Moniece Slaughter Reveals Reason For Ending Pregnancy, Recalls Her Ex-Husband Abandoning Her

Moniece Slaughter has spoken at length about the decision she made to terminate her pregnancy and the users on social media who have spread the rumor that she lied about expecting. In a video online, she explained that she suffers from a heart condition and recalled her ex-husband abandoning her shortly after losing her unborn child.

“For everybody that’s calling me a liar about my pregnancy– If you were there for me, I love you. I appreciate you. You saw the medical papers and the ultrasounds and you were there for me on the day of my DNC. I’m grateful. I am tired. To say that you can’t believe that I was married to my husband because you think I lied about a pregnancy, a pregnancy that I bled out three times for, was hospitalized for, fought tooth and nail to keep. I had my thumbs tied on the table on the day of my DNC,” she said. “I will never experience motherhood again the natural way and that’s fine. But I had to do it. I had to do it on a heart condition. And I chose the best route for me which was I chose to terminate at 29 weeks– almost full term. If anybody wants to know, let’s just put it to rest. Let’s just put it to bed. Let’s just move on.”

Slaughter continued: “Y’all could believe my mother. Y’all could believe whoever you want but the people that were there were there. They saw my stomach. They saw my daughter kicking, they saw my stomach moving. I was in the dentist for prenatal gingivitis. My teeth were cracking at the crown… I was cracking teeth. You want to know what happened to my show? I wasn’t willing to film losing my child, that I didn’t have a stillborn, I didn’t miscarry, I chose, I made a decision for my ex-husband, the man that described me as the woman of his dreams, introduced me to his children, spent time around my son, answered my phone when I was down after my surgery, was in a group chat with me and my family to denounce our marriage and marriages that I hold sacred.”

Word from the rumor mill is that this project is a precursor to a different LP. There is no word on when that will drop, though. However, he is not alone on this cut. His friend and fellow rapper DDAWG joins him here and only one of them is bringing a lot of energy. You would think YB would be delivering his usual shouty cadence, but the opposite is true. Instead, he opts for a more subdued delivery. That happened all the way back in 2022 in September and it is certainly not his only run-in with the authorities. Moreover, she just released her first-ever music video as a feature on Rakeem Love’s “Do It Again,” a slow, sultry, and nocturnal fusion of rap and R&B with a moody NYC visual. It dropped Friday (March 8) and got assistance from City Help Productions, who also worked on MVs from Ice Spice and City Girl JT. Also, the video was brought in part by Quantum Swap AI, a crypto exchange that both Luanli and Love co-own in part.

Overall, it’s clear that talent runs pretty thick in the Maraj family. While not everyone was feeling Ming Luanli’s career when she teased new material, that was also the case for Nicki Minaj, and look at her now. As such, we can only expect this career and talent to grow over time, or at least manifest itself in the best possible way to fit her abilities. NYCs Museum Of Natural History is set to host a new exhibit featuring the bling from some of the game’s most notable names including A$AP Rocky and The Notorious B.I.G.

‘Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip-Hop Jewelry, is set to debut on May 9 and wiull feature other Hip Hop celebs including Tyler The Creator, Nicki Minaj, Erykah Badu and Slick Rick.

“Hip-hop jewelry has had a huge impact on our wider modern culture,” said Sean M. Decatur, the museum’s president, in a statement. “These jewelry pieces are not just magnificent in and of themselves, they’re an important part of hip-hop history and hip-hop culture as artists claimed and transformed traditional symbols of luxury and success.”

The exhibit borrowed its name from Vikki Tobak’s 2022 book, which uses 40 years of iconic imagery of some of Hip Hop’s biggest stars and compelling stories to celebrate how “ice” has become a “proclamation of identity and self-expression.”

The 388-page hardback book published by TASCHEN maps out the evolution of the Hip Hop jewelry game, from Run-DMC‘s gold adidas pendants and Eric B. & Rakim‘s ostentatious dookie rope chains and Mercedes medallions to the over-the-top pieces of today worn by the likes of Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, JAY-Z, Gucci Mane, Meek Mill, Cam’ron, Beyoncé and Rihanna.

Flau’jae Johnson’s Brother Clowned For Jumping On The Court Amid LSU & South Carolina Brawl

Flau’jae Johnson and the LSU Tigers were looking to do big things on Sunday as they played in the SEC finals. Overall, South Carolina came into the game undefeated and there was a sense that it would be a difficult game for the Tigers. In the end, that proved to be true as they lost the match 79-72. South Carolina came through with the SEC title and now, they get to go into March Madness with a huge advantage. However, the game wasn’t historic for the on-court product. Instead, it was the end-of-game fight that fans remember.

As we reported already, Flau’jae Johnson and Kamilla Cardoso got into it close to the end of the game. Johnson was shoved to the ground by Cardoso and it led to a bit of a brawl on the floor. Players had to be broken up and there were even some ejections that took place. However, the star of the entire scuffle was Flau’jae’s brother. In the footage below, you can see him spring into action to defend his sister. Once he made it to the floor, he realized he made a big mistake and was eventually taken away in handcuffs.

Following this event, Johnson was clowned on Twitter for his actions. After all, he is a grown man who jumped on the floor to go after college-aged women. It wasn’t the greatest look, and fans couldn’t help but point that out online. Not to mention, with the Tigers losing, it was simply insult to injury. Although, there were definitely some who appreciated Flau’jae’s brother for being a “real one” in this situation. It is clear that he has a lot of love for his sister, and he didn’t want her to be in a bad spot. Hopefully, he doesn’t do this again during March Madness.

For those who do not know, Clayco is a reference to Clayton County, Georgia. That just so happens to be the same area where Latto and her sister are associated with. However, most people were quite disgusted with Drake as Brooklyn is 21 where the OVO chief is 37. Because of the fairly wide age gap, fans are starting to compare this to Draya Michele and Houston Rockets player Jalen Green’s relationship.
