GloRilla And T-Pain Recount A Whirlwind Romance In Their Sweet ‘I Luv Her’ Video

GloRilla’s debut album, Glorious, is out now, and after supporting it with boisterous singles like “Hollon,” “Whatchu Kno About Me” with Sexyy Red, and “How I Look” with Megan Thee Stallion, Glo slows it down in her latest video for “I Luv Her” featuring T-Pain. The video also provides the long-awaited explanation of those fake baby bump photos from a few weeks ago with BMF actor Da’Vinchi.

In fact, the video opens with a pregnant GloRilla going into labor as her supportive man — played by Da’Vinchi, naturally — calls a ride to the hospital. Then, things flash back to their first meeting at a strip mall where Glo was apparently feeling a late-night hankering for some Chinese takeout from Wingnuts & Chopsticks in Atlanta. After exchanging numbers, their whirlwind romance proceeds takes off, as GloRilla narrates through the lyrics of the song and T-Pain sings the heartwarming hook.

Glo’s had a standout 2024, releasing not just one, but two projects; before she released Glorious, her mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang was a fan favorite, generating hits like “Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion and “Yeah Glo!.” Meanwhile, if rumors of a joint album between Glo and Meg turn out to be true, their 2025 could be equally monumental. In the meantime, you can watch Glo’s “I Luv Her” video above.

Glorious is out now via CMG/Interscope. Find more information here.

Today, GRAMMY-nominated recording artist and CMG signee GloRilla released her new video for “I LUV HER” featuring T-Pain. Directed by Benny Boom, GloRilla meets the love of her life in actor Da’Vinchi (known for his roles in All American & BMF) in an alternate universe, where the two become inseparable.

From dinner dates to having a baby, Glo and Da’Vinchi become the power couple they’ve always envisioned they could be. Unfortunately, for them both, it was merely a figment of their imagination, leaving both to ponder the potential possibilities. “I LUV HER” resides on Glo’s debut album GLORIOUS, which remains a strong player on the Billboard 200 after debuting at No. 5 during its opening week in October.

The new visual comes after GloRilla landed two Grammy nominations for her double platinum single “Yeah Glo!” in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories, solidifying her stellar run this year. Most recently, she also earned the second Billboard Hot 100 top 10 song of her career as a feature on Tyler, The Creator’s “Sticky.”

Under the tutelage of CMG founder and CEO Yo Gotti, Big Glo continues to be a force in hip-hop after the release of her debut album, GLORIOUS. The star-studded album includes features from Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Sexyy Red, Kirk Franklin, Bossman Dlo, Fridayy, T-Pain, Muni Long, Kierra Sheard, Maverick City Music, and Chandler Moore.

GloRilla Finally Reveals Her Rumored Pregnancy… For A T-Pain-Assisted “I LUV HER” Music Video

GloRilla recently released her new album GLORIOUS and engaged with a fresh new social media narrative because of it: is she pregnant? She spoke on the topic through various songs from the project, and also debuted some baby bump pictures with actor Da’Vinchi that sent fans plenty of conflicting signals. Still, a lot of fans knew what was coming: a music video was bound to show up any day now to explain why the Memphis femcee leaned into this so hard. Sure enough, we just got the new “I LUV HER” visuals with T-Pain, which shows Glo and Vinchi in a wholesome relationships that ends in marriage and a pregnancy. She may have fooled some fans, but others saw it coming from a mile away.

Regardless of whether you believed these rumors or not, the music video for “I LUV HER” is still very well-made and adorable, and a neat little narrative twist also leaves you pretty satisfied by the end. Elsewhere, GloRilla is still debating her physical transformations online, but in ways that don’t relate to a fake baby bump. Instead, it’s about fans wondering whether or not she got a BBL, rumors that she clapped back at with hilarious force.

Still, other GloRilla statements – particularly about relationship topics – have some fans thinking that the narrative in the “I LUV HER” music video might become reality soon if she gets her way. “Single & celibate until God send me my husband,” she expressed on Twitter recently, which started a debate around what that word really means. Regardless, it does suggest that the 25-year-old would rather hunker down on a relationship right now than mess around. Maybe she’s just trying to manifest with this new visual treatment.

