JT is having her moment in 2024. Actually, let’s correct that. She is having multiple moments this year. The City Girls MC took the criticism on the chin after her and Yung Miami dropped their album RAW. Sales were extremely low (just 10,000 first week), and it seemed apparent that what made the duo popular was running its course. However, JT has totally flipped that script and is coming through with arguably her best material to date. Sure, the familiar vibes are there, but mic presence and production are up across the board. Her feature game has also been on point, landing on Doechii’s house-inspired banger “Alter Ego.”
It is safe to say that she has given herself a lot of confidence. Her most single “OKAY” and its extended version saw her send a plentiful quantity of subliminal shots at her contemporaries such as Sukihana. With this blazing start, she is now poised to drop her debut project quite soon. JT announced that City Cinderellais on the way, all while flaunting her bodacious curves in some sultry neon bikini pics.
Speaking of the latter, JT felt that one swimsuit photoshoot was not enough. So, with her enjoying her time in Nassau, Bahamas, why not treat her fans to more stunning shots? Well, she did just that, rocking a skimpy, bright blue bikini while posing with no makeup at the gorgeous beaches. “Pretty privilege ! <3 ;)” she captioned the post. Fans and fellow artists were drooling in the comments section, as to be expected. Kali Uchis took notice of the all-natural look, “no makeup suits u sooo well !!!” Stunna Girl also commented twice, “Poster Girl I love you sisss ” Kehlani also hyped up JT, “giiiRLLLLUHHHH JESUS CHRIST.”
What are your thoughts on JT going for the natural look in her mini bikini photoshoot in the Bahamas? Is she breaking out in 2024? Or is she still not there just yet and if so, why? What has been your favorite release and feature from her so far this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. It’s been nothing but turbulence dating back to last year for the City Girls. They dropped their new album RAW back in October. The album sports an impressive feature list with Lil Durk, Muni Long, Juicy J, Usher, and Kim Petras all made contributions. Despite that, the album underperformed commercially and today only “No Bars” and “Good Love” sit with more than 10 million streams on Spotify. The albums like of commercial success led to questions about the future of the City Girls as a duo and turbulence between JT and Yung Miami since hasn’t helped.
The alleged rumors of hard feelings between the two came to a head earlier this year when they had a brief spat online. Though they made up with each other pretty quickly fans still can’t help but suspect things might not be perfect. The newest example of why is a comment Yung Miami left on a Sukihana song that contained disses aimed at her City Girls contemporary. Fans of the duo and of JT herself didn’t take that too kindly. That led to a series of interactions on Twitter between Miami and fans commenting on her seemingly endorsing a JT diss track. Check out what she had to say to some people online below.
After asking an upset fan on Twitter if they “had a problem” another fan explained the issue. She called out Miami for the “character” that she puts on while getting in social media drama. She accuses Miami of knowing exactly why people get mad at her and plays into it. With the rapper’s response all she could say was that she talked to JT and things were fine.
What do you think of Yung Miami’s interactions with fans online after commenting on a Sukihana song that takes shots at JT? Do you believe her when she says she’s talked to her fellow City Girl and cleared things up? Let us know in the comment section below.
This year isn’t halfway through, but it’s already been cemented as the “year of the diss track.” Whether there’s something in the water or the stars are misaligned, there’s been a ton of beef this year, and now Sukihana and JT want in. While the City Girl has had her fair share of feuds, Suki’s the latest opp on her roster. Not one to shy away from the spotlight, the “Casamigos” singer has set the ball rolling. Sukihana recently released the devastatingly scathing “Cocaine,” an official diss against JT, kicking down the door for a newfound feud.
Things Aren’t “Okay”
The beef between Sukihana and JT unofficially began after JT released her solo single “Okay.” A specific line in the song seemed to target Sukihana.“She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missin’ / Cheap ass veneers, you stay talkin’ sh*t / Put a marker to this b*tch, she’s so counterfeit,” JT rapped. The track was released while Sukihana was in jail for possession of codeine and ecstasy with intent to distribute. That’s most likely why it did not immediately spiral into a full-blown feud at the time. In fact, some listeners believed it was a reference to Cardi B, who had a similar experience with her veneers and was also recently at loggerheads with JT.
Suki’s Response
After her release on bond on April 25, Sukihana addressed the “crab legs” line during an Instagram Live session. She acknowledged her past incident with crab legs, which led to her losing a veneer. “We all know I did break my teeth on some crab legs… But I don’t talk sh*t about b*tches,” she said. “I always show b*tches love. Never hate on a b*tch. Never call a b*tch names.”
