Blueface’s Sister Kaliwae And Karlissa Saffold Get Into Heated Instagram Feud Over Kaliwae’s Children

Blueface and his family are constantly embroiled in some sort of drama, and that does not seem to be going away, anytime soon. Overall, a lot of this drama stems from Karlissa Saffold, who has become quite popular on social media. Recently, she found herself at odds with her won daughter Kaliwae, who is Blue’s sister. It all began when Kaliwae questioned Saffold’s grandmothering skills. This was done with the message: “If anything happens to my sons @karlissa_angelic did it. I’ll be home soon son, I will never have you near this women again.”

Subsequently, Saffold went off on her daughter on social media with a slick message. “You can come now, but I bet you won’t come before you get done kicking it. You and your brothers are lames; all took after your weak ssa daddies,” Saffold wrote. Eventually, this continued in the form of a back-and-forth where Saffold questioned Kaliwae’s desire to pick up her own kids. From there, Kaliwae posted a photo of herself with another shady caption towards Saffold. “My own mama gon slime me out fa the bread. That’s why iunno trust yah,” she wrote.

Saffold would continue to respond with a few posts of her own. In one of them, Saffold made the claim that this beef started because Kaliwae got plastic surgery, and Saffold warned her against it. “Y’all heard me! The only thing I said to her was she didn’t need surgery and she lost it. But they gone try to make me look bad because I told her pick your own kids up. Now she throwing me under a bus,” Saffold wrote. Needless to say, these two have a lot of issues that need to be resolved.

Brian McKnight is facing backlash on social media for a pair of posts on his Instagram page from Friday. In one, he paid tribute to his stepson in honor of his birthday while in another, he discussed parenting for a new series he described as “Fatherhood Fridays.” In the episode, he didn’t mention his biological son, Niko, who is currently battling cancer.

“Trolling your biological children is childish especially at a time like this. You’re doing all that for an audience forgetting that GOD is the one truly watching,” one user commented on the birthday tribute. In response to the “Fatherhood Friday” video, one fan posted: “What about your other biological children. Are you not proud of them? Where are they in this?” Others did come to his defense. “Keep your head up B! Don’t listen to the haters!” one user wrote under the birthday tribute. “Your talent will always stand above the rest.” One more added: “He probably get more love from him then he do from his real son so that’s who he acknowledges. And I get it. Period. Celebrate those who celebrate you.”

McKnight previously denied the accusations of being a deadbeat father, instead suggesting that he and his current wife, Leilani, “jumped into action” when they learned of Niko’s battle with cancer. Speaking about the situation during an Instagram Q&A in April, the singer put the blame on his ex-wife, Julie. He argued she told him to stay away, to which she labeled him a “liar” in a statement to Page Six.

In the “Fatherhood Friday” video, McKnight also called out someone by the name of Rick. “I wanted to have a guest today, but as you can see, I’m here by myself so I guess he wasn’t man enough to have a conversation about fatherhood,” he said. Last month, Brian McKnight took to social media with some words about his biological children, prompting mixed reactions from fans. In a clip, he explained that he needed to eradicate any and all “evil” from his life, suggesting that this was the reason he disowned them. As expected, he’s since been hit with a great deal of backlash, prompting Rickey Smiley to chime in. The comedian offered support to McKnight’s estranged children, but some people thought he overstepped, including Tyrese.

Tyrese addressed McKnight’s family drama, seemingly defending him, and Smiley’s post in a clip. “I want to talk to my brother Rickey Smiley,” he began. “And I want to say to you that it is unfair in my grown a** man opinion to say that, that man, and his ex-wife and the mother of his kids which are now grown adults, past 30 years old. Whatever their specific dynamic is, there’s a bunch of things that have been said and done over the years that is nobody’s business that has contributed to where they are. This is not fair to say, ‘Well, they my kids’, or ‘They’re grown. They are adults, and so I ain’t ever gone turn my back on my kids…’ Kids out here be saying some f*cked up sh*t. Earlier this week, he hopped online to respond to a commenter questioning how his biological daughter Briana must feel about being disowned by her father and watching him praise his step-daughter Julia online. Instead of acknowledging Briana, however, he simply referred to Julia as his “one and only daughter.”

“She feels great,” he said of Julia in a clip posted on Instagram. “See, Julia understands the scripture Exodus 20:12, where it says, and I quote, ‘Honor thy father and thy mother that thy days be long upon the land..’ See, she honors us, and in turn, we honor her because she knows how proud of her we are.”

Currently, comedian Mo’Nique is feeling the heat after her firstborn, Shalon Jackson responded to her comments about parenting on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. “I would like to free her from having to continue telling that lie,” he told viewers of his 10-minute TikTok video that details things from his perspective. To avoid being overcome by emotions or getting off track, Jackson wrote down his thoughts and read them out earlier this week.

“Faith without work is dead, and neither one of us cares to put forth any effort to reconcile with the other. We are separate as she put it because she doesn’t care to be my mother any more than I care to be her son,” the 34-year-old shared. Their relationship has come to a standstill, as neither is making moves to contact the other, Vibe notes. Additionally, Jackson is hurt that his mother’s new husband, known to her as “Daddy,” doesn’t acknowledge him.

The latest spate of viral attention for King Harris and his family stems from a livestream gone wrong a few weekends ago. A livestream at a Falcons game on November 26 went sideways after King started arguing with his parents. Voices and tensions continued to rise as the two sides yelled at each other. At one point, T.I. could be heard yelling “N-gga! You are an embarrassment to your family! You are an embarrassment!” Later, King appeared to post an obscured photo from behind a car wheel. He added the text “I stand on BUSINESS. DON’T GIVE A F-CK WHO U ARE.”

Of course, the family has always found itself in the spotlight. Earlier in November, T.I. couldn’t help but clown his son, King Harris, over the latter’s new teeth. During an appearance on The Baller Alert Show, King was asked about his newly-whitened teeth. However, before he could respond, T.I. jumped in with some roasts. “Well, the tooth of the matter is…” his father said, leading to several minutes of jokes from everyone involved. Highlights included “Toothpac Shakur” and “Queen Lateethfah”. Despite this, King took it all as good fun and quickly fired off some shots of his own at the show hosts.
