Fabolous Seemingly Addresses Taina Williams’ Absent Father Accusations In New Freestyle

Back in October of last year, Fabolous shared a heartfelt post in honor of his daughter Journey’s birthday, but his stepdaughter Taina Williams wasn’t buying it. “I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been,” he wrote. “Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end. I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY. You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love. Your life assures it will all add up… 10 • 10 • 2020. Happy Bday Journey Jackson.”

Williams took to his comments section to call him out, accusing the hitmaker of being an absent father. “This post is hilarious,” she commented alongside laughing emojis. “‘Might not know when you going thru it , but you’ll get it at the end’ Is Translation for = I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well being because IDC & Im bitter & I’m only a father to my two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. Stop playing with the internet.”

Fabolous Unleashes “Selfish Freestyle”

Now, he’s seemingly responded to her comments in his new “Selfish Freestyle.” In the track, which he unleashed earlier this week, he appears to claim that he’s been there for Williams and her mother since she was a child. “Selfishness will make someone comment under your pic / When he took care of you and your momma since you were 6 / Who’s selfish?” he spits. Williams has yet to respond publicly to the apparent jab.

Commenters are debating in his comments section whether the apparent diss was warranted or if he crossed the line. What do you think of Fabolous seemingly throwing shade at his stepdaughter Taina Williams in his new freestyle? How do you like the track so far? What about her previously accusing him of being an absent father? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Pooh Shiesty’s “Federal Contraband 2” Follows His Iconic 2021 Single

It’s Shiesty season! Even as he celebrates another Christmas behind bars, 24-year-old Pooh Shiesty is making his presence felt. Following his 2021 single, “Federal Contraband,” the lyricist returned last week with the song’s sequel. It consists of over seven minutes of bars from the Memphis-born performer as he reflects on life in prison, among other things over production from TP808.

“Yeah, man, you know I do too motherf**kin’ much, I’m Mr. Go Too Far / They might try to come and supersede me after all this shit I’m talkin’, you know I’m federal property now,” Shiesty tells listeners on the intro. As his first verse begins, the “Shoud’ve Ducked” artist gets candid about strained relationships with loved ones. “Losin’ relations with my family, it’s been six months since I called / It’s part of what I signed up for, I’m mentally built for it all,” he spits, taking pride in his strength.

Fabolous Raps About His Experience In Tulum With “Tuluminati” As Part Of The Freestyle Friday Series

The latter part of 2023 has been heavy on the freestyling. Over the past couple of months, we have seen various legends and new stars flex their lyrical prowess over other artists’ beats. For example, Drake put everyone up to the challenge to spit on top of the instrumentals for his For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition. An EP was put out in late November of strictly the beats of the six additional tracks. A couple of rappers accepted the challenge, including Fabolous.

One of New York’s finest talents took Drake’s comments to heart by laying down bars on top of “Evil Ways.” Since that time, Fabolous has seemingly been inspired by that as he has begun his freestyle abilities to the test in a different way. Last week, Fab kickstarted a series where every Friday he would drop a new freestyle. “Benzgiving” was the first to hit the market and its racked up nearly one million views.

Listen To “Tuluminati” By Fabolous

According to HipHopDX, Fabolous recently took a trip to the small town of Tulum, which is located in southern Mexico. The hitmaker posted about his visit on Instagram, which turned out to be for a celebration of his birthday. It is where he also posted the music video for the freestyle, inspired by his stay. “Tuluminati” is on YouTube as well.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single and freestyle, “Tuluminati,” by Fabolous? Is this the best song from this series he is doing so far, why or why not? Where do you rank him amongst the rest of the New York rappers of all time? Should he release all of the freestyles he does and put them on an album? Nicki Minaj Prompts Stephen Colbert With A Rap Battle And Ends Up Stunned By His Response

In the wake of the release of her new album Pink Friday 2, Nicki Minaj is doing plenty of interviews and making the rounds discussing and performing material from the project. That included an appearance on The Late Show alongside host Stephen Colbert. The pair have crossed paths in the past and spawned funny results so it’s no surprise that they’re once again going viral. This time, she tries to queue him into a freestyle and ends up stunned by what he delivers.

In her freestyle, Nicki flirts with Stephen a bit cracking a joke about how she could marry him. But the married host is prepared, delivering a bar right back at her that leaves Nicki’s jaw dropped. In the comments of the video, fans hype up Colbert for his response. “his wife home like ‘yea that’s what I thought’” one of the top comments reads. “This how I need my man. OFF LIMITS,” and “Steven said you know who won’t be on the couch tonight?! ME!” two others read. Check out the hilarious clip from last night’s show below.

Given the hype for Pink Friday 2 leading up to the album, it’s no surprise that the record has performed so well commercially. It shot to the very top of the Billboard 200 in its first week. But it didn’t just debut at the top spot, it absolutely lapped the competition. The album debuted with over 200k sales in its first week putting it among the 10 biggest first week sales totals of the year.