Sukihana then asked JT to clarify if the lyrics were about her but did not get a reply from JT. This led to her dissing the “No Bars” rapper on X (formerly Twitter). “She pretty then a muf**a but she be doing cocainnnn,” Suki wrote. She followed it up with, “Y’all pray for me nothing wrong it’s just Jt lips use to be so white.”
JT & Sukihana’s Beef Blows Up
JT took to her account on the same platform with a series of posts alleging that Sukihana was very much aware that the lyrics were not about her. She also claimed that Suki wanted to use the beef to chase clout. JT quickly took things up a notch, referring to the Baddies star as “Sardine Suki.” Furthermore, she wrote that Sukihana goes “viral for stupid sh*t daily.”
In reference to Suki joking that her lips used to be white, JT fired shots in return. “Talking about my lips use to be white, h*e yours use to be flat! Don’t let that synthetic hyaluronic acid get to your brain sardine suki.” She also accused Suki of attending her birthday party uninvited and posted pictures of Suki (an outspokenly sexual woman). One photo featured her sucking on someone’s toes, and in another, an unknown pill was placed on her tongue. The pictures were captioned: “I don’t think I’m better than Suki baby, I AM BETTER THAN SUKI this is not a woman.”
Suki Drops “Cocaine”
Sukihana escalated the beef even further when she released a JT diss track titled “Cocaine” on May 8th. The track was promised in one of the many posts from her exchange with JT: “I was finna roast tf out of floptavia aka Ms Shi*ty girl during her coke rant but I’m gone take it to the booth and show you I can really rap bum a** long tittie bed bug looking winch.” In the song, she accused JT of using cocaine. Suki also attacked JT’s appearance for most of the 3-minute track.
“Ol’ botched body bald eagle lookin’ ass b*tch / With that 5 o’clock shadow, girl, shave that chin,” she rapped. Sukihana also asserted that JT looked “like a trans,” with the lyrics: “You ain’t lyin’ when you say you look like a trans / ‘Cause your n***a only f*ck wit’ you because you look like a man.” She took things further when she made a reference to JT’s past beefs with other female rappers. Specifically, she referenced her past feuds with Ice Spice and her City Girls co-act Yung Miami.
“You was mad at Ice Spice cause your n*gga wanna f*ck her.” This line points to the infamous MTV VMA’s incident, when JT hurled her phone at Lil Uzi, allegedly because he flirted with Ice Spice. Regarding JT’s fight with Yung Miami Sukihana said, “You been hatin’ on Caresha since a baby.” She also dropped the line, “You the type of b*tch that’ll backdoor your friend.” The relationship between the two City Girls seems to have hit a number of rocks lately. Moreover, although the duo is not officially disbanded, JT is currently midway to launching a full-blown solo career.
Conclusion
JT has been preparing to drop her solo debut project City Cinderella amid the ongoing feud. Some onlookers still believe the rappers are setting the scene for their respective releases, and this is all a stunt. Nonetheless, it’s important to note that the beef between Sukihana and JT does not seem to have peaked just yet. Should JT decide to respond in kind with her own track, then things could really take off. Maybe then, the pair could finally earn a spot among 2024’s most interesting rap beefs.
JT had more to say. The City Girls rapper caused quite a stir when she dropped her single “Okay.” The lyrics saw her take aim at a very specific peer, but she didn’t name names, so fans were unsure of who she meant. The target was whittled down to either Cardi B or Sukihana. The former didn’t bother saying anything, and the latter addressed the situation over social media. JT didn’t like that. She took Sukihana to task for not asking her in private, and proceeded to insult her several times via X (formerly Twitter).
Now, JT has an extended version of “Okay.” The rapper felt like she didn’t quite nail the aggressiveness of the original, so she added additional bars. To nobody’s surprise, they are mean-spirited. The City Girls rapper doesn’t include names again, but they once again register as pointed. “Ain’t no way I’m ever layin’ down for you stank h*es,” she raps on the new version. “Tell these b*tches why you really mad. Cuse you said I couldn’t do it, look at my black a*s.” It’s obvious that all the speculation and fan attention only gave JT more incentive to up the ante, and that’s exactly what she does here.
“Y’all h*es know you can’t f*ck with me,” JT adds. “That’s why y’all in a huddle trying to see how y’all can f*ck with me.” The rapper then clarifies that she has lots of time to go to war with whoever wants to heed the call. She went as far as to describe herself as bored, and ready for the smoke. “I clapped back in the air cuse a b*tch bored,” she asserted. The hardest-hitting line, though, is towards the end of the verse, when JT decides to be specific and vague at the same time.
