Kanye West Revisits Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne Halloween Costumes After Uncleared Sample Roast

Yesterday, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign hosted a listening party in Chicago for their upcoming album, Vultures. While attendees were glad to get a taste of what’s to come ahead of the release, not everybody was pleased. Earlier today, Ozzy Osbourne slammed Ye on Twitter/X, claiming that he used his sample when he explicitly told him he didn’t have permission.

“[He] WAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY,” Ozzy explained. Shortly after Ozzy’s post, his wife Sharon jumped into the debacle, similarly blasting Ye for his use of the sample. “Kanye f***ed with the wrong Jew this time,” she told TMZ, also calling him a “pig” who “represents hate.”

Kanye West Reacts To Ozzy Osbourne Calling Him Out

Clearly, neither of them was thrilled to be associated with Kanye, or so it seems. In response to their comments, Ye recently took to social media to remind fans of their 2023 Halloween costumes. Ozzy dressed up as Kanye while Sharon dressed up as his wife, Bianca Censori. He posted a screenshot of a text conversation with an unknown individual, which included of photo of Ozzy and Sharon in their costumes. “He obviously has a celebrity handler who’s on his account,” the unknown person wrote.

Ye then reposted a fan’s Tweet about DJ Roca’s response to being sampled by him, seeming to imply that Ozzy should be grateful. Some fans think he and Sharon’s costumes suggest that they were fans of Ye, at least at some point. Others argue that they simply “think he’s ridiculous.” What do you think of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne putting Kanye West on blast for using a sample without permission? What about Ye responding by posting a photo of their Halloween costumes? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Bianca Censori’s Sister Cosigns Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne’s Costumes Of Her & Kanye West

One of the funniest and timeliest couples costumes this Halloween came from none other than metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon. Moreover, they donned an all-black-covered fit and a nude bodysuit with a pillow, respectively, to transform into everyone’s favorite fashionably provocative couple these days: Kanye West and Bianca Censori. Of course, many people got a good laugh out of this interpretation, and we wonder what the Yeezy duo thought of the Osbourne’s fits. Well, if the architect is anything like her sister, then we know that she probably thought it was at least worth reposting.

Furthermore, Bianca Censori’s sister, Angelina, reposted Sharon Osbourne’s snap of their Halloween fits on her Instagram page. She didn’t add any captions, emojis, or any other context: just the the pic of the homage… or of the jab. Either way, Angelina also reposted a picture of Kanye West and her sister in the original outfits that The Osbournes based their look on. Overall, it doesn’t seem like the Censoris have much to say about them other than a slight nod of approval and a small smile. Or at least, that’s what Bianca’s sister’s social media activity translates to.

Kanye West & Bianca Censori’s Original Fits That The Osbournes Spoofed

Regardless of this comical crossover, it actually wouldn’t be the first time that Ozzy Osbourne in particular seemed to target the Chicago rapper. When Kanye West was at the height of his presidential aspirations in 2020, the Black Sabbath icon started selling “Ozzy For President” merch online. Some interpreted this as a joke against Ye, either mocking his perceived delusions or simply playing into the meme. But another possibility is also on the cards: that Ozzy might’ve even felt inspired by the 46-year-old, but not enough to truly back up his loftily-aimed T-shirts with a candidacy.

Meanwhile, we’re sure that Bianca and Kanye will have plenty more outfits to spoof in the future. As for Ozzy and Sharon, they’re just living their life relatively off the grid when compared to their previous pop culture visibility. That peace is an important thing to preserve, but no one complained when they popped out to pay somewhat of an homage to a hot topic in the headlines these days. For more on Kanye West, Bianca Censori, and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, come back to HNHH.

What Was Ice Spice’s Halloween Costume?

Ice Spice has been under a microscope for a year-plus, tracing back to the TikTok virality and eventual pop cultural ubiquity of “Munch.” The Bronx, New York rapper’s appearances at the 2023 Met Gala and, most recently, the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live were widely applauded. But Ice Spice’s Halloween costume? Not across the board — although it made Uproxx’s “Best Halloween Costumes From Music Artists” list.

Ice Spice performed as Betty Boop during the annual Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. She posted an Instagram carousel alongside the caption, “guess who ;*,” with the symbols presumably meant to convey a winky, kissing face.

