Diddy Assisted Elon Musk In Taking Over Twitter

Diddy is in the news for very different and more harrowing reasons these days, but fans may be surprised at his tech investments. Moreover, a new document went public on Wednesday (August 21) that detailed the nearly 100 investors that helped Elon Musk turn Twitter into X with his $44 billion purchase of the platform in 2022. The Bad Boy mogul represented himself through Sean Combs Capital LLC and joined others like Bill Ackman, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, and Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud. However, it’s unclear how much he invested in the social media site. Also, the public doesn’t know who currently holds shares in the company.

As for Diddy and Elon Musk’s relationship, they went to a Dave Chappelle show in 2022, so they have some amicable history together. Of course, they both have much bigger fish to fry these days, most notable the former’s various sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking accusations. As for this situation, the most recent update we received concerned preparations from his legal team to combat these lawsuits. The Combs camp has vehemently denied any and all allegations that have not been proven true.

Diddy aside, Elon Musk is instead dealing with the harsh political climate of today’s Twitter, and Plies has a theory as to what his solution may be. “I Can See Elon Shutting Down Twitter When Trump Continues To Fall Behind In The Polls,” he tweeted. “He Brought Twitter To Influence The Election. An Before He Accepts A Trump Loss I Believe He’ll Shut It All Down!!!!!” Many others share a similar sentiment (however unlikely), but we can’t really say much about it until Election Day rolls around in the United States.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent recently reacted to a bizarre Diddy story about a cartel member suing him for refusing to traffic minors. It’s a strange claim, especially since many wondered whether or not this would constitute as self-snitching. Regardless, it’s one of a lot of obstacles in his way, a process that has been wild to witness on Elon Musk’s platform. We’ll see what happens with these controversial tycoons and the platforms and legacies that they must contend with.

Lil Yachty Pops Off On Mitch’s Ex-Girlfriend After She Threatened To Expose Him

Lil Yachty was the main character of social media on Thursday night and it was not for the best of reasons. Overall, it all had to do with a couple of ongoing situations. For instance, he was taking aim at Karrahboo, who recently left Concrete Boys. Yachty made the huge claim that he wrote all of her bars, and he even leaked some reference tracks. Meanwhile, Yachty was also dealing with his podcast co-host Mitch, whom he disrespected the other day while interviewing Key Glock.

Yachty had said that Mitch would not be successful if it were not for him. Many felt that this was the ultimate form of disrespect and that Yachty should make a valiant effort to apologize. Instead, Yachty went on a huge rant online where he even canceled the show entirely. Subsequently, Mitch’s ex-girlfriend hopped online and threatened to expose Yachty. From there, Yachty hit back and offered up some wild commentary in some now-deleted tweets.

Snoop Dogg’s Children’s Series Stirs Excitement For Back-To-School Season

Screenshot 2024 08 23 at 10.25.19 AM

ust in time for the back-to-school season, the beloved characters from the popular 3D animated series ‘Doggyland’– co-created in 2022 by Snoop DoggOctober London, and Claude Brookes –share a fun new learning anthem, “I Don’t Know” today (8/22/2024). Featuring Snoop Dogg as his character Bow Wizzle, the catchy tune delivers an upbeat and engaging message: it’s okay not to have all the answers.

The characters from ‘Doggyland’ bring this message to life in a fun and engaging way, encouraging young children to feel confident expressing uncertainty, and helping them to navigate the often challenging landscape of learning with curiosity and openness. By acknowledging that it’s normal not to know everything, the song fosters a healthy attitude towards asking questions and seeking knowledge. This approach not only supports cognitive development, but also contributes significantly to social-emotional growth.

The importance of social-emotional development in early childhood cannot be overstated. As children learn to manage emotions, build relationships, and make decisions, they also develop a stronger foundation for academic and personal success. “I Don’t Know” serves as a crucial tool in this development, teaching children that it’s okay to ask for help and to learn through exploration and inquiry. By normalizing uncertainty, the song helps create more organic learning opportunities
in daily life, whether in the classroom, at home, or during play.

I’m excited to share our Doggyland song and video ‘I Don’t Know’. This is specially made to get kids excited and motivated to never stop being curious and asking questions. We wanted to create a space where kids and families could be inspired to learn. Nobody knows everything and no one should be afraid to admit it.” – Snoop Dogg

Kanye West Dedicates A Track To Drake At “VULTURES” Listening Event And Fans Are Very Confused

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s recent VULTURES listening party in Korea on Thursday night (August 22) was more bizarre than most, and that’s saying something. Moreover, the reason why people raised their eyebrows at this particular event has to do with the former artist’s mention of one of his former friends turned current rivals. “This one’s for Drake, this one’s for Ian Connor,” Ye told the crowd when “I Wonder” started to play. Considering the track’s lyrical content and the questionable backgrounds of these figures, some fans took this as a diss about them being unable to find their dreams or a legitimate shoutout.

Either way, fans expressed confusion over this on social media, and aren’t really stepping in to defend neither Drake nor Ian Connor. Well, for Drizzy, a lot of fans think that Kanye West is just using his name for clout or once again walking back his previously negative stance on him. This year, that stance manifested into a “Like That” remix amid the Toronto rapper’s many beefs and plenty of disparaging comments down the line. Perhaps the sheer defeat he faced at the hands of Kendrick Lamar made Ye more sympathetic to his plight.