She calls out three specific targets without mentioning names, but it seems like these targets know who they are. And they don’t intimidate JT for a second. “To be clear h*e, this for you, you and you (p**sy),” she tauntingly raps. “You ain’t a threat or a f*cking goon. City Cinderella coming soon.” City Cinderella is the name of JT’s upcoming solo album, and frankly, she’s doing a great job of drumming up attention. It is the year of the rap beef, so what better way to get eyes on your project?
Kendrick and Drake might have the timeline in the frenzy but Sukihana is throwing some blows of her own against JT. It’s a surprising turn of events, considering the two were copacetic just a week ago. Amid the supposed downfall of the City Girls, JT unveiled her latest song, “Okay,” which contained a handful of subliminal shots toward an unnamed group of peers in hip-hop. Some speculated that bars relating to broken veneers and crab legs related to Cardi B but it seems it may have been a shot at Sukihana.
In the following days, Sukihana attempted to clear the air and explain that she’s never beefed with women in the rap game. She even went as far as to say that she attended JT’s birthday party in December. However, things changed since then. On Wednesday, she went diabolical on the City Girls rapper with the release of “Cocaine.” The 3-minute cut sees Sukihana delivering some scathing shots at JT and Lil Uzi Vert, some of which have been deemed transphobic. Sukihana might not be regarded as a lyricist by any means but she showed out on her latest track. Below, we’ve broken down the lyrics and references from Sukihana’s “Cocaine.”
It seems like JT and Sukihana once had a pretty tight-knit relationship. At least, it would appear to be the case if Suki had some sort of insight into JT’s medical history. On “Cocaine,” Suki goes for the neck as she accuses JT of having scabies and rabies, along with having eczema. Toward the end of the verse, she raps, “I got a beam for every bump on your lip.” There’s no confirmation whether these claims are true. Along with allegations of drug use, which is the focal point of the song, we’ll have to take it with a grain of salt.
“You was mad at Ice Spice ’cause your n***a wanna f**k her,” Sukihana raps on the song. Unlike the allegations regarding health issues and addiction, Sukihana’s mention of Ice Spice might have some sort of truth to it. If you recall, JT and Lil Uzi Vert were at the center of a public blowout at the VMAs last year. While some attributed it to Uzi’s alleged flirtatious interaction with Ice Spice, JT later denied this. She claimed that she threw her phone at Uzi only because they gave away her seat to A$AP Bari, the owner of Vlone. However, the A$AP member later denied that was the case and suggested that the whole debacle was, in fact, about Ice Spice.
JT’s partner, Lil Uzi Vert, continued to be at the center of their feud, catching strays on Sukihana’s “Cocaine.” Unfortunately, it came at the cost of anti-LGBTQ+ lyrics. While she does state, “[Lil Uzi Vert] wanted to eat this sewer p**sy right through my pants, h*e,” she also flips JT’s bar on “No Bars” where the City Girls member raps that she’s “pretty like a transgender.” In response, Suki said, “You ain’t lyin’ when you say you look like a trans/ Your n***a only fuck wit’ you because you look like a man.” Needless to say, this didn’t go over for her well online. Elsewhere, she addresses Uzi’s gender-fluid fashion choices, rapping, “B**ch, you just mad ‘cause your n***a wear your thong.” In all fairness, she might be confusing Lil Uzi Vert with Playboi Carti.
Disloyalty & The Downfall Of The City Girls
The downfall of the City Girls might be imminent. We’ve heard about some of the alleged inner turmoil between JT and Yung Miami, which has spilled onto the timeline on various occasions. So, it seemed inevitable that Sukihana would’ve brought it up amid a barrage of insults towards JT. In the first verse, she raps, “You been hatin’ on Caresha since a baby.” However, she then fired off several more accusations toward JT that painted her as a disloyal friend. “You the type of bitch that’ll backdoor your friend,” she raps in the second verse.
Authenticity is key in hip-hop and it seems that Sukihana’s questioning JT’s. We all know the story of the City Girls; how Yung Miami had to hold it down – pregnant, no less – while JT served a bid for fraud. Across “Cocaine,” Sukihana makes several references to JT’s prison bid, claiming that she was stealing out of Macy’s and later, raps, “Bitch, you ain’t no scammer, you was boostin’ outta TJ Maxx.”
Devil Worship
What appears to be another shot at Lil Uzi Vert, Sukihana accuses JT of worshipping the devil. Uzi previously included Satanic imagery as part of his brand, which has caused a rift among many and eventually led him to explain that he doesn’t actually believe in the devil. Nonetheless, Sukihana called out JT, rapping, “Demonic ass ho, tell ’em how you worship Satan/ Prayed to God through your bid, now you come home and you hate him?”
