Here’s How To Dress Like Beyoncé For Halloween

With just one week left until Halloween, here’s how you can pull together a last-minute look inspired by Beyoncé. Whether you’re a casual fan or a hardcore member of the BeyHive, one of these is sure to be as big a hit at your Halloween party as Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour film will be at the box office.

The best part? There are plenty of choices from the “Plastic Off The Sofa” singer that’ll be instantly recognizable from her music videos to her live performances, yet easy and inexpensive to put together — the best of both worlds.

Here’s How To Dress As Beyoncé For Halloween

Foxy Cleopatra Beyoncé

Beyoncé didn’t get the best reviews for her film debut in Austin Powers In Goldmember, but there’s no arguing that her looks in the film were nothing short of iconic. A local costume shop or thrift store should have some shiny gold bell-bottom pants and an afro wig. Tie up your shirt in the middle and voila!

“Apesh!t” Beyoncé

Admittedly, this one works best as a couple costume, but just like on The Carters’ debut album Everything Is Love, all it’ll take is a pink suit (and/or an aquamarine one) to turn heads and make you the star of the show.

“Crazy In Love” Beyoncé

White halter tank top? Check. Blue cut-off jean shorts? Double-check (or cheeked). Fire engine-red pumps? Whew. The only thing I can’t help you with is that strut, or hitting your “uh-oh” dance. Only a few hours in front of a full-length mirror can solve that one.

“Be Alive” Beyoncé

Here’s one that you can have fun with. Beyoncé opened the 2022 Academy Awards at the tennis courts in Compton where Venus and Serena Williams honed their craft, and appropriately, she basically dressed as a tennis ball. You can get as abstract or as literal with this monochromatic ensemble as it takes.

HBCU Beyoncé

This distinctive look from Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella headlining performance should be easy to pull off — it’s just a pair of denim shorts, a yellow sweatshirt, and a pair of calf-length high-heel boots. Bedazzle yourself a sorority logo and throw some tassels on the boots and you’re good to go… bonus points if you actually went to an HBCU and/or rushed a sorority.

There you have it! Just one last thing: This should really go without saying, but stay away from blackface — it’s a bad look.

Drake Doppelganger Turns Up Club Night In Brooklyn To Hilarious Viral Results

Fake Drake strikes again… well, not the one you already know, but a completely new doppelgänger throwing his hat into the ring. Moreover, a clip recently went viral of a fan impersonating the OVO mogul at a Brooklyn nightclub as they played his classic 2011 track “Take Care.” You can see a lot of camera lights on him as people are taking note of his cornrows, his large grey sweatshirt akin to the “Hotline Bling” music video fit, and the fact that he knows every single word to the song. Of course, it doesn’t look exactly like Drizzy, so maybe it’s not as convincing as people would like it to be for this level of virality. Nevertheless, it’s the passion that counts, and people’s cheers speak louder than words.

Furthermore, you can hear as many folks in the crowd sang along to every word of “Take Care” alongside this new Fake Drake. Not only that, but it’s possible that this was one of those club nights during which they advertise a specific artist for the dance floor. Maybe it was OVO night at this Brooklyn venue, and the fan had to come well-dressed for the occasion and prepared to impress and prompt the typical “Oh my God, you look just like him, that is so funny!” comment from a patron or two… or the whole joint. Also, the big elephant to address is that yes, it is Halloween season, so this makes it a little less random.

Another Fake Drake Goes Viral: Watch

On top of all of that, it’s also around the time of Drake’s birthday, which gives fans yet another reason to celebrate. After all, the now-37-year-old did plenty over the past few days to celebrate. In fact, there’s been no shortage of celebrations from fans, friends, family, and the industry itself. For example, the RIAA gave him a couple more certifications and made him the first artist to sell over 200 million certified single units.

Meanwhile, do you think that this die-hard nailed the costume? What rapper would you try to emulate with a Halloween fit this year? Let us know in the comments section down below. Also, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake… and his clones.

Chloe Bailey Shares Pics Of Her “Game Of Thrones” Halloween Costume

Fans of Chloe Bailey are no strangers to her sharing gorgeous-looking pictures on Instagram. Normally she’s showing off some bikini pics in a scenic locale or showing off some choreography and outfits for her tour. But this time around she surprised her fans with a heavily themed photoshoot showing off her Halloween costume. The character she chose to dress up as is Daenerys Targaryen from Game Of Thrones. “I am Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons,” she captioned her Instagram post accompanied by 7 different photos of her costume.

