawyer though and the impact he had isn’t lost on Kodak. That’s why it’s no surprise that the rapper took to Instagram to shout out his legal advisor.

In a recent post to his story, Kodak shared a picture of the pair together. While it’s an older pic from May of last year, the timing of the post makes its intention clear. Underneath a repost of the picture fans react to Kodak’s lawyer once again coming in clutch for him. “His lawyer might be the goat no lie” one of the top comments on the post reads. “He got a gta lawyer fasho” another top comment reads. Check out the picture that Kodak shared of his lawyer below.

Kodak Black Hypes Up His Lawyer

At one point it looked like Kodak’s new legal battles could bring back some old struggles the rapper dealt with. He was famously pardoned by Donald Trump during the former president’s time in office. But in the days following his most recent arrest the sentence that was pardoned was brought back up. It was suspected that if Kodak pleaded guilty to another charge he might have to also serve the original sentence that was pardoned.

Last year, Kodak dropped his new album When I Was Dead. Numerous songs on the project like “Lemme See” and “Hope You Know” have racked up millions of streams in the months since it came out. What do you think of Kodak Black showing his lawyer some love after securing his release from prison? Do you think Kodak will be able to stay out of legal trouble going forward? Diddy’s Attorney Claims Women Were Falsely Identified As Minors In New Lawsuit

Earlier this week, Diddy was hit with yet another lawsuit complete with several damning allegations. The male producer suing Diddy, Rodney Jones AKA Lil Rod, accuses the Bad Boy Records founder of groping his genitals, making him watch explicit videos and more. Various photos, reportedly taken at an LA party thrown by Diddy last summer, are included in the suit. The photos include captions that label some of the individuals, whose faces are censored, as minors.

According to Diddy’s lawyer Shawn Holley, however, the individuals in the photos are of age. During a recent conversation with TMZ, the LA-based attorney claimed that one of the women listed as a minor came forward to inform her that she was actually an adult. The woman, Chelsea, has chosen to keep her full identity private. She did, however, provide the outlet with a photo of herself wearing the same bodysuit she claims she was wearing in the photo. Chelsea says she’s 33 years old.

Holley claims that another one of the women listed as a minor is actually Justin Combs’ girlfriend, Stephanie Rao, who is 32. She shared an allegedly unredacted version of the photo which includes Rao. Another photo from the same evening seemingly supports this statement. Law enforcement sources also tell TMZ that the shooting Lil Rod accuses Diddy and Justin of being involved in was the result of a robbery.

Allegedly, the victim was robbed at gunpoint outside of a recording studio, and arrests have since been made. Officials reportedly claim there were no signs of Diddy when they arrived. What do you think of Diddy’s lawyer claiming that women named in the lawsuit are denying being underage? What about his latest lawsuit? Kodak Black To Be Released From Prison

Kodak Black is expecting to be released from prison as early as Wednesday night, his attorney, Bradford Cohen, announced on Instagram. While Kodak pleaded guilty to one count of failure to report police contact, Judge Jose Martinez dismissed all other counts. With time served, he’s already ready for release.

“Federal Probation terminated with time served,” Cohen wrote. “In the Southern District of Florida Judge Martinez dismissed all substantive counts and Kodak plead to sole violation of failure to report police contact. Time served and he should be released by tonight. With my co counsel @skywriter.esq @kodakblack.”

Police originally planned to charge Kodak with cocaine possession after an arrest in December 2023, wherein they found a “white chunky substance” in his vehicle. However, they ended up going with oxycodone possession, thus violating his probation. Cohen quickly came forward to argue Kodak had a prescription for the painkillers. “It’s oxycodone that Kodak had a prescription for and not an illegal substance,” Cohen wrote on social media at the time. “Knowing that the officer substantially misrepresented his observations, the Broward State Atty Office still filed the charge. Unbelievable and it will not be tolerated. This level of abuse of power by the arresting officer is disgusting.” Check out Cohen’s latest update on Kodak below.

Keefe D Hires New Lawyer Ahead Of 2Pac Murder Trial

Late last year it was reported that the man accused of being responsible for 2Pac’s murder, Keefe D, didn’t have the finances to hire a lawyer. He would instead be using public defenders Charles Cano and Robert Arroyo, who were appointed to represent him in November. They dealt with his request for bail, which was later set at $750K. While it was more than his lawyers were hoping for, prosecutors fought hard to keep him behind bars ahead of his trial. They argued that he was simply too dangerous to let out. He’s currently in custody at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.

Keefe D’s trial is scheduled for June of this year, and to prepare, he recently hired a new private attorney. Carl Arnold, a Nevada lawyer, will replace his public defenders. It’s unclear whether or not Keefe D and his family will be able to gather the funds necessary to post his bail before the trial. If he is released, however, he’ll be placed on house arrest.

Previously, Keefe D has spoken openly about his alleged involvement in 2Pac’s murder. According to him, however, this was all simply for “entertainment.” In a court filing from December, his lawyers argued that their client believed he had immunity, and discussed the case solely for financial gain. “The book and video interviews were produced for a financial benefit under the belief that Duane had immunity,” they wrote. “The truthfulness of the content of the interviews was never verified. The book and interviews were done for entertainment purposes and to make money from a situation that Kading and others had already profited.”

