Hart has since catapulted to starring in movies, showcasing his ability to bring humor to any role he plays. His outstanding comedic timing, physical comedy, and extraordinary ability to poke fun at himself have made him a beloved figure with fans. This list highlights Hart’s 10 funniest acting roles.

# 10-Ace the Bat-Hound-DC League of Super-Pets (2022)

Ace and Batman League of Super-Pets

Kevin Hart voiced the character of Ace in League of Super-Pets. The animated movie features the pets of DC’s superheroes, including Hart’s character, Batman’s dog, and Superman’s dog Krypto voiced by Dwayne Johnson. Ace is a small, scrappy dog determined to prove himself to his superhero owners.

Hart’s performance is incredibly funny because he effortlessly brings his trademark energy and humor to the role. Hart’s voice acting brings a childlike quality to Ace and is a perfect fit for his comedic style. His ability to infuse the character with humor and heart makes him a standout character in the movie.

#9 Brian-Death at a Funeral (2007)

In the British dark comedy Death at a Funeral, Hart plays Brian, a neurotic man in love with another character’s cousin. Brian’s loud personality permeates every inch of every scene he’s in.

Hart’s genius facial expressions amplify the humor of each situation Brian encounters. Brian’s obsession with a hallucinogenic drug creates one of the most humorous scenes. As he tries to navigate the funeral while entirely out of his mind, the audience is left in stitches.

As Brian’s drug-induced trip intensifies, his already high-pitched voice becomes even more exaggerated. He unleashes an unforgettable monologue that is one of the funniest Kevin Hart moments ever.

#8 Jimmy Callahan-The Wedding Ringer (2015)

Hart as Jimmy Callahan

Hart plays Jimmy Callahan, a professional best man-for-hire in the movie The Wedding Ringer. Callahan helps socially awkward grooms create the illusion of having a group of loyal friends.

Hart is hilarious, delivering wit and energy, hilarious one-liners, and physical comedy that perfectly balance the character’s confidence and vulnerability. One amazing scene is when Jimmy teaches the groom how to do a choreographed dance routine to surprise the bride.

However, their performance goes ridiculously awry as they struggle to keep up with the dance moves. Jimmy saves the day by jumping in and leading the dance. He delivers some unbelievably witty lines as he shows off his exceptional dance moves. This includes a not-to-be-missed impression of Michael Jackson’s moonwalk.

#7 Bernie-About Last Night (2014)

In the movie About Last Night, Hart plays Bernie Litgo, the best friend of Danny Martin, played by Michael Ealy. Bernie is a loud, brash, and unapologetic character who is always ready with a wisecrack or a raunchy joke.

Hart delivers some of the funniest rapid-fire one-liners and clever quips of his acting career in this movie. His interactions with the other characters, especially Joan, played by Regina Hall, generate many of the most amusing moments in the film.

In one scene, Bernie attempts to give Joan some dating advice but ends up making a fool of himself. Hart’s physical comedy in this scene is a doozy. He flails around and makes over-the-top gestures while attempting to prove his point.

#6 Snowball-The Secret Life of Pets (2016)

Another hilarious animated standout performance for Hart is in The Secret Life of Pets. Hart voices the character of Snowball, a cute but psychotic bunny who is the leader of a group of abandoned pets living in New York City’s sewers.

Hart brings a manic energy to the role, delivering his lines with a mix of humor and intensity. This performance perfectly captures Snowball’s unhinged personality. Kevin Hart’s ability to use different inflections gives Snowball a distinctive tone, making his lines even funnier.

Hart’s ability to inject humor into every line of dialogue for Snowball makes his performance a masterclass in animated comedy.

#5 Darnell Lewis-Get Hard (2015)

Hart as Darnell Lewis in Get Hard

Starring Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, Get Hard is a comedy about a wealthy but clueless investment banker James King played by Ferrell, who enlists the help of a car wash attendant, Darnell Lewis, played by Hart, to prepare him for a stint in prison after he is wrongfully convicted of fraud.

Hart’s performance as Darnell is so funny because he plays against type. Hart’s facial expressions and over-the-top reactions to the outrageous moments in the film add an extra layer of humor to the already absurd situations.

Plus, his exchanges with Ferrell’s character create hilarious moments as both have a strong background in standup comedy. Additionally, Hart’s capacity to improvise and ad-lib lines on the spot adds to the comedic punch of the film.

#4 Calvin Joyner-Central Intelligence (2016)

Hart as Calvin Joyner in Central Intelligence

Hart plays Calvin Joyner, a mild-mannered accountant caught up in a dangerous CIA mission with his former high school classmate, Bob Stone, played by Dwayne Johnson in the movie Central Intelligence.

This role is hilarious because Hart plays the straight man to Johnson’s over-the-top character, reacting with humor and disbelief to the crazy situations they find themselves in. Hart’s physical comedy is also on point in the movie, with his character getting thrown around in wild action scenes.

In one terrific scene, Calvin attempts to jump through a window but fails miserably, resulting in a hilarious and shocking outcome. Hart’s innate timing, sarcastic remarks, and self-deprecating humor add so much to the film’s comedy.

#3 Franklin “Mouse” Finbar-Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

The movie Jumani features Kevin Hart as Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, a former high school football player who finds himself transported into the body of a short zoologist in the dangerous jungle-themed game world of Jumanji.

In contrast to his usual confident, quick-witted persona, Hart’s character Mouse is nervous and easily flustered. Hart pulls this off spectacularly. His interactions with the other characters, especially Dwayne Johnson’s character, create unforgettable, hilarious moments.

Hart and Johnson’s interactions throughout the movie are priceless.

#2 Teddy Walker-Night School (2018)

Hart as Teddy Walker in Night School

Hart and Tiffany Haddish star in the movie Night School. It is a comedy about a group of adults who return to high school to earn their GEDs. Hart plays Teddy Walker, a high school dropout who is also a bit of a con artist who tries to cheat his way through school and avoid studying, which creates some fabulous comedic moments.