In other GloRilla news, she recently got a few Grammy nominations for the 2025 awards show, which she expressed a lot of gratitude for. If she keeps her run up with more drops and music videos like these, then we can expect many more nods to come in the future. At least fans can put these pregnancy rumors to rest and be more aware of the signs once the next artist pulls a stunt like this.

GloRilla Ruthlessly Clowns Fan Who Predicts She Will Get BBL Surgery

GloRilla is ready for the smoke. The rapper has no problem mocking fans who make inconsiderate comments online. She proved it on November 13. GloRilla posted a video of herself working out, and followers flocked to the comment section to praise the rapper’s work ethic. One fan, however, took a different approach. They suggested that GloRilla is gearing up to get a BBL surgery, and the rapper clapped back with a hilarious response.

“Yeah, she bouta pop out with a bbl,” the fan tweeted out. GloRilla then quote tweeted the fan and raised a few questions about how she would do that. “B*tch where exactly ima get da fat from,” she asked. “My a*s to put it back in my a*s?” GloRilla has been open about her figure, and the importance that she puts on staying fit. It’s one of the main reasons she doesn’t want to get pregnant. She told Charlamagne tha God that would prefer to have kids via surrogate so that she could maintain her grueling physical routine. “I just don’t want to actually have a baby,” she explained. “All my friends have kids, and they’re restricted a lot when they’re pregnant. I’m like, ‘Nah, I don’t want to go through that.’”

GloRilla Has Repeatedly Dealt With BBL Rumors

GloRilla’s appearance was also the subject of intense speculation in October. The rapper posted a photo of herself sporting a baby bump, which absolutely blew the minds of fans. Some were perplexed that she would have a child after claiming she didn’t want to. Others were confused as to how she promoted her new album while concealing said pregnancy. In the end, the whole thing proved to be trolling. GloRilla is not pregnant, and won’t be anytime soon, if her statement is to be taken as gospel.

GloRilla’s back-and-forth with a fan was not the first time she’s had to contend with BBL rumors. A few days earlier, the rapper took to Twitter and wrote: “Everybody thought I had a bbl last night.” This is very much a recurring point of discussion for the rapper. Based on what she had to say about it, though, it doesn’t seem like something that GloRilla is going to be getting done anytime soon.

GloRilla’s Tweet About Wanting To Be “Single & Celibate” Generates Mixed Reactions

GloRilla is back at it again with another post about dating and everything that comes with it. According to AllHipHop, the Memphis rap superstar sent out a tweet on X regarding waiting for the perfect guy to come along. Single & celibate until God send me my husband🤗🫶,” she said on the platform. The celibacy journey is something that she’s been talking about. At the top of the year, one of her goals for the year was to go without having any sexual activity for 90 days. It even became a topic of conversation with Complex‘s own Speedy Morman. However, around Halloween, she sent her fans and the internet into a frenzy over some pictures on Instagram.

It was her wearing what is now known to be a fake baby bump. People were especially shocked due to her previous feelings she shared with Charlamagne Tha God about having kids. Big Glo did try to keep the act going by denying that she wasn’t faking her pregnancy. However, it was eventually all put to rest fairly quickly. All of these past posts are why this tweet is maintaining some traction right now. Additionally, though, it’s because some have a major problem with her using “celibate.”

Usually, when someone is celibate, it means that they have never had sex of any kind and never will. It also means not having a relationship of any kind either. It may be a nitpick to some, but quite a few people are taking issue with it. One X user replies, “Women will post this while still getting head in the regular.” Another adds, “You not celibate🤦‍♂️stop using the word wrong.”

However, GloRilla’s fans were more supportive of her decision to wait for the right guy. “Single, celibate, and trusting God’s timing. When it’s meant to be, it’ll be.” “Same. It’s the best way to be. Sooo many diseases out here.” You can say what you want about the wording, but we are happy to see the femcee finding love on her own terms.

GloRilla Responds After Being Accused Of Getting A BBL

GloRilla is never shy about sharing her physical transformations and body developments, such as showing off her natural hair on social media recently. But some statements and accusations fall under more scrutiny from fans, and it’s this case, it’s not for the reasons you might expect. Moreover, she recently posted a picture of her outfit on a night out on Twitter and captioned it with the following claim: “Everybody thought I had a bbl last night [three facepalm emojis].” However, some fans in the comments section under the Instagram post below posited that these BBL rumors were never that strong to begin with, whereas others think that the Memphis femcee absolutely got body modifications.

