Jeezy Accuses Jeannie Mai Of Seeking Revenge Because He Didn’t Want Another Child

In September of last year, Jeezy filed for divorce from his now-estranged wife Jeannie Mai after two years of marriage. Unfortunately, things have become “increasingly contentious” in the months since. Just last week, Mai accused the rapper of domestic violence and child neglect. In court documents obtained by The Shade Room, the TV personality alleged that she was pushed down a flight of stairs, struck in the face, and more. She also alleges that their one-year-old daughter Monaco was left alone with a gun, putting her at serious risk.

These allegations came out amid their ongoing custody battle over the child, and Jeezy has since denied them. “The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” he said in a statement. “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody.”

Now, Jeezy is firing back, accusing Mai of seeking revenge because he didn’t want to have a second child with her. In court documents obtained by TMZ, he alleges that after he notified her of his plans to file for divorce, she went to IVF specialists in hopes of getting pregnant. He claims that he didn’t approve of this, but accuses her of going through with it regardless.

Jeezy also alleges that between the two of them, Mai was the volatile and violent one in their relationship. Mai has yet to respond to these allegations. Hazel-E Accuses Ray J Of Setting Her Up For Masika Kalysha Fight

Hazel-E and Masika Kalysha have had their fair share of disagreements in the past, but it looks like a recent and alleged one might’ve caught them by surprise even with their history. Well, we at least know that one of the parties feels that way, and she’s demanding answers. Moreover, Hazel recently went on Instagram Live to claim that Ray J set her up for a pool fight with Masika, which was then interrupted by a man who tried to calm her down and explain the situation. It’s unclear exactly who this is, although the entertainment figure suggested that this is one of Ray’s managers.

Furthermore, these are all still accusations at the end of the day, none of which saw confirmation or denial by other sources at press time. Whoever this mystery man is, though, he tried to explain to Hazel-E that he and Ray J did their part to seemingly try to rein in Masika Kalysha’s behavior. It all seems like a pretty complicated web for unknown reasons, but there’s actually some bizarre connections here that date circumstances like this back a couple of years, at least. Back around August of 2022, Masika sued Hazel and the Zeus Network over an alleged brawl for $6 million.

Meanwhile, even Ray J himself has some more tea to handle when it comes to the rift between Hazel-E and Masika Kalysha. For example, Masika asked Ray if he regrets having relations with Hazel “decades ago,” and he pretty much ducked the question. There’s clearly a lot of tension here that kept its fire and animosity for years at this point. Hopefully the next time that they meet, everyone is exactly on the same page as to what would go down.

Aside from the Hazel-E and Masika Kalysha situation, Ray J caused some more stir recently with headlines wholly of his own doing. He recently admitted that his face tattoos, which prompted a lot of concerned conversations, were fake. When it comes to that saga, it’s unclear how much of it is engagement baiting and how much of it was genuine. But maybe all these situations blur the line between those just a little too much.

Sexyy Red Joins Country Artist Zach Bryan Onstage In St. Louis

Sexyy Red is certainly no stranger to collabs, but usually, she limits them to the realm of hip hop. In the past, she’s worked alongside Nicki Minaj, Drake, Chief Keef, and many more. Recently, however, she decided to go outside of her comfort zone to join Zach Bryan onstage. The country artist was performing in her hometown of St. Louis earlier this week when he brought her out. Of course, she showed off some of her signature moves, twerking and dropping it low as the crowd went wild.

The moment was pretty unexpected, but nonetheless, fans are here for it. Some even think Sexyy Red should try her hand at country music now. After all, the crossover has worked out for Beyonce, Lil Nas X, and more. She thanked Bryan for inviting her in a Tweet today, also sharing various fun photos and clips from the evening. “When you from the hood but you got ah country friend,” she captioned a shot of her and Bryan.

Sexyy also let her fans know “how a hood b*tch pull up to a country concert,” flaunting an outfit consisting of denim shorts, a cropped jacket, and a pair of sneakers. Of course, she also topped the look off with her signature “Big Sexyy” chain and some shades. It remains unclear whether or not she and Bryan plan to hit the studio together anytime soon, or if her recent appearance was just for fun. Either way, they both seemed to have a blast.

Bryan even posed for a few photos alongside the femcee, holding two large stacks of cash. “True, damn, you making noise boy Thank you @SexyyRed314_ and thank God for St. Louis, Missouri,” he wrote. Dave East is one of New York’s hardest working rappers going right now and “SO MUCH CHANGED” shows that blue-collar mentality tenfold. This is the Harlem resident’s latest release, and it doubles as a lead single for yet another new project. The “Phone Jumpin” artist is teaming up with a new producer this time around for Apt 6E. This time around, Harry Fraud of 2 Piece is being replaced by the equally talented duo Mike & Keys.

There is no release date yet, but hopefully the gap in between this single and the final product will not be too unbearable. Also joining Dave East on this effort is frequent rap chorus expert and singer Stacy Barthe. Many hip-hop heads will remember her most for her beautiful contributions to the late Nipsey Hussle track “Victory Lap.” On “SO MUCH CHANGED,” Dave raps with a lot of passion and at a perfect pace to boot.

You can almost hear a bit of Tupac’s influence shining through from the flow side of things. Meek Mill Thinks “Hate Campaign” Against Him Will Work In His Favor

Once Meek Mill moves away from being outspoken to a fault on social media, you will know that hell has frozen over. Moreover, he’s tired of people speaking on his name and dragging him through the mud as of late online, a sentiment that he expressed through a simple tweet on Friday (May 3). “Them hate campaigns gonna make the people love me more when they find out who’s really who in this s**t!” the Philly MC expressed on his account. With this idea, he’s suggesting that this will all work out for him in the long run, as there’s apparently more to expose about his detractors, enemies, and attackers than they’d have you believe.