As is often the case with Halloween costumes, the outfit was made a bit sexier than the original character. While some took to the comments to loft praise onto Chloe for the look, others focused in on its accuracy. “Overly sexualized, I don’t remember Danni dressing like this in any episode,” one of the top comments reads. “You look damn good Chlo but I’m sorry it’s not giving mother of dragons,” another agrees. Elsewhere in the comments fellow celebs like Victoria Monet and her own sister Halle Bailey showed their support. Check out the full post below.

Chloe Bailey’s Halloween Look

In an interview last month, Chloe Bailey revealed her biggest celebrity crush. As funny as it is hearing somebody who is already a celebrity talk about their celeb crush, she gave an answer that resonated with many. “I’ll say it. Michael B. Jordan. That’s my celebrity crush. I’ve been said that in interviews even like years ago.”

Earlier in September, Chloe wrapped up her In Pieces tour. It was her first ever headlining tour as a solo artist on the back of her debut solo album of the same name earlier this year. The album has spawned a couple of hits for Chloe, most notably the lead single “Pray It Away” and the Chris Brown collaboration “How Does It Feel.” What do you think of Chloe Bailey dressing up as a Game Of Thrones character for Halloween?

Here’s how to dress as Drake for Halloween

(As always, though, and forever — please do not don blackface for any reason. You will look dumb and any future business or political aspirations you may have will die on the spot.)

“Hotline Bling” Drake

This one’s easy. All you’ll need is a neutral-colored turtleneck sweater, a pair of grey sweatpants, and hi-top Timberland boots. For the guys, get a low fade and grow out that beard and for the ladies, there are glue-on beards to fake it. Good luck with that hair though. Maybe a bald cap?

“No New Friends” Drake

This one may admittedly take a bit more work, if only to track down the vintage Dada fit fans couldn’t stop making memes about in 2013. To complete Drake’s throwback ’90s look here, grab some black Doc Martens and calf-length black socks with white stripes, topping it off with a pair of stunna shades.

“Drake As Drake’s Dad” Drake

Simple, yet effective. Although, you might have to take a trip to the hood, sorry. Any beauty supply shop should have the crochet kufi cap you need, then it’s just a matter of throwing on an all-white suit with a chain and fake pair of spectacles (or your real ones for my fellow visually-impaired).

“For All The Dogs” Drake

First, hit either your local swap meet for the throwback FUBU tee or customize yourself a jacket covered in “Vs” (a tribute to the late Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s former head of menswear), then throw in a cluster of brightly colored barrettes. Voila!

Sexyy Red Shows Off Her Devil Costume

The “Pound Town” performer appears unbothered in her latest batch of photos, despite some recent rumored beef with Latto. Fans suspected that Sexyy was throwing shade at the “Put It On Da Floor” performer after she shared a Tweet referencing the comeback of True Religion shortly after Latto was seen wearing a pair of the brand’s jeans. Sexyy Red shut down the speculation, however, letting followers know that she would have been up more up front if there was really beef. “Definitely not shading her I’m direct wit it whatever I gotta say,” she wrote.

While Latto calls speculation that she copied anyone “cr*zy,” the debacle prompted another female MC to chime in. Ice Spice took to her own page, reposting a fan’s Tweet claiming that she’s the one behind the revival of early-2000s fashion. “Truthfully them bchs ain’t start BACK dressing in the jeans, BB belts, & jackets MAINSTREAM, until ice spice did it for the in ha mood video,” the fan wrote. “It doesn’t matter who was doing it b4 fame, you stopped & started back when you saw the look was coming back last year lmao.” What do you think of Sexyy Red’s Halloween costume? 7 John Carpenter Horror Movies That Aren’t “Halloween”

Halloween has spawned numerous classic horror film franchises over the decades. One of the most iconic of these is the 1978 feature film,  Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. He has also influenced many subsequent directors and horror films over the decades. So this spooky season, even though his classic film of the same name will be watched by many, there are a lot more entries available if you’re looking to expand your horizons.

A handful of notable names have Halloween birthdays, enjoying a double dose of celebration. Moreover, many celebrities born on October 31 use the opportunity to have Halloween-themed birthdays or release music referencing the holiday.