Keefe D pleaded not guilty to 2Pac’s murder in November, and if convicted could face life in prison. What do you think of Keefe D reportedly dropping his public defenders before trial? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Jeannie Mai Responds to Jeezy’s “Gatekeeper” Accusations, Says Prioritizing Safety For Their Daughter

In a recent legal development, Jeannie Mai has reportedly fired back. This time, she’s denying at Jeezy’s claims of her playing the role of a “gatekeeper” in relation to their 1-year-old daughter. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Mai contends that her primary concern revolves around ensuring their child’s safety rather than restricting Jeezy’s access. The documents detail Mai’s assertion that she has consistently permitted Jeezy to spend quality time with their daughter. Even extending his access during the holiday season. Contrary to the portrayal of her actions as gatekeeping, Mai’s legal team presented a statement emphasizing her genuine worry for their child’s well-being.

Mai’s lawyer clarified the situation, stating, “It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place. Such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecured in the past. As well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping. But rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being.” The legal documents further elaborate on the nature of Mai’s requests. Emphasizing that they stem from a sincere desire to ensure the safety and security of their daughter. Particularly when she is under the care of others or traveling across the country, Mai seeks what her legal team deems as reasonable protective measures.

In defense of their client, Mai’s legal team concluded, “These requests are grounded in Ms. Jenkins’ genuine concern for the parties’ daughter’s safety and security. Especially when under the care of others and traveling across the country. And are reasonable protective measures, not an attempt to restrict Mr. Jenkins’ access to their daughter.” Meanwhile, Jeezy has continued to deny Mai’s infidelity claims. Moreover, there was an fidelity clause in their pre-nuptial agreement that would be triggered if Jeezy was proven otherwsie. “Any claims of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false and we have no further statements at this time,” a rep on behalf of Jeezy said to US Weekly.

Kanye West Accused By Another Lawyer Of Ghosting Him

Kanye West is unsurprisingly dealing with a million different things at once by only focusing on one at a time. Moreover, he’s probably thinking a lot about his Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures, which is supposed to drop tonight at press time… but you never know with Ye, do you? Regardless, the Chicago rapper stands accused of ignoring plenty of other action items, including responding to lawsuits on behalf of companies and entities that want to hold him accountable. The latest of these is from Scott Spivey, an attorney for Trax Records that asked a Louisiana judge to approve of other means of serving him with a lawsuit on Monday (December 11), according to court documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop.

“The necessity for this motion arises from the fact that counsel for Ye has been notified. But [he] refuses to provide an address for his client,” the lawyer expressed in the legal filing. “Additionally, Defendant Ye is constantly traveling around the world, making conventional service of process impossible. This motion is crucial to uphold due process and ensure Defendant Ye is duly notified of the ongoing legal proceedings.” This lawsuit from Trax is over a Marshall Jefferson sample– the track “Move Your Body”– in Kanye West’s 2022 Donda 2 cut “Flowers” that was allegedly used without permission.

Furthermore, Kanye West’s lawyer Greg Nelson claimed via email in June of this year that the California home that Spivey tried to serve him papers at in December of 2022 is no longer where he stays. When asked a month later in July whether he would accept the attorney’s service or indicate how to present the papers to the 46-year-old, Nelson allegedly said that his client is in Japan. He didn’t have an address for him and claimed to have no authorization to waive service. Therefore, Trax Records requested alternative service for “essentially… an international defendant” and await the judge’s decision.

“Considering the unique challenges presented by Defendant Ye’s circumstances, the following alternative service methods are proposed,” the motion read. “Service by Publication. Publish notice of the legal proceedings in reputable international newspapers. [Also,] online platforms that are likely to be accessed by Defendant Ye. Service by Mail. Send copies of the summons and complaint via international certified mail to any known addresses associated with Defendant Ye. Service through a Designated Agent. Utilize a legal representative as a designated agent to deliver the necessary documents to Defendant Ye. Each method has its advantages and potential drawbacks. But all are aimed at ensuring that Defendant Ye receives proper notice.” For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, log back into HNHH.

Iman Shumpert Releases Statement On Teyana Taylor Divorce

News of Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor’s divorce already shocked the world a couple of months ago, but the new court filing added even more fuel to that fire. Moreover, according to secret documents that leaked online, she labeled him as a “narcissist,” and it turns out that infidelity might have played a role in their split. In fact, there are even rumors that the former basketball star leaked Taylor’s secret filing himself and then acted surprise at the news. Regardless of the truth or lies behind all that, we now have an official statement from him regarding this legal process. The 33-year-old’s attorney Stephen C. Steele gave TMZ some remarks on his next moves and priorities.

“Mr. Shumpert hopes parties and counsel can work toward a fair resolution, keeping the best interests of the children of paramount concern,” Iman Shumpert stated via his lawyer. This is a far cry from his initial reaction on social media, which suggested that he felt blindsided by this revelation and was not expecting it. Overall, in these early stages of the divorce process, it’s going to be hard to tell what is true and what is just gossip. With that in mind, the musician’s initial acknowledgement of their breakup points toward this being a relatively amicable process.

Iman Shumpert’s Brief Statement From Lawyer: Read

“AHT AHT! Not too much on my bestie!” Teyana Taylor wrote on social media back in September. “In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.

“We just keep y’all a**es out the group chat lol,” she continued. “Which is the reason we’ve been able to successfully & peacefully separate without all of the outside noise. The only reason I’m even sharing THIS part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand & it’s unfair to all parties involved. I hope this provided some clarity for y’all.