Seems like it’s beefing season in the rap world. While Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been at each other’s throats for the past few weeks, other rappers aren’t mincing words with each other. Today (May 8) rapper Sukihana released “Cocaine,” on which, Suki accuses JT of City Girls of using the titular drug. She also has some other scathing bars for JT and her boyfriend, Lil Uzi Vert.
While the beef has fans divided, many are confused as to when and how the beef began.
Why are Sukihana and JT beefing?
Neither Suki nor JT have explained why they’re at odds with each other. But shortly after the release of JT’s solo single “Okay,” a line seemed to strike a cord with Suki.
On “Okay,” JT raps “She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missin’/ Cheap ass veneers, you stay talkin’ sh*t/ Put a marker to this b*tch, she’s so counterfeit.”
At the time of the song’s release, Suki was in jail for possession of codeine and ecstasy, with intent to distribute. After her release, she took to Instagram live, and shared that people had been tagging her in posts featuring the song. After the fact, she immediately caught onto the “crab legs” line.
“We all know I did break my teeth on some crab legs,” said Suki. “I love crab legs, that’s normal sh*t. I posted it, it’s real sh*t and I’m living my truth. But I don’t talk sh*t about b*tches. I always show b*tches love. Never hate on a b*tch. Never call a b*tch names.”
JT is currently gearing up to drop her solo debut project City Cinderella.
“She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missing / Cheap a** veneers, you stay talking s*** / Put a marker to this b****, she’s so counterfeit.” Those were the bars up for debate on “Okay,” which is the latest single from Florida femcee, JT. There was belief that it was either a shot at Cardi B, or Delaware’s Sukihana. It turns it was not a diss at either artist, as JT recently cleared up the speculation. However, it was not handled in the way that you might think. “Sukihana You KNEW I wasn’t talking about YOU I would’ve answered quicker if you didn’t try to do a 2 for 1 special,” JT wrote on X on May 3. “I never knew your tooth fell out from eating crab legs you go viral for stupid s*** Daily.”
The posts got more severe, as JT was really upset at Sukihana for not reaching out to her directly to clear the air. The City Girls running mate also was of the belief that Suki was handling it in this way so she could get some attention. In her final message, JT laid down the hammer. “Search my page I been supporting you never had an issue with you so why would I enter a booth & think of YOU? sewer p**sy???!” That last blow might have set Sukihana over the edge, as now she is taking direct shots at her new foe on “COCAINE.”
On the incredibly nasty track, she reveals to the listener that JT allegedly is bad at pleasing her man (Lil Uzi Vert). So much so that Suki feels that is why Uzi wants to get with Ice Spice or herself. “Cockeyed nipple deformed armadillo looking mothaf***a / Thinking i dont know your n****, b****, your n**** wanna eat this sewer pussy right through my pants h*e.” Oh yeah, there are also tons of bars about JT’s looks as well, those are just a sample. Also, if you are wondering why it is called “COCAINE,” it is because of these X posts. “Y’all pray for me nothing wrong it’s just Jt lips use to be so white. She pretty then a mufuka but she be doing cocainnnn.” This beef has certainly reached new heights.
What are your thoughts on this brand-new single and diss track, “COCAINE,” by Sukihana? Do you think we have another back-and-forth beef brewing, why or why not? How should JT go about this? Is this one of the wildest diss tracks of the year so far? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Quotable Lyrics:
Girl you foaming out your mouth is it rabies? I can tell by that white tongue you eat booty crazy Everybody in Miami say you suck d*** lazy Demonic a** h*e tell em’ how you worship satan Pray to God through your bid now you come home and you hate him? Ol theifing a** angry beaver looking mothaf***a
Rappers really hate other rappers in 2024. JT already had beef with her City Girls partner Yung Miami this year, which spurred her to drop more solo material. She dropped the single “Okay,” but the lyrics sparked even more controversy because fans thought she was talking about someone in particular. Sukihana and Cardi B were the rumored targets, and the former hopped on Instagram to clear a few things up. Sukihana claimed that she and JT were on good terms. She did, however, ask JT to clarify who’s really in her crosshairs.
The rapper got what she asked for. JT took to X (formerly Twitter) on May 3 to clear the air between her and Sukihana. She stated that the “Okay” lyrics were not aimed at Sukihana, but then proceeded to bash her mercilessly throughout the explanation. It’s fascinating to read. “Sukihana You KNEW I wasn’t talking about YOU I would’ve answered quicker if you didn’t try to do a 2 for 1 special,” JT wrote. “I never knew your tooth fell out from eating crab legs you go viral for stupid sh*t Daily.”