7 Horror Movies From 2023 That You Must Watch This Halloween

This year has been great for fans of horror movies. Evidently, the genre is still alive and well. Better yet, with independent companies like A24 spewing out newfound horror classics, the decade promises to be a treat for the genre. From psychological to supernatural horror, there have been an impressive number of movie offerings. Fortunately, directors continue to push boundaries, repeatedly rejuvenating new life into the genre.

Remarkably, ratings for horror films this year have stayed markedly high on average. In addition, a handful of films released this year have certainly joined the ranks of horror favorites. Classic franchises like Saw were rejuvenated, while new entries like Talk to Me have won the hearts of horror fans. Besides the usual Halloween horror classics, these seven horror films from 2023 are a must-see!

Infinity Pool

This Brandon Cronenberg film features both horror and sci-fi elements. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Mia Goth, Cleopatra Coleman, and Jalil Lespert in lead roles. Infinity Pool follows a writer (played by Skarsgård) and his wife who take a trip to the fictional country of Li Tolqa on vacation. While at a resort there, they befriend another couple who encourage them to go out and have more fun. Subsequently, an unfortunate accident sets off a series of very unexpected events. Infinity Pool is available to stream on Hulu, Prime Video, and Apple TV.

Saw X

Saw X is a direct sequel to the original Saw film released in 2004. It picks up from where the first film left off, and focuses closely on the central character, Jigsaw. Saw X offers viewers a detailed backstory on the events that happened with the depraved character before his demise in Saw III. Released less than a month ago, it has been widely praised as arguably the best film in the entire franchise. The claim is evidenced by the impressive 84% Rotten Tomatoes score the movie boasts of. Tobin Bell has also received widespread praise for his performance as John Kramer/Jigsaw in the film. The movie is projected to be in theaters until mid-November at least.

Evil Dead Rise

This is the fifth installment in the Evil Dead film franchise. The film revolves around two sisters Beth and Ellie, and Ellie’s three children. After an earthquake hits and unveils a concealed chamber in their basement, the kids accidentally awaken a malevolent supernatural entity. The night takes a terrifying turn soon after, and the family has to fight to stay alive. Overall, the film has impressive effects, and effective scares, making it one of the most thrilling horror movies this year. Evil Dead Rise is available for streaming on Max, Apple TV, and Prime Video.

Scream VI

The sixth installment in the Scream film series was one of the first horror films to drop this year. The slasher film is one of the best in the entire franchise, and received generally favorable reviews when it was released. A handful of actors from the 2022 film Scream also reprised their roles, including Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown, among others. Even after five films, the franchise manages not to be grossly cliché, and Scream VI is an exciting and fresh addition to its roster. Additionally, the movie offers great scares, as well as some good laughs. Scream VI can be streamed on Paramount+.

The Blackening

Released on June 16, 2023, The Blackening is a black comedy slasher film set on Juneteenth. The movie is based on a short film of the same name by the comedy group 3Peat. The Blackening follows a group of friends who rent out a cabin in the woods to celebrate Juneteenth. After discovering a board game in the basement called “The Blackening,” they start getting killed off one by one by an enigmatic figure. The Blackening is notable for its unique blend of horror elements and satirical comedy. It is sure to bring out several laughs (as well as a few screams, maybe) out of you. The film is available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

No One Will Save You

This exciting addition to the sci-fi horror genre takes alien abduction to a whole new level. After seeing this movie, viewers may not be so keen on an alien invasion anymore if they were in the first place. No One Will Save You was only just released on September 19. However, it has already solidified itself as one of the best horror movies of 2023. The film excellently combines elements of horror, as well as science fiction. Furthermore, it features a palpable sense of dread that rises the longer you watch. No One Will Save You can be streamed on Hulu and Disney Plus’ content hub, Star.

Talk to Me

Undoubtedly, A24’s Talk to Me is the undisputed champion of horror movies in 2023 so far. Upon its theatrical release in July this year, the film didn’t take long to achieve widespread critical acclaim. The film is arguably the most chilling watch of the year, and will leave almost any viewer spooked for a long time. Sophie Wilde, who plays the lead character Mia, gives a breakthrough performance in her role. Talk to Me is an absolute must-see, especially for fans of horror, especially supernatural horror. The film is now available on streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