Regardless of what the truth is, it’s clear that these allegations are more relevant or pushed in the narratives by people who fit with a certain body standard and image, not someone as thin as GloRilla. This carries its own set of issues that warrant a conversation, but this writer is not the one who should be leading those. Nevertheless, it certainly wouldn’t be the most talked-about Glo topic this year when it comes to her physique. She recently fueled pregnancy rumors with some baby bump pictures, although many fans suspect that this is just not-so-subtle social media promotion or something like that.

GloRilla Addresses BBL Rumors

In fact, this pregnancy allegation is something that GloRilla’s even talked about in her music, seemingly referring to an abortion on her debut studio album GLORIOUS. As such, there are a few mixed signals and possible interpretations here that fans took more seriously than even she might have expected. Alas, we still don’t have a super concrete answer for any of this (as obvious as the rumors’ misdirection may be), so we’ll see if the near future holds any more answers.

Meanwhile, GloRilla was one of many hip-hop artists who got a Grammy nomination this year, and she was very excited to hear about it. “S/O to God my team & y’all. not to be cocky but shiiidddd S/O to MEEEE!! 3x Grammy nominated artist thank yall so much,” she tweeted. We’ll see how the awards shape up soon enough!

GloRilla Looks Almost Unrecognizable While Showing Off Her Natural Hair Growth

GloRilla stole a whole lot of rap fans’ hearts in 2024, if she hadn’t already stolen them from her breakout 2022. As such, fans are always interested to hear what she has to say about her everyday life, especially when it comes to relatable and culturally significant matters such as Black hair. Recently, the “Sticky” femcee took to Instagram to share a picture of her natural hair, along with some insightful comments that caused discussion and community among her fans. “I’m so tender headed I keep my braids up fa a whole 4 months before I get em redid [crying emoji],” she captioned the new photos. “at least my hair growing.”

However, GloRilla now has some other issues to deal with beyond her hair growth, and so do various other of her rap peers. Plies recently launched a lawsuit against her, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy for alleged copyright infringement, claiming that they used his “Me & My Goons” instrumental without proper permission. The tracks in question include Glo, Meg, and Cardi’s “Wanna Be,” plus Soulja’s “Pretty Boy Swag.”

GloRilla’s Natural Hair

Elsewhere, other GloRilla connections to her fanbase didn’t land as universally as these pics of her natural hair, especially when it comes to the United States election. Following Donald Trump’s victorious campaign to be the nation’s president, she made (and then deleted) a joke about birth control reacting to this news. “I been got on birth control anyway,” the Memphis lyricist shared and then rescinded. She previously endorsed Kamala Harris for U.S. president, even performing at her Milwaukee rally recently. There are a lot of other divisive and strong reactions to this political development, but for some folks, it’s still too soon to make light of other issues or even speak on them casually.

But one division that GloRilla wants to combat is her previous and brief beef with former City Girl JT, something that she attributed solely to fanbase bickering during a recent interview. She maintained that they’re actually cool, and that the fans just went too far with their debates. There are plenty of other chances for unity, even through something as seemingly innocuous as hair.

Plies’ Lawyer Denies Claim That New Lawsuit Is Targeting Black Women

Plies isn’t playing around. The rapper decided to sue a host of superstars on November 6 on the grounds that they unlawfully sampled one of his songs. The superstars named in the copyright infringement suit include Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla and Soulja Boy. Most of the talk surrounding the suit, however, has revolved around Megan and GloRilla. Fans of both artists have flocked to IG comment sections to deride Plies for his perceived attack towards Black women. The backlash has been so severe, in fact, that the rapper’s lawyer has issued a statement.

Aaron J. Thornton assured the public that his client, Plies, has no vendetta against Megan Thee Stallion or GloRilla. He actually wants the labels to pay out, given what he believes is a lack of proper procedure. “This lawsuit isn’t a strategically timed attack against Black women,” Thornton wrote. “Plies has said a lot of meaningful and important things in support of Black women.” The lawyer that posited that the rapper is wanting to be properly compensated by the powers that be. Not the artists who paid tribute to him by allegedly sampling his work.

