Westside Gunn Unveils Release Date For New Album “Still Praying”

Westside Gunn has been quiet, but he’s also been busy. The Griselda rapper has been popping up every few weeks on social media to give fans new pieces of information. He dropped the album cover and title for his upcoming project, Still Praying, in September. He also claimed to have recorded his next release in a single day. The information fans were really waiting on, though, finally came to light on October 2. Westside Gunn confirmed the release date for Still Praying, and it’s sooner than we anticipated.

The anticipated album will drop on November 1. Westside Gunn confirmed this date on Instagram, along with a lengthy message on what Still Praying means to his career. Evidently, the album is much more than another collection of hard beats and bars. “Still Praying is the beginning of a new era of Griselda Records I promise y’all,” he wrote. “I’m a make sure y’all never forget this sh*t, just support the art and watch how life change for the better.” Westside Gunn then compared the new album to Flygod Is An Awesome God, which remains one of his most beloved releases.

Westside Gunn Claims The New Album Is “Perfectly Curated”

Flygod Is an Awesome God, when everybody thought I was just chillin,” he added. “I was actually curating the illest art (wrestling/fashion/music) I ever made. But now it’s time to show y’all everything I been working on. I’m a show y’all why it’ll never be another Westside Gunn.” The rapper also gave shout outs to various people who helped with and inspired Still Praying. The “perfectly curated” album will also boast one of the coldest album covers in the entire Griselda catalog. Gunn chose a textless photo of the late wrestler Sid Vicious. The rapper is a longtime fan of the sport, and Vicious, a personal favorite of his, passed away in August.

Westside Gunn and the rest of the Griselda label are known for dropping multiple albums a year. Gunn, for example, put out eight projects between 2020 and 2022. It’s truly a mind-boggling state, one that makes Future looks like he needs to put more work in the studio. The rapper has taken his foot off the gas in recent years, however. His last album, And Then You Pray for Me, was released in 2023, and he’s been taking his time ever since. We can’t wait to hear what he’s been cooking up.

Drake Unfollows Diddy On Instagram Following Mogul’s Allegations

Drake continues to exercise his right to unfollow celebrities on Instagram. The rapper decided to cut several notable figures off on October 1. Some of them needed little in the way of an explanation, like Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar. Others, like LeBron James and Playboi Carti, were surprising given the seemingly good relationships Drake had with them in the past. The 6 God decided to unfollow one more celebrity on October 2, though, and this one made all the sense in the world. Drake is no longer following Diddy on Instagram.

The Diddy follow was actually a point of discussion the day before. Drake fans and haters, both of whom are a passionate late, debated the meaning of the rapper’s continued follow. Diddy has, after all, become a pariah in the music industry. The Bad Boy founder has been hit with several federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. More allegations against Diddy seemingly come out every couple days. Drake cutting ties is unsurprising. This is not, however, the first time the Toronto rapper has appeared to draw a line in the sand between him and Diddy.

Drake Has Had A Complicated History With Diddy

Following Diddy’s arrest in September, Drake posted a cryptic message on his burner account. It was a film clip from The Big Short (2015), in which Ryan Gosling’s character claims not to hang out with his co-workers. “I never hung out with these idiots after work, ever,” the character noted. “I had fashion friends.” Drake loves to use film clips to do his talking for him, as we all learned during the K. Dot battle. Drake and Diddy’s relationship has never been friendly, however, dating back to the early 2010s. Diddy accused the Toronto rapper of stealing the beat for the song “0 to 100 / The Catch Up” and the rumor goes that he slapped Drizzy outside of a club.

The Game alleged that Diddy tried to have a hit put out on the rapper in 2014. There’s nothing to validate this bold claim, however. The only time the Compton legend spoke on the matter was during a VladTV interview. What is verifiable, however, are the shots that Drizzy took at the Bad Boy founder on the 2016 song “4PM In Calabasas.” He not only borrowed Diddy’s flow and lines, but threw subliminal digs at him throughout his verses.

Yung Miami’s Alleged Texts To Saucy Santana Spark Rumors About Having A New Man

Yung Miami allegedly has a new man in her life, according to Saucy Santana, who shared a text exchange between himself and the City Girls rapper on Instagram, earlier this week. In the messages, Santana complains about not being able to reach Miami, who replies that she was on the phone with her man. Santana answers: “CARESHA PLZ! It’s always a man witchu!!! That’s AGGRAVATIN! This new n***a got yo head gone! Imma pray for u.”