JT took umbrage with the fact that Sukihana posted about the alleged diss on Instagram instead of asking her privately. “You kept writing me back to back you could’ve DM’d me but you was trying to distract me,” she tweeted. “AND use me to run your sh*t up so you can run a special for page promo sucka a*s h*e.” It seemed as though JT’s temper raised with each post. The third tweet aimed at the “Hood Rats” rapper was even uglier.
JT claimed that Sukihana attended her birthday party without permission, and tried to benefit from music that’s not connected to her. “You definitely was at my party UNINVITED always wanna be seen & heard ass bitch,” she wrote. “Search my page I been supporting you never had a issue with you so why would I enter a booth & think of YOU? sewer p**sy???!” The last insult is far and away the most devastating. It’s the last thing fans expected, especially given that the two rappers were seemingly on good terms.
The ironic part of the whole encounter is that Sukihana brought about her own feud. When she posted about “Okay” on Instagram, she ruled herself out from being a target because she had no reason to beef with JT. “I don’t take her as a girl that just start trouble with random people when she droppin’ a song,” she said. Evidently, speculating about JT on IG was enough to start trouble. There wasn’t beef before, but there certainly is now.
If you have not been paying attention JT of the rap duo City Girls lately, you may want to. The Miami, Florida rapper has taken it upon herself to forge a solo career and it has turned out to be a fantastic decision. Her last batch of singles, “Sideways,” “No Bars,” and “OKAY,” have been raking in some solid numbers. She even had a huge feature on Doechii’s recent single “Alter Ego” and she too is one TDE’s brightest stars. So, JT is certainly sitting pretty right now, but Asian Doll has come out of the woodwork to rain on her parade a bit.
The Neighborhood Talk posted a collage of tweets from the Dallas, Texas rapper who is seemingly always at the ready to take shots at someone. Over time, we have seen her go at Kash Doll, Scar Lip, DJ Akademiks, Jada Kingdom, just to name a few. JT is now in her crosshairs once again because Asian Doll is seemingly fed up with her being a copycat. She called her out for flaming her look back in the day but now rocking it after some time has passed.
“The industry is the only place where h*es will literally hate your style & a couple years later pop out with that same look ,” Doll said. She continued, “This b**** want my style so f***ing bad I might have to get back on my real DOLL S*** cause the same h*es talked about my boots is the same h*es falling on stage in big boots ” She even attached a video of JT falling on stage with massive boots on, to further drive her point home. Then, Asian Doll capped off her rant with one last message. “JT got my whole style idgaf what nobody say… That doll s*** been me h*es ain’t never been on that type of s***.”
What are your thoughts on Asian Doll saying JT stole her entire look and style as an artist? Do you think she has a point, or is she just looking to start something? Is JT becoming a star with her recent output? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Asian Doll and JT. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.
JT really stirred up more rap beef in 2024. The City Girls emcee dropped her solo single “Okay,” and fans have been trying to figure out who she’s targeting. “She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missing,” she rapped. “Cheap a*s veneers, you stay talkin’ sh*t.” These lines are so specific that fans have been able to boil it down to two artists: Cardi B or Sukihana. The former hasn’t commended on the JT song, but Sukihana got tired of people tagging her on Instagram. She hopped on social media to set the record straight between her and JT.
Sukihana started her post by acknowledging that she did, in fact, break her tooth eating crab legs. “We all know I done broke my teeth on some crab legs,” she noted. It was the second part of JT’s line that led to her dismissing the theory. “I don’t talk sh*t about b*tches. I always show love,” she explained. “Never hate on a b*tch, never called a b*tch name.” Sukihana also pointed to the fact that she was just at JT’s birthday party in December. “I was at JT birthday party, it was hugs and giggles, so I don’t feel like she talking about me.”
Sukihana did admit that was dealing with legal troubles with “Okay” dropped, so she may have missed some crucial details. The rapper was arrested for possession of ecstasy with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver and possession of codeine with intent to sell and manufacture on April 25. She was released a few days later on a $7,500 bond from Broward County. “I was locked up when the song came out, I come home, I look at my phone and everybody keep tagging me,” she told her fans. “They tagging Cardi too, they said JT was trying to diss me or Cardi B in a song.”
Sukihana maintains that everything is solid between her and JT. She went as far as to vouch for the character of the City Girls emcee. “”I don’t take her as a girl that just start trouble with random people when she droppin’ a song,” she reasoned. She did, however, leave some room open for clarification. She asked JT to speak out on the “Okay” lyrics and set the record straight on who she’s targeting. “They said it’s trouble in paradise for her and Cardi,” she added. “I just don’t feel like me and you got no tea, so just let me know.”