Furthermore, this is likely a reference to how people have treated or referred to Meek Mill ever since his name came up in the Diddy scandal. These allegations frame him as more of an unfortunate participant and possibly even a victim of serious sex-related crimes, and point to his association. While the Dream Chasers rapper has denied any and all claims, they continue to be a punchline against him from other social media users.

However, Meek Mill’s spent a lot of time addressing this so-called “hate campaign” online, so his responses have just added fuel to trolls’ fire. For example, folks clowned him for a recent outfit, which he also responded to and called out unnecessary hate over. Whether or not that’s valid, pretty much anyone’s association with one of the biggest scandals in recent memory in the pop culture world would put a target on their backs. So this “hate campaign” is unsurprising, often unjust, but also exacerbated by continuous responses to it.

As such, a lot of folks would rather have Meek Mill take some time off and focus on himself, something that he definitely did but couldn’t prioritize over the temptation of distraction. Maybe this is a trend cycle that he could’ve avoided if folks weren’t trying to egg him on so heavily. But at the same time, sometimes clowning is inevitable. All we can hope for the “Came From The Bottom” spitter is that he’s finding peace elsewhere.

Channel Tres Begins Rollout For His Impending Debut Album With Lead Single “Berghain” Featuring Barney Bones

After a handful of EPs, loads of features across multiple genres, and several loose singles, Compton, California multi-talent Channel Tres is prepping for his debut album. According to multiple reports, including Pitchfork, the soon-to-be 33-year-old is titling the project Head Rush. The release date is June 14 and will be released through RCA records. To get the ball rolling on it, Channel Tres has decided to drop the project’s lead single “Berghain,” with fellow Cali artist Barney Bones. Over the course of his complex career, Channel has never really fit into one genre. His chameleon-like tendencies shine through on this nightclub ready track once again.

The comparison is apt here because this song has a personal tie to the Berlin, Germany club of the same name. It is personal due to the fact that Channel visited this location, and it inspired him to create this trippy and hypnotic cut. “It’s about the time I played Berghain and how the culture in that environment made me feel, I didn’t feel weird anymore. Everyone’s the same, the goal for everyone in that place is to enjoy themselves and be free, and music played a pivotal role in that, said Tres.

“It was the main thing for me, and I wanted to document that experience I had there through music so that I always have that memory in my life. Kendrick Lamar Accuses Drake & OVO Of Trafficking Women On New Diss Track

Kendrick Lamar and Drake are looking like two knocked-out boxers in the ring after a simultaneous final blow after their diss tracks (“Meet The Grahams” plus “6:16 In LA” and “Family Matters,” respectively) dropped yesterday (Friday, May 3). Moreover, both tracks contained a litany of allegations against the other, kicking off with The Boy’s claims about K.Dot. In it, he claims that the former TDE MC is still cheating on his fiancée (or wife?) Whitney Alford, who apparently hasn’t married him yet despite becoming engaged years ago, and that one of Kendrick’s kids with her is not actually his, but rather Dave Free’s. He’s the Compton lyricist’s manager, which obviously paints a pretty nasty picture… that only got nastier.

Furthermore, this all took a backseat for a brief moment when Kendrick Lamar dropped “Meet The Grahams” and his own set of allegations. Many are talking about the claim that Drake is hiding an 11-year-old daughter, which he’s already denied on social media. However, a more damning accusation is that Drizzy is part of a sex trafficking ring through OVO. Kendrick is likely alluding to Baka, a rapper and former security guard of the camp who was arrested for human trafficking and whose charges were later dropped.

But make no mistake: this was mutually assured destruction, as Drake accused Kendrick Lamar of committing domestic violence against his partner on “Family Matters.” The former has had a lot of experience with sidestepping (in other words, ignoring) claims against him, whereas the latter is a much more private person with therefore much more to lose. No one knows for sure who’s telling the truth and who’s bluffing right now, but one thing is clear. Even if some or all of this comprises of fabrications, they seem in no fit position to comment on the other’s complicity in horrid sex crimes.

After all, one of these artists featured Kodak Black on their album, and the other praised Chris Brown in a diss track accusing his opponent of domestic violence. Many declared a winner already, but it feels like everyone is losing right now. That might not be how the culture remembers the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef. But it’s a big sting to contend with right now, and one that audiences hopefully seek accountability for until receipts emerge.

Rugged lyricist from New York, Rome Streetz, is continuing to build off an impressive run in 2023 with Brooklyn producer Wavy Da Ghawd on Buck 50. This is the duo’s first project together and it comes in the form of a six-song collection that shows how in sync these two are. It might stem from the fact that these guys have developed quite the friendship. According to an interview with Throw Up, they asked Wavy Da Ghawd how they crossed paths and begain to develop chemistry.

“In 2018, when I first moved to NYC, the first rapper I met was Rome, Rim, and Sauce Heist in the same vicinity. Ever since then I engaged by giving beats to all of them and relationships were born. These guys and many more grew to be a strong faction to my career,” Wavy said. For the multi-cultural beatmaker this is his second project of the year, following an effort with Passport Rav on Bermuda Triangle.

It is also his third offering overall, so the man’s cache is still growing. However, you would not be able to tell that he is relatively new to this. The meticulous and aggressive lyrics and flows from Streetz, along with the luscious boom-bap production just make sense.