One great example is when Teddy attempts to use a hidden earpiece during a test but accidentally tunes in to a love radio station. As he tries to focus on the test questions, he begins repeating the radio host’s romantic phrases out loud, much to his classmates’ confusion and his teacher’s frustration (played by Haddish).

Hart makes this character both lovable and hilarious. He is high-energy, with rapid-fire wit constantly being delivered. He carries the movie with his incredible comedic timing and natural charisma.

#1 Nashawn Wade-Soul Plane (2004)

Soul Plane is about Nashawn Wade, played by Hart, a passenger who wins a lawsuit against an airline and uses the money to start his own airline called NWA (Nashawn Wade Airlines). Additionally, the movie features an all-star cast, including Method Man and Snoop Dogg.

While the movie is packed from start to finish with hilarity, one of the funniest scenes is when he accidentally ingests some marijuana brownies and hallucinates that he is speaking with the plane’s captain, played by Snoop Dogg. While another features Nashawn and a malfunctioning bathroom on the airplane. When he tries to fix the toilet, it results in a series of equally cringe-worthy and side-splittingly funny incidents.

Kevin Hart employs his amazing talent to use body language and facial expressions for emphasis, fast-paced and lively delivery, and nuance and wit to bring both vulnerability and strength to the character.

Is Kodak Black On His Way To Jail…Again?

Kodak Black has had a share of his challenges throughout his career. He has found himself behind bars multiple times. And it looks like he may be at it again. We hope not as we never want to see a young superstar like Yak put his life in jeopardy.

We are rooting for the Kutthroat Bill rapper to turn his life around. He has a family, is a leader in his community, and has a tremendous influence in Hip Hop today. Will Kodak Black go back to prison? Here’s a few reasons why he may escape jail time.

Drug Rehab

Last week, Kodak Black was ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation program after fentanyl was found in his system.  Although he was able to attend Rolling Loud in Los Angeles, this past weekend, the “Super Gremlin” rapper reported to rehab on March 8th.  After missing a mandatory court-ordered drug test last month, Broward County Judge Barbara Duffy issued a warrant for Kodak’s arrest.

The Florida rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, believes the urine test of his client was a false positive.  Throughout his relationship with Kodak, Cohen says he has never tested positive for fentanyl and has already gone through treatment for similar issues in the past.  Cohen also suggests that a lab employee could’ve made an error while handling his client’s file because of his status.

In response to this, Judge Duffy opted for a hair sample from the “ZEZE” rapper, to which he declined.  This is when the Judge ordered him to attend an in-patient rehab facility, but Kodak didn’t seem to mind.  He had other things to worry about, like getting a jolly rancher before heading out.

If Kodak can successfully complete rehab, then surely Judge Duffy will notice his efforts and keep him out of jail.

Yak Needs This Team

Good thing, the 25-year-old rapper has good influences around him this time around.  During Kodak’s time at Rolling Loud, his team helped him stay clear of all drugs.  His team also wanted him to focus on his health over the weekend as a physician monitored his meals.  Staying clean and sober before rehab was the only goal for Yak and his team.  Also, to help him stay on the straight and narrow path, the court tagged the “Wake Up In The Sky” rapper with a GPS ankle monitor.  He wore the monitor while performing.

It was a successful performance for Yak, even though at one point a fan threw a water bottle at him.  If he can always keep this team around him, I don’t see Kodak going to jail.

Kodak is Too Busy For Jail

Yak has had his ups and downs thus far in his career.  The Back for Everything rapper is busy these days and that could be in his favor.  At Rolling Loud, he announced that he is opening his own chicken wing company.  Kodak calls it “Kodak’s Wings” and festival attendees were able to try some of his wings at the three day festival.  The official launch is set to be later this year.  “Kodak’s Wings” will serve dishes such as wing and fry combos and chicken tender baskets.

Not only does he have business ventures, but he also has to work.  With Yak behind bars, he will be missing out on shows as he was tapped for the Broccoli City Festival.  The D.C.-based event will be held from July 15-16.  We all know Kodak loves to perform for his fans after earlier this year when he missed a performance.  Video surfaced of him pleading with the venue to let him perform as he even offered to pay.

A few weeks ago, the “King Snipe” rapper revealed he is enrolled at Arizona State University.  After receiving his GED in jail, Yak wanted to continue his education.  Going to jail right now shouldn’t be in Kodak’s plans.

Uncle Trump Has His Back

If Kodak Black is on the verge of going to jail, I believe Donald Trump will help him out.  It seems like the two have a bit of respect for each other.  Before Trump’s presidency came to an end, he granted Kodak clemency, in which he was able to be released from prison.  The main reason the ex-President did this was because of Kodak’s donations to enrich the education sector in his community.

In celebration of his pardon, the Sniper Gang CEO had a ring made with the words “Trump Ties” on one side and the date he was pardoned on the other side.  Kodak calls him “Uncle Trump” now and even purchased a near $10,000 pendant of the former host of The Apprentice.  The pendant depicts the 45th President smoking weed while wearing his infamous red MAGA hat.  Yak remains connected to Trump as mentioned before, he is represented by Bradford Cohen.  Cohen is a friend and supporter of Trump appearing on The Apprentice in 2004.

Kodak makes sure he stays on Trump’s good side.  After Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, the 76 year old entrepreneur went to his own social platform, Truth Social, to say that it was the “worst half-time show in history”.  Black went to Instagram to post a video affirming Trump’s statements.  Fans weren’t too happy with him doing so, but the young man knows how to play his hand.

Let us know if you think Kodak Black will stay on the straight and narrow path after rehab in the comments.

