John Cena Accused Of Participating In Naked “Humiliation Ritual” At The Oscars

John Cena has become a massive star in Hollywood. Overall, he has been getting roles in some big movies, and some believe he is on a similar trajectory to The Rock. In fact, Cena got to present at The Oscars last night. However, his presentation proved to be a controversial one and for good reason. As many of you have already seen, Cena had to present naked, although he did have some protection on in case of any issues. He got quite a few laughs from the crowd, and it was a pretty big moment on social media.

Hollywood is a place that is wrapped up in conspiracy theories. Consequently, there were quite a few people who jumped to conclusions amid Cena’s presentation. For example, over at The Neighborhood Talk, there were many who likened the evening to some sort of “humiliation ritual” for Cena. “Humiliation ritual.. I don’t what bro is on but he about to blow after that,” one person wrote. “I know a humiliation ritual when I see one,” said another. Others simply posted gifs of Katt Williams, who told Shannon Sharpe about the concept of humiliation rituals.

John Cena Set For Suprise “Barbie” Movie Appearance

John Cena is an incredibly versatile individual. He’s been a professional wrestler since 1999 and made his most recent ring appearance at WrestleMania 39 earlier this month. However, he has had a varied acting career, appearing in everything from Fred: The Movie to Trainwreck to Fast X. He also has a hip hop album, 2005’s You Can’t See Me. Amongst all of this, he even found time to set the world record for most Make-A-Wish visits conducted.

When it comes to acting, it’s very clear that Cena is more than happy to make fun of himself. Whether that’s as Amy Schumer’s gay-innuendo-spewing boyfriend in Trainwreck or as a caveman version of himself as in The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown! Of course, he has had a plethora of action roles too, but he is most memorable when playing comedically. However, his next film role is set to be one of his more bizarre to date.

John Cena Is Mermaid Ken

We’re still trying to figure out just how the universe of Barbies and Kens works in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie movie. There is a multiple of Barbies and a multitude of Kens. Some Barbies have a Ken, but some Kens appear unattached. This is how we end up with the apparent situation that Gosling!Ken and Liu!Ken are both vying for the affection of Robbie!Barbie. Even then, Robbie’s Barbie and Gosling’s Ken do appear to be in a pre-existing relationship.

But now we appear to know the extent of one Barbie-Ken pairing in the film. Dua Lipa had been previously announced as “Mermaid Barbie” during the first set of promotional releases for the film. Every Barbie is themed and other Barbies we were made aware of include the likes of Issa Rae’s “President Barbie”. But attendees at CinemaCon, who are getting a first look at Barbie before its July release, have learned that Mermaid Barbie has a Mermaid Ken. Mermaid Ken is set to be played by John Cena. It’s absolutely masterful casting and no matter how small the role is, Cena will almost certainly slay it. Barbie will premiere on July 21.

John Cena Steps Out In A School Girl Skirt & High Heels, Social Media Reacts

John Cena is best known for the countless years he spent tearing up the WWE ring. He chiefly took on iconic opponents such as Batista, The Rock, and Rob Van Dam. Of course, the 45-year-old has taken a break from the sport more recently. Instead, he’s turning his energy toward his acting career. The athlete landed his first big non-WWE credit in 2006 playing John Triton in The Marine.

Since then, he’s gone on to appear in Parks and Recreation, Trainwreck, Daddy’s Home, and its 2017 sequel. Additionally, the Massachusetts-born entertainer has credits for his work in F9: The Fast Saga, and as the DC Comics universe character Peacemaker in both The Suicide Squad film and his own TV show. Needless to say, he’s proven that his acting chops are just as impressive as his wrestling skills.

For his latest movie, Cena has been hanging out in Melbourne, Australia with costars like Zac Efron and William H. Macy. The trio all appear in Ricky Stanicky, a Peter Farrelly-directed comedy that’s sure to keep audiences laughing. It follows three friends who wind up burning down a house while playing a prank. Afterward, they create a fake character to blame their risky actions on.