As Ice Spice left the stage, she caught something thrown at her and smacked her bare booty. After the show, Ice Spice posted a photo of a King James Bible to her since-expired Instagram Story, writing, “why a fan gave me a bible after the show [laughing-crying emoji].”

While there were plenty of supportive comments on Ice Spice’s Instagram post, it would appear that Nikki D, the first-ever woman rapper signed to Def Jam, agreed with the anonymous Bible-gifting fan. She posted a video of Ice Spice’s performance alongside the unnecessarily critical caption, “Oh come TF on!!! You mean to tell me, this is true talent.. the Female genre of hip hop today is the ‘prostitution era’, fight me!! Notice the ONLY 2x’s the crowd reacts.. during the familiar ‘munch line’ and when she turns around to show her ass!! She’s one of the top female rappers out at the ‘moment’.. where’s her show production, rehearsal, and for god sake PLEASE STOP singing over those studio vocals it’s not a live show at that point. Can someone have @icespice manager get at me, this girl got 5 minutes left, and y’all gone blow it!!!”

For those unaware, Betty Boop is an iconic animated character dating created in the 1930s “as an archetype of Jazz Age culture,” according to Smithsonian Magazine. As seen on the official Betty Boop Instagram page, Jasmine Amy Rogers is set to star as Betty Boop in Boop! The Betty Boop Musical on Broadway at CIBC Theatre in Chicago from November 19 to December 24. Let’s all let ourselves imagine a scenario in which Ice Spice serves as Rogers’ standby.

Lil Nas X Pulled Some Strings And Got Himself A Used Tampon Costume For Halloween

Lil Nas X is easily one of the funniest people in music. So, when an occasion like Halloween comes around, an opportunity to come through with something comedic to show the world, all eyes are on him. Boy, did he deliver this year.

The rapper unveiled his costume in a video shared last night, and it starts out with a shot of a string hanging out of an opening that looks suspiciously like some female anatomy. Those suspicions are confirmed when the camera pans over to Nas, who drags the string as he walks away wearing a costume that can’t really be interpreted as anything other than a used tampon.

Meanwhile, Lil Nas X has been relatively quiet in 2023. In February, though, he offered some updates about his next album. As far as its release date, he said it would be “most likely summer,” but this summer came and went without a new Lil Nas X album. He also noted when asked how many songs he’s expecting to include on the project, “idk i love so many songs plus i’m still in the studio making music so it’s gone be hard to pick.” He elaborated, “it’s mostly planning now. i could easily just release music but i have to build moments around this sh*t. i have to go bigger than before!”

Why Was Diddy’s The Joker Halloween Costume Reportedly Banned?

Diddy had the internet talking last Halloween with his spot-on Joker costume, which pulled inspiration from Heath Ledger’s version in The Dark Knight. However, when the mogul and musician sat down with Jimmy Kimmel recently, he revealed that not everyone might have been pleased by it.

“Last year, I was the Joker, and I actually got a letter from the studio that I can no longer be the Joker,” Diddy shared.

“They said it broke their trademark, that I did it too good,” he added. “I swear I have this letter. I swear to God. From Warner Bros.”

In the segment, Kimmel then encourages Diddy to wear the same costume again for Halloween — especially since the interview was done on October 30, and he wasn’t sure what to wear.

“So tomorrow… Warner Bros. lawyers, can you see me?” Diddy proceeded to joke. “Put this camera on right here. The head of legal: Tomorrow, watch what I do.”

Over on Instagram, Diddy then made a post, where he seemed to be holding the legal papers he received as proof. “I don’t know what I’m gonna be this year, but I will say, to the motherf*ckers who took all this time,” he said in the video. “This six full papers.”

Then, in a hilarious move, if he was actually threatened with legal action, Diddy isn’t scared — because he dressed up as Batman from the same movie this year.

Check out Diddy’s Halloween costume below.

Diddy Was Apparently Banned From Being The Joker For Halloween, But His High-Effort Costume For 2023 Is The Perfect Revenge

Last Halloween, Diddy had easily one of the year’s best costumes with his phenomenally executed Joker look. It appears Warner Bros. didn’t like that and actually forbade Diddy from wearing the costume again, but he still managed to stick it to the studio this year.