Kendrick Lamar’s Albums, Ranked

Kendrick Lamar’s status as one of the greatest MCs of our time is undisputed. Growing up listening to West-Coast icons such as Snoop Dogg or 2Pac, he has solidified himself as an icon of our generation. The mastermind is more than just a musician. He architected the explosion of Top Dog Entertainment (TDE) as a minority owner, and has collaborated with a variety of film or clothing brands over the past five years.

Growing up in Compton, Lamar never subscribed to the traditional lifestyle of those around him. Achieving straight A’s in high school, his friends described him as a recluse that often spent time in alone. The creative icon clearly had a vision, one that began with a series of mixtapes which he began releasing at the age of 16. Signing with TDE at 17 years old, he was soon collaborating with fellow California MCs such as Jay Rock. Co-signed by Lil Wayne, he released debut ‘Kendrick Lamar EP’ in 2009. Lamar would jump leaps and bounds between every project, unwavering in his psychedelic blends of R&B and rap.

The Compton-born rapper would go on to release a number of Grammy-nominated classics, from the banger-heavy ‘Good Kid M.A.A.D City” to the socially conscious ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers.’ So, how do you organize his records into ranked list? It certainly wasn’t easy, and there isn’t one right answer. Similar to the likes of Tyler, the Creator or Kanye West, everyone is going to have a different opinion. However, we did our best to rank Kendrick Lamar’s albums from worst to best.

8. ‘The Kendrick Lamar EP’

Kendrick Lamar’s first official release, the self-titled EP is an engaging listen for fans who want to hear how his sound and lyricism has progressed over the years. Featuring fellow West-Coast MCs like Schoolboy Q and BJ The Chicago Kid, the timid personality is boastful on the mixtape. Referencing the Grammy’s multiple times, there was a clear path to fame that the 21-year old was pursuing.

However, it’s far more than a traditionally boastful or trap-inherent record. Surprisingly mature for his age, he has intricate takes on being raised in the violent streets of Compton. Talking about his Uncle Tony or his tumultuous home life, many of the topics referenced would be discussed in more detail on ‘Good Kidd Maad City.’ In addition, he doesn’t shy away from more melodic tracks that would be more fully-fledged out on ‘Section 80.’

Lamar isn’t commanding beats and switching up his flows like he would on future projects. However, his ambition is apparent and attractive as a listener. Straining for start to finish, it’s an admirable project that would set the groundwork for the remainder of his career. The record’s final track concludes with external voices saying “Who are you? What are you trying to say? What are you trying to accomplish?” These are all questions he’s still navigating, which explains the half-baked nature of the mixtape’s sound and lyricism.

7. ‘Overly Dedicated’

At 23 years old, ‘Overly Dedicated’ comes from a rapper who’s still trying to figure out his sound. Often impersonating the likes of Lil Wayne or Eminem, Lamar is still “in the dungeon” in terms of drilling his own voice. However, he’s taken noticeable leaps from his debut mixtape. Lamar doesn’t constantly sound out of breath or lagging on a beat. In addition, the record sees him dramatically grow from a songwriting perspective, which is especially noticeable on tracks such as “The Heart Pt. 2.”

More abstract than ever on the production end, the attempt, similar to his self-titled EP, is hit or miss. Jhene Aiko makes an appearance on the lead track, delivering fleeting background vocals amidst a lofi R&B beat. Again, Lamar recruits his fellow So-Cal MCs such as Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. All of it sounds more in control and calculated. Lamar doesn’t know where he’s going to end up, but he finally knows where he’s going. Darting from smooth melodies to aggressive verses, ‘Overly Dedicated’ represents a steadfast improvement from his messy mixtape.

6. ‘Untitled, Unmastered’

It’s not uncommon for hallmark artists to release mixtapes or projects that exclusively feature lost tracks. Of course, these projects are almost always met with lowered expectations. After all, these are songs that weren’t quality enough to make an official release. However, ‘Untitled, Unmastered’ is shockingly great. Is it messy and sloppy? Sure, but the ideas here make it a worthwhile listen for any Kendrick Lamar fan.

‘Untitled, Unmastered’ is just as much an intricate piece of commentary as it is a piece of music. Songs randomly depart into spoken-word sections, or off-kilter audio recordings. For example, ‘Untitled 07’ starts off as a grimy banger, featuring wonky synths as Lamar yells out “levitate!” The track then diverts into a recording session amongst Kendrick and his friends. What does it mean from a conceptual perspective? There’s plenty of loose-ends left up to the interpretation of the listener, which is a consistent theme throughout the record.

A collection of leftovers from the ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ recording sessions, the 34-minute record still demonstrates far more power and originality than his most early works. Lines such as “See I’m living with anxiety, duck at the sobriety” prove that ‘Untitled, Unmastered’ is still an engaging record from a storytelling perspective, even if it’s jaded.

5. ‘Section 80’

In many people’s eyes, ‘Section 80’ is when the career of Kendrick Lamar really kicked off. The debut studio album from Kendrick Lamar, ‘Section 80’ is a fully realized version of ‘Overly Dedicated.’ Sampling the likes of Gil-Scott Heron and the Wu Tang Clan, he implements his childhood influences throughout the record. Kendrick essentials such as “A.D.H.D” and “HiiiPower” appear on an album that’s proven to be timeless.

Kendrick expresses his love through multi-faceted verses and soul-induced beats on ‘Section 80.’ His most somber listen yet, it’s a stark contrast to the bangers than would populate his next album. It’s his most summertime album yet, as he pitches down his voice and lays down catchy melodies on an album that isn’t as a feature heavy compared to his previous records. However, he still finds the space to include the likes of Ab-Soul and BJ the Chicago Kid.

Relentless and conceptual, the project attacks themes such as the 80s crack epidemic, racism, and complex love interests. ‘Section 80’ proved that the name Kendrick Lamar would be here to stay. While not quite as tight-knit or consistent as his later projects, it’s a generational album that propelled him onto the main stage of hip-hop.