When The Shade Room reposted the texts on Instagram, fans theorized that Santana leaked the move in an effort to help Miami distance herself from Diddy. “She wants us to know that she’s not with Diddy anymore [laughing emoji]. I would’ve paid paparazzi to catch me with a new man a couple times to make it look more believable,” one fan commented. Another wrote: “She ain’t slick. She just trynna distance herself from Diddy lol. Because what else was the purpose of leaking this?”

Miami previously opened up about her experiences dating Diddy during the premiere of the second season of her show, Caresha Please. Speaking with Santana for the episode, she broke into tears when the Bad Boy mogul was brought up. She had been in a relationship with Diddy prior to CNN publishing security camera footage from a hotel in 2016, showing him hitting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. In the time since, authorities have arrested him on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Miami has said she never witnessed any of the alleged behavior of which Diddy is accused. He’s also already pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Saucy Santana Questions Why DJ Akdemiks Was Checking His Posts While Drunk

Saucy Santana fired back at DJ Akademiks for trolling him as a “silverback” in a recent post on Instagram. He had been sharing something from Santana’s story before apologizing in the comments section and admitting he was drunk. Addressing the post in a video on social media, Santana questioned why he was checking his page if he was drunk in the first place.

Santana began by asking why Akademiks was even on his page. “Let me find out you’re on my page to get your morning wood off. Over here jacking off to Saucy Santana because how’d you find my page? How are you on my story? Let’s make it make sense,” he said. “… I don’t know what your obsession is with gays and b*tches, but you have a problem. I used to think maybe you wanted to f*ck Caresha, but now it’s just evident you wanna be Caresha. You want a p*ssy so bad and I keep telling you that. Your d*ck already little. All they gotta do is split it open and tuck it back.”

50 Cent Clowns Tony Yayo For Publicly Discussing Diddy Feud

It’s no secret that 50 Cent isn’t a fan of Diddy, but according to him, that doesn’t mean he wants other people publicly discussing their beef. Earlier this week, the G-Unit mogul took to Instagram to share a video montage of Tony Yayo talking about his longstanding feud with Diddy. In the clips, he makes it clear that Fif never got along with Diddy, meaning that he and his associates had “always been hated” in the industry.

“I never been to a P Diddy party or JAY-Z brunch,” he explained in one clip. “I know it’s cool to be down with Diddy and JAY-Z. We was down with 50, [he] had beef with everybody.” 50 Cent took the opportunity to jokingly remind himself not to share his business with Yayo if he didn’t want it shared with the world.

50 Cent Shares Montage Of Tony Yayo Discussing His Beef With Diddy

“Note to self don’t tell Yayo nothing you don’t want everybody to know,” he captioned his post. Luckily, it doesn’t look like he’s too upset about Yayo talking about him, though the same can’t be said for everyone. Last month, for example, Yayo sat down with VladTV for an interview and was asked about 50 Cent getting shot. Instead of answering the question, Yayo shut DJ Vlad down and urged him to stop asking questions about 50 Cent. At the time, he also told Vlad that his collaborator doesn’t like him simply because he talks about him far too much.

“This is why 50 hates your a**,” he said. “Yeah, you talk about him too much.” What do you think of 50 Cent jokingly calling out Tony Yayo for talking about his relationship with Diddy? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tory Lanez Shows Love To Trina For Launching His Career While Announcing Rerelease Of Old Mixtape

Making a massive impact in music is certainly a tall task. If the artist is driven enough, they are going to do everything they possibly can to make their dreams a reality. Sometimes, up and coming artists have to fend for themselves and go lone wolf. For Tory Lanez, it was certainly trending that way for some time. About a decade ago, the Canadian rapper was having to sleep in his old girlfriend’s car and his manager’s couch due to his financial struggles. Unfortunately, Tory’s girl broke things off with him, so he was having to find a new temporary place to stay.

That’s when Trina came through for then young and bubbling talent, according to a recent inspirational IG post (via AllHipHop). For Tory, the story goes, “I remember showing her the song for ‘Godfather’. She looked at me and said, ‘That’s the song that’s going to get you a deal’. She put five bands up and helped me get the video shot. Coincidentally, the same director from that video, shot another video from the project for free. That video ended up being ‘Henny in Hand’. Two months later, Interscope watched both videos and couldn’t believe it was the same person on both songs. That led to me getting signed and the rest was history”.

