50 Cent has never been that much of a fan of President Joe Biden, something that he makes very clear through his many social media posts on his proposals, actions, etc. Moreover, the most recent example of this phenomenon has to do with No. 46’s budget proposition for the 2025 fiscal year, pushing for an increase to 44.6% in capital gains taxes for individuals with over $1 million in taxable income and over $400,000 in investment earnings. It looks like this falls in Fif’s wildly successful tax bracket, as he took to Instagram on Thursday (April 25) to share a Wealth report on the matter. According to the publication, this would be the biggest capital gains tax rate in over 100 years in the U.S. with the goal of equalizing taxing for investment income and wage income.

“COME ON NOW JOE, THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE THIS IS NOT IT!” 50 Cent captioned his repost of this Wealth report. While hip-hop has never been the end-all, be-all for solid political opinions on either side of the aisle, there have been plenty of mixed rap reactions to many of Joe Biden’s actions and moves as the nation’s president. For one, GloRilla seemingly dodged endorsing him outright despite her White House visit. Donald Trump’s team reportedly intends to combat so-called “anti-white racism” as a keystone of a second administration according to a report from Axios. This would include nixing programs created to help minorities from before the killing of George Floyd and after. In doing so, he will also reinterpret Civil Rights-era laws and apply them to this new context.

“Trump’s Justice Department would push to eliminate or upend programs in government and corporate America that are designed to counter racism that has favored whites,” Axios reported. “Targets would range from decades-old policies aimed at giving minorities economic opportunities to more recent programs that began in response to the pandemic and the killing of George Floyd.”

Donald Trump Holds Campaign Rally In Michigan

GloRilla made sure to keep herself firmly apolitical when talking about her recent trip to the White House. Glo shut down CNN when the outlet asked her if she had been invited to the White House to endorse Joe Biden. “That ain’t got nothing to do with me. I’m just livin’ life like it’s golden,” Glo replied. Glo attended a White House function earlier this week as part of Women’s History Month. This included a semi-viral moment in which she got President Biden to say “Yeah Glo”.

Of course, Glo’s star continues to shine brighter and brighter. Last month, she linked up with LeBron James in LA. LeBron stopped to take pictures with the Memphis femcee as well as enjoying a brief conversation with her. After months of theories claiming that President Joe Biden had dementia, Republicans pivoted to a new attack after an energetic State of the Union address last night. Several Republican influencers, as highlighted by Media Matters For America‘s Matthew Gertz, began suggesting that Biden was hopped up on more than just patriotism. “I think I just got to the bottom of the untraceable little baggie found at the White House,” wrote Fox host Julie Banderas.

Biden, who finds himself between right-wing critics attacking him on border control and left-wing critics attacking him on Gaza, came out swinging in his annual address to Congress. Amongst the topics addressed were a warning to Vladimir Putin, a promise to restore Roe v. Wade, and the announcement of a temporary seaport to circumvent the Israeli blockade of Gaza. However, the official Republican response, delivered by Alabama Senator Katie Britt, took aim at Biden’s immigration record and tried to champion the GOP as the “defenders of women”.