4. ‘DAMN

Kendrick Lamar’s favorite album (up until Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers), ‘DAMN’ is the fourth studio album from Kung Fu Kenny. He was on-fire going into ‘DAMN,’ piggybacking off of the hype of his previous two records. Featuring a big-budget sound and a celebratory feature list, it’s undoubtedly his most mainstream record yet. However, this doesn’t mean that the record is wallpaper or repetitive. Kendrick attacks plenty of fresh territory on ‘DAMN,’ such as on the drop-dead gorgeous “LOVE.”

Touching on topics such as race relations in a post-Obama America and a deteriorating personal faith, Kendrick seems as unsure of himself as ever on ‘DAMN.’ It’s surprising considering his aforementioned success, but it’s presented in an eye-opening and engaging manner. His most successful commercial release to date, hit lead single “HUMBLE” is nearing 2 billion streams on Spotify. In addition, “DNA” is approaching 1 billion streams.

Somehow, Kendrick finds a way to re-invent himself on the 2017 release. His most scattered album yet, each song employs a completely left-field sound. Whether it be the oddball sample on “FEEL” or the explosive “DNA,” it’s certainly a mind-boggling first listen. In many ways, ‘DAMN’ blends the softer elements of ‘Section 80’ with the rap anthem aspects of ‘GKMC.’ While the album is missing the replay value of our top three records, Kendrick’s frankness about his flaws makes ‘DAMN’ a hell of a ride.

3. ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’

Kendrick Lamar’s most recent release, ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’ was his most introspective record to date. His sixth and last release for Top Dog Entertainment, the album symbolizes a new era for the elusive rapper. Purposefully taking himself out of the limelight over a two to three year span, he returned with a newfound perspective after having his second daughter with fiancé Whitney Alford. Featuring the likes of Sampha, Kodak Black, and Summer Walker, it was arguably his strongest feature album yet.

The record sees Kendrick fully tackle many of the personal demos that he hinted at on ‘DAMN.’ Finally at peace with the reality that he (just like all of us) is inherently flawed, he sheathes his ego in favor of a therapeutic 78-minute expression of sound. The two disks symbolize two sides of Kendrick. On the first disk, he’s at a darker place, coming from a place of anger rather than understanding. The second disk sees Kendrick overcome his trauma through therapy and reflection on difficult experiences. Menacing piano chords and dark commentary populate much of the record, generating a unique sound that aids to the narrative of the album.

Even though ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’ is full of tearful ballads, that’s not to say that he doesn’t have any sort of fun. Teaming up with Baby Keem for electronic banger “N95,” rapid and wistful synths blend in with Kendrick’s menacing voice. “Die Hard” is a feel-good song through and through, as Kendrick takes a backseat to allow Blxst and Amanda Reifer to deliver gleeful vocal falsettos. “Rich Spirit” makes the listener feel as if they’re underwater, as the far-away vocals and snappy 808s aid to the relaxing, cerebral feel of the track.

‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers’ feels like the tight-knit, narratively conceptual project that ‘DAMN’ was meant to be. An emotional rollercoaster, Kendrick tackles his demons through transparent lyricism and experimental piano loops or synths. While Kendrick doesn’t quite match the vocal performances or consistency of our top 2 records, the Grammy-winning project was his “return of the king” moment.

2. ‘good Kid, m.A.A.d. city’

The quintessential coming of age rap album, ‘GKMC’ was Kendrick’s most banger-heavy record yet. Full of timeless rap anthems, it’s a conceptual callback to his Compton roots. Kendrick’s “we made it” record, the listener feels like he’s driving through Southern California in a Mercedes Benz with Kenny and his friends. Kendrick addresses many of the ills of growing up in Compton, from racial profiling to constant pressures to conform to the toxicity around him.

Releasing a mere year after ‘Section 80,’ ‘GKMC’ continued to solidify Kendrick as a socially aware lyricist, whose verses proved to be just as effective under a variety of genre-bending styles. However, this was undeniably his most hardcore hip-hop album to date. From “Money Trees” to “Swimming Pools,” he’s drowning in money, alcohol, and fame amidst trap beats. Many of the bangers act as smokescreens for his deep-rooted issues. “Swimming Pools” sounds like a simple banger that endorses alcohol on first listen. However, more listens make the nuance of Kendrick’s message about alcohol or drugs apparent.

Kendrick assumes a variety of alter-egos to symbolize his varying states of consciousness on the record. On “Backseat Freestyle,” he states “I pray my d**k get big as the Eiffel Tower” amidst a wind-chime sampled beat and a booming base. However, tracks such as “Real” reveal this ego to be un-founded, as it represents Kendrick behind drawn into the toxic life around him. “Sing About Me, Dying of Thirst” is commonly believed to be one of his best songs. A deeply religious track, Kendrick comes crashing down from the highs of fame and drug-use.

One of the greatest rap albums of the 2010s, the record was infamously snubbed for a Grammy by Macklemore’s ‘The Heist.’ However, it’s sound is un-paralleled. Kendrick is just a teenager trying to withhold the temptation to fall into the status quo of his surroundings, and the creative expression of that time in his life is beautiful.

1. ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’

At our number one spot, we have ‘To Pimp a Butterfly.’ Kendrick’s third studio album under TDE, he incorporates jazz, funk, and soul into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The theatricality is the record is all-encompassing, as Kendrick embraces all that comes with his roots. His most textured and in-depth studio album, he negates the claims of a utopic black future that many associated with President Obama. ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ is theatrical, crushing, and electric all at once.

‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ spans the history of African-American music, as proven by the hints of jazz and funk throughout the album. A tribute to those who struggled before him, his message is unsurprisingly layered and meaningful. With the cover art featuring his friends and brothers from Compton, the group stands over a white judge with his eyes crossed out. Seemingly an expression of solidarity and African-American expression, it’s one of the more powerful album covers of all time.