Because of Trina’s unwavering support and generosity, Tory was able to build out his sound and brand. It’s part of the reason why the now star multi-talent is also revealing the rerelease of the mixtape in which those two songs land on. That project is Lost Cause and it’s coming on October 1, which is the day it turns 10. On top of that incredible news, Tory will also be continuing this reissuing run moving forward. “This will be the first of many classic mixtapes of mine that I will officially release on DSPs now that I am INDEPENDENT!!!☂”.

What are your thoughts on Tory Lanez divulging that Trina was helping him throughout the early stages of his career? Are you excited about the rerelease of his Lost Cause mixtape, why or why not? Have you ever heard this project? If so, what are your favorite tracks? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Boosie Badazz Claims Ralo Is “Obsessed” With Him After Latest Rant

Boosie Badazz and Ralo have made beefing a weekly occurrence on social media. These two veterans can’t seem to go more than a few days without going at each other’s necks. Boosie mocked Ralo for not having the career he’s had, and Ralo returned fire by implying Boosie was over the hill. The newest issue came about on September 30. Boosie Badazz posted a video in which he dapped up Yo Gotti, and Ralo claimed that Boosie’s behavior was disrespectful to the family of the late Young Dolph.

A few hours later, though, Ralo recanted his statement. He hopped on Instagram Live to clear the air between him and Boosie Badazz. He admitted he shouldn’t have jumped on the rapper for linking up with Yo Gotti. “I told my family, I told my staff, I told my team,” he explained. “My Muslim community… That I wasn’t gonna say sh*t else about the n**ga Boosie.” Ralo didn’t like what he saw, given Yo Gotti’s alleged ties to the Dolph shooting, so he spoke out. That said, he claimed to be done with Boosie. “But that’s my word, from now on,” he asserted. “I ain’t gonna say sh*t about the n**ga, zero. I’ma stay out for all the bullsh*t, I’ma stop trolling.” Want to guess how the other rapper responded?

Boosie Badazz Dissed Ralo Yet Again On Twitter

Boosie Badazz was a lot more economic with his response. Ralo dedicated a whole video to talking about the Memphis rapper, and what he intended to do from now on. Boosie, on the other hand, decided to do more trolling. “N**ga is obsessed,” he wrote. “Smh.” Devastating. Ralo may be the instigator in most of these Boosie Badazz interactions, but the latter seems to get the last laugh more often than not. To be fair to Ralo, the rapper provided some reasoning for his frustrations.

Boosie praised Yo Gotti for looking after his family while he was locked up. Conversely, Ralo claimed that Boosie did little to maintain a connection when he was locked up. This rubbed him the wrong way. “I was just mad that he did all that sh*t to me while I was in prison,” he told followers. “We couldn’t talk, we couldn’t meet up, so I was like, ‘f*ck it, n**ga ain’t my friend no way.’” Ralo has promised to turn over a new leaf, however. Assuming he makes good on his promise, the only way there will be more drama in the future is if Boosie Badazz is the instigator.

Drake Unfollows LeBron James And Kendrick Lamar On Instagram

Drake decided to clean house on October 1. The OVO co-founder was following lots of notable rappers and celebrities on Instagram, despite their seeming willingness to clown him. LeBron James was at the Kendrick Lamar “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. He was also caught on camera talking about how much he liked Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss. It seemed like Drake finally pulled the trigger on axing King James from his circle. He unfollowed the NBA superstar on Tuesday, along with a host of other big names.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Drake was unfollowing people left and right. He unfollowed Kendrick Lamar, which makes sense to an extent. If anything, it was strange that the 6 God was still following K. Dot after their battle. Drake also unfollowed Metro Boomin, Joe Budden, DeMar DeRozan and Playboi Carti. These all line up with the events of the battle. Metro Boomin started the whole thing with “Like That.” DeRozan danced on stage at the “Pop Out” and made a cameo in the “Not Like Us” video. Joe Budden has always been a vocal critic of the 6 God. The only real head scratcher in the bunch is Playboi Carti. The cult icon has worked with Drake on multiple occasions, including the recent song “No Face.”