Kanye West Dedicates “I Wonder” To Drake & Ian Connor

Jokes aside, some recent new footage of both Kanye West and Drake paints this picture in a more complicated fashion. Ye spoke to Candace Owens in a resurfaced 2022 interview about the 6ix God. “Drake is the best rapper ever by the numbers. Jay-Z is the greatest rapper ever by the inspiration,” he remarked. It’s funny that all these three artists collaborated on a song five years after Aubrey pretty much provoked Ye and Hov’s Watch The Throne album in a competitive fashion.

Meanwhile, as part of his 100 GIGS footage release, Drake showed off the process behind creating the hook for Kanye West’s “Yikes.” As such, it’s a bizarre time to view the relationship between these two titans of the music industry. Fans have as much access to their collaborative highs as they do to their pettily personal lows. We’ll see whether Ye explains this dedication, and whether they will ever reconcile.

Mustard Completely Rules Out Working With Drake Following The Kendrick Lamar Beef

If you were hoping for a Drake and Mustard collaboration, we are sorry to break your heart. According to an interview with the Los Angeles Times (via AllHipHop), the California producer is totally ruling that possibility out. It makes sense, as he did concoct the already iconic instrumental for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”. Additionally, his X rant about his low album sales for Faith Of A Mustard Seed was another indicator. He claimed that Drizzy helped Gordo drop his LP (which contained Drake collabs) the same day as his.

“Drake is the Malcolm X of white people 😂”, Mustard began. “And Akademiks make sure you post Gordo’s first week since Drake thought he did a thing with making him drop on the same day as me 😂”. So, yeah, he’s made his feelings pretty clear, but this feature with the outlet shows just how much hate he has inside of him for Drizzy. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy”.

Mustard Is No Longer Messing With Drake

However, that quote is just the tip of the iceberg. When recalling the Pop Out show, he said it felt like everyone was getting rejuvenated. “I was right by the stage looking up at him as he was performing that night, and it was like everybody was getting healed”. Mustard said it had nothing to do with Drake, but all of the previous quotes we listed sort of contradict this one.

What are your thoughts on Mustard ruling out any possibility of working with Drake again? Do you think they will ultimately make up, why or why not? Is the hate for Drizzy going too far, or is it all valid? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Mustard and Drake Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Outkast Hits EDM Duo With Copyright Infringement Lawsuit For “ATLiens” Name

According to AllHipHop, Outkast has sued the EDM duo ATLiens for using their trademarked and iconic term without permission. Moreover, the lawsuit comes from High Schoolers LLC (André 3000 and Big Boi’s trademark holding company) against ATLiens Touring, Inc. The rap legends, along with their lawyers at Barnes & Thornburg LLC, seek to “permanently enjoin and restrained, directly or indirectly,” the electronic music group from using the name. Also, they wish to cancel U.S. Service Mark Registration No. 6,136,315 and to obtain consequential, compensatory, incidental, and other damages. Other considerations include royalties from this illegal activity’s profits, coverage of legal fees, and the complete removal of the dance artists’ use of the “ATLiens” name on the Internet.

“The defendant has and continues to sell tickets to concerts and give live performances in this state and District, with its next show being at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theater in Atlanta, Georgia on February 15, 2025,” Outkast’s lawsuit reportedly reads. “Defendant also advertises, offers for sale and sells products to consumers in this state and in this District though its interactive website, including merchandise bearing the ATLIENS mark. The word ATLIENS was invented by Outkast. Before Outkast created it, it [did not exist] in the cultural lexicon. In addition to the studio album ATLiens and the song ‘ATLiens,’ Plaintiff has used the ATLIENS mark as the title of a number of other distinct musical recordings. By way of example, but not necessarily limitation: (i) an album version of the ‘ATLiens’ song [appeared] on the ‘ATLiens/Wheelz of Steel’ CD Single.

“(ii) both an album version and an instrumental version of the ‘ATLiens’ song [appeared] on a M*** single,” Outkast’s suit continued. “(iii) three remixes, a ‘Bad Boy Remix,’ a ‘Bad Boy Instrumental’ and a ‘Bad Boy Alternative Mix’ of the ‘ATLiens’ song were featured on a Remix CD single; (iv) a clean version, album version, album instrumental and album acapella version of the ‘ATLiens’ song were featured on a 12′ Vinyl Single; and (v) ‘ATLiens’ was used on promo albums distributed by LaFace Records. Plaintiff is also the owner of all right, title and interest in and to the following United States Trademark and Service Mark Applications for its mark ATLIENS, which are presently valid and subsisting in law.

“Many years after Plaintiff commenced use of the ATLIENS mark as a trademark and service mark, many years after Plaintiff acquired common law rights in the ATLIENS mark, many years after Plaintiff commenced use of its ATLIENS mark in a manner analogous to trademark or service mark use, and many years after the ATLIENS mark became famous and inextricably associated with OUTKAST, Defendant formed an electronic dance music (“EDM”) duo in Atlanta, Georgia,” it concluded. “Upon information and belief, Defendant selected the name ATLIENS for their EDM duo to trade upon the tremendous fame and goodwill associated with Plaintiff’s ATLIENS album, song, and mark, or, at a minimum, to call to consumers’ minds Plaintiff’s famous ATLIENS album, song, and mark.”