Kendrick covers topics such as race, sex, and poverty through funky grooves. As personal as ever, he discusses not being there enough for his relatives, or for the death of his friend. Take “Wesley’s Theory,” where he raps as various alter-egos amongst wailing g-funk synthesizers. Portraying that success come with debts, we also get our bangers such as “King Kunta” and “Alright.” Alcohol is a common theme throughout the album. In fact, you can literally how the swishing of liquor amongst the background of numerous tracks, symbolizing how fame has equated with him feeling more out of touch.

‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ is Kendrick Lamar’s best album, both on the sonic and conceptual front. From Thundercat’s basslines to the somber horns on “How Much a Dollar Cost?,” it’s a polarizing record in the best way possible. His most daring and ambitious project, the record signified a definite end to the bling era of rap. Balancing the grim reality of tragedy with the hope for a better future, it’s one of the most lyrically dense records of all time.

How Shannon Sharpe’s Net Worth Grew After The Gridiron

Pro Football Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe has made significant strides off the field as a sports commentator and businessman.

Arguably one of the top tight ends in NFL history, the 14-year football vet has since emerged as one of the most viewed sports analysts on television since retiring in 2003 once his broadcast career started a year later for CBS Sports show The NFL Today.

After nearly a decade, Sharpe joined Sirius NFL Radio as a co-host for their Opening Drive morning segment and was later inducted into the NFL Pro Football Hall Of Fame in 2011.

Two years later, the former Denver Bronco and Baltimore Raven later shifted his efforts as a columnist for FitnessRX For Men. He also served as a spokesperson for the brand being featured on the cover of their magazine in Sept. 2013.

But, Sharpes’ big media success came once he joined FOX Sports as a co-host in 2016 with fellow broadcast star Skip Bayless for the highly-rated debate show on FS1 SKIP AND SHANNON: UNDISPUTED.

Skip And Shannon: Undisputed

In the show, Shannon Sharpe and Bayless face off opposite one another weekly to discuss some of the big sports topics of the day.

The 54-year-old eight-time Pro Bowler reportedly has an estimated net worth of $14 million in 2013.

Over the course of playing in the NFL, he has earned more than $20 million.

Sharpe has recently launched a new podcast show with FOX Sports called Club Shay Shay. He sits down one-on-one and interviews athletes, influencers, and celebrities. They discuss the latest topics and trending headlines in sports and pop culture.

Outside of his media ventures, the father of three launched a premium cognac called Shay by Le Portier in 2021.

Shannon Sharpe’s Brand New Luxury Spirits Collaboration

Shay by Le Portier launched in partnership with leading luxury spirits expert Jay Bradley of The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. He is the creator of the world’s most expensive whiskey, The Emerald Isle. It sold at an auction for $2 million, according to reports.

“When I decided to create my own cognac, I knew I had to find someone who really knew about taste and how to build up those layers of flavor I love,” stated Sharpe in a press release.

He added that Le Portier is a testament to his unmatched passion for cognac.

“So much of the inspiration in my life comes from the places I’ve been and people I’ve met through professional football,” Shannon Sharpe said. “I started thinking, ‘What if I could share that sense of connection and conversation with friends with everyone!’ That’s the reason for creating Le Portier Cognac.”

Currently, Shay’s VSOP inaugural cognac release has a retail price of $98.99, with future luxury releases to be announced.

The now award-winning cognac is being recognized with high honors. This includes winning Platinum – Best in Class at the SIP Awards 2022.

Shay by Le Portier Is Award-Winning

So far, Shay by Le Portier has reportedly won seven prestigious awards for taste and design. Therefore, it has beaten established brands such as CourvoisierRémy Martin, and Branson by rap superstar Curtis 50 Cent Jackson.

The company’s awards list includes:

  • Gold at The Spirits Business Design and Packaging Masters 2021
  • Gold at The Spirits Business Cognac 2022
  • Silver at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2022
  • Silver at the International Spirits Challenge 2022
  • Awarded 93 points at the New York International Spirits Competition 2022
  • Gold at The San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022
  • Platinum – Best in Class at the SIP Awards 2022

Bradley previously stated, “Shay by Le Portier is a game-changer in the cognac market. Everyone knows Shannon Sharpe. They all know how much he loves great cognac. So when we first met, I knew that with his taste and my knowledge of how to create the incredible layers of flavor he loves–we could make something incredible.”

Sharpe states on his website that the premium cognac is dedicated to his grandmother, Mary Porter. She helped raise him and his other siblings in Glenville, Georgia, and helped him become the man he is today.

“There’s no question in my mind I would be where I am…had it not been for her,” he said. “It’s about putting in the work and having the right people on your team to inspire you.”

Sharpe and his siblings, Libby and Sterling, moved with Porter from Chicago, after realizing her daughter needed help raising them.

“I became the player; I became the person; I became the man that I am because of that 1,000 square foot cinder block home,” he added.

Major Songs Muni Long Has Co-Written

In case you didn’t know, Priscilla Renea Hamilton is Muni Long.  Priscilla Renea is Muni Long as well.  And yes, Priscilla Hamilton is Muni Long!  You may have seen these names and thought they were different people, but they are all one person.  One amazingly talented Florida artist.

Muni Long has been in the game for a while now.  She got her first start in 2008 on the song “Here I Am” by the girl group, Girlicious.  When she was on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, she recalled having the opportunity to get in the studio with Drake.  Throughout the years, Long has gained notoriety as a songwriter, even being a part of the Academy Awards committee.

Let’s take a look at the songs Muni Long has co-written.