Drake Is Still Following Future On Instagram

Drake and Carti appeared to have a solid relationship. The latter was, however, removed from the “No Face” version that landed on streaming. The 6 God’s decision may also stem from the people that Carti is affiliated with. Playboi Carti recently clowned streamer Adin Ross, who appears to have a good bond with Drizzy. He also dropped a massive collab single with The Weeknd, who has been one of Drake’s enemies for over a decade. DJ Akademiks documented these unfollowings on his own Instagram.

Interestingly, one artist involved in the battle was exempt. Despite being on the song that started the beef, “Like That,” Future is still being followed by Drake. Those who have been keeping up with the saga between these two artists know that Drake was particularly hurt by the falling out he had with Pluto. He said as much in the song “Family Matters.” “Pluto sh*t make me sick to my stomach, we ain’t never really been through it,” he raps. “Leland Wayne, he a f*ckin’ lame, so I know he had to be an influence.” Maybe there’s hope for a reconciliation down the line.

Drake Hints At Release Date For PARTYNEXTDOOR Collab Album

Drake has had an interesting 2024. It’s been an incredibly notable year, thanks to the Kendrick Lamar battle, but also because the rapper’s stranglehold over pop culture seems to be slipping. He’s dropped multiple songs, but not all of them have hit. In fact, he just dropped a video for “Wah Gwan Delilah,” one of the strangest releases of his career. Drake fans are waiting for him to rebound with a full project, and we may be getting one pretty soon.

The Instagram account Rap Direct posted a photo of Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR on September 30. The account reminded fans that a collab album between the two OVO artists is slated for release at some point this year. It was suggested that the fall would be the most likely window of time, but it’s been a long time since Drake or PND have commented on the album. That said, Drake stumbled upon the Rap Direct post. The 6 God liked the post, effectively confirming to fans everywhere that we will be getting the joint album in the fall.

Drake Confirmed That The PND Album Will Drop This Fall

Drake announced his plans for a PARTYNEXTDOOR collab in August. The rapper was coming off the K. Dot battle, and eager to get back to making quality music for the fans. He came out during a PND show and proceeded to blow the minds of OVO fans everywhere. “Once Summer over with,” Drizzy stated. “Do what you need to do, I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly… a PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you…”

PARTYNEXTDOOR confirmed the existence of the album a week after Drake’s announcement. He was asked which song from the album was his favorite, and avoided giving a direct answer. He did, however, reveal how many songs will be on the final tracklist. “The one we doing right now, all 15 we doing right now,” he asserted. PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped his last studio album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4, in April of this year. Drake was a huge fan, as evidenced by the promo he gave it on Instagram. “Played this 100000 times before release,” he wrote on his Story. “Wish they logged my streams.” Drizzy, meanwhile, dropped his last album, For All the Dogs, in 2023.

Nicki Minaj Pens Heartwarming Birthday Message To Her Son “Papa Bear”

Nicki Minaj is a proud mother. She’s spoken at length about the ways in which having a child has changed her life. She even went semi-viral recently, when she commented on a post by Rihanna and joked about the difficulty of raising little ones. Nicki Minaj kept the maternal theme going strong on September 30. The rapper decided to celebrate her son’s fourth birthday in style by posting a sweet tribute to him on Instagram.

Nicki Minaj posted photos and videos of her son in the days leading up to his birthday, but she saved the best for last. She posted a lengthy message describing just how important her son is to her. “Happy 4th birthday buddy,” she wrote. “You’ve made mama and daddy so happy. Since you were in mama’s tummy, you gave me a whole new meaning to life.” Nicki Minaj also thanked God for her son’s health and the tons of birthdays to come. “May God watch over you always and guide your path,” she added. “No weapon formed against me will prosper. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.”

Nicki Minaj Has Yet To Reveal Her Son’s Real Name

Nicki Minaj has walked a fine line between privacy and openness with her fanbase. She’s known for having one of the most passionate fanbases in music, but she has gone out of her way to keep her son’s name a secret. It’s still unclear what his birth name is, despite the fact that he is a consistent presence on the rapper’s social media. Nicki Minaj generally refers to her son by the nickname “Papa Bear,” hence its use in the aforementioned birthday post. The rapper first used the nickname in a January 2021 post.

“PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama,” Minaj wrote in the caption. “Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there.” Despite dedicating so much time to being a mother, Nicki Minaj’s career has not slowed down. The rapper has been touring her latest album, and getting into social media spats with the likes of JAY-Z. She recently called the kingpin out for not selecting Lil Wayne as the Halftime Show act for the next Super Bowl.