14 songs from the album also made their way into the Hot 100 this week. Three of them, including “Everybody” with Lil Uzi Vert and “Needle” with Drake landed inside the top 50. That’s particularly impressive for this time of year when the majority of the top 50 on the chart is occupied by Christmas songs. Nicki also scored her first-ever chart-topper on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. She collaborated with gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard on the track “Blessings” which sits atop the chart this week. What do you think of Stephen Colbert’s response to Nicki Minaj’s freestyle prompt? Let us know in the comment section below.

VIC MENSA Destroys His “On The Radar” Freestyle Appearance: Watch

Hip-hop’s output this year has been one of the more questionable runs in recent memory. That is not to say that nothing exciting has happened. A fair amount of mainstream artists have dropped albums. However, not all of them have been universally well-regarded. It seems the opposite can be said about Chicago’s own, VIC MENSA. The 30-year-old artist also reentered the fray back in the middle of September. He did so with his self-titled sophomore LP, Victor. Overall, critics and fans have been sharing similar thoughts on the veteran’s release.

On top of that, VIC continues to be heavily involved in the freestyle space. This year alone, he has dropped some serious heat for L.A. Leakers and On The Radar Radio. His first appearance with the latter in 2023 was about three months ago. Recently, VIC came back for more, this time in collaboration with Lyrical Lemonade.

VIC MENSA Murks The Beat

On this one, MENSA goes in on a smooth boom-bap-like beat. The instrumentation has a jazzy element too and he just goes off on it. He switches his flows quite frequently on it, adding to the dynamic aspect. It is time more and more people put respect on his off-the-dome abilities. VIC is definitely back.

What are your initial thoughts on VIC MENSA’s “On The Radar” Freestyle? Is this the best appearance for On The Radar this year, why or why not? Is he the most underrated artist from Chicago? Where does he rank amongst freestylers all time? Is Victor still in your rotation? If so which songs are still doing it for you? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around VIC MENSA. The Game Is “Proud” Jay-Z Dissed Him In Freestyle

During a recent interview with VladTV, The Game spoke about dissing other rappers in his music. DJ Vlad asked him about his The Documentary track “Westside Story,” which was rumored to contain shots at Jay-Z. He took the opportunity to clarify his line, “And I don’t do button-up shirts or drive Maybachs,” revealing that it was actually a dig at Ja Rule. He was working with 50 Cent at the time, who had beef with Ja Rule.

The Game later shared his thoughts on Jay-Z seemingly dissing him on his freestyle with Funk Flex. “If Jay-Z even says your name once,” he explained, “you should feel proud.” The Game went on, describing why getting called out by a major artist like Jay-Z is an honor. “You scratched the surface with one of the best hip-hop artists of our time,” he said. “I think he has a lot of respect for me, I definitely got a lot of respect for him.”

The Game On Jay-Z Dissing Him

“It was never really no malice, it was more a hip hop thing,” he continued. “He was the top dog and I tend to do that.” The Game then recalled dissing Eminem on his last album because of his falling out with Dr. Dre. “Dr. Dre can’t out-rap me, so I just went at Em,” he shared. “That’s just how I get sometimes, but it’s always competitive.”

He later discussed his response to Jay-Z on “My B*tch,” claiming that the Roc Nation founder “took all that sh*t to heart.” According to him, he’s not sure whether or not he’s been forgiven since, but assumes that all is well between them nowadays. “I just haven’t crossed paths with Hov in a minute,” he added. King Combs Seems To Address GDK Backlash In New Freestyle

King Combs is catching some significant heat online for trying to be a little too like his rap counterparts, it seems. Moreover, he mentioned alleged GDK affiliations in a recent video, to which Chicago drill rapper King Yella responded quite skeptically given his background. “So I look on the internet and I see Puff Daddy’s son come out saying GDK,” he expressed. “It’s not a good time when your dad has all these allegations… Why would you even try to involve yourself in anything GDK? Bro, why would you want to do drill music? You don’t come from the streets or come from none of that.

“You were born famous, not from the streets,” Yella continued. “Come from a rich daddy that’s fighting a bunch of sexual allegations and cr*zy stuff. And you want to come talking about GDK. Don’t let them GDs get with you, dude. Goofy.” “I ain’t affiliated w no gangs and I’m not a gang member!” King Combs responded to the whole ordeal on social media. Now, with his latest freestyle uploaded online, he let out a few bars that many believe address this King Yella situation. “Better have bread if you beefing with me, it’s a whole ‘other league, I ain’t worried about opps,” the rapper expressed on the song.

Cause this gangbanging ish ish not where it’s at. We can switch spots if u want to.” “Aye Puffy’s son, I’m proud of you, man,” the MC said in an Instagram video. “I make n***as apologize and say they don’t gang bang. On a real note, you was born with a silver spoon. We could switch spots.

“If you wanna be a gang banger, let me be a millionaire, billionaire son,” he concluded. “I’ll take that. That’s whats wrong with the world now. N***as were born with money and wanna live the bad life. Growing up in poverty and coming from the struggle, we want the good life. I don’t wanna gang bang, I don’t wanna live like this.