Your Favorite Artists

Muni Long has worked with some of the biggest artists in R&B.  A few of the artists she has worked with might be your favorite.  In 2010, she worked with Barbados singer Rihanna on her album, Loud.  She was on the team that helped write the song, “California King Bed”, a combination of R&B and rock.  Long also provided the background vocals for the “break-up” single.

The following year, she worked with the “Umbrella” artist’s former flame, Chris Brown.  She helped write his hit, “Beg for It”, which was included on the deluxe edition of his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E.  The Public Displays of Affection Too artist was called upon again by Breezy for his follow up to F.A.M.E.  His hit song, “Don’t Wake Me Up”, was written in one night, to which Long attributed to.

Mary J. Blige was next on the list as the Florida singer helped Blige write “Don’t Mind”.  This was the last single off her album, My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act 1), but wasn’t the last time the two have worked together.  They came together for two songs off the soundtrack for the movie, Think Like A Man Too, “Wonderful” and “Kiss and Make Up”.

Long ended up getting the opportunity to write for Mariah Carey a few years later.  In 2015, she contributed to “Infinity” off Carey’s compilation album, #1 to Infinity.  The “Hrs and Hrs” singer worked with the Grammy winning artist again in 2018.  She helped write “A No No”, a song that sampled “Crush on You” by Lil Kim.  Just like in “California King Bed”, Long provided background vocals here as well.

Muni Long is Versatile

Priscilla Renae can make music with anyone.  She has proven throughout her career as she has worked with artists across different genres.   In 2011, Muni Long served as the lone songwriter on two songs by Selena Gomez and her band the Scene.  “Bang Bang Bang” and “Who Says” are two different songs as the songwriter switches up from Electro-disco to pop, respectively.

Long continued on this wave when she worked with Madonna, the following year.  She serves as one of the writers on the “Material Girl”’s single, “Gang Bang”.  “Gang Bang” is a mix of techno, electronic, dance, and pop.

In 2013, Long was tasked to help write Pitbull’s hit song, “Timber” featuring Kesha.  The popular song was a mix of EDM, dance-pop, folktronica, and country. She helped write pop group Fifth Harmony’s hit, “Worth It” featuring Kid Ink in 2015 and followed it up next year on “Write on Me”.

After working with a legend in Mariah Carey in 2018, the 34-year-old singer also worked with pop superstar Ariana Grande later on that year.  For her fifth studio album, Grande tapped Long for “imagine”.  After its success, the two linked up again in 2020 for two songs off her album, Positions,  “six thirty” and “just like magic”.

Pop star Nick Jonas got a chance to write two songs with Muni Long from his album, Last Year Was Complicated,  “Bacon” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and “Touch” both have a mix of R&B and Pop.

She has also worked with Demi Lovato, Charlie Puth, and the Florida Georgia Line.

Evidently, there’s not a genre she can’t do.

Hitmaker

Long before Muni Long released “Hrs and Hrs”, she saw chart success.  Long has surely been a part of some hits!  ”California King Bed” is a 2x platinum song topping the charts worldwide in countries like Switzerland and the United Kingdom.  ”Worth It” is 4x platinum with its highest ranking coming in at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  She helped Fifth Harmony to be the first United States girl group to have a top 20 hit in 6 years at the time.

One of her biggest contributions was to “Timber”.  Pitbull’s hit song was amongst Billboard’s Top 100 Songs of the Decade.  It was number one on the Hot 100 chart for three weeks straight!  ”Timber” is a certified Diamond song, which Long can put on her resume when many artists can’t .

In 2017, Muni Long can say she won a Grammy.  She had her hands all over Kelly Clarkson’s hit song, “Love So Soft”, as it won Best Solo Pop Performance at the 60th Academy awards.  Long is one of three songwriters, and also is credited for background vocals and vocal production.

Many of the “Time Machine” singer’s contributions have hit the charts or are still on the charts around the world.  She’s a hitmaker and a winner!

Let us know which Muni Long songs are your favorite in the comments!

A Look Into Rick Ross’ Business Ventures

There’s a reason why Rick Ross is known in many circles as “The Biggest Boss”. The Florida rapper has accrued six number one albums on Billboard and is also the CEO of Maybach Music Group, a record label that includes artists such as Meek Mill and Gunplay. Outside of music, Ross has long established himself as a mogul, as his success in many different business ventures has led to a very lucrative life for the boss.

Wingstop

Perhaps Ross’ most well-known business venture is his ownership of supposedly thirty Wingstop locations around the country. Rick Ross is listed as the owner of Boss Wings Enterprises LLC along with his mother and sister. The Boss opened his first Wingstop location over ten years ago. And according to Ross, the restaurants bring him about $7 million a year. Ross also gifted one of his Wingstop locations to his son for his sixteenth birthday.

Checkers and Rally’s

Ross also owns a number of Checkers and Rally’s restaurants. In Ross’ teens, he would save up enough money while working at a car wash to be able to eat at Checkers frequently. Because of this, Ross’ purchase of a Checkers restaurant was something of a lifetime ambition for the rapper. The Boss also purchased the Checkers location across the street from Miami Carol City Senior High School. This was his former school where he played football.

Evander Holyfield’s House for Charity

In 2014, Rick Ross bought boxer Evander Holyfield’s house for $5.8 million. The house has one hundred and nine rooms. It sits on two hundred and thirty five acres of land in Fayetteville County, Georgia. It is reportedly the largest house in the state of Georgia. The house is also equipped with an indoor pool, a movie theatre, an outdoor pool, and an indoor basketball court. Ross decided to use the house for his “In a Big Way” charity, as he stated, “It’s somebody that needs that inspiration. We’re going to open up them doors to these kids from New Orleans, from Atlanta, from Miami and just open their minds a little bit.”

JetDoc

In addition to his own charity, Ross has also collaborated with JetDoc on multiple occasions. JetDoc’s mission is to provide affordable healthcare to millions of Georgians. In 2011, Ross partnered with CEO of JetDoc, Tommy Duncan, to promise $1 million in free medical visits for people in the state of Georgia.