Plies Claims To Be Fans Of Both Megan And GloRilla

“This is a lawsuit where the first name up who has the actual pockets here is Universal Music Group,” Thornton asserted. “My communication is directed to the record labels, the people who actually own the music.” The lawyer went on to assure fans that Plies has the utmost respect for Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla as artists. “The artists are wonderful artists,” he concluded. “This isn’t an attack on any of these artists.” The lawsuit may have been recently filed, but Plies has already gotten pushback from Megan’s producer, LilJuMadeDaBeat.

Lil Ju made the beat for “Wanna Be,” and he claimed that he actually sampled a Soulja Boy song. “‘My Dougie’ came it in 2006, ‘Me & My Goons’ came in in 2008,” the producer tweeted. “Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ credited on ‘Wanna Be.’” LilJuMadeDaBeat’s claim regarding the release dates of these respective songs does call into question the validity of Plies’ claim. The rapper has yet to respond to Lil Ju, however.

Plies Is Reportedly Suing Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, And GloRilla For Alleged Copyright Infringement

Lawsuits pop up just about every day in the music world, it seems, and now “Hawk Tuah” rapper Plies has added to the pile: TMZ reports Plies is suing Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, and Soulja Boy, naming them in a lawsuit that alleges copyright infringement.

Per legal documents obtained by TMZ, Plies alleges elements of his 2008 song “Me & My Goons” were used in Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag,” as well as GloRilla and Megan’s “Wanna Be” (and the Cardi-featuring remix). Named as defendants in the suit are Megan’s Hot Girl Productions, Soulja’s former imprint Collipark Productions, Universal Music Group, Collective Music Group, and Interscope.

“Wanna Be” producer LilJuMadeDaBeat has since chimed in on the lawsuit. His position, as HotNewHipHop notes, is that “Wanna Be” credits its sample to Big E, producer of 2006’s “My Dougie.” He explained, “My Dougie came it in 2006, Me & My Goons came it in 2008. Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ is credited on Wanna B. For the Record Pretty Boy Swag is a remake of My Dougie as well. Soulja Boy is on the My Dougie Remix. Me & My Goons literally not even the single for that Plies album.”

So far, nobody else has publicly acknowledged the lawsuit.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Producer Claps Back At Plies Copyright Lawsuit

The world may be processing the U.S. election, but Plies is filing lawsuits. The veteran rapper made waves on November 6 when he sued Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla and Soulja Boy. He alleged that the artists stole elements of his 2008 song “Me & My Goons” without clearing it with him. Plies is seeking damages for this alleged copyright infringement, which also names Megan Thee Stallion’s label Hot Girl Productions and Soulja’s Collipark Productions. Now, however, Megan’s producer is firing back at the rapper.

LilJuMadeDaBeat, the producer behind the Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla song at the heart of the lawsuit, took to social media on Wednesday night. He claimed that “Wanna Be,” the song in question, properly credits its sample to Big E. Lil Ju noted that Plies’ song came out in 2008, while “My Dougie,” the Soulja Boy song also named in the suit, came out in 2006. The producer claims that the original of the song elements is actually Big E, the man who produced Soulja’s single. “‘My Dougie’ came it in 2006, ‘Me & My Goons’ came in in 2008,” he tweeted. “Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ credited on ‘Wanna Be.’”

Lil Ju took things a step further by poking additional holes in Plies’ lawsuit. Megan Thee Stallion’s producer noted that Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” is also a remake of “My Dougie.” He also claimed the Plies song in question doesn’t even derive from the album Plies said it did. “‘Me & My Goons literally not even the single from that Plies album,” he posited. The producer raises some compelling points, in so much as Plies couldn’t sue Soulja Boy if Soulja’s song came out before his. Furthermore, Lil Ju appears to be confident that he covered his bases in terms of his own sample credits.

It makes sense that Plies would want a chunk of “Wanna Be,” however. The single was everywhere when it dropped in April. It peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it GloRilla’s biggest single as a lead artist to date. It also proved to be another smash for Megan Thee Stallion after “HISS” topped the charts in January. The song even received a remix featuring Cardi B.