Diddy was a Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest on October 30 and at the end of the conversation, when the host asked what he was planning to be for Halloween this year, the rapper responded, “Last year, I was the Joker, and I actually got a letter from the studio that I can no longer be the Joker.” Kimmel asked why and Diddy continued, “They said it broke their trademark, that I did it too good. I swear I have this letter. I swear to God. From Warner Bros.”

Kimmel, forever stirring the pot, responded, “Well do it again, then. Do it again!” Diddy leaned into it, declaring, “So tomorrow… Warner Bros. lawyers, can you see me? Put this camera on right here. The head of legal: Tomorrow, watch what I do.”

After the show, Diddy took to Instagram to expand on the story, holding the papers he supposedly received from Warner Bros. “I don’t know what I’m going to be this year,” he said, later adding, “You win, I’m not going to be the Joker this year.” At the end, though, the video teased, “Stay tuned.”

Now, this morning, Diddy made his grand reveal. True to his word, he didn’t dress up as the Joker, but he kept his costume in the same universe, sharing a scripted, high-production-level video of himself as, who else, Batman (“The Darkest Knight,” as he called his version). In the video, Diddy’s Batman confronts a studio executive in his office and demands they end the ongoing actors strike.

In conclusion, Diddy has mastered the art of malicious compliance.

Ciara Recreates Iconic Nicki Minaj Look For Halloween

Halloween is that time of the year when celebrities pull out all the stops to showcase their creativity in the realm of costumes. This year, Ciara, the multi-talented artist known for her music and dance moves, stole the spotlight with her impeccable portrayal of Nicki Minaj in the “Y.U. Mad” video. The “Y.U. Mad” video, featuring Nicki Minaj, was a sensation when it was released, with its bold fashion choices and catchy beats. Ciara decided to pay homage to the iconic rapper by recreating one of her most memorable looks from the video. Ciara donned a costume that mirrored Nicki’s outfit in the video, complete with camo pants, a white tank top, a vibrant pink furry hat, panda slippers, and, to top it all off, a set of blonde locs with the tips dyed a striking shade of pink.

Overall, it looked just like Nicki! The attention to detail in Ciara’s costume was nothing short of impressive. The camo pants and white tank top were spot-on, capturing the essence of Nicki’s signature style. The pink furry hat, a hallmark of the video, added a playful and eye-catching element to the ensemble. The hat was actually worn by Lil Wayne in the video, but nonetheless it got the point across. But the real showstopper was Ciara’s choice of footwear – panda slippers that brought a humorous and endearing twist to the outfit. Ciara is currently pregnant with her fourth child, so comfort was essential here.

It is not breaking news that Ice Spice is taking over hip-hop. Whether it be with her fashion choices, her music, or anything on social media, she is a hot commodity right now. She recently made headlines for the wrong reasons in some people’s eyes. It seems every Halloween the costumes for women continue to be more and more revealing. Chlöe Got In An Early Halloween Photoshoot With A Sexy, ‘Game Of Thrones’-Inspired Costume

Forget Christmas creep; every year, it seems like our favorite stars race to post their pop culture-referencing Halloween costumes in increasingly elaborate photoshoots earlier and earlier in the year. Chloe Bailey is one of the biggest perpetrators, posting a VFX-laden photo of herself as Storm a few days before the official festivities.

This year, she’s getting in on the action even earlier with a photoshoot inspired by Game Of Thrones villain Daenerys I Targaryen (she’s got a thing for silver wigs, huh). While I can’t say I remember ever seeing the Khaleesi rocking chrome bikini armor, I doubt anyone but the most pedantic geeks are complaining (and this is exactly why y’all are stuck on those incel forums, guys).

Of course, Ms. Bailey is herself no stranger to revealing metallic swimwear. Earlier this year, she turned heads with her booty-baring Carnival costume, while her festive Valentine’s Day shoot floored fans in February. I’m sure Chlöe’s fans can’t wait for Christmas.

Meanwhile, when it comes to pushing the boundaries of spooky season, she’s got a ways to go to keep up with the reigning co-queens of Halloween, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion. Doja straight up posted her pumpkins in September last year, as did Meg. We’ll see who takes the crown this year closer to the holiday, probably, but Chlöe’s already setting the pace.