Belaire Rosé & 1800 Tequila

Ross is also a major promoter for Belaire Rosé Champagne, as the boss has his own “Rick Ross Edition” drink. The brand is owned by niaz, a New York-based company named Sovereign Brands. Belaire Rosé bottles can be seen in many of Ross’s music videos as well as videos and photos of himself on social media. The Boss also served as a brand ambassador for the Tequila brand 1800 to promote the 1800 Tequila’s Select Silver.

Rich Hair Care

The Boss also has his own hair care and grooming brand known as “Rich by Rick Ross”. Ross began releasing his beard care products with Rich in 2018 and has since expanded the amount of products he endorses. Rich by Rick Ross has hair care and grooming products for both men and women including moisturizer, pomade cream, conditioner, shampoo, and an assortment of other products.

Hempacco

In September of 2022, Rick Ross partnered with Hempacco to create CBD products. The venture was known as “Hemp Hop Smokables”. In a statement made by Ross himself he said, “I truly believe in the health benefits of hemp-derived products. Having had my own health scares, and through my healing process, I decided I would develop a line of smokables to help others with the benefits of hemp cannabinoids.” Ross has suffered from seizures in the past and was also hospitalized in 2018 with an apparent heart attack.

Future Ventures

“The Biggest Boss” has also recently invested his money in cryptocurrency and NFT’s. He has also published two New York Times best-selling books. He is rumored to own around one hundred and twenty cars. In an interview with Complex in November of 2021, Ross stated that his goal is to get as many people rich as he can. He said that “That’s how big boys do it”. The Boss is also rumored to have his sights set on the Miami Heat. Ross stated in 2021 that his three year plan was to eventually have a stake of ownership in the basketball team’s franchise.

Net Worth

As of February of 2023, Rick Ross’s net worth is estimated at $45 million. Over the past decade the Florida native has worked to establish himself not only as an iconic rapper, but also as a financial mogul. Overall, The Boss has stated in past interviews that he wants to be on the same level financially as businessmen such as Elon Musk.

Everything About T-Pain’s Upcoming ‘On Top Of The Cover’s Album

When the word auto-tuned is said out loud, there should be one name you think of immediately. The man who is the staple of the auto-tune and paved the way for others using it as well. That man is no other than T-Pain

Faheem Rashad Najm, most famously known as T-Pain, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has produced some of the most well-known club songs and has a recognizable voice. However, after three years, he is dropping an album.

T-Pain Album Timeline

The big-time artist was constantly in the studio during the mid-2000s and early 2010s. Further on, he dropped three studio albums between 2005-2008 and took a short break to return in 2011.

That was the last solo album he released until 2014, when he made a compilation album. Between then, only a little new music was heard from T-Pain until 2017. After that, he made a shocking return with the album “Oblivion,” then released one more studio album and a compilation in 2019 and 2020.

In the meantime, T-Pain has been busy behind the scenes with music. During his break, he can be seen making music and reviewing other artists on the popular streaming website Twitch. Additionally, he replaced Dj Khaled as a judge on the show “Go-Big Show.”

Announcement From T-Pain

On February 15, 2023, T-Pain took to Instagram and shared a picture of the album, quoting, “You’ve been asking for it, and here ya go, bro. A T-Pain cover album to end all cover albums…..”

“On Top Of The Covers” will be the name of this album which will be forthcoming on Friday, March 17. The long-awaited album has been in the works for four years, and the recording started after he was the winner of the hit tv show “The Masked Singer.”

On the website Rap-Up, T-Pain had this to say about the upcoming album, “This covers album has been years in the making,” said T-Pain. “I started recording this right after I won ‘The Masked Singer.’ “These songs are not what you’d expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album, and that is what I think is cool about it.”

On Top Of The Covers

The album will be a different listen than what most fans commonly expect. Instead of the usual mix of auto-tune, this album will showcase his authentic voice and natural talent. In addition, this album will consist of covers of popular songs, and the thought of T-Pain using his natural voice on this album will be music to our ears.

Down below is the tracklist for the seven songs.

1. “A Change Is Gonna Come

2. “Don’t Stop Believin‘”

3. “Sharing The Night Together

4. “Stay With Me

5. “Tennessee Whiskey

6. “That’s Life” feat. NandoSTL

7. “War Pigs

Tracklist

The first song on the list will be “A Change Is Gonna Come,” The song was initially released on December 22, 1964, by Sam Cooke. Therefore, this is the oldest song on the tracklist.

The second song on the list is Journey’s most famous song, “Don’t Stop Believin.” The song was released on October 19, 1981.

Next up on the list comes “Sharing The Night Together.” Released on September 27, 1978, by Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show.

Followed by the song “Stay With Me.” A popular song by Sam Smith was released on April 14, 2014.

A more recent song from the list would be “Tennessee Whiskey.” Even though it has had multiple renditions, T-Pain will use the Chris Stapleton version. This version of the song was released in the year 2015.

Then we have the song “That’s Life.” This song is the only one to have a feature incorporated into the album. Frank Sinatra was the original voice of this song, which was released on November 18, 1966.

Lastly, we have the song “War Pigs.” English heavy metal band Black Sabbath was the original performer. Releasing the song in the year 1970.

A T-Pain Performance

Additionally, with the release, T-Pain will also be holding two performances. The shows will be taking place in Los Angeles at The Sun Rose. They will occur on March 17 & 18, two days after the official release.

Tickets to the event will be going on sale Friday, February 17, at 1:00 pm ET. They will be available on T-Pain’s website; it is definitely a concert you want to attend.

Possibility

The delay on the album was because T-Pain was under contract with a label. As soon as he went independent, he knew this was the moment for the album to drop finally.