As the New York Post reports, the troublesome teens continue to use the fictional character as an excuse for several decades. However, when they portray an actor to bring Stanicky to life, things become complicated. Many details about the upcoming project are under wraps at this time, though cameras have caught photos of Cena on set sporting a school girl-style mini skirt, makeup, high heels, and tights.

Those seeing the former rapper’s costume out of context have been expressing concern for him on social media. However, Cena’s recent tweets make it evident that he’s having a great time shooting Ricky Stanicky. “Beyond excited to help bring these characters to life (both on- and off-screen) with an incredible cast, our director and producers and partners at @AmazonStudios @primevideo,” he wrote on February 1st.

Elsewhere in the news, Cena was in the headlines just last month for giving G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo his flowers. The WWE alum is perhaps best known for his “you can’t see me” dance move that he popularized in the ring. However, it turns out he’s not actually the mastermind behind its invention.

That credit goes to the 44-year-old, who first saw the New York rapper perform the wave during his “So Seductive” video. Later on, his brother, Sean, dared him to recreate the moment during his next televised match, and the rest is history. Read everything John had to say about his stolen signature move here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Maxo Kream And Benny The Butcher Serve The Block In The Head-Bopping ‘Football Heads’ Video

The art of rap is beautiful in itself, but it’s a special treat when rappers can infuse uncommonly used pop culture references in their bars. Maxo Kream does just that in his video for “Football Heads” featuring Benny The Butcher. Maxo executes a drug transaction outside of a store, raps in the middle of a football field, and nods his head while sitting in the stands surrounded by men wearing football helmets. He references Helga from the popular Nickelodeon show Hey Arnold! as well as WWE superstar John Cena.

Benny, on the other hand, shrinks to a miniature version of himself while rapping atop a table garnished with beer cans and drug paraphernalia. The mid-tempo production allows both to flex their lyrical prowess and remind us that they serve the best product on the block. “Football Heads” marks the first collaboration between the Houston and Buffalo rappers.

For Maxo, this follows “Jigga Dame” which was released earlier this year in addition to his features on “Loot,” “Overseas,” and “Throw’d As It Gets.” Benny shared “Benny’s Got A Gun” and appeared on “X-Rated,” in addition to his March 2022 project Tana Talk 4 highlighted by “Johnny P’s Caddy” featuring J. Cole.

John Cena Says His ‘You Can’t See Me’ Gesture Was Inspired By G-Unit’s Tony Yayo

John Cena recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new HBO Max series Peacemaker, dressed in his wardrobe from the show. During the conversation, Fallon asked Cena for the backstory behind his infamous “You Can’t See Me” gesture, which became popular during his peak days as a wrestler in the WWE. Cena explained that the gesture started as a dare between him and his little brother Sean.

“The reason I did this is cause while we were making the album to which my theme music is on, my younger brother, Sean, was always our litmus test,” Cena said. “He kinda liked the same music and he would never go to the studio with us and we’d come home with our tracks and play it for him and he was ruthless man. He would never be satisfied with any song.

“He heard ‘My Time Is Now’ and just did this dance that Tony Yayo did in one of the G-Unit videos,” Cena continued. “It was like, he put his hand over his head and just kind of bobbed his head… and I was like, ‘Man, what are you doing? That looked just ridiculous.’ He said, ‘No, no, it’s Tony Yayo, he’s doing this thing.’”

Cena then suggested that he would mimic the move the next time he was on television, which prompted a dare from his little brother. Cena went through with the dare and the rest is history. “Years later, it just overcame the meme culture and now, literally, I’m invisible,” Cena added. “People are like, ‘Why is Jimmy Fallon talking to an empty chair?’ So many people are going to say that. So I’m invisible now. On a dare, by accident.”

Tony Yayo caught wind of Cena’s comments and showed him some love on Twitter. “Shout out to John Cena,” he wrote in a tweet.