T-Pain had this to say about the delays, “It got put on hold for a bit, but now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment, and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time.”

With the talent that T-Pain possesses, we expect nothing but positive reviews. Additionally, his natural talent with his signing can make this a worthwhile listen.

H.E.R’s Best Collaborations

H.E.R. is a name wrapped in a mystery. Two years ago, no one knew who the true identity of the singer was, and her real name (Gabriella ‘Gabi’ Wilson) was a mystery. Everyone thinks of her as a musical ghost. You may either know her by her voice or the sunglasses that hide her face, but knowing H.E.R. is all that matters.

However, the American singer has won over the heart of R&B fans globally with her smooth voice and deep lyrics. To truly understand the sense of H.E.R.’s growth, we review some of her best collaborations.

“Make the Most” by H.E.R and Lonr

Without a doubt, “Make the Most” is a genuine R&B song. This song is a three-minute song that is catchy and fun to listen to. As the world slowly comes into focus, Lonr. and H.E.R.’s lovelorn lyrics blend beautifully to a heavenly degree. The hook says, “I wanna grow old with you, make the most with you, That’s the goal.”

“Making the Most” is more than just a great collaboration for Lonr. It’s also a sneak peek at his first EP, Land of Nothing Real. Nevertheless, this song is a love letter and a criticism of the way police are always violent in America. It emphasizes the fact that tomorrow is never promised.

“Best Part” by H.E.R and Daniel Ceaser

The compilation album H.E.R. came out on October 20, 2017, and it had songs from all three EPs in this series. The smash acoustic collaboration, ‘Best Part,’ included the beautiful thoughts of Daniel Ceasar.

Undeniably, this soft, thoughtful love song has become a mainstay on alternative radio. This song was on H.E.R.’s most successful personal release to date. It was nominated for Album of the Year and Best New Artist at the 61st Grammy Awards, where it won the Best R&B Album award.

“We Going Crazy” by DJ Khaled, Migos, and H.E.R

This song by DJ Khaled features both H.E.R and Migos. Khaled and H.E.R. have never worked together before on any music. Interestingly, this is their first collaboration and it turned out to be a smash hit! “We going crazy” is a song all about how lucky you are to have life, money, and family.

“Hey, oh, I know that you heard about me

We pull up in the alley out there

Let that go, run us our money and don’t be late, yeah”

You should definitely check this song out if you haven’t and experience H.E.R.’s grand voice.

“The Lay Down”

The song “The Lay Down” by DRAM and H.E.R. is a great R&B song and a chill anthem. Solely, because it has all of the best parts of R&B. It has soothing melodies and a change to a well-known tune. “The Lay Down” is a song with a lot of soul and sexuality, perfect for a romantic evening.

“Smile”

Smile is an amazing song that features H.E.R and the Nigerian rapper Wizkid. Thse two professional singers surprise the world with their beautiful hit chill song.

Most importantly, this song is great because H.E.R sings in a foreign language and the beat is catchy. Smile is a cool, catchy love song with a lot of strong verses that make it a must-listen tune. This love song topped many African music charts due to her collaboration with Wizkid.

“One Second” by Stormzy and H.E.R

“One Second” is a sweet song that was nicely written and composed. This 2019 song is part of H.E.R best’s collaboration which you can afford to miss. The song portrays the struggle of being a superstar with strong political ideas. In the past, Stormy has once made a political statement, which he admits in the song. He says that he will always fight for what he believes in, no matter how it affects his brand.

Quotable Lyrics:

“One second to recollect

Just a second, a second is all I get

I can’t tell where I’m heading, I’m outta breath

All these early premonitions of my death (Ooh)”

“In This Way” (with Khalid)

“This Way” is a soulful song about how important it is to talk to your partner. This song is called “slow-burning” by Nerisha Penrose because the tension between the two lovers builds as they tell each other how much they hurt. The song starts with the man’s view of their relationship, then moves on to the woman’s view, and then changes to a duet. The duet becomes an important part of the song because it shows that they don’t like each other very much.

If you are having mixed feelings about something, this collaboration might just be what you need! Check it out and let’s know what you feel about it!

“Find a Way” (featuring Lil Baby and Lil Durk)

In her song “Find a Way,” which features Lil Durk and Lil Baby, H.E.R. stresses the importance of sticking to one’s guns. She combines her perfect, soft, but strong voice with words about persistence to make a catchy hook that both Durk and Baby follow carefully.

Furthermore, the main message of the song is to stay true to yourself. Baby and Durk add verses about their lives before they were famous and the troubles they faced along the way.  Basically, money is clearly the main motivation, and getting to the bag has costs and consequences, such as broken relationships and angry enemies.

Quotable Lyrics: “I got in my bag, and when I looked up, I saw nothing but haters. No matter how much money we spent, we never let the paper follow us.”

Come Through (with Chris Brown)

With each new song she puts out, H.E.R.’s popularity grows. In 2021, she released this song with fellow hitmaker Chris Brown. “Come Through,” is a song that portrays exactly what the title suggests. On “Come Through,” a deep and chill duet, H.E.R. and Chris Brown trade rhyme about how they want to see each other and cancel other plans to do so.

Nevertheless, “Come Through” isn’t the first time H.E.R. has collaborated with Brown. In 2019, they worked together on “Come Together,” a song on Brown’s “Indigo” album.

“Better Than I Imagined” (with Robert Glasper)

Robert Glasper collaborated with H.E.R. and Meshell Ndegeocello on “Better Than I Imagined.”  Like many of H.E.R’s best-known songs, this one is soft, sensual, and hard to stop listening to. It’s also full of both true love and heartbreak. But there is more to it than that. “Black lives matter, and so does Black love. No one wants to live without love, but generations of people in our community haven’t had the means to be in healthy relationships,” Glasper said (via Rolling Stone). H.E.R won the 2021 Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for her part in the song.
